Very little is going back to normal, this year or in the foreseeable future. I am watching the little ones as the years now tick by, not experiencing school, friends, parties, family celebrations,playgrounds, theater and just about everything else, in the normal, unmasked and unrestricted way. So sad we are raising them in such fear.

BTW , she is fine after 2 days, but the rules are 10 days isolation. Meanwhile, her brother was moved out of the house for 10 days and neither can return to school for 10 days. As foreign as this is to me, it is now normal for them. They have no significant history to really remember so very easy to establish that “new normal” so many are too willing to embrace. I mourn for their loss.

Well, I got spooked, so I did a double-load of shopping yesterday… NOT CHEAP. As of yesterday it looks like the T.P. stock was replenished, but folks definitely hit that aisle pretty hard… lots of empty space… though the Bounty was Bountiful.

Yesterday, we were at our daughter’s place for our granddaughter’s birthday party and the in laws were there as well. Her mother in law works at a bank.
She told us that she was very concerned because for the last two weeks people, mostly older, have been coming into the bank requesting large cash withdrawals, some over $100K. Supossedly it has been a constant outflow.
She told us that she had to tell customers that their requests would take a couple of days because they don’t keep that amount of cash in hand and they had to request the cash from a Reserve bank. She also told them that they would have to provide their own security for transport from the bank if needed. She asked them where would they store all this cash and those who answered said in a safe in an undisclosed location.
I have not heard of this before yesterday but it begs the question – what do this older people know that I don’t??? Is this like a run on the banks like that in the 1920’s?
Maybe because Yellen and Biden are going to have the IRS staffing increased and look into your bank account for $600 dollars transactions and I also think Biden is recommending a full on communist to revamp the banking system? Too many uncertainties.

CTH was hit with concern trolls. They seldom have any answers about anything but use sore points to get a community fighting amongst themselves. Now these venal slugs are using the bioweapon their masters released on the world. This to stop our Great American President Donald J Trump and his Deplorable Army and Sadly it worked, for now.

Is President Trump infallible?…absolutely not. Is he a god?…absolutely not. Does he have all of the answers?…NO! But by his actions has he earned the benefit of the doubt, I believe …YES!
Play the concern game out…if not President Trump, then who?

I agree. I have seen people post that they cannot vote for President Trump in 2024 because his administration created the vaccine and he advocates for it.
(1) I think we all agree that COVID-19 was created in a Chinese lab, as the President has said and which until recently was suppressed as fake news and xenophobic. Now, major medical and mainstream outlets are acknowledging that.
(2) If it was created in a lab, it is a serious bioweapon and needs a serious response. Hence, a vaccine created in record time.
(3) I think we can all agree at CTH that mandating the vaccine goes against our principles of a free nation. President Trump has never, to my knowledge, advocated making the vaccine mandatory.
My personal experience has been different than the OP. I know at least a dozen killed by COVID-19. I know another dozen who were very sick, from 2 weeks to being on a ventilator. (This includes one of my college students who was extremely sick and he was relatively young.) I also know over 100, from my job as a high school administrator and college professor, who had the vaccine and none had a reaction beyond a headache and in some cases a mild fever and none since gotten COVID-19. But that is irrelevant. The key is who are mandating, at the cost of one’s job or going to school, the requirement of taking the vaccine. And President Trump is opposed to those mandating the vaccine.
Sorry for your loss. Though we’ve lost a couple people, both over 70 and both had many underlying ailments.
President Reagan had a wonderful saying; too paraphrase; “My 80% friend is not my 20% enemy”. The only place that you can find doctrinaire thinking is with Marxist B-B-B-Biden’s team aka Team Swamp Rat.

At any rate, if we haven’t figured it out be now, when will we – what is going on in the world right now is not really about the vaccine. Do they cause death and harm, yes, but I do not see a massive die off happening. What is happening is a communist type take over of the worlds commerce and the dissolution of individual rights. I am so thankful that our VSG P DJT, along with so many people in positions to know and reveal, along with people who are intelligent enough to be able to put things together and present the ‘big picture’ so more of us can understand what is happening.
I wish i were smart enough to understand what is happening behind the scenes – things we can see happening but don’t know why – or who the actors directing show are – good guys at war with the bad guys.
While we know that things are not always what they seem, for sure not what the MSM is reporting, it’s hard to wait for the ending.
As a Star Trek devotee i keep remembering Data playing a war game – and losing to a ‘master’. As the episode continues he falls into a period of self doubt. But then at the end ‘takes on’ the master for one last try. And the ‘master’ is forced into surrender. Congrats for Data flow – but then he admits he did not win. So how? everyone asks… I did not try to win – i merely countered his every move.
That haunts me. Could it be a more realistic approach and realistic view of today’s history unfolding? Maybe putting a big crimp the the plans for world domination is an effective way to go?

When Breitbart was just getting started I worked with a small group of posters and our fun and games were tag team take downs of Bolshevik nit-wits aka trolls. It was great fun.

Fun fact: Between 100-200 United States Congress Members (plus many of their staffers & family members) with COVID.. were treated by a colleague over the past 15 months with ivermectin & the I-MASK+ protocol at https://flccc.net. None have gone to hospital. Just sayin’
There are 535 members of Congress. On the lower boundary this is 19% of the members, plus staff and family or close to one in five. On the upper boundary it is more than a third.
Remember folks that doctors have been threatened with loss of their medical licenses for writing prescriptions and chain pharmacies, which are most of them, have in many cases refused to fill said prescriptions. The entire reason people have gone out and bought “pony paste” is that they can’t go to the local doc-in-a-box and get a script for Ivermectin.
Incidentally I trust animal meds in this sort of context far more than human ones. Go kill someone’s tens-of-millions of dollar racehorse and see how long you live. Whack Fluffy and it will be all over the news for a week with the responsible vet run out of town. But killing Granny, if you’re a hospital and can come up with a positive PCR test you get a $33,000 bounty — and everyone, including the media, yawns.
Do I believe Ivermectin is the entire answer? No. It wasn’t for me, and I used it when I got Covid in early August. But was it part of the answer? I believe it was. It certainly didn’t kill me and on the data it is about 100 times safer than Tylenol. We have 40 years of data on its safety and it has a risk of seriously harming you of about 1 in 600,000. With close to four billion human doses dispensed and consumed that data is pretty solid; I certainly trust it.
Can you OD on it or worse, find some product that has it and other things in it too and those other drugs are unsafe (or at least untested) in humans? Certainly. But remember folks: We had an out-and-out fraud, a actual medical practitioner, who stated their entire ER was full of people who poisoned themselves with the drug. The hospital, a day or two later when they realized they had been named, issued a formal statement that exactly zero persons had shown up in their Emergency Room having been poisoned by self-administration of Ivermectin.
Did anyone go to prison for this lie? Nope. Did that person’s medical ticket get punched permanently for their false presentation? Nope. What sanction was placed on said person for their intentional fraud? None.
