As you read the news reports on a new anti-viral pill to battle COVID-19 from Merck called “Molnupiravir”, keep in mind Merck is the pharma company that owns the anti-viral pill Ivermectin.

Merck shares jumped as much as 12.3% and hit their highest level since February 2020 after data showed the company’s pill molnupiravir could halve the chances of dying or being hospitalized for those most at risk of contracting severe COVID-19. What if there is no virus or pandemic? We cannot logically take this out of the conversation, after all that’s been going on. It’s not an impossibility. I think a reasonable argument can be made for just about any aspect of this plandemic. Just saying.

Never thought I had any loss of taste or smell until I found that I can’t smell my wine, Can taste it just fine but part of the enjoyment is swirling the wine in the glass and smelling it before taking a sip. I tested positive for COVID (Delta perhaps) Thursday morning last week & lost my smell & taste for everything within two hours of waking. My doc friend convinced me to use Regeneron containing cloned anti-bodies specific for this type virus. I did so on day 3. I asked him how long this taste thing could last, and he said it depends on how much neurological damage the spike proteins before you intervened early enough to stop. Don’t mess around with this bio-weapon. Here is what he said to my question: “can it do permanent damage?”. Answer: “Yes. And strokes from clots or inflammatory process in the nerves of your brain. Ergo – attack early & with everything. Brain, lung, heart, kidney damage is permanent.” I’m using 54mg ivermectin, huge amounts of Vitamins C, D3/k3, Zinc & Quercitin, gargle with Lysterine every few hours (the yellow stuff most hate), and copious amounts of colloidal silver. Day 4 now & no better, but no worse either. Caveat: my hydrogen Peroxide mix went to wast because the nebulizer broke down. That should have been used from day 1.
Do everything you can with anti inflammatory foods and supplements. There is an infusion you make from ginger root and green tea: works great for me on some inflammation issues.
1/2 lb fresh ginger root. Organic if you can get it. Sliced 1/2 inch thick. Put in instant pot with gallon of water for an hour. As soon as the lid can be opened add 6 green tea bags and put the lid back on for at least an hour to cool. Strain through screen sieve. 8oz morning noon and night. Put honey in it bc it packs a punch.

I also tested positive for Covid on September 1 too. MY little clinic and hospital 40 miles to the east of our ranch first tested then treated, when positive, with an IV antibiotic, then watched for about 45 minutes to make sure we were OK, my oldest son was with me to get treated too.
We live in a flyover red state and to understand how far into the sticks we are the closet Walmart is 150 miles away.
The clinic did not push the jab and the lady who gave us our IV antibiotics does not have the jab and will not get it. So I am glad I live out in the middle of nowhere where the medical community is SANE.

It appears to be a synthetic slightly altered version of N Acetyl L Cysteine so it can be patented. Which the FDA is trying to ban the natural nutrient as of June even thought it has proven safe for 30yrs. Nutritional companies are fighting it, but major retailers like Amazon dropped it immediately.
Mc….just to clarify, molnupiravir is beta-D-N4-hydroxycytidine….i.e., a cytidine derivative….it gets altered in vivo so it’s incorporated into viral RNA.
NAC is a derivative of the amino acid cysteine…..which, as you noted, the FDA wants to ban (unless by Rx??). It’s major effect seems to be as an inflammatory, suppressing some of the hyper activation of the innate immune system that leads to problems with SARS CoV-2 and other viruses. Interestingly, there is a report (in the link cited below) that NAC may inhibit the activity of Mpro [the ‘other’ SARS CoV-2 protease in addition to the C3L protease).

Just wanted to add a correction…..with the nomenclature used for coronaviruses, it’s sometimes hard to keep track of its’ gene products [OK, I goofed]…..Mpro [‘major protease’] and C3L pro [C3-like protease; i.e., similar to the picornavirus (e.g., polio) C3 protease…..so “C3-like”] are just different names for the same protease. The ‘other’ protease is PLpro [papain-like protease].
Would not surprise me at all if the company told the FDA to ban it – the FDA often pulls useful and well-tested supplements when they start encroaching on Big Pharma’s profits.
NAC does have benefits but it’s not without side effects if you aren’t careful using it.

