One of the reasons why the federal mandate for vaccinations will fail will be the backlash and refusal compliance by the blue-collar workforce.
While the U.S. ideological media will downplay the scale of power within the middle-class and blue-collar workforce, they know the true power exists. The team behind Biden might poke this bear to test a reaction, but they will not dare confront it directly. They know that. WE know that.
The 220,000 members of the American Postal Workers Union (APWU) released a statement saying the federal government has no business attempting to force vaccinate the workforce. This union will not be the only one… watch:
PRESS RELEASE – Various media outlets have reported that the White House is considering mandatory COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment for federal employees.
Maintaining the health and safety of our members is of paramount importance. While the APWU leadership continues to encourage postal workers to voluntarily get vaccinated, it is not the role of the federal government to mandate vaccinations for the employees we represent.
Issues related to vaccinations and testing for COVID-19 in the workplace must be negotiated with the APWU. At this time the APWU opposes the mandating of COVID-19 vaccinations in relation to U.S. postal workers. (link)

I do not agree with public service unions but at least in this instance the APWU is accidentally sticking up for its members’ constitutional rights
Or they are trying to extort money from the Biden admin.
Watch and see if, in the next few days, they meet with so-called “experts” who purportedly answered all their questions and they change their position.
Yes, in a day or two it will be the wise and cautious President Joe Biden is right about the grave threat, we apologize to him and our fellow Americans.
What are you smoking?
Susan, Zy’s post is sarcasm.
Poe’s law applies
Zy is talking about what the Union will come back and say after they get what they want from the Government. Unions are crooked as hell, they want money and power, their members are the last thing on their mind.
Likely have ammo in that THEY KNOW what occurred during 2020 election relative to all the mail-in ballots. They are using their leverage to their advantage and I’m quite sure they have some horsepower. No telling what they know…..
NAILED IT.
My local post office employees HATE Donald Trump. I know this for a fact.
So did mine. That is why I took my ballot directly to the Court house and handed it to the election clerk.
Who could have taken your ballot and thrown it away or replaced it
That was my first thought. If the union backs down and endorses mandatory vaccines, you will know they just wanted a payout. If that happens everyone needs to opt out of the union.
I just stated that AFGE is in support of the vaccine mandate. I guess there are mixed messages at AFGE…
https://www.afge.org/globalassets/documents/generalreports/coronavirus/covid-19-vaccine-bargaining-guidance-1.3.pdf
It’s all about the bargaining for themselves. So your gut reaction is probably correct.
Still black people are suffering the worst side effects from the mRNA injections. I can’t unsee the horror of the black woman who has had both of her legs removed and her hands are soon to follow. Pray for her and others like her. These ghouls in the leftist Democrat party has ALWAYS hated black people and always will.
The first wave of those clamoring for the vaccinations is past, now it’s down to folks who have the time to survey the horizon and learn the pro’s and con’s of the vaccines. The longer they wait, the more likely they will decline getting jabbed.
My sister yesterday spoke of her daughters company making noise they are going to demand vaccination to keep their jobs. I mentioned she needs to read the fine print, that I doubted they had a leg to stand on without an opt out clause in it somewhere. In other words never take things at face value no matter how much it seems there is no way out.
If she takes the jab (if she must let it be the J&J as it is actually a more traditional vaccine and doesn’t have nearly the same side effects of the mRNA injections) she may not have legs to stand on herself.
Congress sets Federal wages and benefits, not the Biden administration. Wages and benefits are not negotiable.
BTW, why do Federal employees lean Democrat?
Easy: Republicans give billions of dollars to countries that hate us, then attack Federal employees, and try to reduce wages/benefits.
Democrats give billions to countries that hate us, but are OK with reasonable wages and benefits.
No brainer.
when the stakes are trillions a billion here, a billion there, what is the big deal…. no big deal, everything is negotiable in dc
From memory …….. Didn,t Postal Workers help with the Fraudulent Votes ?
Yup, what’s a changed date between friends, eh between crooks.
Semi-trucks carried phony votes across state lines
And monitoring our communications!
YES. And every instance in using the U.S.P.S. to further a crime is punishable by federal law.
Is it?
OBiden is hard pushing Unions. Daily.
What’s the solution?
– Unions protecting the blue collar worker class
What’s the Problem?
– Big mean old government that is getting side eye from ALL sides of the spectrum.
Set it up, knock it out.
Are mandates of EUA vaccines truly legit? Prolly not… fear of backlash keeps Business from jumping in whole hog.
How to solve corporate hesitancy? Bypass court battles by promoting the Perception that it MUST be okay, cuz the Feds are ‘mandating’ their own workforce.
Then what? Corporate hesitancy via public perception decreases and now that the waters have been seemingly tested by the government, well… businesses ‘fall in’.
But then what?
Gov Unions win the day for their members… mandates are backed off… the little guy, unprotected by such powerful collective bargaining already submitted to their Corporations and got vaxxed to maintain employment.
Voila!
Big Gov wins
Big Business wins
Big Pharma gets better data on vax efficacy based on numbers of people that got vaxxed who were holdouts and prior immune naturally.
