Ottawa Police Chief Peter Sloly held a press conference on Friday announcing measures to combat the continued Freedom Convoy protests in the streets, and to block any additional protesting support from arriving. [Full Presser Here] In essence, the Ottawa police are going to use domestic terrorism authority against the Canadian freedom protest groups.
The outlined measures include deploying an additional 150 municipal police officers and undercover federal agents to infiltrate the protest and gather intelligence useful for the purpose of eliminating their effort.
Chief Sloly outlined that federal intelligence authorities will be “collecting financial, digital, vehicle registration, driver identification, insurance status and other related evidence that will be used in prosecution.”
The jackboots will focus on using acts of mischief, hate, harassment, intimidation and other threatening behaviors, whether real or created by Canadian intelligence operations, to target the protestors.
Additionally, a “surge and contain” strategy will be used to isolate the protest in the red zone area in front of Parliament Hill. Ottawa police will use heavy concrete barriers as barricades, to create no-access roadways throughout the downtown core, and they will likely close highway off-ramps and bridges to stop additional support and/or protest groups from arriving.
The goal is to isolate the current protest groups, cut off their supply and support logistics and pick them off.
Further, any police officer who is caught aiding, assisting, supporting, sympathizing with or facilitating the ongoing freedom protest in the city will be removed from duty and subject to arrest. All Ottawa police officers are to regard the protesting group as an unlawful, extremist and hate-filled mob and have a duty to comply with the instructions of the command and control structure. Keep in mind the “Police Chief” is the most political yes man you will find in any Government. He/She is even more political than the people in office above them. And in most PDs they are detested, despised. Many, many POs are in the crowd off duty that is why he doubts loyalty among them.
Whoever makes the most arrests or most effectively agitates the otherwise-civil gathering, will be rewarded with a promotion to lead Trudeau’s SS.
I just got off the phone to Ottawa Police Department.
I identified myself as a 32 year City Police Officer (retired.) here in British Columbia.
I stated my disgust, and asked to be put on their watchlist.

Did the same with the Conservative Head office in Ottawa..

The police officer was terrific.
I briefly shared my experiences with various protests here in our City.
I would not put him on the spot ( taped line.)
But he laughed when I said don’t be smiling at any trucker, or heaven forbid bring them a Tim Hortons.. ( iconic coffee here)
The politicians aide was political but pleasant, he was rocked though when I said our Conservative in our riding has lost our support, and we will be voting PPC, unless the Cons come out firing.( metaphorically speaking.
Here is hoping for the officer hearing the heart of your message, and not putting niceties for your benefit.

Exactly. We Americans were effectively bribed into silent complicity by the false properity delivered to us via the petrodollar (the unearned bounty of the Triffin Dilemma). Now we’re sampling here at home what we allowed to be done in our name overseas for decades. Our derelictions in civic (and moral) duty built the Surveillance-Intelligence-Military Complex. Now it’s turning on us. Maybe Project Mockingbird and other such efforts have stupefied us into permanent spectatorhood. It now may be up to the Dutch, French, Canadians and others to serve as the vanguard of global liberty.
and the unfortunate irony is that the “false prosperity” you mention is the totality of our “too much to lose” that we keep sitting on our hands over. as it slips away, just slowly enough for us to keep thinking we can cower in fear to protect the dwindling remainder….

The logical end point here is a nationwide truckers’ strike. To win the hearts and minds campaign that precedes such an event, it is vital that the truckers and their supporters not only remain peaceful but also on high alert against agents provocateurs that the government will attempt to seed into the crowd. If the government resorts to violence without cause, the government will fall.
It doesn’t matter if the truckers are peaceful or not, they are being portrayed as non-peaceful and that all the totalitarians need to throw you into the dungeon.
A nationwide truckers’ strike is the end game because it results in empty shelves in the grocery stores from BC to Newfoundland. The question is what can we do today to make sure that it is the government that takes the blame, and not the workers? Whoever loses their cool today is the one who will get the lion’s share of the blame later.
Why not just call Slo-Joe, Mister Sloly, and ask him to loan you the Federal Bureau of Intimidation. They know all the tactics you plan to use. Maybe he’ll let you use the D.C. Dungeon too.
The Police Chief said they will collect personal and financial data on everyone attending and supporting the protest. I suspect that includes using FBI-type tactics to track and arrest anyone they want to place under arrest.
His rhetoric was intentional. He painted the protestors as violent hate-filled terrorists. I’m sure many liberal Canadians will believe that they are violent.
His words are intended to escalate the potential for violence. It may not turn out the way he thinks it’s going to turn out.

Let’s not forget that the entire underlying reason for all of this fascism was the theory that the government wanted to keep us safe and healthy because Covid.
Now, in order to keep us safe and healthy, it becomes necessary for them to attack and maybe even kill us with brute force – for our own good.
This is not going to end well for the tyrants.
This is what i keep driving home. If the point of the vaccine is to save lives, then how are they so quick to lock people out of civil society until they starve to death? They are guaranteeing millions will die and suffer, when the virus at worst kills 1%. What’s worse, 1% or 30% dead and suffering??

i know we’re all vehemently advocating for non-violence, but i sure wish they would act to prevent that from happening. I would fight to my last breath to keep my friends and family out of there. and i don’t mean with friggin lawyers and tweets.
Protestors should ring the city with trucks. Truckers: Refuse to deliver food and other necessities into the city. Farmers: ship your crops elsewhere. Block all ingress and egress. Lay down in the streets if necessary. Remain peaceful under all circumstances as Ottawa society collapses. Non-violence will cause them to over-react. Keep in mind, however, Hitler told Lord Halifax in 1937: “Shoot Ghandi”. Time will tell whether a similar mentality rules in Canada.
The gestapo is going to pick off drivers one by one. The only way to stop that is to fight the police from doing it. The totalitarians are leaving only one option if people want to remain free and that isn’t non-violence. They are allowed to be lawless, we aren’t.

Somewhere on the Treehouse today there was a picture of a very recently erected OSB sided “Soup Kitchen” in downtown Ottawa that Truckers were invited to utilize for a nice hot meal.
Wonder if it’s a Trucker Trap erected by Ottawa’s finest?

They have already gathered all the information they need to harass, threaten, intimidate and prosecute the truckers and people supporting the protesters. Something I am sure they never did during 2020/2021 when BLM, BlacBlock, Anti-fa and the like were rioting and looting.
