John has reported today, the convoy is gathering participants along the route and now encompasses approximately 20 miles of trucks. The truckers drive anywhere from a minimum of 250 to 375 miles a day. Travel times range from a minimum of three and a half hours of driving to a maximum of five and three quarters hours of driving a day.
As John shares, “the People’s Convoy, now more than 20 miles long, rolls through Oklahoma to cheering crowds at overpasses across the state.” The overpasses along the route are filled with cheering supporters. Here’s the Day Five report. WATCH:

Just an idea, but given the convoy is not slated to enter D.C., sending a second column of trucks to Philadelphia to roll past Independence Hall with each one pausing long enough to give one shot on the horn would be a great bit of theater.

This is smart. If they enter the city they are within the jurisdiction of Pelosi’s brownshirts (Capitol police). That is not the case if they stay on the Beltway – and if you are familiar with the area, encircling the city on the Beltway will have a huge impact and make their point.
DC is a ghost town. The federal buildings are empty and much of Congress doesn’t bother to show up. Biden is not in the White House and Kamala is not in the VP mansion (it is being decorated?).
They are not going to be there for the SOTU – which is a joke anyway. Only 50 members are invited at it is being taped in the afternoon to be shown in the evening – it is not being show LIVE because they will have to edit Biden!
The globalist elites are so concerned about their Covid narrative falling apart and the American people rising up at school board meetings and these convoys etc… not to mention the evidence of the coup in 2020 coming to light… that they provoked the conflict in Ukraine to distract from what is happening here at home!

Bad idea. The roads near Independence Hall in Philly are way too narrow for trucks, having been laid out in the days of horses and buggies. And they are usually choked with tourists.
I once made a delivery to the Mint there and I required three police vehicles as escorts to block traffic so I could use the entire intersection to make the turns. Never again!

I posted a twit about those that should appear at some point (awaiting approval).
I read something earlier. Unless it was a misprint, it said a smaller convoy was on I-44, going to meet up with the main convoy, so yes I expect smaller convoys are en route from Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas, etc.
If they are going 60-75 mph,…and the convoy takes 40+ minutes to pass,…I think its longer than 20 miles!
Based on the truckers who live stream from their cabs, and the dedicated embedded streamers, I’ve seen travel speeds of late from 35-50 mph when under police escort, something happening in Oklahoma and Missouri.
The convoy is long, yes, but a lot of that is four wheelers making the trip, not big rigs. Last count I personally did when they filed into Cuba was just under 100 tractor-trailers and bobtails.
In the Springfield area, when under state police escort, it took about 15 minutes for them to pass a static position at what the truckers reported as 50mph, so around 12 miles long. However, there could have been some stragglers, that happens.
Opinion varies on effectiveness. My personal take is media and politicians and their propaganda is most effective on the masses who believe that; the convoy is real people interacting with real people up close and personal like Americans used to.
Strangers getting to know each other. Small towns and far flung regions coming together in person, if only briefly, to support fellow Americans and their freedoms. It’s symbolic of an America I once knew and loved. Hope.

The Peoples Convoy is going to meet its objectives. You can tell that from the shills. Depending on fundraising and personal fortitude, I would suggest sending in a small group of truckers “into” DC when the time comes (multiple times). Park somewhere in the Mall. Size for effect (small/medium). Gauge government reaction. Remember, peaceful optics.
Iterate your way into a “positive” position. You will hit walls of negativity. Assess and Adapt.

I tend to agree with you but applaud their efforts at peaceful redress of grievances. Little doubt the same or similar people could also be very effective in adverse action based on the number of military vets who drive trucks I’ve seen interviewed. They know the other side, those realities.
Trucks are tools. They move the goods we, many/most of us, depend on. They’re also fabulous weapons. Many uses, in peace and war. For now, it’s peace.

I live in the DC area. Trucks are allowed in the City but not around the Capital building. I have a Silverado 3500 dually and the police shoo me away every time I get near there.
This wasted opportunity convoy should have headed straight to the Canadian border crossings in support of the Canadian truckers and blocked the border. Going to Washington DC does what??? They already know that we hate them. No?
Citizens must come to realize how only a few people decide how they live and go as far as what they MUST inject into their bodies.

Outside of the beltway influence, Virginia has a rich history of both conservative politics and focus on freedom and liberty. I’d expect the convoy leaders and their logistics team are already deep into next steps once they arrive in the area and how to best maintain their presence.
Two wild cards, political prisoners and PDJT. I’ve been seeing more Trump flags and signs from locals as the convoy moves east. American flags still dwarf them but they’re there.

Was thinking a little earlier about all the BULLCRAP going on… and the INCOMPETENTS running our Federal Government… and the UTTER NONSENSE that we’re living through. Then I started thinking about all the USELESS BOOBS we’ve had the displeasure of dealing with over recent years… the General Mattis’, and the General Kellys, and the General Milleys… and so, so many others. I was feeling a little pessimistic tonight, I have to be honest. Wasn’t feeling good about the outlook for this country… just thinking about what’s gone down just over the past 13 months(!) with this INCOMPETENT FOOL sitting in the Fake Oval Office Sound Stage. It’s maddening.

That and the fact that the Freedom Convoy spread around the world “toot-sweet”.
It did start small, a bit over 30 tractor-trailers and bobtails, and didn’t grow much until hitting Texas. Penske called in their leased rig but I believe the driver found alternate equipment and has caught up with the group now. Most of the convoy in the early days was four wheelers.
There happened to be a local from where I worked in decades past in the oil industry who set out to cover the convoy from coast to coast so I’ve been following him and getting the unbiased raw footage of daily events.
One thing the bioweapon underscored is how prolifically the professional classes across the nation lie; that’s baked in now for those of us who follow current events in detail. Lies are effective though. We’ve all been affected by them, which is part of the trucker’s pushback; to cast light on the lies.
People are given free will by God. Our fight is to maintain that free will and let no mortal cast it asunder. If people want to believe the lies and propaganda, that’s their choice.

