Earlier today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis delivered remarks in West Palm. During his speech he outlined a legislative package he will be presenting to the Florida legislature to bolster the state’s election integrity measures.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced a new legislative proposal to further strengthen Florida’s election integrity. This proposed legislation will be addressed in the upcoming 2022 Legislative Session, which begins in January.
“We are excited to say that next legislative session we are proposing another package of election integrity reforms that will make Florida the number one state for elections,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “I am excited that with this legislation, our state will be able to enforce election violations, combat voter fraud and make sure violators are held accountable. If potential violators know they will be held accountable, they will be much less likely to engage in improper conduct in the first place.”
At the event, Governor DeSantis called on the Legislature to take four additional steps to safeguard our elections:
• Establish an Office of Election Crimes and Security within the Department of State to investigate election crimes and fraud;
• Elevate the crime of ballot harvesting to a third-degree felony, recognizing that this offense is a serious attack on democracy;
• Require timelines for supervisors of elections to clean the voter rolls of ineligible voters; and
• Prohibit unsecure, haphazard drop box locations in Florida.
The 2022 legislative proposal builds on election integrity legislation signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis in May 2021 through Senate Bill 90. In 2021, Governor DeSantis worked with the Florida Legislature to strengthen voter identification, prohibit the mass mailing of ballots, ban ballot harvesting and prohibit private money (Zuckerbucks) from influencing elections in our state. We need this in every state.
Agree, and they need to stop announcing the winner while the polls are still open and people are standing in line waiting to vote or are traveling to their polling destinations. If state A’s polls have closed but state B’s polls are still open the election shouldn’t be called while it’s still in progress. This happened with the NY Times – they pegged Hillary Clinton as the winner and announced a fireworks display in her honor but other media announced the fireworks had been cancelled days before as she had no chance of winning the presidency. People who used the NYT poll tracker saw she only had a 38% chance of winning yet the NYT kept announcing the next new president of the United States while people were still standing in line to vote. Obviously that could be used to sway people – ploys like that are unfair to voters.
I think that all the pole locations should report in at 100 percent and once that’s complete they give all results all at once denying the thieves a chance to decide what amount is needed to steal the election.
Every day that DeSantis moves to do the right things, more are encouraged to pick up the whole kit and caboodle and move to Florida.
Florida is going to need it’s own infrastructure package to deal with the population growth.
Thar’s why we came. Well, that and we get away from the taxes and madness in New York.
I’m probably moving there in 2023. The only thing is beware of big cities. It could be a problem if there is ever an exchange between China and the US. 1 good nuke can ruin your whole day.
Agree 100%.
Actually we first need forensics audits of 2020 elections and/or voter rolls. The legislation should come as a result of the massive fraud exposed.
Excellent. Election integrity is a must. However, still waiting to see someone in handcuffs for their role in the 2020 debacle.
This happened today
You always post good stuff. I’m not on Twitter but glad you are! Thanks, smart lady
Ahhhh, DeSantis does not push forensics audit.
After alll he announced during this speech…
Thats your big takeaway?
Yep.
Agree. First time we’ve ever been without a President at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
please purged the voter roles. there are too many people on the voters that are dead, no longer live in the district or never existed. we never to eliminate the frequent voter so we can return to one person one vote.
Yea, but who is going to see that it is done, I wonder. Democrats? in a blue county? I don’t think so. Too bad he didn’t do this before the Roger Stone article came out. It wouldn’t look as planned. I like DeSantis a lot but I think he is still being manipulated by the rinos in the legislature but then again that is our fault for not finding the right people. We have to get better on finding the right people to go up against these rinos.
Just this week a Judge denies PILF’s lawsuit for standing. The lawsuit explains that Fairfax County is violating Virginia law by accepting and approving applications for absentee and mail-in ballots that do not include the last four digits of the applicant’s Social Security number, as required under Virginia statues.