Also… Right to Work immediately becomes Right to Unionize as that is the only viable option for self preservation by and for the collective.
Interesting points. Never letting a crisis go to waste.
What they said was conditions for vaccination must be “negotiated” with them. The kickback size required is the negotiation to be undertaken.
LOL! I caught that too! It’s all in the “Negotiation”!!
APWU has a high percentage of vaccine hesitant minorities.
From anecdotal observation, minorities are over-represented in the USPS. Blacks have the lowest vax rate of all groups, they purportedly distrust medical “authorities” because of things like the Tuskeegee Syphilis Experiment Atrocity (rightfully so) and they are refusing the vax (rightfully so).
The idiots pushing the shots may overlooked some things like this. Make sense, these people live in a reality distortion bubble filled with hubris.
I worked nearly 40 years in the aircraft industry, in a right to work state. I was always at odds with the union over the crap they supported. They were constantly donating money to the democrats with no regard to what the members felt about it. So I’m always a bit surprised to learn of union leadership taking a different stand than the one I watched play out for all those years. There’s a lot of clout in the APWU, so that’s a big hit on the demons plans.
Well, it will be interesting to see how many other unions have any backbone left or whether they can easily be. bought by the fake administration that is usurping the power seats of the American Nation.
Don’t fall for the protective perception of unions- THAT is the goal!
Two comments in and here we are pulling for Unions.
Government Unions.
Which is exactly what The Administration wants.
Hurrah! Baby steps…They will add up!
The inclusion of the phrase “at this time” is troubling.
Waiting for their bribe…
At This Time
Currently Available Data
Evidence to Date Suggests
All of that is ALWAYS included. Every statement. Every policy. Every publication.
I defy anyone to find any .gov text concerning this issue that isn’t inclusively ambiguous to the exclusion of all factual statements.
Weasel words.
Standard wording leaving latitude to change position later.
Common, not just with government.
Football is starting to speak up on forcing vax or face getting cut.
Great to see
As he wears a mask to do so
1. Are USPS employees the same exact category as other ‘Federal Workers’ considering the USPS’ status as quasi governmental’ish?
2. Is this a created to be solved problem whose only answer is the ‘Union’? As in alone the worker is powerless but All Powerful Unions can use {the} collective bargaining to protect, preserve and promote the rights of the _little guy, powerless, oppressed, fill in the blank_?
The same USPS that is helping the FBI spy on Americans?
At any rate, I am becoming more outraged than I thought i could be. This entire scheme is preposterous.
The pandemic is over.
The PCR tests, as we’ve suspected, are now announced as crap. So, all those “cases”, who knows what kind of cold people had.
Adverse reactions and deaths from the vaccine are being suppressed in order to keep forcing it on people. This is criminal.
I just read that Pfizer has tested another vaccine that may be helpful for the Delta and are wanting to roll it out.
This really is getting my goat. It takes years to develop a vaccine and test its safety. Pharmaceutical manufacturers cannot keep going on and on pushing meds for emergency use without any liability nor safety record. Now they think this is normal operating business. NO Look, after 15 years Pfizer has pulled Chantix due to side effects.
It’s more than time that effective drugs are recognized and early treatment given for someone who may be testing positive. No more bullshit waiting around to see if you’re the lucky kind that has to go to the hospital to receive palliative care only.
No more operation warp speed vaccines!
Except these weren’t truly “warp speed” –not if the patents were applied for years ago, pre-Covid?
But, yes, I get your point.
So, all those “cases”, who knows what kind of cold people had.
Dino-rhinitis.
Excellent point.
And no push back against others calling it a vaccine.
They allow the “Narrative”.
Can one market “Orange Water” as “Orange Juice” simply because it “Looks Like” Orange Juice?
Answer: YES “Almond Milk.”
Almond growers can do just about anything they want. Big lobby
Excellent point @ Oldschool. Believe it or not, in India almond milk is actually cow’s milk with almonds add (and saffron, cardamom and sugar added according to taste) and is a delicacy. So, I thought, let me get it here (this was many years ago); lo and behold it does have some almond and other ingredients to make it look like milk and there is NO milk in almond milk. Therefore, these people will have narratives for complete falsehood anytime and we have loads of such examples. When it isn’t real cheese, they call it cheese product, another ubiquitous example. There was a SNL skit called “it’s not yogurt’; a spoof on ‘I can’t believe it’s not butter’ about a quarter century ago when SNL was actually funny. Thank you.
Found it, it’s actually, “that’s not yogurt”:
thanks!!!
Agree 100% Kaco, with the exception that “pharmaceutical manufacurers cannot keep going on and on pushing meds for emergency use without any liability nor safety record”. In looking at the number of people who signed up, lined up, for hours, in cold parking lots of makeshift “clinics, crossed state lines to get injected with an untested, RNA altering, experimental drug and continue to now inject their helpless children, their babies in the womb, I fear the old ethics, laws and regulations of the medical/pharmaceutical sectors have been permanently altered. One more institution where rules/laws are not enforced and we become desensitized. In my lifetime, I have never witnessed such a huge population be this ignorant or willfully ignorant. I thought the 60’s were bad with the hippie revolution, but that was only a portion of one generation. This is universal.
