My wife and I looked after my mother in law at home when she went down with dementia. It was a horrible five years until she mercifully passed away. She did not recognize her own daughter referring to her as “that woman.”

I am seeing the exact same things with Biden that I saw with my late mother in law. He is going down very fast. The drugs they are giving him will only have an effect for so long before he becomes a human cabbage.

The world will not miss this demonic man when he finally stops breathing the air of a once free United States of America. I feel sincerely sorry for anyone who still identifies with the democrat party. They either suffer from a severe cranial malfunction or they are Marxists – communists which is more or less the same thing.

I heard this example few years ago and it made me laugh out loud at first, but after I thought about it for a moment, it made sense.

So…..

You’re driving down a road at 65 mph or more and suddenly a deer jumps out in front of you. You’re going too fast to slam on the brakes because you cannot avoid hitting the deer, but you’re also going too fast to swerve to avoid hitting the deer lest you leave the road and hit a tree, or worse, cause the vehicle to fishtail and roll over–the worst case scenario.

What do you do?

Speed up and hit the deer with greater momentum / inertia to avoid losing control of the vehicle and to catapult the deer away from the vehicle.

The point is that what is unavoidable should not be avoided–it should be hastened and dealt with. The collision with the deer will result in some damage to the vehicle, but the acceleration of the vehicle minimizes the potential for serious injury or death.

We’re at a point in this country where we cannot avoid what we cannot avoid. Call it destiny, fate or whatever. Our country is being destroyed right in front of our eyes–real time. But we do have choices. Like the driver who sees the deer, those choices are not ideal–they’re not even acceptable. But the circumstances have to be dealt with, or circumstances will dictate the outcome.

We’re not voting ourselves out of this dilemma. THAT is the reality.

My mom died after a long decline with Alzheimer’s. She was in a facility that specialized in dementia patients. There were a couple of things that always amazed me. The front door had a buzzer that would be heard at the security station and they would buzz the door. You walked in and the door would shut behind you, but it was not a door. It was a bookshelf hiding a door. Even if the patients saw you walk in, they would not remember that it was a door and would not try to get out. Security people had to let you back out. In the back was a garden surrounded by high fences. There were paths all over the garden and you could not see the building from the paths because of structures and vegetation. There were cameras monitoring all of the paths. The doors to this garden were unlocked. Patients would go outside and think they had escaped. They would go down the paths seeking freedom. All of the paths led back to the door where they went out and they would forget why they left and come back in.

It would be great if a similar system could be built wherever Brandon is told to live. He would not be able to get out but there would be a way for him to get out and think he is doing something. It would keep him and us safe.

The people that are really running things could come out of hiding so that we would know who they are they could take credit for all of the great things they have done. While they are being cheered for their efforts, someone will be taking names and sizes so that we know how many gallows to build and how strong the ropes must be.

I’ve had a pretty good life so far. Lately I’ve had a lot of time to think, maybe too much. Sometimes I ponder about the need to go through hell in order to realize how good you’ve had it. You can’t recognize an ‘up’ without a ‘down’. It is not possible. How would we know what is good without there being evil?

It could be that this administration is showing us exactly what we need to see, if we choose to see it. Except for those irrevocably conditioned to irrational Leftism, more people daily, are experiencing and learning valuable lessons. The truth is escaping. I just don’t know how far and deep the suffering will go before our way of life, our good nature, our sense of right, wrong and fairness recovers, heals and becomes more resilient. We cannot forget the past. Perhaps this massive attack on everything we know to be right and correct, so to speak, is the ‘vaccination’ that will provide us and our culture some ‘immunity’ from this shit happening again for generations to come.
