There are some voices who are concerned about Elise Stefanik taking over as House GOP Conference Chairwoman. Perhaps those concerns are founded, and each person obviously has a right to their opinion based on their perspective. That said, perhaps the best course of action is to both enthusiastically support and simultaneously hold accountable; then watch to see if she holds true to the MAGA agenda.
President Trump had previously endorsed Elise Stefanik for the position and with that endorsement Mrs. Stefanik now carries the responsibility to advance and support the ‘America First’ agenda. Today in her first remarks since being elected by a conference vote of 134-46 Representative Stefanik talked to the media.
.
Wise post as usual, Sundance!
Agreed. I wish that Sundance could be Trump’s personal advisor on political decisions.
That would be a winning team.
DD
From your mouth to Trump’s ears.
With Sundance as an adviser, the President would certainly get a fact-based, verifiable assessment of every policy, narrative, and smear attack that he has to battle in order to move MAGA policies forward.
That said, I am comfortable knowing that Sundance’s findings and assessments are always clearly articulated in this website. The President knows how to reach our host if he has questions……
I have always like her and I like her even more as I watch this video. Remember, as a house member she, hopefully, was voting in line with her constituents she represents. As a leader in the House, she is voting for ALL conservative Americans. Until she proves me wrong I will back her 100%!!
Wrapped her arms around POTUS at the beginning of her speech. Not a bad way to start!
When you put it like that, I will watch.
she said- President Trump..
That’s a whole lot better than the garbage that she was saying about PDJT a few years ago.
A little Trump endorsement goes a long way.

She accurately ”reads” the situation existing in America at the moment with the Biden administration. I have a feeling that she will be more than an asset for Republicans and America.
It is not how she behaves now when the wind is blowing favorably in her direction. It is how she behaves when the wind changes.
All politicians pay attention to the way the wind is blowing, even Trump, as evident when he realized that in order to avoid a successful (albeit unconstitutional) impeachment if he didn’t accept Fauxi as lead on COVID, masks, social distancing, and closing down 25-50% of the US economy. Unfavorable as that decision was, I think we still came out ahead for it.
I look at her support for repealing the SALT caps in a similar way. Given the state she comes from, not supporting the repeal would have been political suicide. I agree it is not possible for us to say for sure she did it against her instincts, so we need to watch carefully. But of late she has been a strong supporter. In the current environment we need all the people we can muster who will resist the fascists in power. So for the moment whether it is Sundance’s “enthusiastically support and simultaneously hold accountable” or Reagan’s “trust but verify” mantra we follow, it seems the best way forward.
Bert, I hear what you are saying and it seems SOP warrants a ‘proceed with caution stance’ for any Repub until proven MAGA, but she did step up when winds were contrary during impeachment and arguably turned heads in how she was able to slice and dice the opposition, including the Pravda media.
Time will tell, but I’m hoping for the best from her.
I agree. She is smarter that McCarthy and Scalise and gets that MAGA is the only way forward for the GOP.
Encouraging that such a large majority agrees. Love to know who voted against and why.
Is it? Have we learned nothing?
I think all of us have burned over the years by our “we only pretend to represent you” representatives that if anyone is hesitant about who is in the top spot now is logical in their thinking.
I like her but like I have said in the past and still say today… I have 0% trust in anyone, you need to earn it.
I’m cautious of this personnel pick by Trump. Afraid that she’s another of the people who punch all the right buttons in the interview, but then just do what they please or put their own ambition ahead of the country. She seems too cozy with the RINO’s.
If he takes the WH again, he needs to improve in this area. I mean Scaramucci?
Ever think maybe PDJT is smarter than you think?
Ever thought that maybe PDJT has Judas Goats all over DC and elsewhere?
Nope. It’s his weakness.
Lots of anti Trump sentiment showing up in this thread. I wonder why.
It’s obvious he just demolished any idea that the party is going to be moving away from him by getting them to dump Cheney and select his choice for leadership.
Thank you.
Don’t get me wrong, Cheney needed to go. I’m just not sold that Stefanik is the best available for him to endorse. Time will tell on this choice, but he’s missed on some of his picks.
I don’t wonder.
Plenty of paid psyops practitioners out there.
The drumbeat against PDJT has started at every commenting site I visit now. Some are sloppy and others subtle.