The powerful really played this beautifully. They got Trump to do exactly what they needed. They needed the shut down and national quarantine, he ordered it, wrecking the economy he built, they needed hype and fear, he gave them whitehouse pressers daily, they needed to vaxx the population, he lifted long standing clinical trial/FDA regs, they wanted no therapeutics and he ceased talking about Hydroxy. PDJT bragged about warp speed. I remember screaming at him (on TV), NOOOOOO, don’t do that.
However, PDJT sincerely cared, wanted us to get the care we needed and built hospitals practically overnight, sent medical ships to both coasts. That part went untouched by the powerful. They never provided care to the sick.
From the first day of the shutdown, I did not fear COVID, I feared our reaction to it and now the consequences. I fear he opened Pandora’s box.
Perfectly put. Also, Sad but accurate recounting of what took place last year.
Hi, Oldschool, I actually did fear Covid, we didn’t know. I still have a fear of being one of those who suffocate to death with it as I’ve known of others. As time goes on, I have hope my family and I are of the resistant ones. We all did have the Swine Flu when the kids were young and that was nasty. The kids suffered much less than my husband and I did. Maybe we have something in our system due to that that has given us some resiliency.
Somehow there needs to be a pushback against this reckless distribution of these “vaccines” and a reminder of how things should be operating. I might start with the Ohio Dept of Health and their propaganda published re: the vaccine.
We cannot allow standards to go by the wayside.
Didn’t these mRNA vaccines perform poorly on animals prior to fast trials and testing on humans before distribution?
I agree kaco, now is the time to pushback before it goes too far.
I have to admit that initially I was very concerned about COVID, (I still take it very seriously) but knew we were going against all acceptable norms both medically and Constitutionally, so that fear was greater.
May we all remain healthy or recovery completely if we do get it.
“From the first day of the shutdown, I did not fear COVID, I feared our reaction to it and now the consequences….”
Exactly. The reaction was hysterical from the very beginning, and very quickly became the basis for governmental and regulatory hysteria.
They enjoy the power they’ve been wielding and are not going to give it up voluntarily.
Has nothing more to do with covid than abortion does with family planning.
Your last paragraph is jaw droppingly true Sharon.
Don’t underestimate big pharma or over estimate anyone representing us in the “justice system”. The old rules are no longer in play. We are very slow learners.
I don’t see it happening. Big Pharma has been indemnified by Congress.
The place to attack is the institutions or companies forcing employees to take the jab as a condition of employment.
Exactly Talk to the Hand. We have power, we just aren’t using it. When a nurse denied me access to see my 93 YO mom after she had a stroke, I told her the policies were cruel. I then asked her “Do you know what I would be doing if I were a nurse in this facility? I would be organizing my co workers to strike until these inhumane policies were changed”
It can be done. Leadership, courage and organization is needed.
They can if they have specific indemnity clauses right from Uncle Sam.
Also, I’m beginning to believe the drag from EUA to BLA is purposeful. Meaning that in an emergency anythis goes where as daily business as usual is held to higher scrutiny.
Look at news in India- something going on about how they can’t yet use the vaccines donated them because they refuse to indemnify the manufacturers.
And, the Indian Lawyers Association is suing a Dr. Swaminathan of the World Health Organization who discouraged use of Ivermectin, resulting in many, many deaths especially in Tamil Nadu where ivermectin had been used to good effect… but was dropped on WHO advice resulting in 13-fold increase of infections
please continue..
I must admit I was surprised to hear this. I would have figured they would be in lock step with the rest of the goobermint goons. Then reading the press release we find this:
Issues related to vaccinations and testing for COVID-19 in the workplace must be negotiated with the APWU. At this time the APWU opposes the mandating of COVID-19 vaccinations in relation to U.S. postal workers.
It sounds like they really are in lock step, it’s just that their noses are a
littleway out of joint because the union bosses weren’t given a chance to bloviate first. I interpret the term negotiated to mean they were planning on using this issue to leverage more money for labor, which ultimately trickles up to the union bosses.Ha! Once the fruadulent “administration” buys off the union bosses watch how quickly they will advocate thire members taking the Fallen Angels Demon Incubator Vaccine.
People are missing the key part of the statement.
“Issues related to vaccinations and testing for COVID-19 in the workplace must be negotiated with the APWU”
Translated, we have not problem with forcing vaccinations on our union members, but you must first buy us off in negotiations.
I don’t think the Buyden family crime syndicate knows how to negotiate with a union of any kind. I get an earful every time I go to the local post office with a population of about maybe, 2,000. The USPS has been a political football for years. ONLY quasi US agency that has had to fund their pensions UP FRONT. And some ahole creating a “forever stamp.” Geez. What a wizard that was. Kudos to any union that stands up against this BS. Finally.
Byden is in the business of creating ‘good paying union jobs’ … he says it out loud every day.
you’ve heard that ditty about if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em, right?
Why join when you can CREATE?
Why beat when you can eliminate?
