The professional Marxists are coming up against the reality of their minority position worldview. Earlier today the Democrat Governor’s Association (DGA) informed the political club insiders the DGA are not going to fund any candidate attempting to unseat Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. {LINK} The underlying message from the democrat apparatus is clear, attempting to win a large race in the increasingly free state of Florida is futile.
Meanwhile Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has scored two big wins for freedom with court cases affirming the state position that parental choice in the school mask option is legal and safe. {LINK} School districts in blue regions are being forced to reverse their effort to force students to wear masks. DeSantis and the Florida legislature have won that battle with support from reasonable science and factual medical research.
At the same time Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody has filed a petition for review of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandatory vaccine rule within the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta. {LINK} This fulfills a promise by Governor DeSantis to trigger a direct fight against the Biden administration on the issue of mandatory vaccinations. This effort, also taking place in other circuit courts around the nation, has obvious implications.
Amid the larger fight for freedom, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke Friday at the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) and used this ppportunity to tout his record and blast Democrats and the Biden administration. WATCH:
.
Governor DeSantis is doing well on a state level, with the issues of freedom, liberty and constitutional constraints of government. He is doing a lot correctly.
However, there is no indication -yet- that he would be willing or able to confront the issue of toxic globalism on a national scale with strength to advance the issues of economic nationalism that underpin the biggest freedom issue for Making America Great Again. On the big picture issue of Wall Street -vs- Main Street, the direct confrontation of multinational corporations to support the American middle-class, DeSantis has yet to take a public position.
Florida man seems to have the right instincts on the issues, so I’d trust him carrying on the MAGA agenda.
We trusted Trump and the 1/6ers rot while he starts a social media site. Did he even start it? Wastes a whole year on that instead of doing ANYTHING for the people…
Screw your nonsense. Republican politicians, except for a very, very few, DO NOT SUPPORT Pres. Trump. They do not support America First. They support the Democrats’ NWO & Green New Deal.
If they didn’t, they’d stop the nonsense & do something that puts America First & communism last, wouldn’t they? They wouldn’t vote for an “infrastructure” bill that gives illegals amnesty, would they?
McConnell & McCarthy want this. They designate who votes for communism on every single bill & who doesn’t. If they didn’t they wouldn’t let Republicans cave on every single bill.
McConnell & McCarthy are NOT Trump supporters. They mouth the words, but it is & always has been America Last. They just proved it again with the nonsensical infrastructure bill.
I don’t trust anybody at this point. We need a new party. 13 Republicans went along with this communist bill? I am done! We need an armed rebellion!
A new party will help Dem more than anyone else. The grassroots is already taking over large swaths of the GOP. Fight for something tangible rather than giving the Dems what they want: a split Right.
Second, an armed rebellion will destroy the country which, again, is what the Left wants.
Funny how both of your points are exactly what the Left wants…
What have you done so far?
Volunteered? Donated (to MAGA incumbents)? Protested in the streets?
No, it won’t. They already own the GOP at the national level. Hence, the term “Uniparty.” And the Right is already split. Leaders like DeSantis on one side, corrupt colluders with the Left on the other side, like McConnell and McCarthy. So, no, sticking with the Republican Party in their current condition is actually self-destructive wishful thinking. And I don’t think anyone has a clue how to fix the D.C. cesspit.
You use a FAlse Argument…..it is NOT “Sticking” with the Republican Party, it “Taking Control” of it. And Yes!, there are millions of Americans who know how to do it.
Which makes me wonder what you are doing on this site….there are numerous leftist site that would welcome you.
That is NOT going to happen. If we were able to “take over” that corrupt organization, we would have done it already. They’re not going to just let you walk in and take over. FFS, get real. And I just LOVE your petty little “Leftists will love you” bullsht comment. That’s beyond childish. I’m on this site to express my opinion, which is my right. If you don’t like it, that’s okay with me. I’m not here to agree with everyone. That doesn’t make me a Leftist. But you know that.
I always vote for the “R” as the lesser of evils, but all they serve up is disappointment, as it seems that for every half step forward they take three steps backwards whilst stabbing us in the backs. We wouldn’t be in this mess if we actually had republicans in the GOP. I’ll add that I’ve also donated directly in support of candidates rather than the party, but I fear that the establishment GOP is just as corrupt as the donkey party.
No. Armed. Rebellion. At least, not yet.
Secure your home, secure your community, secure your county, then work outward from there.
Get rid of, by VOTING, SOCIAL PRESSURE, and LEGAL means, the rats in your midst.
The only way we win this thing is to start LOCAL.
There’s no reason, yet, to go off half-cocked.
Now, if tanks or troops start invading your communities, then they are fair game, and have at it boys.
We can build self-sufficient and secure communities. Do your research and get busy.
My twenty-two cents.