But they all share a goal with the Great Reset Club: Get rid of PDJT at all costs.
They talk of being suspicious of Elise. The people I’m suspicious of are the Trump-bashers.
I had this debate with a friend of mine that is even more of Trump supporter than I am. She and I continually fought about Fauci and I had your same argument. “Dont you think Trump is smarter than us and has a plan?”
He is, but she turned out to be right. A lot of his choices backfired on him and I guess that’s probably because some of them didn’t want to be the next victim of the Obama leftover FBI folks.
Also Christopher Wray? The way we know that was a horrible pick is because he’s still “respected” and in his position instead of being replaced.
The Trump agenda was always right and still is, but his pick in people is very lacking and that’s because he expects people to be as loyal to him as he is to them. He’s a rare bird when it comes to loyalty. He’s not afraid to take some hits for his ppl, but those he picked chose to sell him out and it’s a shame. Not all, but a fair few.
Because Trump has never worked in politics before, he had to TRUST certain people.
One man cannot run a government.
His instincts were always right in that he knew all men and all women can be corrupted and that most of the DC denizens are, including the faceless people who worked in the departments of the federal government.
It was nigh impossible to know who were the good guys and who were not. The last few years have been an eye opener for all of us, methinks.
WTPW – you hit that nail square on the head !!
TlHoward ~~
has it right. President Trump’s problem was he had to trust people he had done business with.
He found out the hard way Business ain’t Politics.
He’s working hard now to make sure the stolen presidential election was a one-off and there’s enough information out there to ensure it can’t happen again.
When he wins the White House in 2024, (and he will) he won’t make the same mistakes twice. You can expect a Democrat style house cleaning next time.
As far as the stolen election being a one-off. I meant it’s a one-off for Trump. I think ovomit’s 2012 re-election was stolen as well.
You are 100% correct on 2012.
My first thought was that no one dives for the carpet quicker than Mittens…but, then…
…unless it’s Paul Ryan pretending he couldn’t debate Biden – cringeworthy!
But wait – then there was McCain at the town hall where someone asked him to fight back against the Obammunist and he wouldn’t…
So many intentional losers, so little time…
75% were disasters.
She put all her emphasis ont the bad dem policies of Biden and Pelosi. She publicly supports President Trump and MAGA. She wants to win. Perfect.
..HOPEFULY she learned…will see.
Shes an open border rino
unfortunately as president, President Trump had to rely on some very obvious unreliable people. You can’t blame a person for every step taken in life even if you’re the leader of the pathfinders. President Trump went into a situation where he had to listen and often choose someone he knew wasn’t his choice. McConnell was a yoke as was many others.
Jared comes to mind.
Jared got him elected in 2016.
Utterly ridiculous comment.
I disagree.
JARED almost single-handedly brought PEACE to half of the Middle-East, before Biden tossed a lit tinderbox back over there!
President Trump walked onto a minefield for us surrounded by a squad of treacherous mercenaries who mostly wanted to frag him. He achieved much and survived, but the other side currently holds the field.
Nonsense
So you are here to dump on the thread with you negativity. Sucks to be you.
Stefanik is saying all the right things now, but it wasn’t always that way. I hope she’s serious about supporting MAGA.
She opposed Trump on some important issues which concerns me. She’s not what I’d call a poster representative for MAGA but she deserves credit coming through for him on some other important issues. Time will tell her true convictions or if she uses the political winds as her barometer.
Ya think?
I once had a boss tell me to never say never. I’ve learned that was good advice.
Bolton, another gem.
Amarosa, too
What a great step forward. This is a good day.
Let’s hope.
“perhaps the best course of action is to both enthusiastically support and simultaneously hold accountable; then watch to see if she holds true to the MAGA agenda.”
That goes for all of GOP. We’re watching you like hawks.
Stefanik has charisma, and is articulate – and she gets it.
McCarthy is the turd in the punchbowl.
McCarthy is; slick, slippery, slimy, phony and stupid. How in the World does McCarty get where is but doesn’t know fraud when is slaps him in the face?
Yep. And she was a great asset to PDJT during the impeachment farce. She is smart on her feet in front of the cameras and will be a yuge improvement.
There are a whole lot of GOP “brown wrinklebacks” swimming around the punchbowl. Flush them down the drain starting with the betrayers in leadership.
McCarthy should be target #1 in the House.
