A study out of Israel is showing the fourth shot, second booster of COVID vaccine, provides no benefit in the prevention of the Omicron variant.
(Reuters) – A fourth shot of COVID-19 vaccine boosts antibodies to even higher levels than the third jab but it is not enough to prevent Omicron infections, according to a preliminary study in Israel.
Israel’s Sheba Medical Center has given second booster shots in a trial among its staff and is studying the effect of the Pfizer booster in 154 people after two weeks and the Moderna booster in 120 people after one week, said Gili Regev-Yochay, director of the Infectious Diseases Unit.

I’m at a complete loss about why anyone would keep arguing for value in the vaccine passport. If vaccinated and unvaccinated equally are susceptible to COVID infection, and the vaccine does nothing of benefit in that encounter, then why in the heck are vaccine passports even considered of value?

If the vaccine can’t prevent infection in at least some people, then it can’t slow down transmission. Furthermore, if it can’t prevent infection, then it can’t prevent the emergence of variants.

However, she then got some side effects after the second jab. She still has those effects, and she is so upset with herself for being so weak as to be coerced into possibly permanently damaging her health. She is scared that there may be long term effects she doesn’t about yet.

But at least she can get into the restaurants with her vaccine card/passport. For now. Because she swears she will never get a booster.
She is, however, upset that she is still subject to the mask mandate. Regardless of vaxx status, everyone here must wear the mask indoors. That was one of the things she was thinking the jab would allow her to be exempt from.

Forget the other stuff. If you want to do a test go to Questdiagnostics; 60 bucks…but, read the disclaimer(s) on the IgG and IgM tests at their web site. Those tests are essentially worthless.
It doesn’t matter anyway. If you test positive, and you in fact have the coof that develops symptoms, then when you recover you will have antibodies. Undisputed, regardless. You won’t be over it in 5 days. More like 10. If it goes to your lungs and causes breathing problems you won’t be back to normal for months. You’ll recover but may not have normal pulmonary function.
You’re best bet is to not tell anyone if you have mild symptoms. Self treat and get rid of it. At this point in time the current estimates are that 85% have immunity. Get naturally acquired immunity. Then, you can laugh at all this neurotic/psychotic bullshit like I do.
Omicron, which is approaching the high 90’s percentage of all new cases now, does not harm the deep lung.

There is no study, it is simply a rumor that has been propagated by hospital staff members and then repeated by MSM. My hospital nurse neighbor mentioned that unvaxxed are sicker than unvaxxed at her hospital. No data, just rumor.
She then asked me my opinion on the booster (her hospital required the original shot). I told her to absolutely NOT get it since it does not work against Omicron in any way. I further told her a few stories of severe adverse effects from the shots with my patients including death, stroke, miscarriage, menstrual disturbances and myocarditis. By the time I finished, she decided not to get a booster.

The reason the pointlessness is the point for authoritarians is that if you comply you establish their power to make you do pointless things. Every person I know who got this thing over the past month or so, has been vaxxed.
Every person I know who’s NOT vaxxed, has not gotten it.
Anecdotal, I know. But still.

The pharmaceutical companies abandoned their original control groups after the experimental drug was released last year. The placebo patients were told or advised to take the jab once it was released. Now some clever and enterprising folks have started a “vaccine control group” of “non-vaccinated” participants. You can even get a nice looking ID card that ought to give pause to any gate keeper at a place requiring jab papers.