China taught the Buydens know exactly how to negotiate: Buy the controlled opposition off.
One more point.
Do NOT forget these aren’t mandates.. these are ‘either/or’ policies.
Either get vaxxed OR submit to masking, continuous testing and obvious social segregation.
My spouse works for a company that is doing the mask and social distancing for unvaxxed workers, same thing but not testing abusively yet. I expect they will and I hope my spouse can just quit… I doubt spouse will though as spouse is sole provider and takes employment quite seriously as means to feeding the fam as well as personal merit.
Don’t let her quit.
Make them FIRE her.
Hopefully you can then sue for wrongful termination and get a better severance payout.
I would happily get fired were it me. Spouse would have a hard time choosing that option. Pride and duty for spouse.
Don’t quit. Make them fire.
The last paragraph says it all. The union is defending their power….nothing more should be inferred. If someone is going to force-vax it will be the union making that decision.
They aren’t defending the rights of any non-vax members.
They really are screwed up right now. You have Fauci citing the India study about the viral load of DeltaDeltaGimmeTheNews in vaccinated patience as proof that people need to wear a mask regardless of vaccination. The lesson? The vaccines don’t work. So why all the hubbub over ill-fated vaccines that seem to be dying on the vine?
They don’t care about facts and nor does anyone reporting on it in the MSM. They will contradict themselves in the same paragraph. it doesn’t matter. Its just repeat, repeat, repeat the simple statement. It doesn’t even need to make sense.
Yup, pure Communism 101 tactics.
The goal is to create division and anarchy.
Then they ride in on white horses to save the day and usher in Totalitarian stability by brute force.
Munchausen by proxy. They make us sick then promise to heal us.
Like the arsonist who is part of the volunteer fire department.
A vaccine that is used in India but, is NOT approved in the U.S.
Stated differently…
A vaccine outcome not possible in the U.S. is being cited as the reason to mask up in the U.S.!
?
Screwed up?
I disagree, this is the plan.
Everyone is pigeonholed on unchangeable traits, people are waking up to the ridiculous nature of that.
We need new holes.
War time efforts.
People really come together for wartime efforts.
Except bad, unpatriotic freeloaders who could not care even a little bit less about your gramma in the home, your aunt with cancer, the boy in the bubble OR that baby with the baboon heart.
Who are these evil people? They don’t wear masks, they don’t have special cards.
Best yet?
You get to HATE people based on their choices rather than their (insert civil rights protected status here).
Its okay to hate! People have choices and studies suggest that there is only one right choice do people making any other choice are actively endangering the ENTIRE country. For real, guys. This is not hyperbole!
New Holes, new pigeons.
This world has become so crazy and mixed up.
Up is down, left is right and I never thought I would ever agree with a labor union. *SMH*
Exactly as they wish it to be. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. Sound familiar?
Right about now someone important at the APWU is receiving an offer he cant refuse. Thats how China has been so successful at corrupting our greedy lawmakers from within. By exploiting the weaknesses of Capitalism
You mean bribes are confined to capitalism ? Wrong-o.
No I dont mean that.
https://www.globalresearch.ca/video-graphene-oxide-a-toxic-substance-in-the-vial-of-the-covid-19-mrna-vaccine/5750340
this 25 min video busts open the covid fraud also explains why people are been forced to wear the mask
it is a must watch
The union is not opposing mandatory vacinnations. All the union wants is a seat at the table (aka to be paid off): “must be negotiated with the APWU.”
Well, the postal workers have considerable power regards the Biden Junta. Unsolicited mail out ballots don’t mail themselves …
Excellent point!
The unions may have a valid role in doing something positive for a change.
Could be indeed. I’m so tired of seeing our side stamp out any possible good thing before it gets started. We can never at least say this or that might be a good thing, or even wait and see.
Nope, we have to go off on vote fraud, unions in general, speculate that this is a power play, etc.
Never can we hope for the best and potentially a word of encouragement to union members who, together, actually could possibly influence their union decisions.
No indeed, best to just be our usual kill the messenger and his horse selves.
It is just like how news people know that only crisis sells. Gotta have murder and maiming in the headlines. Here at the Tree the same holds. If it ain’t bad news wait a minute, we will make it bad.
In almost every other circumstance I would agree with your point.
In fact, I have often accused my fellow Treepers of the same thing, being way too critical of fellow conservatives or others who are at least theoretically on our side.
However, when it comes to any Government Union it is my experience that they are most certainly NOT on our side.
In local elections their members can always be counted on to vote for the Dems, no matter how crooked.
The union members who sit on our school board want CRT.
If you want to see the apex of evil, look no further than the almighty Teachers Union.
Public sector unions have been bleeding us to death for decades. The current situation with the vax is just another way to extort more money for their members.
Exactly!
On this issue I must side with you. The unions are not to be trusted. Yet.
But they aren’t stupid. They’ve managed to pull the wool over their member’s eyes for decades. Don’t think they are just playing for the money. They are cunning. They are hedging their bets.
You know something is wrong with the Fauci Flu story. So do they. They are buying time to see where the chips fall.
