It’s always there, right below the conservative veneer; and if you wait, it surfaces. This tweet highlights the difference between ‘conservative’ corporatism (traditional GOP class), and MAGA pragmatism (the blue collar dynamic).
The disconnect is found in the difference between what looks like a good ‘talking point’, and the reality of workers having to deal with the issue of mandated vaccinations in the workplace. Just quit your job… not so easy in practice.
The SD Governor seems to overlook that entire sectors of the economy are impacted by federal rules, not just individual companies. Hotel workers, restaurants, cooks and cleaners, mechanics, service industry writ large, are subject to forced business owner compliance with regulatory agencies. When the federal government initiates a mandate, all businesses within that sector are hit with the mandate. Switching jobs offers no security or escape from the mandate.
OSHA, the Dept. of Labor, the Dept. of Agriculture, and many other federal agencies create the system. All private sector businesses regulated by those agencies end up forced to adhere to those rules and regulations. Instead of targeting the solution on the employee, which to be fair does have some merit, leading political figures should be constructing their defense of workers by confronting the source of the underlying mandate; not the workers themselves.
Setting aside the reality that forced mandates for vaccination put the most vulnerable employee demographics in a position of agreeing to the jab or potentially losing the roof over their head; what MAGA voters understand better than the elites that fly above them – is their ability to think through consequences, because they have to actually live with them. MAGA people are smart, really smart, and they are pragmatic to the problems they face.
In some ways, pragmatism is on the opposite end of the continuum from ideological decision-making.
It is one thing to say, “defy the system” (ideologically), it is another thing entirely to actually carry through the process of defiance; when your ability to keep your family safe is contingent upon comfortable invisibility inside the same system.
Governor Noem approaches the issues faced from a top-down perspective. Someone like Donald J Trump has shown he understands the issues we face from a bottom up perspective; and that is entirely why the blue-collar working class has connected to him.
This tweet message makes sense for Noem, because she is surrounded by corporate insight, corporate donors and the corporate prism of politics; and that is how detached upper-management would look upon the challenge. Her suggestions ring true from the perspective of a “free trade” economic picture that exists in theory; however, that ‘free trade’ perspective has been destroyed by massive multinational corporations and government regulation.
The free-market economy is a great soundbite, but it doesn’t exist. There are now corporately controlled segments of the economy that work hand-in-glove with Washington DC through money and lobbyists. This is why buying paint (or anything) from Walmart was ok during the pandemic and “essential -vs- nonessential” lockdown, but buying paint from the local mom and pop hardware store was not allowed.
Wall Street -vs- Main Street.
Governor Kristi Noem is at her political core Wall Street (Koch Brothers etc.). Meanwhile, President Trump is at his political core Main Street.
Trump = Pure MAGA
DeSantis = Poltical MAGA
Noem = MagaLite with a twist of Koch and Corporate money
Haley = Anti-MAGA, pure corporate GOP establishment
Cruz = MAGA opportunism / splitter against MAGA
And yet another one bites the dust. Bye Kristi
Build It Back Better
Don’t let them burn it all down in the first place.
They burned it all down against our will when they certified the fraudulent election. Now they call us “insurrectionists” because they are afraid of the pay back.
Crediting a illegitimate Jobama regime with a robust economy and job market which doesnt exist and telling the people/victims of that un elected regime to eat cake is far from purity I think.
Maybe she was at a cocktail party when she wrote that?
You have a point – we conservatives tend to eat our own. We’ve been betrayed so often that we can’t help flinching like a battered wife recoiling from her abuser before she’s been hit.
I thought Noem did a decent job with SD – she didn’t overreact like so many governors. But I have to agree that this statement is short sighted as applied to the real world.
How’d she do protecting women’s sports?
Awful
I don’t think it has to do with purity… it’s the fact that they hide their true selves….
They have NO purity, they just pretend to, as they hide behind faux conservatism…RINOs one and all.
https://twitter.com/EmeraldRobinson/status/1421578772936077317
Maybe time for Noem to lead the way by example and get another job.
?
Sundance,
While Gov. Noem’s statement is perhaps poorly worded, it is true. If your employer mandates a vaccination and it is upheld as “legal”, your choices are somewhat limited. You either get the shot or go work somewhere else. Is there an option that I am missing?
His point is that its a bogus “choice”. If you quit Walmart because of their vaccine policy, and try to get hired at Target, you find that they have a mandatory vaccine policy to get hired. So you try Lowes, and discover they, too, are acting as arms of the government. So, you try a local store, that has no vaccination requirement, and the State comes in and pulls their business license for operating unsafe working conditions. Or, suddenly, the bank pulls the business’ credit line and the first time they struggle to make payroll – such as a lockdown – you’re toast.
People think the restaurant industry isn’t able to hire because of unemployment benefits. There’s truth to that. But the OTHER reason is that if you take a restaurant job, you’re putting yourself in extreme danger at the whims of unelected, unaccountable “health departments” that didn’t care one bit that others were being thrown out if work. It’s not like the useless cat ladies running the Health Department were losing a day of pay.
The Government has found it’s workaround for the Constitution: the “private sector” enforces government orders that the Government cannot. Small businesses less likely to be enforcers are”locked down” in favor of Walmatargetlowes Depot which hate you and don’t care.
Noem’s comment is tone deaf and cruel. She is wealthy and will never miss a paycheck. If she lost her election, she’d get a 7-figure lobbyist gig and TV appearances on Conservative Inc. media. “Essential” employees generally don’t give a damn what happens to people who they have literally deemed to be NOT ESSENTIAL.
“Nice family you got there….be a shame if your job prospects dried up and you couldn’t feed, clothe, or house them.” – K Noem
I am sure she is also pro Jab.
Exactly. Among other things, she acts as if the situation is frozen time, as if employers who aren’t mandating the vaccine will remain so. But of course they won’t because the government will leverage enormous power to pressure them to mandate the vaccine. It will be an ever-moving target as employment options shrink and shrink and shrink. The left is really closing in on all fronts.
It’s even worse than a mandate. What the government will do is shiv you…get the bank to deny you credit…then deny your vaccine policy had anything to do with it. Or they’ll get some of their goon squads at Lawfare to sue you for vague “discriminatory practices” which you can’t afford, and the restaurant is your family’s income. They don’t give a crap that your business of 40 years has to close. Left wing Starbucks megacorporations will swoop in and level the property, and donate far more to the Government Party than your small business ever could.
