President Trump gave an interview to Candace Owens for The Daily Wire. The full interview is only available for subscribers [link]; however, there is a segment released by Mrs. Owens where Donald Trump talks about the specifics of his position on the vaccine and the mandates.
President Trump supports the three vaccines that were developed during his administration, and is proud of the system he put into place to develop them and get them available to the public. However, President Trump does not support mandating the vaccine or forced vaccination for anyone, and believes that people should have the freedom to decide what is in their individual best interests. At approximately 05:10 of the interview, President Trump notes the specific issue of a government mandated vaccine developed by a private corporation, and the risk of corruption and conflicted interests involved. President Trump accepts that reasonable people would be skeptical of the vaccine itself and would have personal reasons not to participate.
Toward the very end of the interview Trump states he is proud of the accomplishment and will not “give up” on his belief of the vaccine development as a success during his administration. However, he sees the forced mandate as very detrimental to the economy and views the consequences of the mandate itself as a problem for national security.
Given the range of opinions on the issue of the vaccines overall, and the mandate specifically, President Trump’s position seems quite pragmatic and reasonable. He’s proud to have developed the vaccines, believes they are of benefit, but strongly respects individual choice, liberty and the freedom to decide for yourself and your family. I don’t see anything controversial in this position.
I believe the shots were a bioweapon conceived in early 2000’s. I also believe Trump is a pragmatist and knows he cannot win in 2024 if he takes a stand that implicates the drug companies in criminal behavior. I think he is staking our a middle course that will not alienate the 60% of people who have been vaccinated (some at his urging). Does he know about the deaths and adverse events? He has to know, but for many the idea of a criminal conspiracy from the upper echelons of our government is a bridge too far and invites the full weight of the pharmaceutical companies and their billions to be used against him. I find this “pragmatism” almost too much to bear knowing what I know, but I also think there are times when it is fool hardy to try to fight a fight you likely will not win. I recall Ronald Reagan believed in the power of alternative medicine and even sought treatment in Germany for 3 weeks (unbeknownst to most Americans) in Germany for cancer at one point in his presidency. Had he made it public Big Pharma would have turned on him. He could not sacrifice his important agenda of defeating the Soviet Union at that time by choosing medical freedom to be the hill to die on. You have to fight strategically. That may be what Trump is doing here, as hard as that is for me to swallow.

I don’t believe this. I live in a blue state and we were all businesses open by late April 2020. I routinely went to the mall, restaurants, amusement parks in a blue state. Our private schools were all open for most of the last 2 years and our public schools were open or closed based on what county you were in.

My opinion about the so called Covid Vaccines is this….I’ve been around for a long time. In fact, President Nixon was my commander-in-chief when I served in the US Army. When I was young, my parents took my sisters and I to the local volunteer fire station to receive the vaccine for Polio. You should know that the vaccine was under development and clinical trials for a number of years before it was deemed effective and safe to administer to both children of all ages as well as to adults. Same holds true for the MMR vaccine, Measles, Mumps and Rubella. However, I had already had the Mumps and the German Measles before that vaccine first came available.
In my lifetime, keeping in mind that President Eisenhower was in the Oval Office when I was born, that there has NEVER been a vaccine developed, that had an EXPERIMENTAL designation, had not gone through the proper clinical trials and peer reviews, that was then forced upon America’s citizens, especially under the so called authority of a Mandate. This is not only wrong, but DANGEROUS. Just a few months ago, the FDA approved the vaccines for use in young children. Keep in mind that the drug companies have clearly stated that they will NOT know the effects of the vaccines on those young children until 2 to 3 years from now. Parents, do you really want your children to be guinea pigs? This is not only irresponsible, but an unconscionable act, possibly even criminal, being committed upon our nation’s children. I can only hope that given the side effects we already know about the vaccines, not just adults, but I’m talking about the blood clots and heart arrhythmia problems in teenagers, that the young children won’t later be diagnosed as being sterile in men, and infertile in women, along with a host of other possible long term side effects.
If you are thinking about getting vaccinated or having your children vaccinated with an EXPERIMENTAL vaccine, and one that YOU HAVE NO RECOURSE against the vaccine manufacturers for liability issues should harmful side effects arise from that Experimental vaccine, at least MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION and BEFORE you get the vaccine. Even in the Pfizer trials, significantly more people died in the vaccine group than in the control group (25 vs. 14). “All cause mortality” has to be one of the most significant criteria and the vaxxes failed this. It is inexcusable that he knows so little about the waning efficacy and debilitating effects of the vaxxes.
