(Via Wall Street Journal) – Government leaders are adjusting recommended quarantine periods to minimize workforce shortages and scrambling to boost testing capacity to limit the spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said Friday that critical workers—including those in education, healthcare, transportation, grocery stores and sanitation—who tested positive for the virus will be allowed to return to work after five days under certain conditions.
[…] Those returning will need to remain masked, Ms. Hochul said. “We need you again, we need you to be able to go to work,” Ms. Hochul added.
New York state’s move comes after the U.K. shortened its quarantine period to seven days for vaccinated people, and some airline executives wrote to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention seeking an adjustment in agency isolation guidelines to avoid disruptions to operations.
On Thursday, the CDC revised its isolation and quarantine guidelines for healthcare workers, partly to help hospitals have enough staff to deal with any rise in admissions due to Omicron.
Under the new CDC guidelines, healthcare workers can go back to work within seven days following a negative test, or potentially even sooner in a staffing crunch. Also, healthcare workers who are fully vaccinated and who got a booster wouldn’t need to quarantine after high-risk exposure to the virus. (read more)

I caught both Covid-19 and Omicron variant. No vaccine for me. Toughed it out. I take a heavy dose of D3 daily(5000 IU) , Vitamin C daily(2000 mg), Zinc when feeling a cold coming on, quinine water (seltzer) and good old Tylenol flu meds when sick. I was over the Covid in about 10 days and the Omicron in 2 days. I never wear a mask. Just wash your hands often and don’t touch your face. For most people it’s just another flu. Don’t get caught up in the Covid fear porn. If you are sick, stay home, get well.
My new weapon just arrived. Iodine nasal and throat spray. They are saying it works wonders.
How do you know you had the Omricon already?
That’s one question I want to ask people who say they’ve had “it” – how do you know it was “it”? Their worthless tests? A “doctor” said it was? But after some experience, I say I hadn’t had a positive test while feeling sick from April 2020 and off and on up until I actually did test positive a couple of weeks ago. The home antigens all matched what I was getting via PCR and when I was positive at home, I was positive with PCR.
Keep testing and you’ll find plenty of positives.

But “scientists say” that COVID in addition to being politically astute and able to distinguish blue from red states, can also time travel. A virtual digital construct “virus” can do anything. NONE of these have been isolated. NONE. That is how some court cases were settled in Canada.
They check the variants by testing a sample from the population to see what is circulating, they don’t check everyone.
Yes, they can be isolated by standard methods. They can even be photographed by cryo-electron microscopes.
Ask a friend/acquaintance who does lab work with viruses, or learn it yourself. It would take years to learn enough to do it 100% yourself, but in a classroom you can do it with help here and there.

I was taught logic in 8th grade and I can tell you that IT IS NOT LOGICAL to push a so-called vaccine THAT DOES NOT WORK, and specifically does not work for the Omicron variant (which is non-lethal) on the public. A long time ago, I worked for a septic system cleaning company. I drove a pump truck out to homes with their own treatment systems, removed the covers and vacuumed out the contents. Invariably, a layer of solid waste had accumulated on the top of the tank and had hardened a bit.
It kind of gave a whole new meaning to the term “upper crust” in my mind.