“The Government has found it’s workaround for the Constitution: the “private sector” enforces government orders that the Government cannot.”
It’s never a good thing for the little guy when the government gets buddy buddy with big business.
It’s the resurgence of Fascism through the use of corporate fascism, the work around that Mussolini perfected .
Governor Noem was a bright spot for a while; it really doesn’t matter if she was originally MAGA and bought off by the GOPe wing of the Uniparty or was just using MAGA to go along, get along, the deal is done.
If it hadn’t been done, as Emerald Robinson so clearly points out, the media would still be hounding her to hell and back just as they did, and still do with Governor Palin who didn’t buy in to the big game.
great futher explaination that Sundance summarized in the post.
trying to move from any multinational company to another is bound to have the same restrictions. Even if you are skilled enough to switch industries, those will likely have same restrictions.
Lastly, if you are flexible enught to relocate from Demonrat crap hole to a “open” state like Florida or SD, you will have to find an employer that has courage to push back on this marxists rules.
In other words, Noem statement is just mostly unactionable talking point – sophistacted political bs.
Its reall quite sad as I had high hopes for her.
There are fewer and fewer “work somewhere else” locations everyday. That’s the Democommunsits and Uniparty plan, that’s what they want, and Harris/Joebama are putting the pressure on companies to carry out their plan for them.
Clyde: Yes, the option is to be an American, say “no,” and damn the torpedoes.
I think that is exactly what Gov. Noem is saying. I will never take a mandated vaccination, neither by the government nor a corporation. It is easy for me to say, because I am retired. But were the Federal government issue a mandate, I would not comply.
What’s the possibility that ALL federal “benefits” would be mandated to be contingent upon they having you registered as a vaccine subject? In other words, Social Security, Medicare, federal pensions & healthcare provisions, military payments of all kinds, etc would STOP unless you had taken the vaccination. In THIS climate, with THIS cast of clowns, this scenario may become fact tomorrow!
That possibility is extremely remote for the simple fact that it would trigger a true insurrection, at least it would for me…hypothetically. Even this cast of clowns recognizes that scenario as a recipe for disaster.
Clyde: Actually, I don’t believe the employers have a leg to stand on. They will cave in a heartbeat, because they don’t want the negative publicity of firing employees. Plus, employers will get sued and they will lose.
I agree, in part. If enough employees refuse, it will end. But unless mandates are specifically mad unlawful by State Legislatures, employers can fire anyone they wish to, for any reason. Not a lawsuit you would win…sorry.
Nobody will ever find out. The media would never report it, and the people who get fired get replaced by compliant South Americans crossing the border by the millions.
Oh, please. “Nobody will ever find out” is a pretty silly statement – it simply does not fly anymore in today’s environment.
The 100+ million PDJT supporters have learned by now where to get trusted alternate news and they are heading to the good sources in droves.
Granted that still only a stellar few sources have analysis anywhere near the level of this site. But less in-depth sites like the Bongino Report will certainly cover pushback against COVID-1984 tyranny that you describe – they’ve been doing it ever since inception.
One of our jobs to keep the MAGA movement alive is to introduce more and more people to these sources. We can at the same time help them learn to discriminate which ones are best.
Until the government ties your Medicare or social security to vaccination…
<…the option is to be an American, say “no,” and damn the torpedoes.>
Yes…The Admiral Farragut Solution 🙂
Hey guess what? When you go to the bank for an SBA loan figuring you’ll just start your own and you need some capital to buy startup materials they ask to see your vaccine passport…bank policy, you know…and darn if there’s no money left! What a shame.
Then you finally scrape some money together, but you can’t seem to get your business license. Or your great go it alone idea requires travel on an airplane, tough luck.
Or you open that store, but the government notices too many small businesses are open unvaccinated. So the CDC releases a “peer reviewed study” that could is rampant in small businesses. The state orderslockdowns – “hey were ‘just’ following Cdc guidance” – and send 10 sheriff deputies to board up and padlock your store.
That happened all year last year while Walmartargetlowes Depot stayed open.
Perzactly!
What if you work at the only hospital in your County.
For 18 months you have worked with COVID patients. You had COVID yourself.
Not good enough. Now you must get the CLOT SHOT.
WRONG….. it is experimental.
Time to protest our GOVERNMENT overreach!
My body, my choice!
Spot on, Clyde. Note Sundance, who I greatly respect, occasionally goes a bit Idealistic. Once you pass DE Santos and Noem where do you look for hire aspirants to Trump. Both Governors and both practicing MAGA in their corner of the universe. I don’t see any others. Maybe I am missing the message here but I don’t see the third choice. Refuse to comply and agitate? Ok as far as it goes.
Totally agree on the assessment of both Cruz and Healy.
Sundance is 100% right here. Noem sold out. Republicans are spineless. They don’t fight like the commie democrats. They roll over. We are on our own.
Examples please. Not asking for supporting documentation. Your opinion is as good as mine but would like to see where she “sold out”.
I always ask my progressive brethren for examples of “He Lies!” when they talk about President Trump. So far no answers.
She could have issued an executive order barring companies in her state from mandating vaccines, any tax breaks they get are revoked, and they are told to close their door and leave the state if they don’t like it.
IOW, play the same game in return: if you don’t like it, you can leave SD.
Instead, she protects the companies and puts We The People on notice. This is a subtle reminder by Noem that you’ll either get the jab or lose your job.
That’s what sellouts do.
Seems to me she is being consistent. Letting the people of her state make up their own minds. She refused to issue mandates and left it to personal choice to mask or not and business to require masks or not. Now she is leaving it up to the individual whether to work for a company requiring Vax or go someplace else. She doesn’t believe in government interfering with self choice. neither those you agree with or disagree with.
Personally I like DeSantis’ approach of fighting back and baring Vax ID’s or requirements. Works for Florida but Kristi governs SD.
By the way notice DeSantis is only given a “Political MAGA”! Hmmm…. ?
I disagree. Assume it will be the big box stores at the forefront of forcing vaccine mandates.
In any case of a multinational corporation today, the simple fact is that it is a fascist entity, and our current regime is working with them, Big Tech, and Big Pharma to circumvent our Constitution.