County Registrars have turned out to be THE single most important position in the fraud scheme. It is the County Registrars who are NOT keeping voter roles current by purging ineligible names fr0m the list after those people have died, moved from the state, declared another state as primary residence, or moved out of the country altogether and dropped their U.S. citizenship.
Want to clean up voter roles? Start putting public pressure on every County Registrar and do not let up until those roles are clean.
IMHO, who cares about the voter roles as long as the voter rolls are cleaned up?
Man this guy is cooking on all 4 burners.
Or more:
Hey, that’s my oven.
I think of my Governor as more of a Vulcan brand stove..
Best stove I ever had was a 6 burner O’keefe and Merritt. Loved it, pure quality.
NOT made in China.
What excuse does the GOP have for not doing this nationally?
Honestly, let’s hear the argument from them on why this would not be good for all states.
I want to see just where the GOP stands on this.
EVERY representative / senator must be questioned on this non-stop until they answer.
Every presser , every campaign stop, every debate shall include this.
Those who refuse, or give a wishy washy answer = Gone !
Works for me!
Because they were IN ON IT.
Exhibit A is Pennsylvania, where the GOP completely dominates the legislature.
And they are fighting an Audit tooth and nail, after passing mail in voting there.
RINO’s like that need to be asked why they are in office then if un-elected bureaucrats can just choose to do whatever they want regardless of laws passed.
#metoo,
Let’s start our own #metoo movement. LOL.
Crickets..
We need to turn over Ronna Romney McDaniel.
Another “shovel ready” job ?
Exactly. Imagine what a contrast it would be to the Marxists plan they are currently trying to ram through Congress making elections irrelevant.
Whatever you do, don’t let the Democrats have any part of it or they will corrupt it and further enable the election fraud they’re involved in. Democrats corrupt everything they touch, it’s as natural to them as a RINO taking stock tip to sell out U.S. workers and this nation’s long-term economic security.
???? ???? ???? ??????? ??? ??, ???? ?????? ??? ???????? ?????? ?????? ?? ???? ?? ?? ??? ????? ?? ??????? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???? ???????? ?????. ?? ????? ?? ?????? ??? ????? ??? ???????. ??? ???? ?? ?????? ???????? ???? ?? ????? ????? ??? ?????????? ??? ??? ??? ????.
What?
Apples and oranges. MTG is in Congress, not a governor.
Greg Abbott, yep, could do plenty more.
How do you propose MTG “fix” the election fraud?
Election integrity, should be the law of the land. Needed to rid every state of democrat voter fraud.
starting w/voter ID!
It’s not a disease limited to Democrats.
RINOs in GA and PA may be benefitting from the corruption as well.
Agreed.
Don’t buy the Dem narrative that this is D vs R.
Election integrity is the law. We support the law and all legal votes being tallied.
I’ve always suspected Kentucky as well.
You are correct. Hence their reluctance to address it.
This fine man is just getting started. He’s not letting up. All while facing possibly the biggest challenge a husband can face with his wife fighting the biggest most worrying of hers.
My admiration for him grows exponentially every day.
Election integrity should be at the top of every red states agenda list. Also at the top should be throwing out illegal immigrants that were shipped into your state by the ineptocracy other wise known as the federal government.
Every illegal immigrant should be deported.
As should every criminal that illegally crosses the borders of a sovereign nation without permission.
it is a crime to do so, and not prosecuting these crimes, encourages others to break the law. Without the fair, and just application of the law, we have lawlessness..
we are currently in perpetual state of lawlessness.
I will never forget that joke as long as I live.
I still like the suggestion to include criminal provisions for each breach of duty by an election official. That would scare a few off at the very least.
Minimum 15-year sentences in a state penn. You can be awarded more years but no less than 15 for any crime involving election manipulation or not following written election law. Make it painful, no parole as well.
Interesting timing
Is this a reaction to Roger Stone’s challenge to Desantis
About auditing 2020 the other day?
