Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Where are all the transitional life forms in the fossil records?
? ? ?
You ask the right question, but the Darwinians have no coherent answer, much less any evidence.
There’s overwhelming evidence of transitional life forms in fossil records found within layers of rock.
Layers of rock records time and captures fossils. Find two similar fossils separated by large variance in layers and one can predict what layer the transitional fossil is.
Further evidence for evolution is found in biology as well. Microbes evolving to overcome antibiotics. Human Vestigial features including Palmar Grasp Reflex, tail bone in humans, wisdom teeth, appendix, and tonsils. Animal vestiges include hind legs in whales, flightless birds with wings.
Evidence for evolution is not a hammer to bludgeon ones faith but to add to the wonder in how humans and animals developed through time.
If one looks for evidence, suggest reading Why Evolution is True by Jerry Coyne.
With all due respect to your opinion, the microbes don’t evolve to avoid antibiotics, they adapt. At the end of this process you have the same microbe that is resistant to a particular antibiotic, or two, or ten, but you don’t have a new species.
That very adaptation you speak of is an example of Natural Selection.
You still don’t have a new species at the end.
The fossil record if full of extinct species who’s ecological niche has been filled by another species that usually is of the same family or at least genus.
The way I look at it. If I were God, would I design a system that requires my constant attention and decisions on adjustment down to the finest detail? Or would I design a system which is self correcting and self sustaining to a large extent? What makes sense to you?
I believe that evolution has and does occur and the very fact it does is a miracle and evidence of Gods hand on the wheel. I also believe God can step in at any time to change the course any natural process or event that he has put in place as he so desires.
As far as constant attention:
Matthew 10:29-30 — “Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. And even the hairs of your head are all numbered.”
So, in your view, every rain drop or snow flake that falls is directed by God. Every action or reaction of every living thing and every inanimate object is directed hands on by God. I disagree.
That being said, unlike many, I am not saying my view is correct. It is just my own opinion based upon my experience, knowledge, and observations, of the natural world. I will say God is the creator of all we observe and cannot or have not observed and all powerful and can intervene in anything at anytime, but in my view, he does only when he chooses to do so. That is the way I see things.
Does that make me less a Christian than you? Less faithful than you? I think not.
So Mathew is wrong, and you are right. I disagree. I do not see evidence in what you write that you have experienced the face to face meeting of the Savior. It is life Altering. He informs you through your spiritual being with knowledge you can gain in no other way. Study deeply the book of John. It was written so that you can believe.
I do not say this to demean you, but to help you…it is up to you whether you choose God’s way, or you way.
I believe I am choosing Gods way and will reject as a false prophet anyone that believes that they have all the answers and their interpretation is THE only way to believe. I don’t really care what you say anymore based upon what you have written here. Bye.
Matthew was not God. He was wrong on many occassions because he was a human. Being saved and being filled with the Holy Spirit does not grant you super human powers in every aspect of your life.
God does NOT think like we do…..and You are NOT God, and if you were, you logic would have designed something that would not have worked.
I don’t claim to KNOW how God thinks. You are however.
Which produces a specimen of that species that has developed a defense to an environmental change.
So did God change it or did the change occur by natural selection? I say the later.
Natural selection can be replicated in the laboratory. When breeders select the traits of a German Shepherd and other breeders select the traits of a Dachshund, neither added to the parent DNA, they both subtracted. No less an authority that Trivial Pursuit says that in agriculture, commercially grown crops have lost an average of over 90% of their original DNA. That is why some organizations have gone to great lengths to preserve seeds of older original varieties. As for the alleged fossil record, the assumption that uniform consecutive sedimentary layers were laid down over eons and not months strains credulity. It also denies the historical record of the flood.
God tells us that because he attends to each and every star in the heavens, going so far as to name them, not one of them is missing. If we send a machine to Mars and scratch a rock to see what is inside, is it possible God doesn’t already know? He says he knows my thoughts before I do. Is there a computer chip on earth whose exact contents God is unaware of? Can a scientist examine something with an electron microscope and see something God doesn’t see? The One whose understanding and power is infinite is not limited by any finite constraints. There are a finite number of atoms in God’s universe, and he knows them all. That he also created what we call natural laws is important for us so we can use and enjoy the creation God made for our benefit. On the other hand, when he tells molecules of water to become wine, something impossible for us to do, the water obeys.
Regarding the loss of information, the law of entropy appears to loom large in creation. While there can be mutations and such (which may seem to relate to the law of entropy), robust evidence of where truly new information created beyond what was already present appears to remain elusive.