I came from libertarianism and understand fully the importance of freedom for companies to behave as they wish in a free market.
But today’s situation in the USA is so far from that ideal free market as to be somewhere on Pluto.
Hold on there, who’s “we”?
I am not on board with “passing” DeSantis.
I admit that this article has given me great pause on Noem.
But DeSantis is still one of the best, if not the best, governors we have who fight against COVID-1984 tyranny.
There won’t be anywhere to go.
How about she fights like a democrat would?! How about fighting against medical fascism for the people of South Dakota?! Remember, election laws were broken in Pennsylvania and Georgia. Democrats don’t care about laws.
“How about fighting against medical fascism….”
Well she did refuse to issue mandates during the pandemic. Only one I believe. She shared all the info she had and let the people of her state make up their own mind on what to do. Wonder what Trump would have done had he been a state Governor?
I believe that was to keep the SD Chinese meat packing factories open. She also relied on the covid therapies the powers that be kept from the public.
Sundance, this is aside the point but I’m very curious: what is the latest on John Durham? Will he exonerate everyone in time to help the Democrats in the 2022 elections?
Durham’s job is to hide what happened.
At least she showed us her colors now and not after we gave her higher office.
But still, does ANYONE in the R party stand for the people?
No.
No, no one does.
We’re on our own.
She has been over on the dark side for the whole year.
This is just the most current example…..remember the NCAA?
The digital election steal has been in place for at least 12 years …… there are key, incumbent pols who know they were inserted into their position, not elected.
Some state legislators still do. I think.
The “tell” came with her flip flop on transexuals and girls’ sports.
No. There are none, nationally. The GOP is nothing but backstabbing duplicitous traitors, and I cannot believe we haven’t collectively at the grass roots level started a new party.
It never was a party for the people. Not then. Not now.
They faked it to get extra $$$ in terms of campaign donations.
The GOP only became a party for the people because DJT ran as a Republican and not some third party. He hijacked them and they don’t like it.
Donald Trump, as strange as it probably would have seemed some years ago, is a MEGA MAGA HERO for We The People. NO ONE in the bureaucracy or hidden halls of power is happy about this.
Robust economy? What country is she referring to? What about the teachers in my town that were forced to vax to keep their job? I suppose they can take their credentials and set up a private law practice. This woman has always reminded me of Ted Cruz in a skirt and hair extensions.
Perhaps she’s gloating over South Dakota’s economy, where it would be a lot easier to trade up on jobs, with unemployment less than 3% amid robust economic boom. https://dakotawarcollege.com/south-dakota-closes-2021-budget-year-with-a-85-9-million-surplus/
Possibly. Yet, here in Texas we have had a robust, thriving economy since forever but cannot imagine Abbott uttering such stupidity.
Don’t let Abbott fool you. He’s all establishment Republican who has been talking tough recently only after former Texas State Senator Don Huffines announced his candidacy against Abbott. Abbott just started espousing finishing the wall which is out of Huffines’ playbook. Abbott is nothing but a RINO. Don Huffines is Texas first.
Go West Go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Col West is a Bush acolyte intending to split the vote. Glad he fled Florida. Yeah Go West …Go away!
Yes he can’t be trusted. Globalist Marxist Bush Crime Family connection.
China connections too.
Globalist Marxist covers that.
Abbott is a Bushie. Even I can see that and I’m not a Texan.
Also, Texas….please defeat George P Bush.
I am very aware of who and what Greg is. He is just smart enough to say enough to get the right people on his side. During the pandemic you couldnt find 5 people that liked him, now he has convinced folks he is the best choice for governor. I will be researching Huffines but the huge war chest belongs to Abbott.
And dont forget the Trump endorsement, too.
I think as the campaign continues, and true colors start to show, I predict that Trump will change his MAGA endorsement to Don Huffines.
Exactly!
It’s exhausting to have to look for a new job when you wouldn’t normally have to. It’s risky with respect to whether you’ll find one that pays as well as the old one. It means ramping up the learning curve which is draining, especially for people who have families and other responsibilities. It means losing whatever seniority you had. It means, potentially, giving up having a job that required specific skills that a person has built over time and which they perform with pride. I could go on….
If I quit I better have some savings in the bank to get me through till I find another job and wait for that first paycheck.
Sorry, Noem is way off on this one. She should be going after businesses that would violate people’s right to privacy and medical autonomy. The Left takes bakeries to court that refuse to bake cakes for gay or transgender people and try to shut the businesses down based on violation of some federal discrimination laws.
Yet, Noem, like all RINO’s, actually has the cajones to tell the individuals whose rights are being violated to be brave, take the risk, find another job. What does that do? Let’s the private sector pushing this anti-American, unconstitutional crapola off the hook.
This has nothing to do with being a ‘Purist.’ That is a false premise. Going to the mat for the people you are elected to represent when a huge wrong is being committed against their best interests, is what she is paid to do.
Noem Antoinette’s ‘let them find another job’ tweet ‘ is as bad as it gets. May God have mercy on her soul.
except she IS a US citizen
Brutally true. Well said! 🙂
Spot on. Ted Cruz is out there fighting for the rights of the vaccinated to not wear a mask.
“Progressives that drive the speed limit.”
Utterly disgusting. American workers who don’t want to get vaccianated are being put in an impossible situation with employer mandates. So many are already struggling so much and now we’re just supposed to quit our job???
Oh, hold. I can hear now. Off in the distance. Someone is saying “no worries!” in a ridiculous high pitched childish voice.
While millions of Americans are struggling to pay their bills under the unbearable weight of the economic destruction that has no end in sight, this so-called conservative leader wants to claim that people have a choice? Seriously? Sure, I guess technically they do. They can choose to quit their job and face the uncertainty of finding another one, no less one that will pay as well and/or one that will utilize their skills. Unbelievable. (If only.)
Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, it has now become apparent why the Mayor of DC delayed the mask mandate. The transparency of their self-serving evil is on full display, but so confident are they in their power that it matters not.
https://www.dailywire.com/news/people-wondered-why-d-c-mayor-delayed-new-mask-mandate-until-saturday-now-we-know-why
Kristi’s statement sounds along the lines of . . . “Let them eat cake.”
Or saying, “Learn to code.”
In light of the great difficulty in finding suitable new jobs, and the great unlikelihood that any future employers will not succumb to one extortion or another to require jabs, what she is proposing is rapidly becoming not only a dismissive untenable argument but an impossibility cruelly uttered.