Roger was blasting Desantis about the voter rolls and more
Even threatening to run for gov himself if Desantis didn’t do something
About it.
Hmmm
0
Whatever works.
Yes, I believe it is in response to Roger Stones articles.
DeSantis response is a classic political one. Looks like no forensics audit in FL. Without the proof, election integrity laws not going to be passed.
You are lost.
Comment deleted by Admin…
You got a time machine?
Troll?
For pointing out events?
Grow up little sprout
Before I stuff you under the bridge.
Just the other day I read about Roger (whom I agree with btw)
Railing on about election fraud
Ironic that your hero reacted to the ? in the room
That he has never mentioned until today!
Could this all be a head fake to avoid a fla audit?
See I ask the adult questions you ignore with your blind faith
Carry on with your ignorant name calling
Nope, I won’t call you a troll. Maybe I’ll just say that you glossed over details in the article. DeSantis is trying to add onto Florida Senate 90. The Election integrity issue is huge (like an elephant). Unraveling the years of fraud and its underlying network is a gargantuan task. A single piece of legislation won’t realistically work politically. So, how do you eat the elephant? One bite at a time!
Gov. DeSantis is going at this logically and with purpose. Roger Stone on the other hand is just making noise. Just think of this logically. Weeks ago the event was planned and scheduled with a topic of Election Integrity and it just so happens that Stone issues a challenge a day before the scheduled event takes place. Prescient…I think not.
I might of missed a few details because I wanted to
See the word audit that was missing
The rest is all fluff unless the forementioned occurs
You get it.
Well, Stone challenged DeSantis to do a forensics audit. Election Integrity and a forensics audit are two very, very different things.
I hope theres a provision denying voting rights to Illegal Aliens . 10 years in Gitmo then deportation – no parole no reduced sentence. Especially the ones that arrived in the last 10 months. Not ever.
It is sad because we have these laws already but no one enforces them. Will this new agency really be any better? I am always leery of more government agencies. We have way too many now. Just use the Federal laws already and our Constitution to protect the citizens and our elections. We need to get off the darn computer systems. Sheesh! What is so hard about that.
We are just too darned pampered!
And no amnesty for ‘law abiding illegals’.
he needs to add a REQUIRED forensic audit for every statewide election EVERY time…let the counties individually require it at their level… the ONLY way to get a transparent look for the PEOPLE at compliance is to do audits each cycle…also OUTLAW any electronic device use in counting or storing of the ballots…HARD copy only hand-counted for accuracy
Did you notice the request he made or did everyone miss it? Come to Tallahassee and push your Legislators when they are having legislation. We the people have to push these guys. Right now DeSantis is listening pretty good but the pressure for the audit has to be heavy and constant. These rino’s need pressure just like DeSantis.
If the people want something done then by gosh we better be willing and able to pressure everyone of these from every county/city etc. That means attorney generals and every office in the government. Otherwise they do what they want. Let us show them we are here and just as ready to get the job done and fire them if they don’t do their job. Read every bill they bring up so you know what is going on and let us not keep letting them sneak all their goodies into them.
We have to do our job first. It isn’t just voting, this has to be done continuously. We also need to start demanding that the ballot should list everybody’s political association, all the way down to judges, school board pos, everyone. We have too many activists judges that do not follow the Constitution. This system has to be fixed. And if they don’t follow US law they should be able to be fired on the spot.
The people want forensics audits and we get election integrity. How are laws we already have, being written again going to change anything? The crimes will continue. Same as always. Go forensics audit or go home. Is DeSantis really listening pretty good? We ask for a forensics audit and we get election integrity?
America’s Governor!!!
It’s a stark contrast to who the left was trying to sell as America’s Governor, Cuomo.
Or the RINOs, Jeb Bush.
Get ready for yet another round of “it’s raaaciiiist!”