Thought this article contained interesting takes as far as supposed vestigial attributions:
https://answersingenesis.org/evidence-for-creation/human-embryonic-development/
“What about the “tail”? Some of you have heard that man has a “tail bone” (also called the sacrum and coccyx), and that the only reason we have it is to remind us that our ancestors had tails. You can test this idea yourself, although I don’t recommend it. If you think the “tail bone” is useless, fall down the stairs and land on it. (Some of you may have actually done that—unintentionally, I’m sure!) What happens? You can’t stand up; you can’t sit down; you can’t lie down; you can’t roll over. You can hardly move without pain. In one sense, the sacrum and coccyx are among the most important bones in the whole body. They form a crucial point of muscle attachment required for our distinctive upright posture (and also for defecation, but I’ll say no more about that).
“So again, far from being a useless evolutionary leftover, the “tail bone” is quite important in human development. True, the end of the spine sticks out noticeably in a one-month embryo, but that’s because muscles and limbs don’t develop until stimulated by the spine (Figure 8). As the legs develop, they surround and envelop the “tail bone,” and it ends up inside the body.
“Once in a great while there are reports of a child born with a “tail.” Since the parents were quite pleased, one such child born recently in India was featured prominently on TV news in 2005. But was it really a tail? No, it’s just a bit of skin and fat that tells us, not about evolution, but about how our nervous systems develop. The nervous system starts stretched out open on the back. During development, it rises up in ridges and rolls shut. It starts to “zipper” shut in the middle first, then it zippers toward either end. Sometimes it doesn’t go far enough down, and that produces a serious defect called spina bifida. Sometimes it rolls a little too far. Then the baby will be born, not with a tail, but with a fatty tumor. It’s just skin and a little fatty tissue, so the doctor can just cut it off. It’s not at all like the tail of a cat, dog, or monkey that has muscle, bones, and nerve, so cutting it off is not complicated. (So far as I know, no one claims that proves we evolved from an animal with a fatty tumor at the end of its spine.)”
Excellent reply,,thank you…..I infact did injure my tail bone, and it was as you described.
All you mentioned can be adequately explained by “Adaptation”
They are there. But they are transitional only in the sense that a particular life form transitions to adaptations to survive differing environmental conditions.
There is no transition to a different species.
There should be hundreds, thousands, millions?
It seems to me we would have hundreds of millions of transitional life forms in the fossil record IF evolution occurred over eons of eons.
I’ll stick with Scripture.
Thinking of “today”, thinking of “now”:
2 Cor. 6:2 (cf. Isaiah 49:8)
“For He says: “In the acceptable time I listened to you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the time of favor; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Isaiah 55:6-7
“Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and He will have mercy on them, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”
Hebrews 3:15a (cf. Psalms 95:7-8)
“As it has been said: “If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts…”
Revelation 22:17 (cf. Isaiah 55:1)
“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely.”
—
Thinking of why:
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Romans 5:8
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
John 5:24
“Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.”
—
Thinking of how:
Luke 18:13
“And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’”
James 4:8a
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”
John 6:28-29
“Therefore they said to Him, “What must we do, that we may be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you should believe in Him whom He has sent.””
Mark 9:24b
“‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.'”
Acts 16:30-31
“Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.””

I just spent an bouncing off I’m An Old Cowhand to spending an hour watching a hometown tribute to the late Jimmy Capps, whom I’d never heard of.
Thanks Garrison, thoroughly enjoyed it all.

This is the pleasant down home interview referenced above (sorry for the sleepy typos).
The bass fiddle player in that excellent group really illustrates the old phrase,”slap that bass.”
I have had a terrible year and been absent alot on the forum, guess its just a sign of my aging hands not being nimble enuf. Therefore, I need a little help sometimes.
So I turn to music and would love for you to know the special something I lean on during this time. Therefore here is my special gift for your time of need:

LUCY AND HER BABIES Part 5
Lucy’s next batch of kittens was much the same as the first, except the kitty nest was in the living room from the start and her family knew attendance was mandatory. Again, after good homes were found for the babies, Lucy enjoyed a nap to celebrate her kittens’ graduation.
Lucy was a small cat, and this second litter seemed to have taken something out of her. So we figured she needed a rest and took her to be spayed. Good thing, as we were probably running out of friends who wanted kittens.
