This is one of the goofiest notification letters for noncompliance with the ridiculous COVID vaccination mandate. LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva shared via Twitter. Read this letter from the original baseline that vaccine mandates were about health:
Presumably the entire reason for the Fire Department vaccination mandate was about health. If you are not vaccinated, something about your health or other people’s health is an issue. However, if you are an LAFD worker and you do not get the vaccine, you can still work but you must get tested.
If you are non-compliant with the vaccine/testing rule you must get a suspension for five days as punishment for not getting the vaccine or missing a test. However, the County cannot suspend the firefighter because they don’t have staff. So, the vaccine/testing suspension is delayed until they get enough staff to suspend you….. And somewhere, in some bureaucratic office of some knucklehead, this all makes sense.
COVID-19 appears to have created a dissociative condition called cognitive COVID madness. Fewer people are injured by covid related respiratory damage than are injured by covid related brain damage.

Never in all my long life have I ever seen so many people so scared of anything. Never. I don’t even like the people I’ve always liked……they are too afraid of whatever.
Some governments hired psychologists to figure out how to scare people into being compliant. It was definitely reported in the UK, but I suspect it happened in a lot of places.
Well, they were worth the expense if that’s all they wanted. I didn’t think we had that many people who were totally afraid as what we are seeing now. In fact, I’m shocked at the people who live here in the U.S. Embarrassed also. Would never have made this country great if this had happened in the 17 or 18 hundreds…..we wouldn’t have a country.

Same here. Even some of my family members. Went shopping yesterday and about 49% of the shoppers were still wearing masks despite the mandate being gone. Of course they were giving the rest of us the stare down.
I do not think there are more people with fear. The percentage of society that is afraid of something has not changed. What has changed is that they are now mostly afraid of the same thing. It is a directed and focused fear. The manipulators have managed to bring all of the fearful people together under one umbrella.
It works both ways. There are only certain people with courage. When there is a national crisis requiring courage, these people come together and direct their courage against the crisis.
The question about fear and its antithesis of courage is its source. Is it genetic, environmental, or spiritual? That is a much longer discussion for another time, but my vote is on spiritual with a dose of environmental.
If a person doesn’t have G-d in their lives, everything is scary.
If they are attending a covid mandate compliant church trying to make a living, raise a family maintain social contacts and relationships where employer also strongly suggests jabs and social pressure is for jabs, and you are encouraged to do it for the “good of the community” while legacy media is ostracizing the unvaccinated and running up the fear porn, one realizes just how successful Operation Mockingbird has been.
Not sure if I can say I have courage, but do know I’m tough and can do what I have to do mostly. This wicked disease is bad, but hopefully it will be gone soon…..well, till they turn another one lose on the world again….than we just have to fight another day.

In Santa Clara County firefighters on admin leave in some cities and fired in others depending on staffing levels…. tons of hiring of firefighters going on to fill the vacancies and the MOST IMPORTANT thing is ARE THEY FULLY VACCINATED. It’s a joke. I have firefighters retiring early because they thought 2 shots would be enough and they will not get the 3rd because the writing is on the wall that this will never end. The worst thing though are the ones that did cave and didn’t want to so now they want everyone to join the clot shot party.

The overwhelming number of deaths are now from getting the shots. Prior to the shots, most deaths were caused by medical people following / forcing / using the wrong cure, ventilation and remidesivir (sp?), when ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamin cocktails, etc., should have been used. FYI for LA County fired dept. it will not be fast nor easy to replace those that are not in compliance or have left. This particular department requires fire AND paramedic certification. At least they used to and i think it is still a requirement. Paramedic school is not easy.

According to the National Law Review, (online, 2/16/22), “The bill would remain operative until the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention “determines that COVID-19 vaccinations are no longer necessary for the health and safety of individuals, and as of that date is repealed.”
For most CA legislators, businesses are just theoretical constructs to be taxed and regulated.
My current employer is planning to require us to go back to the office to work once a week, sometime next month. We’ll have to wear masks everywhere and get a PCR test regardless of vaccination status….

Simple, quit and do it ASAP. It takes a great deal of training to prepare a firefighter. Even then it takes a probationary period of additional on-the-job training and experience building. They cannot just terminate firefighters.
One thing the government is never short of is bureaucrats.
We used to call these knuckleheads sponges. Because they just soak up money through having to pay them a salary, but that’s about the only thing their useful for.