Hence, my new formulation:
Let Them Eat Unicorns
Marie Antoinette would approve . . .
“Cruel” is spot on. Bot the message and the off-hand glib way in which it is delivered. The hate that is lobbed at us every hour of the day is overwhelming.
You’ll never get perfection out of a politician, just aint gonna happen. I grandfathered into the international iron workers union about 3 years ago. Decent pay, bennies, and pension… $62.00 per hour, 1.5 after 8 hours. I walked the first day I was told that I had to wear a face diaper and haven’t been back. I don’t blame the union nor the employers per se, they have to follow rules to stay in business too.
If you mainly contract from the gov., you ( your employees ) either follow follow their rules or lose the contract. Lose your contracts and many will lose their jobs.
Gov. Is so big that they make one rule for all. I was told to wear a mask while hanging iron 200′ in the air with a ” social ” distance of 100′ when it was 100 degrees out. Nah….
the more she talks recently, the more i am convinced she has no idea what it means to struggle.
The news hasn’t reached South Dakota yet that the vaccines don’t work.
Even Slow Joe gets it, but not wispy Kristi.
Pity to throw away a political career chasing a phantom.
Nice moniker.
Several of her recent statements have contradicted the image she has crafted for herself since becoming SD Governor; and she was not in Trump’s corner in 2015-2016, said he “is not my candidate,” all as Congresswoman Kristi Noem.
I will be facing this very soon. I work for a government contractor. This is not a mental exercise. I will have to decide between job or the risk of the shot. Being a Christian has helped me control my anger. But make no mistake, I am furious at what they are doing to us.
Somewhere in the Bible must be a passage to support refusing as it violates your faith.
But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than any human authority” (Acts 5:26-29).
Except when it is in direct opposition to God!! We are to Hate what God hates! God hates injustice. God hates abortion! God opposes the proud!
Like the whole “Mark of the Beast” thingy?
The Nuremberge code:First provision of Nuremberg Code: • “voluntary consent of human subject is absolutely essential” • Subjects are made fully aware of nature and purpose of research • Persons involved have the legal capacity to give consent and Consent is voluntarily given.
Informed Consent • Description of any risks or discomforts and benefits to subject. • Disclosure of appropriate alternative treatments if any exist. • Describe protection of confidentiality of personal records. • If there is risk, describe precautions and treatments available.
No Medical Authority or Government has a right to enforce a Medical Procedure on anybody else.., (or engage in any kind of inducement or force, to anyone else for that matter)
PERIOD !
It seems somewhat odd that there are not already lawsuits going through the system. I suspect there will be when mandates become more common.
Lawyers like the judges have cucked
Great viewpoint on INFORMED CONSENT here…
https://wirepoints.org/vaccine-proponents-would-be-wise-to-remember-a-key-doctrine-of-medical-ethics-informed-consent/
I believe if your faith is Islam you might stand a chance of avoiding the jab, However, I haven’t heard about Muslims objecting to the jab. Both Islamists and Democommunists are into totalitarianism and control so maybe they’re all on board with the shot.
Muslims have been amongst the most resistant to abiding lockdowns and social distancing.
Don’t know their take on jabs, but being disagreeable and murdery in general grants one more leeway than others.
Any actual Muslim believes that only Allah,s Law , passed on by Mohammad , is to be obeyed. …….. A Muslim may obey other Laws only if that is necessary to lie and so get to the position of power where he can kill all ” Infidels “. ….. There are no ” Radical ” Muslims , only those who ” Go along to get along ” and Muslims who follow their Book.
“disagreeable and murdery” … ?
I cannot speak to the legal validity of this but it was a very interesting read – hope it is helpful.
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2021/07/allan-stevo/employer-wants-me-to-get-the-vaccine-what-do-i-do/
And, I am SO sorry that you are being forced into this choice. I am thankfully retired but I have several friends and family members who know they are going to have to make this decision very soon and it is wrenching. Chipper, snarky, superficial Tweets like Kristi Noem’s are beyond infuriating! She’s evidently as clueless as the rest of the GOP-e…
That’s awful. I think there are more and more lawsuits cropping up about forced vaccines/employer mandates. Might be worth doing an internet search plugging in your state and other key words. I hope and pray you will find a path forward that enables you to remain employed without having to have something injected into you that you do not want. It’s utterly surreal that any American is facing such a thing.
Here is a link at Life Site News that may have some useful information for you:
https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/what-to-do-if-your-employer-school-or-parish-demands-you-get-the-coronavirus-vaccine/
Also, when Americas Frontline Doctors held their 1 year anniversay of the White Coat Summit they introduced a team of lawyers they now have working on their behalf. I’m not sure about the scope of what they’re taking on, but it might be worth visiting the AFLD website and checking it out.
Prayers to you…
Bryan, these people posted exemption letters- maybe one applies to you?

Some people say the vaccine companies use fetal cells from aborted babies.
Some say that they don’t. I think that they do.
https://www.nebraskamed.com/COVID/you-asked-we-answered-do-the-covid-19-vaccines-contain-aborted-fetal-cells
I understand Fetal Cells were used as ” Targets ” in the development . …… I don,t know if they are components.
HEK somewhere in the chemical makeup means it came from aborted fetal kidney/renal cells.
I’m horrified, and it’s making me question my faith 🙁
Here’s a few things I have or others have posted before.
https://vivabarneslaw.locals.com/upost/889925/vaccine-mandate-protest-letter
https://www.deconstructingconventional.com/post/how-to-overcome-the-pressure-to-get-a-covid-vaccine
I had a video but can’t seem to find it. It was a college student who was able to stop them from mandation, I believe she called for religious exemption from the use of aborted fetal cells that was used in the vaccine.
Does anyone have any documentation on the vaccine manufacturers’ use of aborted fetal cells?
As far as I can tell, the vaccine itself does not contain cells from aborted babies, but such cell lines from aborted fetuses were used in the development of the vaccine.
https://www.cnsnews.com/article/international/michael-w-chapman/vatican-says-covid-vaccine-made-cell-lines-aborted-babies
Saw elsewhere for whatever it may be worth. I like the idea you aren’t refusing simply asking for additional info and clarification.

The secret is NOT to refuse it…
A friend in the NHS is being pressured to take the jib.
