A major win for voting integrity laws in the Supreme Court today will enhance the ability of all state legislatures, and further define the parameters and hurdles for lower court activists before they can rule against the rights of states to secure their elections.
The 6-3 ruling (Bryer, Sotomayor, Kagan in dissent) stems from a challenge to the 2016 Arizona election reform that banned ballot harvesting (with some exceptions) and nullified any ballot cast in the wrong precinct. Democrats and political activists argued the Arizona rules were targeted to restrict minority votes; however, the majority of the court dispatched that argument and went a step further to define how lower courts should approach claims of ‘disparate impact’.

Justice Samuel Alito wrote the decision [pdf available HERE] and strongly defended the ability of states to put voting rules in place that eliminates voter fraud. Alito concluded the ruling of the majority by stating courts should look at the reason why states want to impose a particular voting rule. Wanting to prevent voter fraud is, Alito made clear, a “strong and entirely legitimate state interest.”
The result is a complete win for the State of Arizona [Brnovich v. Democratic National Committee] and a strong boost for all state legislatures who are currently in the process of creating legislation to combat the voting fraud created by excessive use of mail-in ballots, ultimately the strategy purposefully behind the creation of COVID-19.

Democrats and the installed current occupant of the White House, a cognitively declining figurehead who benefited from wholesale voter fraud and mail-in ballot manipulation, are apoplectic at the decision by the supreme court. Joe Biden issued a statement criticizing the supreme court’s decision to uphold two voting restrictions in Arizona.
“I am deeply disappointed in today’s decision by the United States Supreme Court that undercuts the Voting Rights Act, and upholds what Justice Kagan called ‘a significant race-based disparity in voting opportunities,’” the installed executive decried. All these justices except Thomas and Alito are a disgrace to the constitution and what the founders intended. There are hundreds more appointed judges like them in the lower courts. They all were selected because of their ideological predisposition on politics and how they interpret the law. Most are either radical or liberal. A nation that once prided itself as a nation of laws is falling rapidly into the ranks of a third world banana republic. The courts aren’t going to save us, your politicians aren’t going to save us, and the vote counting machines are fixed. Meanwhile a massive influx of illegal immigration are flooding across our border.

Thanks for that. As much as I find it hard to say anything good about Roberts, Goresuch, Barrett and Kavanaugh, one has to recognize that these three do occupy a circle of hell further down than the other 4, though saying such a nice thing about Roberts just made me vomit in my mouth.
Thankfully, President Trump had an impact on how the current SCOTUS is shaped.
I don’t expect SCOTUS to march in lockstep in one direction or the other.
What I expect is that each justice will assess each case based on their understanding of the governing laws and leave their personal politics out of the process as much as humanly possible.

You would thin the Supreme Court would understand that they have little reputation after rubber-stamping the fraud of 2020 and if they don’t tighten voter fraud laws they are going to keep seeing election cases like the ones in 2020 where they have no good legal answer for doing nothing. Funny how Al Gore in 2000 had standing to sue in federal court all the way to the Supreme Court and won the right for the ballot count Broward County Florida to be AUDITED! Every ballot in Broward County was examined by hand not just by auditors but by teams of County Judges using magnifying glasses when necessary but President Trump doesn’t have standing and Merrick Garland is filing suit to stop ballot audits. For sake of free and fair election outcome for the 6-3 SCOTUS ruking, I have determined the correct Dominion multiplier so the dissenters win. The total must still equal 9 registered voters.
With some minor correction to 3+ decimal points, the 3 No votes tabulate to 1.53 votes per vote. That gets you to roughly 4.6 for the dissenters. The 6 yes votes are counted as 0.73 per vote which gets you to roughly 4.4. So, 4.6 beats 4.4 and the total is still 9 votes.
Carry on with your life.
Unfortunately it wasn’t the complete win it SHOULD have been. Roberts stuck his 1.987 cents in saying the ruling should NOT be taken as a precedent/framework for all such cases and the court would need to examine each of them as they come up. So the Demoncrats will be sure to challenge the GA reforms even though this case should have taken most of the wind out of their sales.
In other words, future rulings are for sale to the highest bidder?

He’s been able to deliver consistently, but apparently the SC simply refused to ignore the Constitution, which in black letter law leaves the handling of elections in State hands. Had they walked away from those black letters, it would have been the boldest sign that the Constitution is dead.
