Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was sentenced today to 22½ years in prison after being found guilty in the 2020 murder of George Floyd. (Story Here) Prior to the sentencing Derek Chauvin made a brief, and seemingly cryptic, statement.

Odd Stuff:
Derek Chauvin lived in the same house for over a decade.
No-one in the neighborhood knew he was a police officer.
The immediate neighbors (7 years) didn’t know he was a cop.
Chauvin never once drove a police vehicle home.
No-one ever Chauvin in a police uniform.
In addition to being a police officer, Chauvin worked at a dance club as security.
Chauvin worked at the club for 14 years while also being a police officer.
George Floyd also worked at the club, also as security.
The club, El Nuevo Rodeo, had a sketchy ownership background.
Coincidentally El Nuevo Rodeo was one of the first buildings burned to the ground in the “riots”.
The prosecution never called the club owner as a witness.
The defense never mentioned the relationship.
George Floyd was busted for passing a counterfeit $20 (that was the reason for the call to police).

I never dug into it but I have a friend who is a non believer in the whole thing as being fake. His key point is nobody is wearing a mask so the video must have been taken prior since it was deep into the covid already.
His opinion was the guy on trial was a participant of the hoax. If he is correct, something is going to have to happen as he would be a loose end that would have to disappear.

To me, the most telling thing is Chauvin’s reticent demeanor all through this…and his decision not take the stand in his own defense. Now, I know Defendants are never supposed to take the Stand, but he was absolutely tied to the tracks and the locomotive was coming. No one would inspect a one dollar for authenticity. Therefore, a counterfeiting operation would more readily fly under the radar.

Let’s see…there I am, senior officer with three other officers attempting to control a rather big and very muscular man who has admitted to “hooping” which makes him very dangerous as my job is to control his efforts to break away from us even when handcuffed, lying face down on the ground while a crowd gathers shouting all kinds of things suggesting at any moment holy hell make brake loose…and there is various videos of me, Chauvin, looking around, waiting for the EMT people to come and offer aid to Floyd, the hooper. Am I scared of this crowd? Maybe. And could this fear of being attacked by the gathering crowd cause me not to employ common sense to look at Floyd and realize I should move his body position to help him breathe?
Why don’t you and those members of his convicting jury (include the muslim Ellision) just switch places with our now convicted cop at that moment and see how they would have behaved, how they would have made decisions.

I watched the entire trial and the prosecutions witness were biased social justice warriors that felt they had a moral obligation to prove Chauvin “murdered” floyd.
Floyd killed himself bcz of his dug use and pre-existing heart condition. I think that the carbon monoxide from the cars tailpipe that was 10 inches from his face had something to do with him passing out & heart stopping. It was entirely overlooked in the trial and shtf when the defense brought it up. Regardless if it was the cause or not-it couldn’t have been good breathing in exhaust for 9 minutes while hooped up on fentanyl, carfentanyl & meth. Sorry not sorry – this was not a ‘murder’.

I interned for 6 months at the Spokane field office of the Secret Service. My primary responsibility was processing counterfeit Federal Reserve Notes into the online tracking system the agency uses to track such things.
I want everyone to look closely at the top left corner of the stack of notes that has been unwrapped.
See the heavy black double dashed line running diagonally? That is an indicator of the sort of counterfeit note it is. I recognize that signature. If the notes were pulled all the way out of the wrapping, you would see red chinese characters on the left side of the note. Those are printed in china, and while I have seen that particular sort of counterfeit note before, never in that sort of quantity. My office would get half a dozen a month, on average. $50 and $20 versions of that note were far more common (look them up, search for “counterfeit 20 bill”)
No one was seriously trying to pass those bills, no one paying attention would be fooled for an instant (pay attention to the cash you get, if you still use it.)
The Secret Service isn’t normally interested in prosecuting a case if that sort of bill shows up in low quantities, but two whole pallets worth? Oh yea, some agent out of the Minneapolis field office is going to open a case for that.
I feel sorry for the poor bastard who had to enter all that into evidence, they are going to be generating forms forever. Luckily that sort of note tends to have the same serial number, so it will be a lot of copy and paste (the forms are all computerized now.)
Note the condition of the cartons (exam tape/cut straps). This indicates that there was no attempt to make a controlled delivery. That is, to allow the consignee to accept the shipment, arrest him (them) and search warehouse/storage etc.
This indicates that either the Secret Service was not interested in the case, or the US Attorney declined the case.

Chauvin just received a death sentence for simply doing his job exactly as he was trained to do. The knee restraint was taught to him to use when dealing with suspected cases of excited delirium.
I hate to say it but Chauvin is an idiot who has an idiot for a lawyer. This was Chauvin’s last chance to plead his case to the court of public opinion – nothing that he could say in that court room was going to sway judge Cahill’s decision which was made before Cahill stepped into the court as evidenced by the stack of papers he displayed. Instead all he had to say was offer condolences to the Floyd (a waste of breath) and to make the cryptic nonsensical remark.
The message is clear to all white police officers. They need to find another line of work fast before they end up getting lynched.
Chauvin is still in legal jeopardy from the feds. Any thing he says in this courtroom can and will be used against him in the next. Especially if he wins a mistrial on appeal.
I certainly hope there are issue that have been preserved for appeal that result in success and his freedom.

If Chauvin and Floyd had a “history”, then a 1st degree murder case could have been pursued (revenge/premeditation) But, it would have diluted the racial aspect.
Nobody was interested in the Nuevo Rodeo, which was promptly and conveniently burned down. The registered owner (not the lady “owner” who was interviewed by the media) is an in investigation in itself.

I have worked two sketchy nightclubs as security, one has head of security. I knew who the owner (s) were and sometimes left the building with them. I also saw who came in and out of the offices. About half the employees knew the owners were sketchy, some of the owners visitors were sketchy and we knew who the celebrities were that stopped in and out now and again. None of us knew what was going on behind the closed office doors. Talking to the employees would have produced little information of value to authorities.