You might think that after yesterday’s drubbing of the dem platform they might take a step back and realize that calling your opponent racist for absolutely every single point of disagreement gets old and tiresome. Clearly it’s not an argument that many in the public are accepting anymore. But, it’s worked for decades so they will continue to use it, and double down on it.
I say this after reading an article in Fox this morning from the dems about how McCauliffe’s problem was that he didn’t spend enough time pointing out how racist Youngkin is. Really. There is no mention that McCauliffe’s Hail Mary on election eve was to point out that 80% of teachers in VA are white and 50% of students are black so that needed to be fixed (no race baiting there.).
Honestly I hope they don’t change a thing. Stay with it dems since it’s working so well for you.
I still think of that classic Tiktok clip made by an black man. He has his laptop on the floor like he has no clue what it is.
That is exactly how the communists see the minority communities. Dumb as dirt and to be used accordingly.
Every poll indicates it’s beginning to fall apart for them, thank heavens. They always project onto their opposition what they are.
Who could possibly replace DeSantis in Florida if – Trump/DeSantis 2024? I don’t want to lose DeSantis as governor but T&D would dominate.
Other possibilities IF we see election integrity improved.
Trump/ Powell
Trump/Flynn
Trump/….
I really like DeSantis in FL. We need him their to safeguard FL elections and to lead the way as a free state, IMO.
I know what you mean.
Does anyone really think the RNC will let Trump run yet alone be the candidate? After all they went and put the country through for 5 years to rid us of him, I would be shocked if he is on the ballot.
Does anyone? Yes, I do. The RNC isn’t going to stop the Trump Train.
They didn’t let him run last time. But he ran anyway.
That’s right! I forgot about that!
Trump/Navarro, Trump/Carson, Trump/Grenell, Trump/John Ratcliffe, Trump/Patel.
?
Trump/not powell.
No audit? Then it is whoever can cheat the best.
Not sure President Trump would pick DeSantis. This request by many, even before Stone’s remark, for a forensic audit may be a test. DeSantis steps politically around it and gives election integrity.
So, what if, DeSantis orders an audit. The first thing they do is examine if they have an envelop for every ballot cast.
Results are no, DeSantis says big problem, forensic audit time.
Discovery can work in your favor with an administration that is interested in the truth.
I can understand this suggestion that desantis advance an audit.
so what happens if he doesn’t? does that harm Florida election integrity…real or perceived?
did we do some statistical work from Florida and note red flags?
did we find rules and laws were both broken or misrepresented ?
was there any evidence even eye witness that reported irregularities?
what would drive a reasonable man to even contemplate issues exist.
this is NOT TRUE for the other 7 battleground states that tilted this election to a fraudulent end
Florida does not meet the reasonable man fact based foundation to even allege irregularities existing in Florida.
so what you are saying is Florida should do it anyway even though there is a very low probability that any irregularity has occured.
of the point is to do it with blue ribbon 100 percent every single data and asks fulfilled…and somehow raise that up as THE WAY forward.
okay..
but there IS risk here. one, it opens up a bunch of districts/counties that will use the opportunity to manufacture misinformation…at a cost to desantis. where’s the benefit?
more importantly, the blue ribbon THE WAY is already well understood.
the problem is, like Arizona showed ..those holding the domain, ultimately decide how much truth is revealed. it’s about sharing only that which best represents their own certification results…the one they prefer. and that information that reduces the challengers power to get all of the material.
Florida would face the same new crisis, for an election that isn’t even contested by anyone based 0n all reports there was nothing irregular to suggest fraud.
this is not true with the 7 states…they all share similar statistical impossibilities with no rational explanation for it.
again, the data shows this was not just irregular but completely out of range to anything in political runoffs.
this stuff happens in
Russia, North Korea, Venezuela, others.
this has never happened before…ever…not here.
ever
Florida also has the benefit that that state is legendary successful in all areas of cleaning up their system of voting, closing loops, firing corrupt criminals left and right and charging some with direct criminal conduct…I would say Florida has earned a reputation as a Phoenix from it’s ashes.
if there is some kind of public and national good served, Florida can just simply hosts workshops to show other state agencies how the law can work to ensure corruption is actively monitored and how fair voting systems can actually happen with the proper leadership across the board.
that would include showing how they performs various tests and inspections for irregularities.
no need to showboat with a public audit that would definitely have a negative impact or at least a risk of it to this Florida administration.