I’d love to know the names of the 46 Against…..
Me too!
No, not 46 against, 46 FOR Chip Roy who ran as her opponent. While granting I don’t specifically recall his name, by the various voter guide numbers, he would be the more conservative candidate. And honestly of all the things that make me nervous about Elise Stefanik, the one that concerns me the most is the coronation-like atmosphere surrounding her election. I like her too. Not sure how I would have voted if I had been in the chamber. She may have the advantage of blunting some of the usual criticisms of old white male politicians. I don’t like having to say that, but in politics you sometimes have to accept realities you don’t like. Life too for that matter.
Based on Bec74’s comment, I hereby rescind the above post.
If Chip Roy didn’t defend Trump during the shampeachment or gave aid and comfort to the DNC in declaring Dementia Joe Liar in Chief, he deserves NO support regardless of his voting record.
He’s a Bush GOP E all the way.
Chip Roy didn’t get the endorsement.
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/desk/desk-rzyznzr6n7/
I will specify that people like Chip Roy voted consistently conservative when big business is affected.
Very very good point.
There suddenly seem to be people who think “conservative” means only that.
PDJT is a real conservative who cares about all the businesses and jobs, and the freedom and rights of all the people, not just the 400-pound gorillas like Coke and Delta whose power rests on woke lobbyists, the biggest single donors, corporate media, a deep state to prop it all up, and probably a whole lot of CCP cash rolling around on the floor of the car.
Paul Ryan….I mean, Kevin McCarthy looks tired.
I thought he looked rather desperate myself… trying very hard to please his globalist Masters but recognizing the voters are wise to him and are no longer interested in playing along!
Elise Stefanik is smart enough to recognize which way the wind is blowing and she has positioned herself well. She has seen what happened to Nikki Haley, Liz Cheney, Lisa Murkowski, and others who bet that Donald Trump would slink away in defeat, never to be heard from again. They have lost their bets in a very spectacular and public fashion!
Kevin McCarthy knows if he is on very, very thin ice and if he does not start making a very public show of supporting the MAGA agenda, he will not be speaker in 2020, even if the Republicans do take the house.
“even if the Republicans do take the house.” Let me help you out “when the Republicans take the house.”
IF we get the issues fixed with our election system….then the Rs will definitely take the House! But, I am not taking anything for granted at this point. If Stefanik wants to be Speaker, she needs to make election reform her number one priority, IMHO. And that will require her to touch the third rail and question the results of last November, which McCarthy is clearly not willing to do!!
excellent analysis – good job VM
Romney, Cheney, Adam K…..
he need permanent vacation..far away of swamp…
McCarthy needs to be replaced ASAP. He still thinks Biden is a legitimate president and the election wasn’t stolen. This alone let’s one know that he’s a swamp creature.
is he thinking that or is his bff Luntz thinking that?
Exactly !!!
Agreed. That statement alone is disqualifying. Only MAGA-certified need apply.
I think the whole shampeachment ordeal red pilled her quite a bit. I think she’ll do well.
Ms Stefanik has a pretty face and a brain. She sure looks like this soap opera actress, Kimberly McCullough.
?w=953
Fast out of the gate!
She does a good job pointing out that GOP voters massively support Pres. Trump, so the issue is that certain politicians are anti-Trump and therefore anti-GOP-voters. Good on her for pointing out that in most respects it is up to us as voters to throw these bums out and make her job easier.
She does not hurl them into the void, preferring instead that voters hurl these backstabbing duplicitous traitors – my words – into the void.
Look how uncomfortable McCarthy is at :32 when she mentions PDJT being a critical part of our Republican team. He’s a swine.
Great catch. He really showed his ass with that not too obvious squirm; as if he was trying to shed his skin.
She is going to run circles round him. She is way smarter than the rest.
and very dirty one…i noticed that in:32….yes sw*ne got to go ASAP !!!!
I watched his body language during the speech and fully agree he went on the defense with those particular words.
Man , your right that guy better not play poker he visibly flinched-shrugged . Like he wanted to get off the stage because she was endorsing Trump. Interesting body language.
Sundance often cautions against sacrificing the good in pursuit of the perfect. We don’t have to be clones of each other, and should not seek that. With shared values and principles, we may have spirited discussions and disagreements on the best way to translate those values and principles into workable policies. That is how America works. Good luck to her. But the minute she strays from the America First agenda we will … ahem … remind her who WE are.
