California Gov. Gavin Newsom skipped the Glasgow climate summit and attended the wedding of billionaire heiress Ivy Getty last weekend instead, according to a glowing Vogue magazine on the elaborate, lavish affair in San Francisco.
Speculation had surrounded Newsom’s disappearance since Oct. 27, when he received a coronavirus vaccine booster shot. Despite announcing his plans to attend the summit on climate change — a key issue for Newsom — he canceled, suddenly.
Newsom’s office cited “family obligations,” but said nothing more; his wife, California First Lady Jennifer Seibel
Newsom, suggested in a now-deleted tweet that her husband may have been “just in the office working” or spending time with his kids.
It now appears the “family obligations” involved the Getty family, the oil dynasty to which Newsom has close family ties.

I unfortunately did the Moderna double jab earlier this year….results…random pain in legs initially…seem to have tapered off….and my chest has this odd sensation like I swallowed an altoid (this appeared days after the first jab and hasn’t gone away). While I have historically had mild hypertension and treat it, last night I was in the ER with a 180+/120+ hypertensive crisis. Since the jabs…my BP has begun to skyrocket. Ekg results show many changes, none of them good, to heart function since last one done in 2018 where my heart was cleared as healthy. I am six months out from the jab….have seen three friends/acquaintences die of heart attacks, and another die of aortic aneurysm (which can be triggered by high blood pressure issues)….I believe Dr. Malone has stated he has had a hypertension issue since taking the Moderna jabs….needless to say, I think I will be spending some time with a cardiologist over the next several months. By the way, the ERs are a mess….six hour waits…minimum. I inquired why and 1) people have quit and they can’t replace them, 2) transitional care facilities have had staff quit…forcing elderly to remain in hospital beds because they have nowhere to go. Over half the ER beds at the hospital I was at were not for ER patients.

I got depressed listening to Bannon’s show today. He had on the MAGA candidate for AK Senate. She’s been endorsed by the AK Republican Party.

In it he shows simple picture of how a virus enters the cell, what is an inhibitor, and then goes into a lot of scientific data, ( he shows the sources) done by the British scientific community, showing Ivermectin has a high binding/clogging effect.
These studies were done in 2020, they have known this info for a long time now. And yet the new Pfizer pill that is going to now be touted as the new wonder drug, only blocks one avenue of the virus ability to enter a cell, whereas Ivermectin has 6 different attributes listed.
Oh yeah, Ivermectin sells for $0.06 on the world health site. Think the Pfizer pill is about $700.00?

This topic is a minefield with legal eagles each providing cases which support their opposing stands. For example, here’s an early court case which disputes your premise above and says that a person born in the US to two foreign nationals, regardless of their status, is a natural born citizen.
“Lynch v. Clarke, a New York court held in 1844 that Julia Lynch, born to Irish aliens while they were temporarily sojourning in New York, was a U.S. citizen. In determining the appropriate national law to apply, the Lynch court looked to the traditional English common law doctrine of jus soli, holding that by the “law of the United States, every person born within the dominions and allegiance of the United States, whatever were the situation of his parents, is a natural born citizen.”
(These birthright citizenship principles were not extended to slaves, or generally to Native Americans.)
Other arguments include whether the parents were subject to US jurisdiction when the child was born in the US (were not diplomats, for ex.). If so, the child is a natural born citizen.
I’m not saying what should be, just pointing out that there is tons of disagreement over this and I’m not sure it will ever be resolved because its become a political issue.

In 169 US 649, this issue has to do with an “exception” to the standard citizenship rules that applied to whites. Slaves, Am. Indians, Chinese immigrants and their US born children, were denied the citizenship rights that came to others born in the US.

The US gov’t was trying to deny this guy’s US citizenship and natural born status because he was of Chinese ancestry (although born and lived in US his entire life) during a time when the “Chinese Exclusion Act” was in place.

I don’t remember what person led me down the wrong path. I thought it was from reading about what COVID was and what the fatality rates were that got me to thinking it was just another flu but maybe a bit worse for older/co-morbid people.
I had no opinion at all on the vaxx until I started reading about how they worked and how they didn’t actually immunize which made me wonder why the heck would I bother if it doesn’t actually help? And then I started reading about spike proteins and what they did.