Will all due respect to Gov. DeSantis, we don’t need to “talk” about election integrity.
We need a full-scale, scorched-earth, no-stone-left-unturned, Florida DOJ special prosecutor supported FORENSIC AUDIT of the 2020 election in Florida. First, to identify the real problems that occurred and need to be fixed permanently. Second, to hold accountable the traitors who perpetrated the fraud and to create a trail to voter fraud activities in other States.
Special prosecutor support is necessary to make sure no evidence is destroyed until the full audit / investigation process is completed, and to ensure that all information requested by the audit is turned over timely and completely (at the risk of criminal prosecution if data is resisted or destroyed). No more effing around!
If Desantis has aspirations to run for President
Why wouldn’t he be doing a audit to help
Having a even playing field when he runs?
That is what jumps out at me.
This is like throwing dirt over the scat..
I responded above that I am not sure a forensic audit is off the table.
HERE we think it should but what if the measured, show the disbelievers there is a problem crowd, will be more easily brought along if you establish discrepancies before going scorched earth?
I’m fully in the forensic audit of every single state.
I am willing to do it tactfully though to accomplish the mission. Not every battle or the war is won by an immediate frontal assault.
By the way, he could then come out and say we’ve found these discrepancies in our audit so we are commencing with a forensic audit.
We owe it to every citizen residing in our state. I encourage every governor to do the same so we can put the voters’ minds at rest.
Typically election fraud especially commited by city and county election officials would be easily prosecuted with charges of official corruption, mail fraud and wire fraud but like so many other things today especially related to minority government officials it’s treated as just another welfare program!
I just do not trust the government to investigate anything morally.
Private entities should be sought after and hired to investigate fraud & crimes.
This is another government enlargement.
It would be a joke in my state.
What about 2020?
This is all great and all until a democrat wins then all is toss to the side and voter fraud goes rampart. All these election rules need to be cement with some poison pills so it’s hard to change when democrat wins.
Well sir. Seems Mr. Rodger Stones message got through to him. ‘Magine that.
Election Integrity is NOT a forensics audit. Message did not get through.
The GOP should run on creating a National Election Day. No mail in voting except in narrow situations like the four rules Pennsylvania has for absentee voting (military, etc.) which requires the voter to submit a signed application citing one of the 4 valid reasons. All voting must be in person with ID. Make it a national holiday (day off) with everything closed. You can’t vote outside your registered precinct, no provisional ballots. It’s the voter’s responsibility to update their address and register properly.
And if a State or County enters into a contract with a vendor to provide/operate/maintain voting machines, then the vendor gives up all rights to the software and data, and all vendors are assigned two observers (one per party) who monitor all of their activities. No election official or judge may bar observers from counting/voting locations, and all voting and counting rooms must be on live, HD, video at all times without interruption or all votes “counted” when the cameras are down are invalidated.
If we’re going to have trust in our elections, we have to stop treating elections like voting thumbs up on Fakebook.
Not nearly enough. Full forensic audits. Nothing short of that will amount to a hill of beans.
The rock star of all governors! Wish I still lived there 🙁
Bravo once again Governor DeSantis! You’re so right! If there’s no punishment for election cheating, it will never end.
So, why not start with a forensics audit? Asking for a friend.
See my answers above.
Zally, no offense but I don’t recall seeing many posts from you before today. You’re all over this thread demanding one thing. My spidey senses are pinging.