I think the thing she talks about that people have to fully grasp is that her district went from Obama-double-digits to Trump-double-digits.
The old post Civil War status quo is breaking down. It’s not really liberal vs. conservative any more. Liberals are out of ideas and conservatives capitulated. The new political alignments are globalist/fascist/communist vs. nationalist/America-first.
It’s one of the reasons why I detest that we have to keep the “Republican” brand. It represents a model that no longer suits our needs.
It wasn’t that long ago we all parroted that whole “free markets don’t need tariffs” line that Conservative Inc. and the globalists gave us…then they gutted our economy and solid it to China. Then Trump comes in and destroys China in a trade war, and I realized that being America-first doesn’t mean being a Republican.
Anyway, we’ll see what she does. We would have a better measuring stick if we had a list of things we stand for (as opposed to being reactionary and defining ourselves as “stopping the Left”).
AND say what you will about past politics, Glenn Greenwald does fit an emerging blend of previously exclusively defined ideological camps.
yeah, I agree. There’s definitely a realignment going on as the Communists emerge as the replacement for “Democrats” and they are allied with the Official Government Party to institute a totalitarian government where whites are not allowed (unless you give them money and kneel before them). Everyone else is looking for someplace new to go because the other option is just flat-out evil.
I reject the concept that Conservative =/= America First. I think that while real conservatives work with a multi-dimensional framework, putting your nation first is essential for any politician. So I expect American politicians to put America first and Russia politicians to put Russia first. After that it is a matter of who does the better job of outmaneuvering the other guy. I think freedom and a free market make that easier.
Small c conservative, yes, but I’m talking about C Conservatives as in Conservative Inc.
Mainstream Conservstism is reactionary and defines itself in opposition to the Left. They wind up accepting Lefy’s premise on everything, and as a result they capitulate. For example, most Americans the vast majority are not racist. Yet Conservatives go out of their way to bow before the Gods of Antiracism, or we get the old “Democrats are the real racists” tropes which just amplify and fuel antiracism as the highest sacrament. Conservatives, big C, widely accept Lefty’s social welfare state, searching in vain for “the Conservative Welfare plan” (hint: you apply for it using a 1040 tax form “tax credit” or “voucher”). Big C Conservatives worship immigration, too. Melting pot, blah blah blah, despite the country imploding into a multi-culti dystopia. Big C conservatives are anti tariffs and pro multilateral trade deals…despite what those have done to our country. C Conservatives are interventionist nation-building war mongers.
Then there’s the stuff we agree on that Conservatives pay lip service to.
There are elements of MAGA that share conservative ideas. But MAGA is not big C Conservative in terms of politics.
MAGA is explicitly – by its very name – Nationalist. I heard Matt Gaetz say that the other day. We are Nationalists.
That is the new alignment. Globalists/Corporatists/Marxist vs. Nationalist/Individualist/Protectionist.
VERY astute observations, Hokkada. I agree with every assertion you made in that post.
We need to brush away and mock those who recoil at the term “nationalist” as if it is automatic shorthand for Nationalist Socialist (Nazi). Anyone making that conflation just exhibits real intellectual ignorance.
I agree, and I continually remind moonbats what that party name stood for.
But maybe we should also speak of sovereignty and sovereign rights. That translates to the individual states in our federation as well as our country (and others’ countries!), and moves the focus back down locally rather than onto the bloated federal behemoth.
The nationalist movement is actually far more “global” – in that it’s popping up everywhere in the world – than that hoary “Big Club” of corruptocrats who have done nothing for about a century but consolidate power to their oligarchy.
Trust and verify.
She hit all the Trump talking points well, but whenever one of these moderates say they want to embrace “Unity” that keyword normally tells us which direction they will eventually go. Unity for a moderate republican normally means caving to the rinos and uniparty ppl in an effort to remain in power or a naive expectations of compromise.
Rush said it best always. We dont need to get along with the opposition, they need to be destroyed (via votes and better ideas). They are not to be gotten along with. Getting along with them means the destruction of the country as it was founded. They don’t compromise. their only wish is to destroy us on the conservative side and they are patient, cunning and are not deterred by setbacks. They reset and plan their work and work their plan and this is why they win over us. We cave too much in the interests of “getting along”
While we work on a plan to “get along” they are always working on a plan to exterminate us as movement. It’s about time we stopped playing checkers on a chessboard.