Even after that, Lucy was protective of the cats who dropped in, especially the younger ones. She was still a good mom. One day we were outdoors when our neighbors walked by with their extra-large samoyed, Alex. As we were talking, the dog started to make friends with a half-grown cat who had come to stay with us. Lucy rushed over with hisses, growls, and an unlanded swipe toward Alex’s nose. One that landed would probably have been next. Now Alex could have made a single bite of Lucy. But of course, he understood the situation immediately, so he simply turned his attention elsewhere. Noblesse oblige.
To be continued …
A very lovely and very short hymn. It is sung here acapella in four parts by Michael Eldridge.
CHRIST WE DO ALL ADORE THEE
Christ we do all adore Thee,
And we do praise Thee forever.
Christ we do all adore Thee,
And we do praise Thee forever.
For on Thy holy cross hast Thou
The world from sin redeemed.
Christ we do all adore Thee,
And we do praise Thee forever.
Christ we do all adore Thee.
. . . but deliver us from the Evil One.
Amen ?

Truckers Report:
Mornin all.
Sunday called at about 09:30 to come in a do Nestle’s shuttles. Go to the Nestles terminal, hook to a loaded refer, take it the 60 miles to the Interstate warehouse in Franklin, IN south of Indy just off I-65.
At Franklin, put the trailer in a door and drop it then hook to an empty that is in a door and bring it back to Anderson. Fuel the refer and then clean it out if needed. We have a place right by the dumpsters behind the garage where one pulls up. There is a leaf blower the with a long extension cord, brooms and dustpans, and rolling stairs and that is where we clean them.
Once ready, slide the tandems to the rear, start of up the refer unit and make sure it’s set on 34 deg. F, and take to Nestles to drop it in a gravel lot that has space for about 50 or 60 empty trailers. Drop the trailer and turn off the refer.
Then go find the next trailer to go. The information of what trailers to pull is sent on the Samsara and the guards at the gate at Nestles have the Bill of Lading.
Three times I did that. This is the time of year when Nestles is busiest as food warehouses/grocery Distribution Centers, stock up for the Holidays. Speaking of which, my wife got the 24 pound turkey she will prepare, and I will carve, for Thanksgiving. Meijer’s has them on sale for 33 cents a pound and there was no apparent shortage of them or anything else she needed for the Thanksgiving dinner we will have at Dads with the rest of the family.
Monday no call except Josh telling me that I was to depart of 03:00 for a run to the Toyota service parts center in KC, MO.
Everything went fine until I arrived that the warehouse. Once again there was a Carter truck just pulling the empty trailer out of the door. And once again the dock workers were going to lunch. So once again I sat for 1 1/2 hour waiting.
This time my backhaul was up at St. Joseph. Over 40,000 lb. of new, dry car batteries. That place is slow getting you in a door and by the time I was loaded I was over my 14 hour maximum allowable duty time. I ran to the Loves truck stop just a mile away and got in parked having been on duty 15.2 hours. Logged that bit of drive time to get to the truck stop as “Safe Haven”.
The only redeeming thing about that backhaul is that one takes US 36 east to I-72 to I-74 to get back home and thus misses St. Louis and encounters a lot less traffic.
Back at my terminal at 13:00 or so with trailer dropped and truck fueled serviced and parked I went in to talk to some people I haven’t had a chance to see for some time and learned what was going on.
Next morning at 08:00 I departed for Canton, MS (about 15 miles north of Jackson on I-55). This one requires a lot of hustle and time management to get it done legally. About 688 miles one way. To give you an idea how tight this one is, 11 hours of driving at an average speed of 65 mph = 715 mi. Then one has to go drop the trailer and get the back haul and leave the Nissan Logistics Center before parking to take their break. And finding a place to park legally is not exactly easy down there.
I ran through some pretty hard rain but drove out of it when I took I-57 south off of I-70 at Effingham, IL. Once I got down to I-55 in SE MO, and NE AR, I was bucking a quartering wind coming out of the SSW. That portion of I-55 runs through miles and miles of farm fields where the primarily grow cotton and rice. The cotton harvest is still one with some fields yet to be picked. This time of year portions of I-55 will be lined with little white cotton balls along the edge of the interstate where the paves shoulders meets the grass. Stuff blown out of the big round bales as they haul the cotton to the mills. Those same fields allow the wind to really get strong at times along that stretch of road.