I could save them some time. I know where the chips will fall. Not on the side of the “vaccines”.
Anything as large as this union is a mixed bag. There will be Trump supporters in there for sure, even if leadership is Democrat.
Even most people who support vaccination want their right to decide for themselves. Who wants a potential life-or-death decision made for them? This is human nature, beyond politics.
If they force-vaccinate the troops for example, there will be mass resignations, courts martial, injuries and even deaths. Does Biden really want to accept political responsibility for killing soldiers–not to mention postmen?
I think not.
Just one spark….. that’s all it takes to start a wildfire.
The Union is on the take but that’s nothing new, what is new is the spark that just lit the wildfire
of mass revolt this country has been waiting for…. I sure wouldn’t want to be a swamp dweller in either party.
This is all according to the script. The union is in lockstep with the plan. They dont care one hoot about the members. They will bow down when their masters tell them. All according to the plan.
After all the rotten anti-Trump corruption perpetrated by the USPS and their satanic commie-thug union, along with them being all in on helping spy on Patriots, I’d be more than happy to see every last damn one of them held down and vaxxed right in the eyeballs.
LOVE ^^^^
Except we need them to go on strike instead. A massive postal workers strike if they force the vaccine would be helpful.
The massive bureaucracy needed for totalitarian control is now on a collision course with the federal employee vaccine mandate. If a huge number of federal employees quit and/or retire, the tyrants will not have a big enough army of bureaucrat bullies to push everyone around in Biden’s brownshirt utopia. It’s hard to have enough jack boots to step on the necks of peasants when the wearers of those jack boots quit and hang up their boots.
Don’ you just love how the “Law of Unintended Consequences” can quickly kick in?
I’m wondering where the police and firefighters unions in NYC are, on this power grab over their bodies?
Why would anyone just give up and consent to “testing”, when the vaccinated workers have just as much chance of becoming infected?
Why stick a false leper label on yourself for them, without a fight?
This kind of thing is what unions are supposed to be for.
I think the MSM overestimated their ability to cover up the dangers of the “vaccines” after a number of healthy, prominent black Americans took the shot and died.
Not every postal worker is a commie Democrat.
Many unionized workers have union dues taken out of their paychecks whether they join or not, thy may as well get some benefit.
Yes, the Biden Administration has been cultivating the union and the postal workers, but that doesn’t mean the unions won’t have to bow to pressure if enough members put the pressure on them.
I agree. They will not be able to force vaccination. If the do and postal workers go on strike, it would help stop this madness.
Public sector unions like these guys and the disgusting Teachers Union are not friends of the Taxpayers.
They are only out for themselves.
They are the real elites in Blue Commie states like NY where they have salaries, pensions and benefits that private sector, blue collar workers only dream of.
Like everyone else is saying, this is all about negotiating for the bribe.
Heard tonite that the owner of Netflix has given $3m to Newsom’s campaign. The teacher’s union $2m.
The SEIU is zip cuz they are mad about his China Virus policies
My point….the unions may save this country on the slot shot issue
Exactly. We need the workers to resist.
A group capable of organizing and conducting stealing an election, is surely capable of setting up phony covid-19 shots.
I completely agree.
I know NO ONE in real life that did not have very yicky side effects for 2 days from shots.
I know of NO POLITICIAN that had defined side effects plus remembered which arm was sore after.
Funny thing how they forgot to tell some Elitertainers like Clapton and many more… and they’ve been vocal about the bullspit it has been.
How many African American members in the postal union?
Saw my brother in law for the first time in a couple of years.
He is African American and has studied his heritage extensively
When the topic of these vaccines came up he regaled us with the dark history in the US of using blacks as medical guinea pigs.
All the “get the jab” pressure perhaps falls on ears that are sceptical for historic reasons.
The racial demographic for the United States Postal Service is on the Internet. … Some of the Biden Administration proposed policies do NOT seem to align with Traditional Politics in America. … There seems to be a guiding hand, without much understanding of our country, guiding China-Joe. … ‘Trump voters’ are demonized as being hesitant to receive the Covid Shot. [When in fact, the ‘Covid Shot hesitancy’ seems to be across the political and racial spectrum in America.]
………. Information on the Internet indicate, Black and Hispanic people are very hesitant to receive an ‘experimental’ injection.
Minister Farrakhan has called the Covid shot, ‘ Toxic Waste’ ~ a ‘Vial of Death’ ~ being used for population control. … There seems to be a belated political movement, by people across our political spectrum in opposition to any mandated shots for Covid. … There appears to be valid medical information that the shots are not necessary, might not work, and are dangerous.
……… It’s NOT just Alex Jones and Louis Farrakhan making dire claims about the Covid shot, but also qualified Medical Doctors. [The proposed mandates are in opposition to the ‘Common Good’ of our country and the world.]
China Joe seems to be seeking the title Cudgel Joe, by trying to engage in policies found in Communist China, rather than in the traditional politics of the USA. … China Joe may become known as the Great Unifier of America. = Can the majority of actual voters regain our country from Bamboozle Joe and his Bunch?
In other words the union wants their cut before approving vaccinations.