That said she said the right words and I’ll reserve judgement until I see her act, but we dont have much time before the mid-term battles start so I hope she is up for the challenge.
We hate the left’s ideas, the left hates us.
Hate is not in our nature, it’s in theirs. There’s no co-existing or compromise, those got us here. Like China, they are at war with us.
Trial by fire
In all fairness, John, Rep. Stefanik was expressing “unity” in the context of her wanting to unify the Republican Conferees, not the entire Congress. Still it’s a very tall challenge, I will agree.
After all that’s happened, I don’t trust anyone anymore.
Oh, every Judas once loved a Jesus
But oh, betrayal will seize us
We all are caught in the middle
Of one long dangerous riddle
Of who trusts who
Maybe I’ll trust you
But can you trust me?
Wait and see!
I listened to Steve Bannon talk about her. He said when the chips were down and everyone was throwing President Trump under the bus for the Access Hollywood tape she stood with him as a lone voice in the wind in a district that she had only just won in 2014. Trump did not provide her any support in 2016, yet she had his back. That counted for a lot. She also had his back numerous times during the impeachment fights.
Chip Roy may have had a better conservative voting record, but he stabbed Trump in the back multiple times, especially over January 6 and the sham impeachment thereafter. If we needed someone like him, then Liz Cheney could have stayed in the position.
I think Stefanik recognizes the new direction of the GOP (away from globalists and towards America First) and she will fall in lock step with MAGA. She’s smart and tough.
This ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
I sure hope you are right.
Cheney has a much stronger “conservative” voting record – 78% ACU rating vs. 44% for Stefanek. That should give everyone a good deal of pause about what being “conservative” means in Congress.
It’s one of many reasons why we need our own set of governing principles that are proactive (what we’re for) rather than reactionary (“vote for us because we are against the Democrats”). Being America first doesn’t mean being a globalist when it comes to markets or tariffs, for example. Being for strong borders is as much about being against child sex trafficking as it is about defending our American culture and way of life.
We lose because we fail to engage the Left on moral terms. They set the morality (“my mask protects you, your mask protects me”) and we react to it instead of championing our own morality.
We’re always trying to out-argue them.
“We’re always trying to out-argue them.” .
YES. …on THEIR terms and using THEIR bastardized language.
For that alone she deserves our support until she strays off the reservation. I wonder if McCarthy could be salvaged ?
Nope.
It’s really simple. In addition to everything else, he’s too stupid.
Plenty better out here.
We must throw Elise Stefanik overboard. And as Donald J. Trump supports her, we must throw him overboard too. We should probably throw them both overboard in the Bermuda Triangle where we threw Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz and Matt Gaetz and so many others. We must do this to demonstrate the purity of our hearts as well as the soundness of our minds. And we can easily afford to do this as we have 90% of the MSM, FBI, DOJ, NSA, CIA firmly on our side as well as at least 97% of the military. So what the hell do we need any of these impure ones like Elise Stefanik and the traitors who support her for anyway. We must stand strong in our principles.
LOL – you’re much better at trolling the trolls here than they are at trolling.
Your quality scarcasm is noted and applauded. We get it and will vote accordingly, but cant we vent our frustration about it at the same time?
Stefanik has risen to this position more because of her steadfastness in defending President Trump against the abuses brought about by the managerial state, and not necessarily steadfastness in defending the MAGA agenda legislatively. In fact, in that regard her record is questionable at best. This creates a potentially precarious position for those who are truly about the MAGA agenda of immigration reduction, economic populism and foreign policy restraint. In the odious Liz Cheney, we had obvious adversaries in leadership. In Stefanik, the GOPe can point and say “YOU SEE! This is Trump’s Party now!”, sacrificing Liz Cheney for the opportunity to rebrand “MAGA” as being lukewarm at best on immigration, basically doing the bidding of the Chamber of Commerce and Big Ag.
The fact that she trapped Comey in that hearing all those years ago is of little consequence in the grand scheme of things. She has my support, to the extent she is true to the MAGA agenda.
YES…he got to go..ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another establishment RINO with a Liberty Score at Conservative Review a “F” 36%.
Chip Roy who received 46 votes score is “A” 100%.
