In the 2016 primaries I supported Ted Cruz–I didn’t know what to expect from Trump, thought maybe his running was a publicity stunt to promote his reality TV shows. I was shocked when Trump won, and rather than let Hillary win, I held my nose and voted for him. I was very pleasantly surprised by Trump’s performance as Prez. I proudly voted for him in the 2020 primary election and general election. Based on Cruz’ statements referenced in this article, I would NEVER vote for him again. If he gets the Republican nomination in 2024, I will vote all of the downballot elections, but NOT for president.

After years of being trampled, insulted, degraded, and belittled, after watching 4 years of one attempt after another to overthrow the President, after watching an election be stolen, after hearing that the Constitution will be overthrown along with the Presidency and the election process, after watching our economy be destroyed with the China cold virus as a pretext, the rage of the giant named America was felt in the US Capitol on January 6th.
It was a taste of what can happen when the energy of tens of millions of Americans–witnessing the destruction of their nation–is channeled in one direction.
The only reason it ended was Trump said it should. If he had given the word to proceed, nothing could have stopped them. Nothing.
This was a show of real power, and based on the left’s response, I suspect they are fully aware of what could happen if Americans were lead against the radical left.
Accordingly, the left and their cohorts are now working overtime to shame, beat down, excoriate, vilify, and generally castrate any righteously angry response to their coup against our nation. They can’t have anyone resisting the end of the Constitution. Everyone must comply, put on your mask, and go hide in your house, maybe even under your bed, while the left takes care of the important things. Otherwise, they’re gonna call you names!