‘I write with regard to the matter of potential covid vaccine and my desire to be fully informed and appraised of ALL facts before going ahead.
I’d be most grateful if you could please provide the following information, in accordance with statutory legal requirements:
1. Can you please advise me of the approved legal status of any vaccine and if it is experimental?
2. Can you please provide details and assurances that the vaccine has been fully, independently and rigorously tested against control groups and the subsequent outcomes of those tests?
3. Can you please advise of the full list of contents of the vaccine I am to receive and if any are toxic to the body?
4. Can you please fully advise of all the adverse reactions associated with this vaccine since it’s introduction?
5. Can you please confirm that the vaccine you are advocating is NOT ‘experimental mRNA gene altering therapy’?
6. Can you please confirm that I will not be under any duress from yourselves as my employers, in compliance with the Nuremberg Code?
7. Can you please advise me of the likely risk of fatality, should I be unfortunate to contract Covid 19 and the likelihood of recovery?
Once I have received the above information in full and I am satisfied that there is NO threat to my health, I will be happy to accept your offer to receive the treatment, but with certain conditions – namely that:
1. You confirm that I will suffer no harm.
2. Following acceptance of this, the offer must be signed by a fully qualified doctor who will take full legal and financial responsibility for any injuries occurring to myself, and/or from any interactions by authorized personnel regarding these procedures.
3. In the event that I should have to decline the offer of vaccination, please confirm that it will not compromise my position and that I will not suffer prejudice and discrimination as a result?
I would also advise that my inalienable rights are reserved.’
The point being though, is that they CANNOT provide that information but you’ve NOT refused…

Will Gov Kristi Noem resign in solidarity?
Sounds like she is going full Cheney.
Never go full Cheney!
And didn’t one of our own Treepers just move there, to get away from this same crap in Oregon?
Kinthenorthwest is working on it.
Still, no comparison between the generally MAGA SD and utterly whack Oregon.
Isn’t it better to let them fire you and then sue?
She was always beholden to her corporate paymasters. Big Pharma is another wad of bills in her wallet now.
The huge majority of Covid19 cases in SD were because brave Noem wouldn’t shut down the Chinese-owned Smithfeld Processing plant early on. So China would be thrilled with Noem as well as BigAg in 2024. Never forget Noem is only successful regarding the pandemic for what she didn’t do ( no-enforced mandates or shutdowns), which is her normal operating mode.
Also see Sundances excellent synopsis of Kristi’s good friend John Thune, whom she wouldn’t run against in the senatorial race, both multinational Big AG.
And she did it in a state where it was easy to do nothing and say all the right “conservative” cliches without pushback. The moment she hit some troubled waters (eg. the NCAA mess), she caved instantly. When all is said and done, she’s a pretty little lightweight.

I don’t think we can all live in Florida w/o it turning into NYC.
After reading a few of “onehorse’s” comments on this thread, I’m convinced they are a Naomi staffer.
A Politician achieves nothing if not elected. …….. Non can be as pure as the driven snow. …….. All make mistakes . …….. My only knowledge of Gov. Noem is what I read on this site. …… Most of this is supportive over time. …… Would an untested alternative who claims to be better actually be better.
Lest I misunderstand your intent would you please elaborate as to exactly what you mean?
Or should I conclude you are here just to hear yourself blather on?
Imo, this is a worthy purity test, OneHorse. Instead of pushing back on the employers in her state, or, God forbid, stepping up and saying there will BE NO VAX MANDATES in SD, as DeSantis did in FL, she’s telling people to “just find another job” if they don’t want a jab. That’s much more than a minor character flaw. She’s making a choice to prop up the employers in her state at the expense of the workers. Not MAGA, not by a long shot.
I think the comparison to a gerbil goes too high…
She keeps falling. I thought maybe a cabinet position in a second Trump administration but she’s going for Pence/Haley team. What a disappointment, but the cave on transgender sports revealed she was not the person of conviction she tried to present.
I propose we toast the great Kristi Noem, so please pour yourself a nice big cup of Black Rifle Coffee, and drink away!
😉
It’s as if these powers-that-be are herding us into the corral so they can institute their removal of the 2nd Amendment. The more we comply with these ‘mandates’ which are not laws passed by legislatures and signed into law by governors the easier these power moguls see the ultimate takeover is within their reach.
It’s still hard to believe this has gotten as far as it has.
Glad she exposed herself early on.
Dig that hole RINO….too bad, you could have gone far.
It probably was never pragmatic to start a third party, but I wonder if we’ll regret not doing so.
The GOP just doesn’t get it… or they don’t care… which is even worse.
The GOPe and the RNC are on the other side.
Expecting anything good from them is foolhardy.
Their time has come and gone.
Read CTH.
To think I once thought she had the potential to do this country some good in higher office. Sad. Sigh….
“And if you’re not doing anything wrong, why do you mind if we read your mail?”
No surprise. A squish.
Noem is a global corporatist wearing an AF skin suit. South Dakota, through its regulation on Trusts, makes it ground zero for overseas entities to park their money anonymously in the US. And they foreigners enjoy lower capital gain tax rates than US citizens enjoy. Bust those Trusts open and you are going to see ungodly amounts of CCP money. Along with all kinds of money belonging to the enemies of the USA.
Here is an article from The Guardian. The link is to a archive of the article at archive.is so you don’t give that rag clicks.
about 5 years ago it was reported the rich of the world had $75T in liquid assets on hand at that time…with the increased concentration of wealth I am sure it is near double that now…this does not even consider their hard asserts that they are scooping up at discounted rates during this economic struggle for the middle class and poor
Governors have never impressed me as being the cutting edge of pragmatic intelligence. In fact, quite the opposite.
All comes down to the vote. Primaries are where the parties work their horse trading, and the elections are where the parties ply their vote-stealing. The latter is what dulls the desire to be a participant in the former.
Paper ballots. PERIOD. The nation will not stand if we do not move to PAPER BALLOTS A.S.A.P.
So what’s the tally – Won’t go to bat to keep men out of woman sports and now won’t support working Americans keep their jobs against coercive businesses demanding employees take an experimental dna altering drug which seems to have a less than 50% efficacy. I’m done with this lefty COC snake….
NONE of the current lot of GOP or republicans are for us. Not one.