No offense taken. New poster but years reading here. Know sll the players. No different, really, than longtime posters who respond to multiple similar comments on a thread. Some have been doing it for years, treating each comment as an individual and answer each directly. Again, no offense taken and your candidness is welcome.
Good.
Virginia did cheat this election in my opinion, but not enough to steal it.
See this: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/11/reminder-one-year-ago-election-night-300000-votes-joe-biden-magically-appeared-virginia-give-biden-win
The ELEPHANT in the room is this is NOT a forensics audit! Seems like a political response to Roger Stone enlightening us, as if responding to Stone’s criticism. But NOT.
At this posting, you have 16 comments saying basically the same thing with a total comment tally by everyone of 103.
We hear your complaints, each time.
You seem incredibly vested in this and I’m curious since I read and post here frequently and don’t recall seeing you before today.
Pardon my suspicious cat posture but the trolls have been hitting this site with an amazing regularity of late.
Before you object that you’re advocating for forensic audits, let me tell you I see it as perhaps an interest in running down the one governor in the entire nation that is actually getting things done and is a huge thorn in the side of the current regime.
Just sayin’.
Has DeSantis said that he will never have a forensic audit done? Not that I’m aware.
And yes, I noted that you capitalized the word ELEPHANT.
Interesting.
Actually, study of the site shows there are trolls coming from all directions, some more obvious than others. I am criticizing DeSantis in this incident, not across the board. It is not of the troll to scroll down, reading each comment and responding to each individual. Is it trollish to repeat the sentiments of most every other comment on a post? If not, then is it trollish or suspect to respond to each comment?
As to DeSantis, I think there is reason to give credence to Roger Stone’s comment, particularly the way many responded to with, “Kill the messenger” to kill the message.
Recent history can leave one a wee bit more discerning than in past days. Mitt Romney, Ted Cruz, Nikki Haley, Pence, Sessions, Coney Barrett, Kavenaugh, Barr, etc., were all marketed as on our side and appointed our next hero. Anytime anyone pointed out any warning signs or something not quite right, they were accused of trolling, repeating themselves, monopolizing a thread, and bullied by tag team of mockers. Some left the site, some stayed. Just sayin’.
So maybe we can agree that there is a process for election integrity and that going for a full forensic audit from the get go is one path. Another is one I outlined above.
FTR, let’s not forget that Florida has been considered a swing state for years.
DeSantis has many things going for him having successfully navigated through the plandemic, brought their economy roaring back after having won his election in a very narrow victory. I think he would win more decisively now. That said, I still believe the path I laid out above by exposing some fraud with a regular audit is prudent. Point out that there is fraud, go full forensic. Prompt other governors to do the same.
New Jersey election fraud occurred.
“Democrat Tricks in New Jersey Governor’s Race – Republican Winning Largest County with 100% of Votes Counted Then Vote Flips and Democrat Miraculously Wins County.”

Link contains evidence and a video describing what happened.
Ah, Brenda, where is she now?
I’m really starting to wish PDJT would have left Roger Stone in prison, even though he was probably wrongly convicted.
Why? Because he has shown DeSantis is not going to push for a forensics audit? That his election integrity push looks like a political gobbley-gook? Why is Roger the bad guy here and DeSantis the hero for trying to pacify our screams for a forensic audit with election integrity?
The legislation should include a provision that states in the event that Federal law, a judicial ruling, consent decree, litigation settlement, or decision by an election official change any of the provisions of this law, the legislature will reclaim its right to assign presidential electors.
Thats what Im talkin about.
I have proposed many times that a classroom of 5th graders given 30 days could come up with a better election process than we have now. It would be more efficient, accurate, less money and have some standard in verifying ID and procedures.
Nobody has argued this point?
Glad to see that someone is trying to make fraudsters accountable instead of just messing around with procedural reforms. Democrats will violate new laws just like they violated the old ones but send a few to prison for long stretches and it will deter others.