Your 22 cents are now worth 22 silver dollars (currently about $530 Fed Notes) in my book.
Yes I agree with you. But I was very surprised that AG Garland/DOJ came right out to condemn parents fighting at the local level with school boards on curriculum & going so far as to name them domestic terrorists. WTF?
BLM & Antifa are not terrorists but angry parents are?? Patriots peacefully protesting are terrorists but BLM & Antifa burning down buildings are not.
We cannot back down on local or state “issues” or we will never gain back Federal overreach. That’s the truth of the matter & not backing down requires state AGs fighting the Brandon Administration.
Last Tuesday’s elections give some hope, but my prediction is that by the time we get to 2022 elections, our politicians will promote more voter fraud or shut-down elections entirely.
An armed rebellion is the LAST, and I mean L. A. S. T. option anyone should ever consider. I’d go with secession first. But before either of those, I’d go with fighting for more governors like DeSantis and Abbott, although he is a bit wobbly at times. The best chance we have at this point, given the total corruption of the GOP in D.C., is to wage this war at the state level against the corrupt feds.
I do agree wholeheartedly that we need a new party, though.
It’s time for the patriots to pick their candidates and vow to put them in hell or high water.
We can not afford to give them any breathing room they always default to cheat, lie and steal.
Do a little more research, Janice. I believe you will discover that this vote means that the Marxist destruction of the US dollar agenda has lost in the House of Representatives. They will no doubt try to resurrect their Build Back Better Bullshit before Thanksgiving, but their chances of passing it anytime in the near future is now nill. The Repugs are still stupid and gutless, but they are not Communists. This was a big win for our side. We will need many more of these before the Communists will lose favor in the Democrap Party, but we finally have a little momentum.
We learned the hard way with Ross Perot. Voting for him gave us 8 years of the rapist. We should work within the system as it exists to vote in the people that we need to change the system. A 3rd party now would do nothing but guarantee a dem win and the tyranny that comes with it.
The people have to force, demand that the GOP voting apparatus work for us.
We already have a party and a good system, elected officials need to know we want it our way.
We haven’t been holding none of these people accountable for decades.
We got a good start on the hell raising part we need to continue the audits it applies so much needed pressure.
They need to know that we ain’t gonna turn this loose.
And DT had how much national political experience in 2015? RDS is years beyond Trump’s experience at similar stages in the game. He’s got my vote right now.
You could only make that comment if you had zero knowledge of President’s history from when he was still a boy to his candidacy in 2015 and his historic achievements once elected.
His vast experience was and is unrivaled.
Too many unthinking comments like that one appear on here.
Sad!
True!
President Trump dealt with – had to deal with – all kinds of politicians and bureaucrats, local and national, from the few honest ones to the back-stabbing weasels, during his business career.
“His vast experience was and is unrivaled.”
Amen!
Eventually I would like to see PDT have the gravitas to throw his suppose behind DeSantis. Trump has a couple problems that I am not sure he can overcome. One is the jab and two for whatever reason there’s a load of people that hate him. They will crawl across broken glass to vote against him. DeSantis has no such opposition.
so agree with you here… hes too polarizing… desantis is not at all. im all for desantis
Together, DJT and RDS would make a Mean Machine!
He was still naïve enough to get rolled by his own party from the first day he entered the White House.
I agree.
The standard is pretty simple. You win or you lose.
PDJT should be celebrated for his courage and truth telling more than anything else. But he creates his own irrational opposition. The only way he could succeed as a leader is if there was overwhelming popular support for him that politicians, especially his own party, had to obey/submit to. I don’t see that happening because of his very persona.
Then we’re only left with the option that he knowingly selected/nominated people (including VP) who did not support him.
The real issue of the day is why the party cannot generate a younger, charismatic, photogenic, intelligent, man/woman with the same courage and fighting spirit – that 45%+ of the country does not automatically detest beyond all rational understanding.
I would suffer no compunction were PDJT pulling all the strings/setting party strategy leading into 2024 – but someone else, with qualities listed above, being the front person (Presidential candidate). It’s hard to win anything when the deck is stacked and the leader is constantly under unrelenting attack because of the irrational hatred his persona engenders.
If you’re in it to win – you cover all areas of exposure. You position everyone in the role they are best suited to with one overriding objective (as PDJT put it) – to WIN.
If, on the other hand, this devolves into a cult of personality (which it has some appearance of becoming), then count me out.
Btw, at the end of the day there is the President and there is the staff/aligned execution agents who make things happen. With few exceptions, that manifestly did not happen during PDJT’s administration. Where was the team willing to go to the wall for the agenda? DoD? DoJ? RNC? CIA? FBI? DoS? NSA? Over four years he never had control over his own executive branch leadership. What makes anyone imagine this would change on a second go-around?
He’s valuable on the national stage working right where he is to set a good example of what can and should be done at the state level. Extreme Federalism!