Molnupiravir was initially identified as an inhibitor of VEE virus [Venezualan equine encephalitis virus] at Emory University in 2013 or shortly thereafter, so it’s been around for a while. Although most of the early published studies used VEE virus, the drug also inhibited the replication of a number of other RNA viruses in vitro [influenza, coronaviruses, RSV, Chikungunya, Ebola…cited in the link below as some published and some unpublished data].
As a potential SARS CoV-2 therapeutic, It was further developed in a ‘prodrug’ version, as the original version was quickly broken down in intestinal enterocytes….once absorbed, the prodrug is converted into the active form of the drug, typically…though not always….in the liver]

What is not clear yet….though studies are on-going…is whether or not resistance develops and, if so, how quickly? This varies quite a bit depending on the drug and the virus. In many cases, resistance arises in a step-like fashion….multiple mutations, with each successive mutation leading to increased resistance. These studies appear to be in progress as best I can tell.

The answer to the ‘just an $$ ivermectin’ is ‘yes and no’….yes to expense and RdRp (viral polymerase) as a target, and ‘no’ because ivermectin seems to act at many other levels as well. Granted much of the latter needs to be examined in more detail….
But….basic principles…..if a drug has more than one target in a virus, it’s going to be a heck of a lot harder for the virus to develop resistance to the drug [unless, like some bacteria, it somehow acquires an enzyme that inactivates the drug directly]
So, all else being equal (OK, it usually is not, but..) ivermectin is really a no-brainer, at least for now……as we all know, though, it was never about the virus

Yes….RNA viruses have a very high mutation rate…..some mutations have no discernible effect, some have a beneficial effect, some have a deleterious effect. However, it’s unlikely you will ever recover any UNLESS there is some selective pressure that causes one mutant to have an advantage. If that ‘advantage’ is the ability to ‘escape’ the antibodies the host is producing, then it will slowly become the dominant species….and spread to other folks with an antibody array similar to the original host.
This is particularly prone to be a problem with mass vaccinations….an ‘over-vaccinated population’….a good comparison is the widespread (‘over-‘) use of an antibiotic……what happens?…..eventually resistant mutants arise and become more predominant because of the widespread use of the antibiotic…..problem is RNA viruses mutate at a rate 100-1000x (varies) greater than bacteria.
So..yes, new ‘booster’ designed to combat the new mutant, and the cycle starts over again.

I have no idea as to how accurate the info is on Wikipedia, but looking at the two molecules (Ivermectin and Molnupiravir) they look to be completely different. That doesn’t change the likelihood that Ivermectin is safe and effective, so the demonization of IVM may just be a way to clear the way for Molnupiravir to capture the market.

Upon further reading, it looks like this stuff is not just repackaged Ivermectin. It seems much, much riskier–you know, the very way they tried to paint Ivermectin.

I’ve read somewhere, maybe Alex Berenson, who wrote that molnupiravir is “suspiciously” like Ivermectin. Break it down and maybe the color is different which will cost you $1000 compared to 18.8¢.

It is said “the jury is out on Ivermectin”. The statement can be taken as to the effectiveness of the drug. Ivermectin has been touted as a treatment for covid for over a year. Being a helpful drug with essentially no side effects in a pandemic one would think that our billion dollar federal health system would have immediately thoroughly tested it and there would be no question as to its effectiveness. Instead Ivermectin was being keen-jerked ordered not to be used. People were suffering and dying and there was a treatment for which “the jury is out” that was under order to not be used. Did Pfizer give the order and politicians relay it to the public? If its success in other parts of the world is not sufficient proof, Ivermectin should have been investigated here. Perhaps Merck has done this. What also needs to be investigated are the managers and top officials at the FDA and CDC. How are they invested in pharmaceutical companies and what patents do they share with pharmaceutical companies. Who is Pfizer giving money to? The clique that applies is “follow the money”. But no one is doing that, not even conservative media. It is like some super power greater than government is in control. In the movie “The President’s Analyst” that power was the phone company. Here it is likely the pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer which in the past has shown no compulsion to killing people. (Look up Pfizer fined 2.3 billion dollars.)

My industry leading client in Houston, The major, vertically integrated, global Oil/Gas field product supplier was advised to try the same Trick.

