But even the Democrats realized that the American people were absolutely DONE with the failed “nation building plan” that the Bushies, et al loved so much and that it was past time to get out.
However, there was no way they could let Donald Trump, who has been consistent from the beginning that we should not have gone into the ME in the manner that we did in the first place, have the optics of “ending the war and bringing home the troops”. So, they delayed the withdrawal from end of April/beginning of May to September 11th, allowing the Taliban forces almost four additional months, during their prime “fighting season” to plan and to prepare, leading to the events of this past week-end.
Kent said that anyone who has been in Afghanistan could have predicted that it would end this way and it’s all because the Left could not allow Donald Trump to get “credit” for any of it. So now, playing politics has probably cost tens of thousands of lives and has allowed billions of dollars of military equipment and millions of dollars of American assets to be seized, which will be used against us, possibly in the very near future!
This never was part of their plan, to believe this is to overestimate your opponent, as damaging as underestimating them. Watch the apalling scenes from Kabul airport and I can guarantee you that that is now metaphorically happening in his administration. Poppies are used for both morphine and heroin. Morphine is used extensively in medicine. Heroin is used in huge quantities on the street.
Fentanyl is used in medicine, but much less than morphine.
Folks who abuse fentanyl usually die very quickly of overdose. Fentanyl spiked heroin kills many addicts.
Poppies will be in demand for centuries.
They are also stealing
billionstrillions in kickbacks from these spending bills.I thought these people were so smart they could predict the climate 100 years from now.
But they couldn’t figure out that the country they’ve been building for the last 20 years would collapse in a week.
And we’re supposed to trust them that an experimental gene therapy is “safe and effective”. Yeah, right.
And creating trillions of dollars from nothing will stimulate the economy. Values are created without virtue by sheer force of will, the Democrat way.

That last one is beyond irritating. Apparently there was a “gathering” for lack of a better word in the city of Snohomish, WA yesterday – speakers on how to take back our country, how to get involved, various candidates were present who are running for office.
Snohomish is about 12 miles from where I live. Saw absolutely nothing about this meeting, anywhere, or I would have happily been there. Will try to contact the young man speaking in the linked video to get on a presumed mailing list.