Amen! From a Florida cracker.
And serving to embarrass my governor here in Texas who is always several steps behind.
De Santis should remain in Florida to lead it until there are more like him in other States and in Florida itself.
Only then he should make his presence at the Fed level.
The Left would party in the streets if he left the State.
I think his wife’s illness will possibly put the brakes on his movement to join a national ticket or lead a national ticket.
Absolutely. I’ve been screaming this in the comments sections all over the place to those who’d try to send him into the wastelands of D.C. to be surrounded and betrayed by his own party.
God bless all of the health care workers. DeSantis only addresses OSHA. Not the Medicare/Medicaid (CMS) mandate.
I got run out of a filthy, overcrowded, understaffed hospital in Florida for calling out the top dogs about unsafe conditions.
Yesterday, my job prospects dropped to near zero because any organization that accepts CMS $ has to mandate.
That’s every facility in the land that provides ANY KIND of health service (hospitals, clinics, urgent care, labs, imaging, dialysis, home health/hospice, nursing homes, DME, behavioral health, outpatient surgery centers, doctor offices, some dental).
And hospitals are bursting at the seams with sick people (vax injuries).
I guess I should be grateful I don’t have to be in these hell holes. But I don’t know how I’m going to make a living. I cannot imagine if I had little ones standing under my wing.
This is the biggest test of faith I’ve had in my life. A skilled, experienced, energetic, principled nurse advocate can’t work/help. I’m overwhelmed with the weight of it.
Ike RN, I will pray for you, what a spot to be in. In the course of raising 11 kids, we did not always know where the money would come from next. But God has *always* provided, and He will do so for you! I do not mean to dismiss your deep concerns, nor be glib. I wish only to offer encouragement, and assurance that I will bring you and your needs before the Lord.
Thank you. My faith is strong and I feel this is an opportunity to go even deeper with the Lord. I thank you very much for your kindness, testimony and prayers. It does comfort me.
God Bless you for all that you have done in your career, Ike. I wonder if even liberal fools will start to catch on when they realize how the healthcare industry is being decimated by Biden’s policies. In CA things are bad. We’ve been hemorrhaging healthcare workers from all disciplines who are burned out from the pandemic, and now the loss of workers due to the mandates will finish off any reasonable semblance of care in many places. When pro-Biden/Newsom “Useful Idiots” find themselves with their sick child or loved one on a gurney in a hallway for a week or so instead of getting a hospital bed (because there’s no one to staff the unit) will they wake up? Already many medical appointments for non-urgent issues, surgeries are months out due to lack of staffing, and hospital workers can’t keep up with the exacerbated illnesses due to delayed care filling the hospitals. So we’re seeing advanced cancers due to lack of early treatment, more acute kidney failures, etc. That’s what is filling up hospitals now, not COVID. I’m sure the Brandon Regime is very happy about all of this because the goal of Marxism is destroy all things good about America. When will liberals be able to lift the veil of their brainwashing off of their eyes and be able to see this?
Thank you for your kindness. The system is buckling. I’ve never seen anything like it. And it’s like the “powers” are trying to finish it off. Mystifying.
I think we can assume that DeSantis understands the issue of toxic globalism, etc. What about a Trump/DeSantis presidential ticket in 2024? I think that in hindsight, Trump has learned that the circle of people he can trust is very small. And I think he will only run if he is assured that his VP is on his side, contrary to the situation with Pence.
I have seen no evidence from Trump that he’s learned anything from his term in the White House. He needs to talk about it and let his supporters know that he’s wised up A LOT. Otherwise, there’s no point in him going back. None at all.
Just curious as to what kind of things you expect to ‘see’?? Certainly, all of us have seen that there was next to no one in Trump’s government that was 100% for Trump…there has been plenty of info that has come out that he was given misinformation from most of those who surrounded him…purposefully. I’m really curious as to what issues you demand he ‘wise up’ about. ??? Immigration? Energy? Climate change? Federalism? What?
that there is the problem isnt it? regardless of why he didnt get it done. thats all i care about. success .. by trumps own logic he would not support a future run
So, what didn’t he succeed at? No wars, better immigration rules, cheap fuel, good employment rates, reduced taxes, rebuilding the military, stronger economy, etc.
Win or don’t win at the appeals court in Atlanta; just have sanctuary cites… The lefties should understand nullification. Hell marijuana is somehow legal in VA but not federally. Just do it!
Hoping that DeSantis is playing the UniParty by not taking a position against their interests so that they will back him in the upcoming presidential election. If Trump does not run, then once DeSantis clinches the primary, he can still mealy-mouth on the MAGA agenda until elected. Then with Trump as an advisor, he could unleash the MAGA agenda along with cleaning out the swamp creatures infesting the rest of the federal government. A DeSantis/Trump ticket, with Trump as VP would be very interesting if DeSantis assigned Trump the job of cleaning out the UniParty weasels. What can the UniParty do against that? There is no provision for impeaching the VP, so they’d have to try to impeach and remove DeSantis before they could get to Trump.