She even credited Joebama with a “robust economy and job market” that doesnt even exist.
Want to mandate vaccines? Put your financial butts on the line, employers. Assume 100% liability for any and all injuries from vaccination now and in the future with no weasel clauses. All known side-effects of the vaccine must be attributed to the vaccine, ala Agent Orange.
That’s quite a good idea. Go into the supervisor’s office with a letter stating that you will only get the vax if these conditions are met:
1) Employer must guarantee that they will assume all costs incurred by you should you have ANY side effects from getting the vaccine. This includes any potential treatments not currently paid through your insurance but may assist in your treatment. It’s to include any physical therapies needed.
2) In the event of death, your spouse/family will receive your full pay until you would have reached age 65 and would be retiring. This is to include bonuses and COLA increases. The pay is to be as if you were still living. All insurance coverage is to be made available to all of your dependents until age 65. (change if you want to retire before that)
3) If you get the vaccine, employer is to assume all educational costs needed should you be unable to work at your current position post vaccination. Should pay for the new position earn less, employer will pay the difference to meet your salary and to include bonuses and COLA increases until retirement age.
4) This letter must be signed by the supervisor, their supervisor and all the way up to the owner of the company.
5) Include a list of known side effects but not limited to those unknown at this point.
You get the drift. 😉
If you have an attorney friend, have them help drafting it.
Gov. Noem did not lock down SD. So how does the “Walmart paint vs. local paint” apply in her case? I think she is at least putting some words and actions out there. Yes, Ron DeSantis seems to be batting at a higher percentage but I give Kristi Noem credit for stepping into the arena as Teddy Roosevelt would would have said.
Good evening, Mr. Noem.
Dollars to donuts, Reynolds was not born in 88. Hmm, what else could that mean…
In other news, they left tries to desperately label us as “neo-nazis” despite the absurdity of it.
What is not absurd is the idea of the deep state planting people into popular conservative movements and websites to drive a fake narrative.
FYI, Cattlepoker, the 88 in my nickname was merely a reference to my avocational piano playing, while Reynolds is the brand name of my sterling silver trombone, as big band dance music is an enjoyable pastime for me. Sorry but meme writers like you can enjoy your donuts but I made my nickname just out of thin air.
Anyway for at least the last 5-10 years I had to take the flu vaccine and prove it to the hospitals I worked for, even though I was strictly a medical researcher. I did not quit and I did not get the flu but the idea was to protect the patients I might have encountered on the way to my lab studies.
We all do what is needed, and in my case the NIH found someone else (I fell outside the 12% grant rating pay line at the time) to pass along their money to and I was left umemployed although in ‘good standing’ as an assistant research professor at the medical school.
Oh well. I did attend a few CPAC conventions for fun and friendship. I am now semi-retired from medical research and I still enjoy the conservative political way of thinking. Sorry for the misapprehension but I am not driving any fake narrative.
After what she just said, you had better wake up.
She is a RINO-Lite. And obviously paid to play stupid.
She would throw you under the bus in a second if it meant her money mountain got smaller.
She just told us, ahhhh, too bad, so sad, if you don’t take the jab, so what, find another job. ( Eat cake!).
Wake up bud.
Sorry, but what she said is as tone deaf as anything I’ve ever heard Jeb Bush say.
Spot on and please clap ?
She didn’t lock down. But she can’t dine out on that forever.
If she were truly “in the arena”, she would be fighting Corporate Jab-Nazi Mandates on workers and customers. She would have been fighting for Honest Elections for us. She would be drawing chaff and countermeasures–but not a peep.
She’s not in the Arena; she’s in the Board Room and the Faculty Lounge.
Teddy Roosevelt was a rugged individualist and a populist: “It is a peculiar gratification to me to have owed my election…above all to Abraham Lincoln’s “plain people’; to the folk who worked hard on the farm, in shop, or on the railroads, or who owned little stores, little businesses which they managed themselves. I would literally, not figuratively, rather cut off my right hand than forfeit by any improper act of mine the trust and regard of these people…. I shall endeavor not to merit their disapproval by any act inconsistent with the ideal they have formed of me.”
A fierce nationalist, not a globalist: “I believe that a man must be a good patriot before he can be, and as the only possible way of being, a good citizen of the world. Experience teaches us that the average man who protests that his international feeling swamps his national feeling, that he does not care for his country because he cares so much for mankind, in actual practice proves himself the foe of mankind; that the man who says that he does not care to be a citizen of any one country, because he is the citizen of the world, is in fact usually and exceedingly undesirable citizen of whatever corner of the world he happens at the moment to be in.”
An opponent of Corporate Mega-Monopolies: “There is a widespread conviction in the minds of the American people that the great corporations known as trusts are in certain of their features and tendencies hurtful to the general welfare …and in my judgment this conviction is right. When men receive from government the privilege of doing business under corporate form, which frees them from individual responsibility, and enables them to call into their enterprises the capital of the public, they shall do so upon absolutely truthful representations … Corporations engaged in interstate commerce should be regulated if they are found to exercise a license working to the public injury. It should be as much the aim of those who seek for social betterment to rid the business world of crimes of cunning as to rid the entire body politic of crimes of violence.”
and a moral traditionalist: “To educate a person in mind and not in morals is to educate a menace to society.”
Gov. Noem strikes me a Jeb Bush with bigger biceps and better taste in cocktail dresses.
Please clap.
Bully! Well done.
“Gov. Noem strikes me a Jeb Bush with bigger biceps and better taste in cocktail dresses.”
Hahaha! Gip, that caused me to snort my rum up my nose! Good job bud! Heh!
Please read the Declaration of Independence.
Guy: Swap murders?
Bruno: Each fellow does the other fellow’s murder. Then there is nothing to connect them. The one who had the motive isn’t there. Each fellow murders a total stranger. Like you do my murder and I do yours.

Bruno: For example, your wife, my father. Criss-cross.”—Alfred Hitchcock’s “Strangers On a Train”, 1951
“We’re too chicken to force the GMO-Jab on you ourselves, so we’ll just have Corporate Sponsors do it for us! Look, Ma–no fingerprints!”
Love that movie.
Both sides are racing to the finish line from opposite directions, the flag on the hill. I wonder what the internal number is (date/months down the road) they have determined that we have to outlast them for overwhelming numbers of adverse effects steam roll them. I know there are already quantifiable numbers of adverse effects and death, but they are being suppressed. They want us vaxed so we truly are dead men walking and they have completed the end game, the final gain of function.