Having watched it grow daily by the miracle of live internet from citizen reporters running with the convoy, I will opine it’s lifted my heretofore gloomy spirits and taken the edge off that anger that impels adverse action. I’m still skeptical but keep in mind that PDJT used diplomacy first, then financial leverage, then adverse action as only a last, sparing, resort, and did so very successfully.

It was so wonderful to see the American Truckers after seeing ours a few weeks ago. I listened to the people being interviewed, loved all the pride, freedom, it touched my heart, I had tears in my eyes. I am so proud of our Canadian and American Truckers. God Bless them. I was not able to donate on Givesendgo, perhaps they have me flagged due to donating to our heroes here. Well since I could not donate to the truckers here, I donated to CTH!

When watching the embedded live streamers, one heartening trend I’ve noted is, given their route is a major transport artery, the numbers of truckers hauling loads chiming in on the CB, Channel 19 is their normal ops channel for convoy instructions so far, and offering their support and sometimes salty language about the conditions in their industry and the country as a whole.
I noted at the Cuba stop, one of the organizers noted the realities of what Canada went through and mentioned a ‘laundry basket’ as an alternative for donors who wished to avoid the whole donation milieu, similar to the ‘envelopes of love’ I saw passed out in Ottawa. People find a way.

Their route sure has pointed up the stalwart resilience of citizens in some pretty devastated communities along the way, something most would miss if following news stories versus the embedded live streamers who show everything from dawn to dusk live and unedited.
The convoy is pumping lifeblood into some of those communities and giving them wider notice, something vital as America, everyday Americans, seeks to recover from this political and social nightmare we’ve been in.
My take, following the convoy from Adelanto daily now, is it’s more about people and American values than a particular political issue or statement. Mandates were the focus to start but it’s grown from there.
We still have a long way to go but this old-time skeptic isn’t quite as skeptical as a month ago when Canada’s convoy movement really hit the news.

The convoy (the one from the west coast) was prepared to re-route around Illinois but apparently have worked things out. Perhaps Illinois LEO’s have seen the open and vigorous support their law enforcement brethren have been offering to the convoy as it proceeds and grows in a safe and respectful manner. IDK.
Considering the relatively remote part of Illinois on I-70 the convoy would pass through, IMO more hyperbole from Communist political operatives in the law enforcement community. Good information.

There is a reason this is important that I don’t often see mentioned. My uncle worked for a tv station. He said that if they got five letters complaining about a program that they would get panicked. They figured that the ratio of letters, written on paper and mailed, was 100 to 1 to the people that wanted to write. Phone calls were not considered important. Anyone that is in public relations knows that the difficulty of making the complaint should be used to gauge intensity and true numbers.
The convoy is difficult. They know a lot of people want to be there and can’t. They see the people lining the roads. Every visible face is a real person and has infinitely more value that a post here or a reply to a tweet.
If everyone that really matters is included, there are roughy 10k people running the whole mess including the people behind the scenes. There are probably a million that are minions carrying out the orders. They can use their force to control about 10 times their numbers so 10 million. That is an estimate but it serves for now. If they see 10 million people that are potentially serious about apposition, they will panic. J6 was that panic. This has the potential to create another panic.
The seriousness of the response will be significant but that does not mean it should not be done. Show them The numbers, but do nothing that will turn their panic into a response. That appears to be what the truckers are trying to do.

It’s pretty obvious to me that the most important thing about this as it goes cross country is to show 2 groups of people that there are large #’s of Americans who are united.
Group 1: We the People
Group 2: TPTB.
WE need to know these people are standing in support and TPTB need to know that too.

I attended an OK2A meeting last night and 2 OK truckers attended. They had joined the convoy on Sunday and traveled for 280 miles across OK with them.
They said bridges, overpasses and roadsides were packed with people welcoming the truckers, flying American and Canadian flags and everyone was so excited to see them. They said it was as good as attending a MAGA rally!
As I read this, “On the Road Again” by Willie Nelson comes on the radio! Let freedom roll!!

These guys are spending a fortune for fuel,not to mention lost working income.
Imagine how much corporations spend to buy politicians and write the laws that enslave us, enriching the professional liar class who make nothing, build nothing, manufacture nothing. Here, truckers are enriching modest communities and local businesses. Note the truck stops they stay at; not the big corporate ones and in small and medium sized towns, not big ones.
Anyone in business knows one must spend money to make money and advertising and pressing flesh is a big part of that. Also, note all the trailers in this convoy, easily over half the OTR have trailers. Every trailer represents a load potential and bobtails can grab trailers for return loads. I’ll bet the truckers have it all figured out. Expensive, yes. Trucking is expensive.
Anyone note a shortage/scarcity of diesel engine lubricants lately? It’s been discussed. Why diesel-specific and not lubricants in general? Those of us who run diesels have seen it. Interesting.
The guy who was driving the Penske truck that was called back ended up finding other equipment and has now caught up. He related getting some love on his catch-up when people found out where he was; some came out to man the overpasses along his route. I’ll bet his expenses are outsized. Still, stalwart. They’re on a mission from God. They prayed together this morning before setting out. Safe travels.

Personally, would prefer they circle DC rather than park there and honk. I believe message would be clear and if not a nationwide trucker strike may just do the trick.