With my 66 1/2 mph truck I arrived at the gate of the Logistics Center with 16 minutes of drive time, having gone through Memphis on I-55 during the afternoon rush. To drop the trailer in row E slot 6 I idled with my clock “on duty not driving” keeping the truck under 5 mph so the e-log didn’t switch to driving. Having so little drive time remaining and with parking for a 10 hour break in the area at a premium, I opted to not pickup my backhaul trailer until the next day. This is a gamble because it it is first come first serve for the backhauls and there are several other Carter drivers doing runs down there. If one finds out there is no load available for backhaul they either wait for one or go try to find an empty, and empties are hard to come by right now.
So I bobtailed out of the Logistic Center to my favorite parking spot which is a little cul-de-sac near the main truck entrance to the manufacturing facilities and found a spot.
Next morning I drove back to the Logistic Center and went on “on duty not driving” once again and idled down to the desk where they have the paperwork for backhauls and got the last one for my Company. Signed the Bills, left one copy in the outbound pouch and took the other two. Then idled around to find trailer 512380H Found it in row H. Hooked, did the pre-trip, and took the gate pass out of the back of the trailer, then idled back to the gate. There I presented the gate pass to the guard, opened a trailer door so he could peer inside and closed it and got in the truck and headed home.
Due to a backup in Indianapolis on I-465 I went over my drive time getting back to Anderson by 12 minutes. That is all it takes on that run to make you run over your 11 hour drive time. Nothing I can do about it because I sure as hell ain’t stopping and taking a 10 hour break when I’m only 30 miles from home.
When I parked the truck last night I had only 8 hours left on my 70 hour duty cycle clock. So I earned my salary this week and the day of OT pay.
Looks like I will never be driving into Canada again. Come January one has to have proof of “vaccination” to cross the border. Doesn’t break my heart one little bit. I didn’t leave anything up there.
Rah, what happens when you go over your drive time? Is it the same (penalty?) whether it’s 12 min or, say, three hours?
We also took advantage of a few $0.33/# turkeys at meijer!
If a DOT officer inspects and finds that you have gone over your time you can be ticketed and shut down until you have completed a 10 hour break. They can go back 8 days in your logs without a warrant.
If, lets say, your involved in an accident when going over on your log, you can be held legally liable even if it was not your fault! The reasoning being that you should never have been there! If there are serious injuries or a fatality involved in such an accident the driver can go to prison and be held liable in civil proceedings also. Serious stuff, so one damned well better be driving very defensibly if they are over on their driving time which of course is counter to what a persons natural tendency is in such circumstances because they are in a hurry.
One driver in our company went over his driving hours. He stopped and took his break in an abandoned store parking lot near the corner of an intersection. He woke when a car slammed into his parked rig. There was an accident in the intersection driving one ladies car over the grass an curb an into his parked truck. He was found liable for some of the damage an injuries to the female driver of that car because he would not have been there had he not gone over on his driving time.
Concerning potential fines. That is somewhat up to the discretion of the officer. If a driver has put down “safe haven”, like I did for the 1 mile run from where I was held up in the door to a safe parking place there is a fair chance the officer will let you slide. However in the second instance in a week as I did this week, I have no doubt I would have been ticketed had I been caught.
The company I drive for has a very good safety score. csa scores chart – Search (bing.com)
The two most common driver violations in trucking are failure to wear a seat belt and Time of Service violations.
It is not only the driver that is scored, it is the company. High CSA scores result in increased inspections for the truckers of that company and higher insurance rates for the company. If a company’s scores are consistently too high they can be shutdown completely either by the law of because no Insurance company will insure them.
It is not just on the road inspections a company has to be concerned about. DOT can come in with a warrant and audit the records of all the drivers, is they so desire. I think the company or their e-log service are required to maintain the records for at least 6 months.
Wow, that was all very interesting! Thanks for explaining!
I assume you can do “on duty not driving” if in a freeway back-up?
You can but your not supposed to. In reality anything that advances the load is supposed to be on the drive line.
The reality is that the legal deck is stacked against the commercial driver. The reason being we are considered “professional drivers” they say. I guess that means all of you out there driving that don’t have a CDL are considered amateur drivers under the law. In the event of an accident the bias is always against the commercial driver unless evidence can be produced that he/she was not at fault and the crash was unavoidable. That is why so many companies, including the one I drive for, now have dash cams and driver cams. And those cameras are clearing a lot of drivers that would have been found at fault before they came into use.
wow, so if you’re stuck in traffic, you run a high risk of going over your time.
all very interesting.
thanks for all that you do!