What you say means nothing to me, how you vote tells the tale.
Except he threw PDJT under the bus after Jan 6th.
But it didn’t have to be a binary choice.
This was a power play by PDJT. He got them to dump Cheney and elect his person.
a YUGE win for PDJT.
And tomorrow PDJT will move on and support another candidate in another race.
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/desk/desk-dpkdpwukpk/
https://twitter.com/EmeraldRobinson/status/1393254616280743939
HE’s working for the Bushes.
When I did some hitchhiking in my youth, I would also prefer someone in a 36% rated car who come by and offered me a ride over someone who came by in a 100% rated car and tried to run me over.
??? Excellent.
Don, Chip Roy thinks Biden was legitimately elected. That alone disqualifies him. Period.
Good call Eric.
What was Cheney’s Liberty Score? 62
Maybe that scoring is meaningless?
We need a MAGA score system. The term conservative is meaningless and out dated.
The ACU ratings have been garbage for some decades now. Once the neocons and neolibs took over those organizations, which they did long ago, they became useless to us.
We can score MAGA ourselves. Fair trade, immigration law enforced and no foreign wars.
Yes I suspect if those voting records were seriously examined, we would find:
BINGO. The old Conservative. vs. Liberal method of scoring needs to go the way of the DoDo bird.
President Trump introduced us to a real conservative policy that puts America first and bona fide Americans (of all races, ethnicities and backgrounds but who support the melting pot culture, the Constitution, and equal justice for ALL) first before sending our tax dollars or trade dollars offshore to help “allies” who are too often working against our best interests
It’s being pounded into him.
Primary examples of this would be picking Generals like Mattis, Kelly and McMasters, although in fairness to Trump, I seem to recall when he did pick them there was almost total support for them on the comments right here on this blog, especially for Mattis who was proclaimed to be almost a god. Worst case, Elise Stefanik is about 1,000,000 times better a choice than Mattis, Kelly and McMasters.
The way I see it, we had no loaf with Liz Cheney. Now, we have part of a loaf with Elise Stefanik, just by sending Cheney packing. So lets not revert to victimhood over Stefanik’s elevation to Conference Chair.
Especially Flynn. Peter Navarro too. And don’t forget Stephen Miller – he sucks.
Or maybe it’s you that does.
My personal favorite was Wilbur Ross with Navarro right behind him
I have no problem with an opportunistic politician–they can be managed and incentivized to do the right thing, even if they don’t know what the right thing is.
However, I do have serious issues with hypocrites–they KNOW the right thing to do, pay homage to the right thing, and then do the exact opposite.
Hoping Ms. Stefanik is the former.
I think McCarthy could be managed given the right incentivization
But they can’t grow him a brain.
As Sundance has pointed out there are no blue states just blue cities. The Republicans need some good representation from the NE there are a lot of them overwhelmed/buried by big blue city progressives/liberals. I say give her a chance let’s see how she does. It would be nice for a change to see a moderate become a full fledged MAGA conservative while in office! She has President Trump’s ear/endorcement lets hope and prayer she uses that to benefit the country and We The People! Time will tell.
Massachusetts is a blue state. Every county voted blue. Several states have 75% or more counties that voted blue. CT has 6 of 8 counties blue. RI has 3 of 4 counties that voted blue. In VT all but one county voted blue.
I don’t know what else to call it. I can’t honestly call them red states. So there are a few truly “blue” states when measuring strictly by county, regardless of which cities are in those counties.
New England Dementia is what to call it………………….
They surely have swallowed the steady stream of lies.
Too much Puritan inbreeding since 1620 is all I can conclude….
I don’t actually think every county here actually voted blue any more than I think PDJT lost the swing states. Cheating was an art form here before it caught on in many states..
But yes, a whole lot certainly did.
Chip’s beef is toast. Float him and Bakersfield Bozo on S-O-S out of the picture.
What a refreshing MAGA change from the horrible Cheney.
Yes, yes. Her voting record isn’t as conservative as good ole Liz. But she made Comey look like a fool and she didn’t vote to impeach President Trump.
