This is the kind of person that I would confidently walk through the pits of hell for, laying it all on the line. He inspires that kind of trust and commitment. He walks it! Also, as I grow older and have become more seasoned in my faith, I no longer worry about death. Death is only a door to be with Jesus and those He has called before. I never want to come across as macho or beating my chest, and I say this with all humility, if it comes to it, if it takes me to risk my life for my country, I’m prepared to do so. Just as my dad did when he served our nation in the Pacific during WW2. He was a part of “The Greatest Generation”. We have an opportunity today to accept and carry that torch just as valiantly as those on Okinawa and Normandy. Will you answer that call if it comes?