There is an exception for unusual circumstances or weather but we have to get permission from our safety department to use that exception. There is another exception that can extend your duty clock to 16 hours but it only for the use of drivers doing a dedicated run and that driver must have done that run for five consecutive days before using it.
Because it isn’t Veterans Day.

FAITH AND EXPERIENCE
“The Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” Gal. ii. 20
We have to battle through our moods into absolute devotion to the Lord Jesus, to get out of the hole-and-corner business of our experience into abandoned devotion to Him. Think Who the New Testament says that Jesus Christ is, and then think of the despicable meanness of the miserable faith we have – I haven’t had this and that experience! Think what faith in Jesus Christ claims – that He can present us faultless before the throne of God, unutterably pure, absolutely rectified and profoundly justified. Stand in implicit adoring faith in Him, HE is made unto us “wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.” How can we talk of making a sacrifice for the Son of God! Our salvation is from hell and perdition, and then we talk about making sacrifices!
We have to get out into faith in Jesus Christ continually; not a prayer meeting Jesus Christ, nor a book Jesus Christ, but the New Testament Jesus Christ, Who is God Incarnate, and Who ought to strike us to His feet as dead. Our faith must be in the One from Whom our experience springs. Jesus Christ wants our absolute abandon of devotion to Himself. We never can EXPERIENCE Jesus Christ, nor ever hold Him within the compass of our own hearts, but our faith must be built in strong emphatic confidence in Him.
It is along this line that we see the rugged impatience of the Holy Ghost against unbelief. All our fears are wicked, and we fear because we will not nourish ourselves in our faith. How can anyone who is identified with Jesus Christ suffer from doubt or fear! It ought to be an absolute paean of perfectly irrepressible, triumphant belief.

Ok, I have to admit it. I have had crush on her from the first day I saw one of her music videos.
There is the Cult of Covid-19, which consists of the biden feds / medical organizations / media …… aka, the “covid gangsters”
……. and then there are the Americans under the influence of the …….
“The Stockholm Syndrome, 2021 USA version”.
These vaccinated Americans are the hostages to the PsyOps of the past two years created by the “covid gangsters” who are holding them hostage with threats of shutdowns, mandates and vac passes.
These Americans need to break out from underneath the evil spell of the “covid gangsters”. The sooner the better for them and America and especially America’s children who have been targeted by the “covid gangsters.”
Can someone please tell me: How do I post a photo?
Thanks for your help.
First, and foremost…
The photo must reside on the internet, I use Imgur.com to upload.
and/or you copy the url (the http address), choose to right click photo or address bar and do a Ctrl+C, sometimes a menu might appear and select Copy.
Then you come to the site here and select a box just like you did for this post…
At this point you want to paste (that would be Ctrl+P or a right click will provide a menu) Select Paste and continue on.
Most of the time you will have to experiment and the worst horror you can do to this site is post a HUGE graphic. So try to make sure the photo ranges around max 600 pixels, but the best one is 400 pixels in both height and length.
Alternative is to learn html, best of luck to you in posting 🙂
Thank you SO much for your kind and helpful response!
The family across from me have two pet Turkeys. They are not white but naturally colored. They are funny to watch and will follow any human around. Curious birds wanting human contact. Their names are Thanksgiving and Christmas, but they will not see the chopping block.
.
The boy across the street which is in HS plays with them along with the 1/2 dozen chickens they have. He’ll run across the yard and the Turkeys and Chickens will run after him and then he will run back the other direction and they follow after him. Funny to watch.
Unfortunately, they have lost several chickens to coyotes when they let the birds run free out of the coup. The predator has been sneaking in from the farm field and then darting out and grabbing a chicken on the fly and then running back into the field. Once that corn behind their house is harvested the coyotes will have lost their concealment and such attacks should end. But until then when ever the birds are out someone is with them watching them.
Not sure what state you’re in, but it’s a varmint and you can usually get a hunting permit for that. And in most states, coyotes are open season year round. The pelts are worth selling. so, go get ’em.
Indiana, and yes we can go after them year round with permission of the landowner. They used to have a bounty on them but I don’t think that is in effect anymore.
Personally I will not hunt, trap, or poison them. We need them to keep the rat and mouse populations and other such critters under control.
This means however that at night when we let our cocker out on her lead we have to keep watch.

lilbirdee12’s prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and his family as they seek to lead America back to You. Also, we pray for Angels to protect and support our Sundance as he works for justice and peace.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
