The crowd went wild for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis during a surprise appearance at the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam Sunday night. DeSantis briefly addressed the thousands of music lovers in the audience during what he described as “largest concert held since the COVID-19 pandemic began last year.”
Governor DeSantis blasted government officials who locked-down everyone during the COVID Plandemic saying “Florida chose freedom over Faucism” and urging members of the audience to pressure their state officials to open up and drop the mask mandate. Video’s and pictures below:

As much as I love President Trump, I really wish he’d step aside and let DeSantis run for POTUS.
It may be that President Trump doesn’t necessary step aside but continues on the path of king maker. Or it could be go with a Trump/DeSantis ticket locking in 12 years of Republican presidency.
I like that ticket, but they better have someone lined up to so we don’t lose Florida.

I was just in Florida on vacation. It was great to walk into a grocery store, tourist shop, restaurant and bar, no masks! Kids and families on the beach, boogie boards in the ocean, sand chairs next to each other. It’s like 2 different America’s. Florida is leading the way!
The great thing about living on Panama City Beach, Florida is the Governor frequently visits and freely mingles with us. Another great reason is my house is a block from the Concert, I can attend from my back patio. I really love living in Florida.

When and if he ever runs for President, I predict he’ll win just like Trump did. Twice.
In 2024, Trump will need a MAGA Vice President on his ticket, and Desantis is that guy. In hindsight, Trump’s choice of VP’s in 2016 was problematic. Before the R convention, the Uniparty threatened to disrupt his candidacy if he didn’t choose one of their guys. He hired Manafort, the greasy insider, to negotiate a cease fire and then he picked what he considered the best Unparty guy on the list… Pence.
This allowed the Uniparty to attack Trump full force, and come up with a shampeachment, because they knew their guy would be in place if Trump left office for any reason. In hindsight, this pick is what facilitated all the Swamp shenanigans during Trump’s term.
No such mistakes this time. The Uniparty cannot be allowed a fallback position, which should serve to defang their more devious conspiracies against Trump. If Desantis is waiting in the wings, they’ll be far less likely to go back to the criminal conspiracy against Trump.