The upcoming true flu season that might catch the vaxed where a simple cold does them in? Is it 9-10 months from say February/March/April when birthrates plummet if there is a spate of miscarriages or birth defects?
What is the estimated time frame that we have to outlast them? Early spring?
Next spring will reveal the extent of Antibody Dependent Enhancement (ADE) — sensitization of immune system due to vaccine such that it lethally overreacts when encountering actual virus.
Then about three years later, heart failures would really start to kick-in due to the spike proteins roughening cells walls, triggering widespread microclotting.
Kristi just fell further away. I am glad she said it. She demonstrated her disconnect to real life.
If she had said the state would not allow fears to trump rights she would have said the right thing, but she failed to do so.
Bye Kristi!
This is a spot-on article and what I’ve personally experienced from the old corporate GOPe crowd. Noem captures their attitude and it slips out.
How many years did the GOPe praise the virtues of “free trade” and tell the blue collar workers who lost their factory job to “stock shelves at Kroger?”
All while salivating over corporate tax cuts on Fox News.
In Ohio, Kristi Noem would be a suburban corporate type in Columbus or Cincinnati or Cleveland or out of state telling the economically devastated Rust Belt small factory towns like Steubenville or Massillon or Barberton to “get over it.”
Also the editor in me can’t help but notice the word political is misspelled describing Ron DeSantis towards the end of this article.
PS, Jill Biden is still a skank.
Tony — Great Ohio assessment, from a NE Ohio resident. (And a fellow writer/editor!) Sort of has the same ring as, “Those jobs aren’t coming back…”
While Obama used that quote about “those jobs never coming back,” it was also used by many GOPe in corporate settings. Thus, the uniparty.
Or as I say, the New Albany wine spritzer crowd.
They’d never hang at Swenson’s or Belgrade Gardens.*
*References for Akron/Canton area readers.
Agreed — that’s why I said that Noem’s quote sounded a lot like Obama’s. Hillary used the same line, IIRC. Sad that Noem seemed a lot more promising as a conservative initially. It’s disappointing when someone you thought really “got” it turns out to be just another out of touch elitist.
And I know what you mean about the New Albany wine spritzer crowd. I think of them as being in the same food group as PBS liberals. (And while I’m not familiar with Belgrade Gardens, I do know Swenson’s. Been to the original one in Akron, and we just got a new one here in Willoughby… Not bad.)
Maybe instead of hard working Americans looking for a new job for refusing to take the experimental jab, Noem should be looking for a new job in a country that has no constitution that protects American’s freedoms from dictates like those supported by these sellout government pawns.

The SC is compromised. The current corrupt AG of the US could have been on the SC at this time. It’s a transparent view of corruption that we always don’t get to see of the other Justices or would be Justices.
How is being subject to tyrannical corporations any better than being subject to a tyrannical king? Our Founding Fathers would not have accepted this!
We have not had a free market system for a long time.
Hey Noem, why don’t YOU quit your job job?
Asking for Friend
They NEVER ADDRESS the accuracy of the statement, “The vaccine is safe.”
People would NOT be resisting if transparent evidence of this existed and was shown.
They do NOT understand that even if certain platforms have censored the experts, the experts are being interviewed on podcasts that reach millions in total: this experts are NOT anti-vaxxers. They are men and women of science who have genuine fears that because this was all rushed and because corona viruses pose special problems in vaccine creation, we MAY have created more problems than we should be facing, huge short-term AND long-term health concerns.
Treat adults as children and you get resistance….for good reason.
Well said.
Ss usual well put Sundance I particularly liked your classification of the above names. Touché
By hooking up with a Koch, she shows she doesn’t see MAGA as a lasting phenomena.
I am sure plenty of GOP elected officials see things this way. They see that it took a man of steel, Donald Trump, to hang in there while the other side, huge and powerful and even omnipotent, pummeled him in a myriad of ways every day, and even now, out of office.
She doesn’t believe that anyone, including her, can take that…so she has tried to steer a course that makes us think she’s MAGA when she fully understands she hasn’t the mettle to last if she goes that way.
So, we’re left with a woman who found it easy in South Dakota to make herself look MAGA when in actuality, she was just playing the high cards she was dealt. When the deck changed a bit, she folded.
Some legal advice/help on employer forced vaccinations…
*Vacz info starts at about 7:00 in.

There are state regulations too. Threaten their operating license if they fire workers for not being vaccinated.
Let Them Eat Unicorns
A child asked Santa for a unicorn,Santa said at least ask for something reasonable, the child said ,how about a government that looks out for the citizens and doesn’t waste their tax dollars
Santa replied,What color unicorn.
“It is one thing to say, “defy the system” (ideologically), it is another thing entirely to actually carry through the process of defiance; when your ability to keep your family safe is contingent upon comfortable invisibility inside the same system.”
If our Founding Fathers had felt that way and not been willing to risk blood and treasure, there would be no Declaration, no Constitution and NO U.S.A. Have we devolved into a nation of individuals without the wherewithal to stand up for our principles?
So Whiteboard was right the other day.
He was trying to say this witch is a fraud if she doesn’t do an EO saying that these mandates are illegal (or something like that). But he worded it in a double negative that made people think he was a Sorosian Pelosi sniffing troll.
I look forward to hearing him say whatever it is he means now that he’s she’s showing her true colors.
From Sidney Powell’s Telegram account.??????????
https://t.me/SidneyPowell/1493
(watch the video!)
I don’t think you should quit; I think you should wait for them to fire you. Where I live Walmart is forced to pay $14 an hour to find employees and this is not a city. If every employee at least where I live refused to comply and their company fired them, then wait and see what happens when they can’t fill your position. I don’t agree with SD in this instance. So, don’t quit but don’t comply, and see what happens.
Kristi Noem needs to watch the man from Australia (under Tucker), and then ask herself how is it even LEGAL for any company or business or org. to mandate the vax.
I mean, since she’s a Gov. who is supposedly representing “The People”.

Cruz is pushing the Jab hard. He is not America First. He is more Globalist Marxists although he would say otherwise. You can put Lee in the same category. Mark Levin types which have no skin in the game. All talk and no bite.