The Socialist States of America won’t throw up “Berlin Walls” to keep their residents, but they will find ways to keep pensions etc from being sent out of the state. It will start with pensions and go from there.
Yeah, and because you’re too stupid to know that YOUR voting habits soiled your old nest, you soil your new nest and turn it purple or solid blue.
Not me and my family. We moved to Washington state from West Virginia back in 2006 to be near family after my mother’s death and for economic reasons. We have had ENOUGH of the Leftist insanity here. West Virginia has gotten worse economically, so we’re moving to Florida. We supported Trump both times and we love DeSantis. Unfortunately, thousands of others are doing the same thing and the housing market there is starting to reflect that. We need to get tf out of here no later than early 2022, even if we have to hitchhike the whole way. Inslee is a nut and there’s no telling what foolishness is going to issue from the Leftist enclave in Olympia. I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried locking down the state borders to keep us all inside the state. I know, a bit of an exaggeration. But not by much. Not anymore.
At present, my thoughts when hearing a leader say the Biden administration is failing in it’s policies are that they are on the wrong side with such an opinion.
“Failing” you say? Go to the opposite and conjure up this line: “Never thought we could be winning as much as we are!”
Now, ask yourself just who might be/would be/could be taking this perspective? If at least 70% of the inner people of the Biden administration are from the Obama administration…could that fact be a clue for you?
Recall who wanted to “fundamentally change America” and went about doing so as best he could…yea, that would be none other than Obama. And who has keep a really low profile since ole Joe got into office? Same guy, right…right!
How many clues does not need before he look seriously behind the curtain to see who is running the country and more importantly who is creating these policies which only have one final conclusion…America down on it’s knees?
The guy who wanted to do such…right now Obama and his people are winning. “Never let a crisis go to waster” came from the guy who also ran Chicago, Rahm Emanuel…a Clintonista for sure. And who is carrying that ball?
And bringing their socialist voting tendencies with them…
DeSantis moves further into “national politics.” I guess he’s running.
Here he’s commenting on the Steele Dossier:
https://redstate.com/bonchie/2021/11/05/ron-desantis-delivers-blistering-response-to-the-steele-dossier-bombshell-and-the-media-who-enabled-it-n470763
Generally Gov DeSantis’ comments are answers to questions. And when he answers he doesn’t tap dance.
Wow, a post with a bit of DeSantis criticism tempered with -yet-. Been a while. One day perhaps you’ll mention that he still promotes ‘vaccines’ as an effective treatment for the scam that is Covid.
Granted, but the appointment of his state Surgeon General should say all you need to know about his real views on the vaccine.
How about Desantis as “President” of a new league of independent states? Don’t like the word “secession”? Fine. Then call it a divorce. Call it whatever you want. But the DC apparatus is beyond repair. It needs to be dismantled and “built back better”, if at all. A united coalition of red states — or even counties — could perhaps have the clout to force a Declaration-of-Indepepndence-style rebuild of DC. If not, then we can just move on without them.
If you come to FL we are not a blue state. Please don’t help the transplants in S FL to turn us blue or you will be in a warm sunny place but it won’t be our Florida. The one you are escaping to.
Florida elected DeSantis by .4% (point 4%) in 2018 over communist Andrew Gillum. Can you even imagine? It’s always a couple of votes away. “They’re all alike” is the sign of a lazy, shallow thinker.
Last week Gov DeSantis announced the formation of a police task force that would focus on election violations. Soon after the dem gov’s assoc announced they would not waste any money running against DeSantis in the next FL election. Hmm. I don’t believe in coincidences, not when they’re political. Without election corruption in FL the dems don’t stand a chance. I have no doubt that the dem corruption machine is nationwide. Just look at the recent election in NJ. Once again, votes were switched by machines. But … I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.
As I wrote on another site just this morning:
No. DeSantis needs to stay in Florida. The only real headway we’ve made against this coup is at the state level where the governors have a damn backbone and some ethics. We’ve gotten nowhere at the federal level. It’s too far gone. The war is at the state level with true warriors who fight with and for their people. For God’s sake, DeSantis should NOT waste himself in that cesspit, where he’ll be surrounded and overwhelmed by the corrupt, venal traitors of the GOP. They are almost wholly owned by the Left. The few who are not are truly the FEW, as in count on one hand few. This drive to get DeSantis to leave Florida for D.C. is a BAD IDEA. Instead, we need more like him at the state level.
We’re tired of the Covid tyranny and corrupt democrat government in Hawaii so we’ve sold our place and are on our way to Idaho.
