How bad was Attorney General Merrick Garland’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday? It was so bad that 24 hours later the NSBA has openly retracted and apologized for the content of the letter that triggered AG Garland to activate the FBI.
Facing serious and unrelenting public backlash, and large numbers of Red State school boards dissolving their relationship with the national organization, the NSBA writes:

This happened too fast for the script writers to adjust and pivot in time and poor Merrick stumbled and fumbled the ball being inept at impromtu when his whole life has been devoted to a carefully contrived matrix of falsehoods in which new things take time to find their place and explanation. And really you know, who’da thunk it a few years ago that firing off a letter demanding the Attorney General do something would have such immediate effect. They actually might just be stupid enough to not know what meat they were feeding the grinder but, I doubt it. More likely simply damage control from the blowback of such an arrogant and poorly worded memo. We can only hope McCauliffe in VA falls from his perch due to his incredibly arrogant statement but, I doubt it.

Apology likely sent due to address a retention issue that was created by issuing the letter. Lose your state board’s support = fewer funds in the piggy bank = less influence on a national scale. My guess is the national NSBA office still believes every word advocated in its letter to Garland. They simply want to stop bleeding members from the NSBA fold.

The documents, obtained under the Maryland Public Information Act, reveal that students of “Maryland’s Largest School District” who attended Thomas Pyle Middle School’s social justice class were taught that the phrase “Make America Great Again” was an example of “covert white supremacy.” The phrase is ranked on a pyramid just below “lynching,” “hate crimes,” “the N-word” and “racial slurs.” They were also taught that “white privilege” means being favored by school authorities and having a positive relationship with the police.

Sounds like the NSBA is reluctantly including parents in the apology (as they have been forced to realize school boards are increasingly made up of parents instead of administrators) as a means to save their obtuse tyrannical and priveledged position to influence what harmful, crazy and racist things are taught to our children. It’s beyond time we took back our schools from these Leftoids. It’s easy because their positions are unsupportable in the face of common sense arguement. Mocking is necessary and unavoidable and of course the only tactic they can use is defamation.
But I imagine that the FBI political police is activated now against parents and these deep state communists will be using the letter etc like the Steele Dossier to relentlessly Jan6 parent groups.