I think this is the first time I’ve EVER agreed with a union group
Just say that you “identify” as being vaccinated. Works like a charm for libs.
And the vaccine is still not a vaccine, remains an experimental drug. And looking at the fake president’s picture, he’s still confused.
Perhaps President Trump should talk to the Tabacco Settlement attorneys who are handling his lawsuits against Big Tech and see if they would be willing to represent the first wave of employees from Google who are being forced to take the jab as a condition of employment. Google, as well as other large multinationals, have a lot of employees and I’m sure they’ll have some who suffer, if not die, from the jab.
As much as I dislike the Tort bar, sometimes you have to use the Left’s playbook and go after them all in the courts.
The postal delivery is in disarray and in decline. I know some long term employees in management who are leaving. Add to that poor service in many situations. The union is trying to stay relevant. Best way is to negotiate more pay for forced vax.
“…must be NEGOTIATED with the APWU. AT THIS TIME the APWU opposes the mandating of COVID-19 vaccinations in relation to U.S. postal workers.”
Words have meaning.
This statement is nothing more than an invitation to negotiate.
If only the American public had someone to represent our interests… ?
(If I say so myself), this is useful information for union and non-union members regarding a statutory aid in opposing employers’ “get the jab” mandates.
Pass it along if you agree: https://www.trevorloudon.com/2021/07/a-tool-for-opposing-employers-covid-jab-mandates-section-7-protections-of-the-national-labor-relations-act/
If you have ever worked in or with the federal workforce you know how these people roll. They will never comply with this. When Bush wanted performance reviews done as a sort of “work for pay” they raised wholly hell. Each employee got to write their own performance review. Holy crap can you imagine doing that in the corporate world? I was amazed then at the push back on that, up to an including complaining loud and clear to their senators. I agree with Sundance the backlash will be audible!!
Nailed it! I knew the unions would step up and quash this b.s. I called it on the article earlier this week.
They had to, whether they like it or not.
Key word “negotiated”!!
What’s there to negotiate if your so concerned about the employees?!!
No forcing period!
I worked for the USPS 35 years. I was a union member all 35 years. I hated to see my dues going to the dems but I knew if we had NO union the pathetic inept bullheaded managers would completely steamroll us.
I wish the union WOULD stand up for the people on this, but it should be no vaccines PERIOD. There’s
nothing to negotiate!!
We will see where this goes.
I agree with a lot of above ,every public sector union member I ever encountered – most often postal employees hated VSGT with a passion ( unlike private sector union members who supported him) . Ordinarily , the the union heads would be bought off to alter their political stance . But I sense this is different , not talking about a political talking point positions here , now telling union members to put their own body’s on the line , I don’t think the political hatred of VSGT and love for Dem big payoffs will convince them to cross this bridge , but who knows .
Is there any science left in DC. The CDC just this week admits that the PCR test cannot differentiate between so called cov and flu something the inventor of the PCR test has been saying all along yet the CDC used the PCR test to tell us that cov cases were high. We now know that the human immune system is 99.972% effective against what ever this virus is meaning that what ever it is it is NOT novel. The human immune system recognized it and dealt with it. KNOWING all of this now this rabid push for the jab that alters the very immune system that was so effective against, what ever this virus is, is insanity. The government and medical community is altering the very thing that worked. If you cannot see insanity in that then you are not a critical thinking Human being.
Craig, it’s not quite that simple.
No, the previous (over 40 cycles!!) PCR test couldn’t tell the difference between seasonal flu and the new virus. That’s great for when you need to boost the “cases are out of control under Trump” narrative.
Sundance has speculated the change in testing protocol was politically motivated to show a reduction in cases with ‘vaccination”.
But Sundance has a habit of viewing things through a political prism. What of the science?
What if the PCR testing was returning false positives for those who hat taken the mRNA shots or been close contacts of same during their month-after-shot spike shedding period? (Almost certainly true).
Trust me, it’s far worse than that.
Trust me?
I’ve called it right and early every step of the way since December 2019:
Now, I expected the mRNA “vaccines” to fail. There was no way blanket deployment could be achieved faster than the virus could mutate. And given the limited element of the virus the “vaccines” were generating for the immune system to recognize, little mutation was required to bypass.
But on analysis of multiple data points, my current conclusion is that the worst has occurred.
ANTIBODY. DEPENDENT. ENHANCEMENT.
Accelerated mutation with those currently “vaccinated” most at risk from the new mutations. Bad. Really bad. (Human science has caused this twice before. But three times? Sheesh!!).
However, before panicking, we need to view the data from Israel and Iceland carefully. There may be a way out of this mess … (Although if you are prone to panic, now would be the perfect time.)
Thanks for the perspective. We need to listen to the inventor of the PCR test. This is a pawndemic. The danger real or imagined is now so clouded that one thing is clear to me and that is reliable information from the media or government is unavailable. So I need to use simplified data and 99.972% recovery rate tells me a lot about this entire matter. There may be a place for the jab but it is not in the population of the healthy. There is a cure and that is ivermectin and possibly HCQ. If a cure exist then the emergency use carve out for the jab is gone. The CDC knows this so they are now pushing for FDA approval. So simply put there is a fraud taking place right in front of us that dwarfs anything the human has seen before.
