Oregon Governor Kate Brown recently dropped all reading, writing and math proficiency standards for high school graduation, because she claimed it was unfair to “people of color” for them to have to pass tests in order to graduate {Go Deep}. Expecting black, brown and latino students to comprehend math and write in coherent sentences is racist – or so goes the policy. Governor Brown also mandated that masks continue be worn indoors and outside regardless of vaccine status (link).
Historically, there has been a solid argument that leftism is a mental disorder; at least the vast majority of those who espouse leftist worldviews do -indeed- appear to have some cognitive impairment the vast majority of non-leftist people do not relate to. Slowly, as the years have progressed, it is now entirely possible to look at a person and predict their political persuasion.

I clearly remember all the 1960’s-1970’s era cries (from women) about how government would become more stable and humane etc., with (more women) in it. How the presence of (more women) would temper the violence etc., etc., etc. that men create.

I agree with you to a degree. In my opinion, I think women are more influenced by emotion than men. Women have an innate drive to nurture that can and does easily transform to becoming enablers of poor behavior. They possibly may be more influenced by the outward trappings of civility over what lies below the surface.
That is not to say anything about intelligence or determination but simply about influences.
It would be interesting to see if any studies have been done by anthropologists as well as current social scientists to determine if my opinions have any basis.

When the man was head of the household and the family unit was united and a tight bond the family was of one mind, the man voted for the family benefit. It is much like the electoral college. Once women got the ability to vote as a separate and distinct entity, families began to separate and take sides on issues. Womans’ Suffrage was a bad thing and worse today. One more thing that is commonly viewed as a benefit to (working) women is daycare for very young children. Supposedly women can work outside the home and help contribute to the family welfare. What the true purpose of daycare and head start programs is to separate very young children from the parental guidance, nurturing, and direct influence and hand off the responsibility to the Statist. I believe that about 70% of a person’s basic personality is formed from birth to about age seven. These are crucial years of development that in our times is controlled by strangers of dubious honor.