If conservative means loving foreign wars…
Sundance, I’m cautiously optimistic, but we probably have to remind her that the country is more RED than PURPLE, so she better not be on the default of voting just how she thinks her constituents are leaning towards. She should probably entertain the fact that the election was rigged, and the current positions that Dems were elected on, were probably by fraud. President Trump won the most votes in the history of the country and she should remember that. She shouldn’t be a weak Republican, but a fighter for MAGA, not unlike Cuomo but she has to move ala -DeSantis, if she will be able to capture the mood of the country. #TrumplicansOnly
From NY state✔️
Supports open border✔️
How can people not see?
March 20, 2017
Elise Stefanik was brilliant/nailed
Comey with her line of questioning.
100% AGREE with Sundance.
I think the GOPe leadership throttled her back in the past. The GOPe leadership didn’t want her upsetting their Dem Uniparty partners and prying into things that would make them all look bad.
I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and wait and see how she operates.
Kabuki theatre. She got Trumps endorsement just like Comey, Sessions, Rosenstein, Romney, Barr, Wray, Atkinson, Tillerson, priebus, Haspel, Kelley, Milley, Haley, Wolf, Kavanaugh, Barrett……….
I know he had no choice as President with 75 million staunch supporters.
Did i mention he endorsed Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnel
PDJT was naive. Who would have thought that the Rebluican Party would not have coalesced around their party’s nominee and eventual president? Without PDJT we would have never known how bad it really was and still is. He forced slews of Rebluicans to show their true colors; these folks we voted for year after year believing they would fight for our interests/beliefs. PSJT Trump was naive as were we. The days of the Reblucians are numbered.
He made 4 years of horrible picks, that anyone who remotely paid attention knew were bad at the time. Why didn’t he learn? He’s not dumb. So what could explain it? Its the elephant in the room, that no one wants to consider because in many ways they know Trump was the last hope for our country.
Things transpiring today and over the last 4 years is spiritual in nature. Focus on Jesus, trust Jesus alone.
Your posts are getter shorter. Maxing out on your paid daily word allotment?
So do we know who were the 46 who voted to keep Cheney?
The other 46 voted for Chip Roy.
For the people who say its anti Trump to talk about how many people he picked turned out bad they need to understand it’s a simple reality of what we are up against I would say. If Trump or anyone else ever becomes President again they will have to be way way way better at who they pick for positions or they too will be destroyed sadly. We are up against so much deep corruption and evil that this is the reality. I feel we all love Trump but that doesn’t change reality, it is what it is.
One would have to be a mind reader to find these wonderful MAGA candidates. I don’t think there’s very many out there.
One would have to be a magician to get them confirmed by McConnell. Chip Roy isn’t MAGA, and I doubt that Stefanik is.
A mind reader?? Simply ask them do you believe the US border should be open? Do you believe in economic policy that prioritizes the US worker above foreign interests. Simple enough
She was a spokes person against the impeachment and supports investigations into Nov 3 fraud.
At the end of the day, those two stances matter more than just about anything else. Everything else is policy – those are integrity.
Who would you have picked?
Do you think you could’ve gotten them approved by Mitch McConnell?
PDJT couldn’t even make recess appointments because not even one senator would allow it.
MAGA to you too.
I picked McCain.. I picked Bush (the younger)… I picked Romney… Yuck, Yuck and Yuck… Best 2 picks I ever made; Reagan & Trump.. So unfortunately, we sometimes make terrible picks based on what we are being told..
Lol I bet you just summed up about 80% of us
*raises hand* yep!
I know that Congressman Andy Harris voted for Chip Roy. He said he was going to this morning on WCBM Baltimore. His reasoning was Roy’s voting record vs that of Stefanik’s. The morning host disagreed with him and thought Stefanik would be a better choice because she didn’t throw President Trump under the bus after Jan 6th. The morning host, by the way is named Shawn Casey and he is Pro Trump all the way. In fact, the whole station is Pro Trump.
Thank you for that piece of actual info!
Well now we know two: Andy Harris and Chip Roy (who probably voted for Chip Roy).
Anybody else got intel?
Secret courts and secret votes is not the United States of America
Will those who voted against be published somewhere ?
Trust, but verify…. she advocated for Trump to join the Paris Climate Accords – could be another Dan Crenshaw with a Mitt Romney say anything to get elected strategy….
Sorry Shyster, should have read your post first.
No worries patriot…
McCarthy was Ryan’s altar boy ..
Well, in the borrowed words of another great president (#40), ‘trust, but verify’.

I hope she buries Amnesty, which she has supported in the past.