Teddy is not a Marxists, Teddy is a Goldman Sach-ist.
Although that iworst since the Rick Elites are the ones enabling the Marxists, who do their dirty work.
They have Marxist tendencies. They see large corporations aligned with the Central government.
No its actually the other way around…Marxist Government acting as henchmen for big business.
Large Globalist Corps have Marxist tendencies. They want to be aligned with a central government. America is under Marxist control. It’s happening here. I throw G.S. right in the mix. Cruz doesn’t seem concerned. He is very concerned about masks in the Capitol building.
OK, take Kristi at her word…have somebody on her staff list those employers who allow personal choice.
thedoc00: Great idea. Thus, it won’t happen.
How about this, it isn’t any employers business telling any employee what medical treatment they must have.
pits just plain damn illegal.
anything response other than that needs to be ignored.
If the Federal government were serious they would have the border completely shut down and things like this not allowed to happen. Do the people who make these decisions not care about their own families, their own communities?

South Texas Police Department Issues Public Health Announcement After COVID-Stricken Migrants Seen ‘Coughing, Sneezing’ At Whataburger
>>>> HIDALGO COUNTY, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – The La Joya Police Department issued a public health announcement after an officer approached an undocumented migrant family at Whataburger who told him Border Patrol released them because they had COVID-19.
On July 26 the police department of the small town along the Rio Grande and Mexican border shared details of the incident. They said a concerned citizen at the restaurant waved down the officer. The citizen told him about the family “coughing and sneezing without covering their mouths and not wearing face masks.” Whataburger management also told the officer that they wanted the group to leave as well due to “their disregard to other people’s health.”
In addition to telling the officer that Border Patrol had released them days prior due to their coronavirus status, the family said a charity group had paid for their room at the nearby Texas Inn Hotel. The officer followed up on that information, finding out that Catholic Charities of The Rio Grande Valley had booked all the rooms in the hotel to house undocumented immigrants detained by Border Patrol. He saw a group of 20 to 30 people staying at the hotel who were “out and about.” Most of them weren’t wearing masks, according to the officer.
Police said they learned that Border Patrol was quarantining other undocumented individuals who were COVID positive, or showed symptoms of illness, then handing them over to the non-profit. Catholic Charities would in turn place the undocumented individuals in hotels in the McAllen area as well as La Joya. <<<<<
All this hair-splitting give me a headache. Into the lake of fire she goes with the rest of em.
Maybe by thinking employees will walk out, the employer will back down.
Aside from one’s opinion of Noem, which way do we want it?
How do we play hard ball?
Let them fire you, then sue?
Maybe.
Either its hardball (how I chose to interpret Noem and I can be wrong) or remain employed and seemingly get vaxxed.
Again, if enough walk out, the employer may rethink requirements. This is not a new concept.
I’m just seeing this a-little different, thats all.
Here’s some other advice I saw posted elsewhere:
“I saw some great advice about how to refuse the shots at work. Quite simply, don’t do anything.
When you are asked your status, do not answer until you are asked directly. Do not reply to an email. Do not raise your hand, or volunteer.
When you are confronted, ask for the mandate in writing. Say nothing until you get the written document. Once you get the written document, state that you will need time for your lawyer to look it over. Never bring it up again. When asked where your documents are, mention that your lawyer has numerous such documents and it will take time. Never bring it up again. Continue the stall for as long as possible. If given a date, do nothing. On the date, mention that you would like to go on record that your legal counsel has not finished review.
At this point, you will have created a huge problem for HR. They will either have to back off, or terminate you. Either way you win, as they will be forced to terminate you over a medical issue, which anyone in HR will be terrified to do, and they know it could be a career-ender for them.
I am sure the geniuses here could find many more ways to take this framework and make it extra uncomfortable for the HR Karens.”
Kaco, I’m all for playing hardball if at all possible. This is good.
The employer needs to sweat. So far, I believe Noem was referring to the employee having the advantage.
I dislike “Republicans” like Noem just as much as I dislike any Democrat. She’s extremely deceptive.
Noel’s a good governor.
She’s not the problem.
Noem
She is super PRO JABS that don’t work! She is super PRO BIG PHARMA!
Hate to break it to you, but so is Trump, unfortunately.
Trump is Pro-jab, I mean.
Trump is pro vax and that is probably unforgiveable in my mind. He was fooled, OK, I can buy that. But come clean!
President Trump is pro CHOICE!
Post a single quote (with source) where he supports mandating vaccinations.
Just 1…
Exactly.
PDJT..supported vax -warp -due to fasci & NWO WHO*ES wanted shut down USA for 2-3 yrs and do their reset..THEY BEEN SHOCK WHEN WAX CAME LAST YEAR AND LOTS OF REP.GOVERNORS OPENED BUSINESS….btw… PDJT never said everybody got to get JAB..GET IT FU*KING STRAIGHT !!!! sick and tired how many uninformed ppl are on CTH !!!!!!
President Trump is pro CHOICE!
President Trump is super pro Jab (I don’t agree with him) but he is also pro choice (should be more vocal about it).
Noem should stop these companies from firing people that choose not to be Jabbed.
We elect governors to manage state government.
Not rule over us and their fiefdom.
We do have a problem here, but she’s not it. The trigger happy Drowners are.
DeSantis and the Fl legislature took a different approach by banning vaccine passports. Employers can ask but they can’t require documentation.
Noem is the problem, as the chief executive she could take the initiative to end employer mandates. The clueless apologists are here too.
She’s a GOPe weakling. In the end she’ll bend over for the usual big business suspects
SHE SIGNS THE LEGISLATION!!!
She just proved that she is the problem. Are you blind too?
Not my governor but sure sounds like she’s part of it.
Waffled on transgender sports and the untested vaccine mandate does not make for a great governor. Have a spine, period . No mandates allowed, same chromosomes only in sports its obviously not hard.
Don’t give into pressure groups. Pick a side and stay with it.
Sadly, she caved on transgender sports all together.
So Noem is as bad as Whitmer, Wolf, Killer Cuomo and the rest of that crowd?
There’s lots of color shades in between black and white
Maybe not, but there are just too many red flags that can’t be ignored.
Ying and Yang of the Uniparty.
Ya know, I’ll take her every day of the week and twice on Sundays, over my current Gov. Wolf! Won’t even hesitate!!!