Merck is the producer of ivermectin, which has been shown to be effective in an least 65 controlled studies and 32 randomized controlled trials to fight COVID-19 as a preventative and early- and late-stage treatment. Studies have demonstrated its ability to inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 as well as its strong anti-inflammatory properties.
Yet, as Rep. Louie Gohmert pointed out in a commentary this week, the “government alphabet agencies, the medical industrial complex, and their willing accomplices in the media” have made ivermectin “the latest naughty word which will get you censored on social media and mocked and belittled by late-night ‘comedians.’”
Gohmert noted Merck itself has discouraged using ivermectin to treat COVID-19. The Texas lawmaker spotlighted the fact that the cheap and effective ivermectin would directly compete with the new drug it is developing, called molnupiravir. Unlike ivermectin, molnupirvar would be patented, the congressman pointed out, creating the potential “to rake in billions of dollars.”
The federal government already has a $1.2 billion contract with Merck to buy molnupiravir at $700 per 10-pill course, reported economic policy analyst Phil Kerpen, the president of the non-profit American Commitment. Displaying a copy of the contract on Twitter, he added that the government holds options for up to $3.7 billion.

I’m trying to examine the compounds in order to verify of this is ivermectin. it’s not clear yet if it has the same molecular composition.
the action of both hydrodroxychloroqine and ivermectin are well known…the antiviral action is related to at least two specific hydrogen bonds that allow efficient transfer of zinc, iron, and other elements that target virus.
it would not be unreasonable to assume this Merck drug does the same thing.

Actually, that really makes little difference since the touted results from early use are slightly worse than those for early use of ivermectin. And the testimony in the video I posted of the amazing and accidental nursing home(s) discovery of its amazing prophylactic properties in extremely old people with large numbers of serious comorbidities is circumstantial proof from the very start of the pandemic.
Thus, why not use cheap ivermectin?

my neighbor ordered ivm from aflcc about 5 weeks ago and still has not gotten it. I worked with her to make sure everything was in order. apparently the hold up is not aflcc but the participating pharmacies who have a supply and demand issue.
should (should) this Merck drug become available and shows no mRNA type concerns …and even if it has less effectiveness than IVM…lots of ifs…but should that happen, this is likely going to be just another way for ppl to get some chances of therapy for illness.

How often do you use it?
We use a large “pea” of Zimecterin 1.87% (NOT the Gold or +) at 48hr intervals only when – and immediately upon signs of nasal infection. We could use it as a monthly prophylactic but see no need in that have excellent immune systems. It is important during symptoms to also use D3, B1, C, 81mg aspirin, Quercetin, and Sambucol. Basically the I-MASK+ protocol.

If Trump hadn’t done what he could to grease the skids for rapid development, the opponents on the Left would have labeled him a “science denier” and “flat-earther Luddite” or some such nonsense. By encouraging the rapid development of a safe, effective vaccine while simultaneously encouraging the use of effective therapeutics, he took away those arguments. The election results prevented him from being in a position to react to the indicators showing the vaccines may not be as safe or effective as they are made out to be. To my knowledge, he is still a proponent of the inexpensive, safe, and effective therapeutics, and believes people should be left to make up their own minds about taking the vaccine.
I want to know the ingredients in it. There are very dangerous ingredients in the Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J vaccines. A LOT of deaths have already occurred, and I am extremely suspicious of another new pill. I do NOT trust Biden and his bunch of fools. They are mandating vaccines for US citizens, but NOT all the illegals pouring into the country. Heck, they are NOT even testing them. The point is that Biden does NOT have the legal authority to mandate a so called vaccine, that kills people, and there have been a lot so far. The State Governors, or members of his Administration, also do NOT have the authority to order people to take ANY of this crap. Do NOT let these darn fools intimidate you in to getting ANY of this crap. Don’t let your Doctors force you either. They get a certain amount of money for each patient that takes these so called vaccines. The same for Hospitals if they are labeled COVID, where they are or not.

I’m not convinced this is just another version of Ivermectin with a different wrapper and here’s why:
To believe that I first need to believe that this is all about the money. I no longer believe that. The urgency and coercion to force the needle of death into every arm is just too apparent to believe this is only about the money. And since I can’t believe this is only about the money I can’t believe that the new wonder pill is to cure kungflu. I can however believe it may be formulated to cure notions of freedom.