The Inventor of the PCR test has also called it: Antibody Dependent Enhancement.
Ivermectin is superior to HCQ, but neither is a “cure”. Both just minimize symptoms, and drastically reduce hospitalization and mortality. They minimize risk to those encountering the virus, while allowing them to develop natural immunity.
The question now is how to save the “vaccinated”. For Pfizer it looks like a boring 6 month procedure. But what of the other “vaccines”?
There is one thing I know for certain: you can’t solve any problem you will not acknowledge exists.
Much of the VA is represented by the mailhandlers union. They just reported that the VA now demands vaccination as a condition of employment.
Given the very limited testing of the MRNA shots, it is possible that they will be as safe as agent orange.
We are in the early stages of human trials on a billion+ people.
Stand up against repressive Federal overreach. YOUR voice needs to be heard by YOUR elected representatives.
While I’m sure the Union might flip in the next coming days as Biden’s team begins to leverage them, we have seen this happen so many times.
Nevertheless, it’s just as easy to hold forth hope that people are beginning to see where all this Federal overreach is headed.
Remember the majority of folks don’t wear mask while driving around alone, comparatively it is a small group who buy into all this crap.
I still gotta believe people don’t wanna be push around by a bunch wealthy aristocrats.
The reason the APWU said this had to be negotiated is because if they took a hard line in the sand and said absolutely not, then management could implement unilaterally. Labor law dictates that both parties must sit down and negotiate all working conditions. If some sort of compromise cannot be reached, then it may require an arbitrator to decide. Of course, management may go ahead an implement unilaterally, and suffer the repercussions later. Compromises could include having the employees who can be remote (office workers. that don’t need to be onsite) to stay at home if they don’t want to be vaccinated, or an attempt to provide as much as a reasonable accommodation as possible. If testing is involved, then what happens if there is a positive? That would have to be negotiated. The fact of the matter is, unions like the APWU give voice to an employee that otherwise would have no voice.
I’ve never understood the conservative objection to labor unions. Of course, we understand that in PRACTICE, they tend to be aligned with socialist parties and policies. That is because of the nature of our corrupt two party system. But in principle, labor unions represent liberty and capitalization of labor. Just as people are free to create corporations, and these corporations are free to enter into commerce with each other, labor unions are THEORETICALLLY just people that freely associate with each other to enter into commerce and improve their working conditions. Think of them like a contracting company.
Think of it like this: The USPS works with many different contracting companies, one of them is the APWU. However the APWU is simply owned by the people it represents. Of course there were laws created that give maybe unfair advantage to unions, but this was in exchange for eliminating wildcat strikes for example. The APWU has agreed never to strike, and in exchange for that the USPS must negotiate with them on all working conditions for the people the APWU represents.
Anyway, I’m a strong pro-trump guy. And I dislike much of the far left politicization I’ve seen of labor unions AND major corporations. But this is the system that we have, and we can either tear it all down, or try to work within the framework that exists. I support the involvement of all people in their labor unions as much as possible. Until a better system arises, whatever that may be, this is the best we have. I applaud the APWU for not toeing the democrat party line in this instance and actually standing up for its members. The world is watching and this was a MAJOR pushback on the tyranny of forced vaccinations.
Looks like NTEU (National Treasury Employees Union) and AFGE (American Federation of Government Employees) will embrace it. AFGE in particular basically works for Biden, and both unions owe him for rolling back the Trump policies that they didn’t like.
Although their websites do say much about it, it also look likes (from interviews/releases) that they are on board with CRT training.
Thanks for your well-reasoned assessment regarding APWU and USPS, and the various outcomes that might result.
Re unions in general, your comments are also very reasonable, and probably supported by a great many conservatives.
Nonetheless, I think it can be said that when business cartels no longer exist, then labor cartels won’t be necessary.
Both seek to restrain commerce in their own way.
It’s been the unfortunate practice of governments (knowingly or unknowingly) to create de facto business cartels with monopoly power under the guise that foreign state-run enterprises have an unfair advantage in international trade. Our government frequently caves in to these entreaties. It’s understandable that the workforce would want to counter that monopoly power by creating ‘union shop’ rules whereby only union workers may be hired, which is a significant restraint of commerce in its own right.
Donald Trump was magnificent in his understanding of foreign trade, unfair currency manipulation and all issues regarding commerce in a free enterprise system both domestically and abroad, and knew it well from the side of both business and labor.
There are certain fields where unions are absolutely necessary. Take for instance, police unions. I couldn’t imagine being a cop and not being in a police union. Can you imagine having to decide whether to arrest a local politician or their family member without union protection? Or any police action that is politically unpopular? Shooting a black female that is actively stabbing another black female? Michael Brown? You’d be fired the next day. With union protection, there would likely be some sort of process that would give you a little bit of a fair chance of keeping your job.
On the flip side, a lot of the unions have been completely corrupted. The teachers unions seem to want to create a hostage situation every Aug/Sept by not going back to school unless their demands are met, which leaves a horrible taste in the mouths of every parent. But they should be able to fail a student without fear of losing their job.
