Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber as he was being attacked by a raging mob. Rittenhouse also fired on Gaige Grosskreutz as the attacker held a handgun toward him. Prosecutors attempted to claim that Rittenhouse was a vigilante looking for a fight; however, the defense, and all video of the events, show all shootings were justifiable self defense.
The jury is now in day two of deliberations and has sent questions about reviewing video to the trial judge. [pbs video link below fold] The judge is also expressing frustration and anger with the media’s portrayal of the events in his courtroom. Consider this thread an open discussion for events today as they take place.
Meanwhile outside the courtroom, Black Lives Matter and Antifa groups are pre-positioning riot assets and weapons ready to destroy the city if they do not get a verdict they demand.

Prosecutors like the man running this team are not a one on! Most old cops like me can relay many war stories having to deal with his kind while trying to bring about justice. Took five years to bring a murder suspect to trial due to a prosecutor’s interference from day one. I suspected the case of a missing teenager was in fact murder and had a suspect in mind from day one. The prosecutor’s actions were so out of order I finally had to threaten him with bodily harm and arrest for interfering with my investigation. Even went to the governor to get a special prosecutor appointed and move the trial of the suspect to another jurisdiction. Yes, we were successful in the end, but think we demonstrated that the American criminal justice system’s biggest flaw is the overpowering effects of politics with far two many self-serving, witless, corrupt, incompetent politicians and bureaucrats contaminating the system!

The jury had 31 pages of instructions. I am praying that they are doing their due diligence.
Good grief, no wonder it is taking so long. No doubt it took hours to translate to laymen terms 31 pages of legal jargon, and then for them all to understand and agree to what it means.
Uncivil Law on youtube went through the instructions on a livestream. It took him over an hour to go through them. Can you imagine twelve people going through them when they have to be unanimous on ALL?

I missed this day. At several places during this bozo’s testimony there were comments on handling a gun in court. Binger needs to be charged w/something or another.
Wow, learned so much. Just finished watched 2 hours worth of an interview with criminal attorney Rbt. Barnes. He was the attorney for Kyle until one week before the trial began.
He had worked since Feb for free, funding his work himself, and was interested in doing the jury selection aspect of the trial. Had Rich Baris as his pollster (Maga folks know how great Baris is) and had assembled data people along with Rich.
He explained how he had practically banged his head against the wall trying to convince Kyle’s lead guy that they had done so much research on the town of Kenosha, studied the demos deeply, that they KNEw the key to it all was jury selection. He does a great job talking about the town and its make up.
The lead guy, at the last minute said “No” to all that. He is/was naive and totally out of his league. Just like the judge in this case, it seems the local lawyers just didn’t understand the public opinion in this country and IN THE MEdiA was against Kyle. They felt the facts were so persuasive, the video evidence so persuasive that they just couldn’t understand there are people with biases so deep that at least 1/3 of people, even when they claim they can ignore their biases, DON’t.
Barnes tried to explain that his team had prepared the right questions to ask these folks and that for Kyle’s sake, there needed to be someone to dig deep in questioning these folks, esp. ones from certain demographics. Kyle’s attorney nixed it at the last minute and then that guy who is going around calling himself “spokesman for Kyle” is not a lawyer, has shady dealings with Puerto Rico, and has no skillset. He has control of all the money raised for Kyle. The family has to go to him for dollars to run their household. Oh, wow, a mess.
He said there are 3-4 women on the jury that are the suspected holdouts. He fears one of them is a retired college professor who comes from very old Kenosha stock, generations worth and views herself as above all the blue collar folks, in other words. Her motive is not that she fears that riots will break out if Kyle is acquitted, but rather that her social class and political outlook looks unfavorably upon working class folks like Kyle and his mother.
They know the backgrounds of all the jurors and he said these are just the type of jurors who would have been rejected.

I am confused about a few things:
1) A version of the drone video was in possession of KR’s original defense attorney (Pearce?) and was played on Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Was that an HD version? If so how can it be said that the defense was not given the HD version of the drone video? When they switched attorney’s was it the job of the prosecutors to give all evidence it had provided to the original attorneys to the new team?
If not and the video given to original defense team was in HD then it seems the defense had a copy of the HD version of the drone video all along. Why are they claiming the opposite? What am I missing? If the defense received the HD version from the previous attorney how did they get caught so flat-footed with this low-definition video?
2) Why is this drone video given so much importance? Even with the HD version you cannot see the initial confrontation between KR and Ziminski.
Fortunately a VERY CLEAR video of the encounter was taken FROM THE GROUND within a few feet of the men and can be seen here at this link
At 7:30 in the video we can see a much taller Ziminski confront KR. Ziminski’s girlfriend is motioning towards KR. At no point in this video is KR seen to provoke Ziminski – just the opposite! We can see KR take-flight away from Ziminski – did Ziminski brandish his handgun?
A few seconds later we see a gun flash as Ziminski fired into the air as KR is being chased by Rosenblum. Ziminski fired the FIRST gunshot not KR!
This one video proves that KR did not provoke Ziminski – You cannot watch this very clear video and think that KR provoked Ziminski (was this covered when KR was on the stand by Richards?).
What about the FBI IR HD video (I suspect taken from a fixed wing platform – not a drone) What does the FBI HD video show? These infrared camera systems provide incredible detail as can be seen from this product video from leading EO/IR digital imaging supplier WESCAM

3/ why did the judge allow the prosecution to show the drone video to the jury? Neither the HD or low-def version’s of the video show in any meaningful detail what happened between KR and Ziminski. For that – as already noted – we have this very detailed video taken at ground level.

Ziminski was certainly interviewed by the police. Did he ever claim Kyle pointed his gun at him before this trial? Can’t ask him now, he would lie.
If he never made the claim last yr, I think that answers any questions about this allegation
Good point! Why didn’t the defense get transcripts/recordings of the police interview of Ziminski? If he submitted to a police interview (not sure he did) that would have been admissible in court even if Ziminski is not pleading the fifth.
I thought they were asking for mistrial WITH PREJUDICE, meaning Kyle could not be retried.

I did not follow it closely but early on, Lin Wood set up a sizable legal defense fund and team for Kyle. Lin Wood is not a criminal defense attorney but knows better than anyone the depth of deception, filth and corruption in the media/government machine. Importantly, the media would have stayed clear of smearing Kyle, knowing that Wood was coming after them.
Somewhere along the line that team was replaced with the current one.
When did it become legal for an interest group to be able to demand a jury verdict? BLM should be met with armed law enforcement.

This would be an excellent flashpoint for another one of the FBI’s false flag jobs. The Democrats desperately need something to run on or they know they are toast and their crimes may be the subject of committee hearings in 2023.