Perhaps the answer lies in both parties agreeing to binding arbitration with a neutral party deciding and with “no striking” part of that agreement. If both parties have to present their case to neutral outsiders and live with the decision that they make, maybe they’ll both be a tad more reasonable.
I liked this reply. I’m not a big fan of union politics, but I generally have had positive experiences working with union benefits offices. They have been more flexible on payment deadlines and reinstatement’s in the past in comparison to most employers.
They may be flexible…
but if APWU members are required to take the shot, they’re going to go postal 🙂
So instead of a jab, you will have to wear PPE, i.e. mask. Biden will just get OSHA to mandate it for all workers in close proximity,
As someone that worked for a union, I can understand the reflexive objection. I went from a few private sector jobs to being a member of a collective. I worked on negotiations and various other union related work.
As a member of a union, you are seen as a the lowest common denominator of members by management. It nullifies the individual excellence of an employee. Negotiations are based on the worst members from the management position. The union, of course, sees the opposite. Negotiations commence with each party firmly entrenched in polar opposites. It’s a recipe for disaster.
Add that unions had compulsory participation and their political values were certainly not my own. It meant my union dues were supporting political causes and politicians I abhorred.
I had never worked in a place where my individual excellence was rewarded with an overwhelming amount of work because my union brothers and sisters chose not to perform their duties efficiently and with pride.
The option was certainly to curtail my own efficiency and pride in performance but it simply is not in my nature to do so.
I would rather be physically exhausted and pleased with my performance than mentally and emotionally bankrupt because of compromising my standards.
I appreciate that the union is meant to safeguard your health, safety, wage and benefits. This was not the case for me.
Though retired now, if I ever had to work again it would be in a private sector position where your efforts can be rewarded.
A nice pushback indeed. The momma bear picture is great. I think a lot of the tarnish of labor unions on the right is from an historical law and order perspective that does not encompass the totality of what they do. Early on, organized crime got their paws into them for the same reason people go into politics, easy graft and corruption opportunities. They about brought the big three automakers to their knees during intense international competition but, that is the fault of management for laying down to unreasonable demands on the assumption that the other two would have to face the same labor conditions. But, then there were more than three, many more and the unions actions helped diminish the market share of their employers. Fascinating history but, too little room and time here. I agree that they have their place if properly run for the benefit of employees and with transparency and accountability being the watchwords just like for the organization that is supposed to be run for the benefit of everyone, the government in general. But, now most of the watchers have become cheerleaders. Everything important is decided behind closed doors and no one is accountable. Just like a corrupt union from days gone by. And days still going on for many.
I am NOT a conservative but I can think of some compelling reasons why public sector labor unions are a bad idea. First off, it means that during labor/management negotiations taxpayers are never represented. You have a highly politicized, greedy and often corrupt union leadership extracting endless concessions from government managers who often have the same political outlook as the union and don’t give a rats ass about taxpayer interests or fiscal sanity.
Then there is the problem of getting rid of incompetent and crooked union employees. It is very difficult to fire a public sector unionized worker, even when they are caught commiting crimes like theft of public property or falsifying time sheets or shirking job duties for years on end. Teachers unions are notorious for protecting even child molesters from the consequences of their awful behavior.
You glossed over the fact that union leadership is usually left of center politically. This is a major problem that makes it nearly impossible to drain the swamp. If you can’t fire a public sector union employee then there is no reason why they would obey Congress or the President. That is one of the main pillars of the Left Wing resistance to Trumps policies. They just can’t be forced to implement policies they don’t like such as sensible immigration reform or Presidential directives to roll back regulations.
Finally, even FDR, the demigod of modern liberalism opposed public sector unionization for the same reasons I explicate here.
100% correct. Public sector unions are a HUGE factor in why the US is now a sh*t-hole country, and will never recover its former status while the current UniParty reality continues.
Luckily (?) we no longer have to wait long until public (even private) sector unions are consigned to the ash heap of history (if their presence is not completely erased from ‘official’ history).
I for one welcome our new pragmatic, if vicious, Chinese overlords.
If you’re not a Conservative you’re still not a modern day Leftist, and for that I congratulate and thank you.
The Dems have left you.
Which is why they aren’t winning legit elections anymore. There are only but so many clinically insane monsters in America.
Most people oppose Government employee unions for several basic reasons
If Government employee unions were barred from making political donations, and no member’s dues could go to any cause which the individual member opposes (regardless of how the “group” votes), I think a lot more folks would be okay with them.
I have no problem with private sector unions as long as union membership and dues are not mandatory for employment. Right to work states, specifically.
Anyway, good post, hopefully as MAGA voters sort of wash the self-delusion from our eyes – we no longer have to believe the lies we have been told – we can all take a step back and realize that unions do have a place in our country as a bulwark against some of the problems we are seeing. In fact, I think we conservatives should be encouraging and forming large labor unions in Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc. just to cause them trouble like the Polish labor unions in the 70’s and 80’s wrecked Soviet Communism.
