Long term adverse affects are worth being cautious about but hard data about the vaccine blocking infections is there. The MN numbers show a lower rate of death with the vaccine than without. We’ve all heard that 99.8% survive or .1 -.2 % death rate. Well, the MN numbers show that with the vaccine the rate is .0004 % death rate.
Everyone has their reasons for getting the vaccine or not but is there a possibility that the left is spreading all the negative news about long term problems? Was it the left that pulled the J&J because 6 people out of 7 mil had issues? Is it the left that really doesn’t like the fact that Trump was prescient in his focus on getting the vaccine rolling to success and they are trying every way they can to discredit it all because Trump did it?

The prosecution clearly didn’t prove that Chauvin is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If they had, the radical leftists wouldn’t be threatening to burn the country down before the jury has even deliberated. They know he will be found not guilty, so they’ve moved on to their tried and true tactics of threats, intimidation, violence, and crime. How is that any different than the mafia? It felt so good watching his interview last night. If POTUS remains optimistic about the future and presses on then so should we. Staying inside on cold, surprisingly snowy day off, it’s really hitting me how sh!tty this past year has been.
Normally, I’d be enjoying Rush Limbaugh right now. I miss him so much. Nothing fills the void.
I miss President Trump. Occasionally hearing from him is good, but nothing fills the void since he left the White House.
I miss being able to hear (and be heard by) my unmuzzled coworkers and customers. I miss their smiles and facial expressions. I miss being able to breathe 40+ hrs/wk. I miss my freedom.
I miss my friends. Some lost to political brainwashing, some lost to Covid fear, some lost to lack of proper medical care.
I miss my own health, which has suffered under the messed up medical system due to Covid. There is permanent damage due to misdiagnoses and the inability to see Doctors in a timely manner.
Some of you haven’t experienced all this, but many of you have. It is a struggle some days to remain positive, even as a person of faith. If you’re able to have a good day where you’re able to live your best life, be sure to reach out to someone who’s having a hard time with the reality they’ve been dealt.

Met up my neighbour yesterday, an older lady in her 80’s, who I’ve barely seen in 14 months.
First time I’ve seen her without a mask in that time, even when she was outside in her (ample size) garden.
She’s speaks English poorly – I think she may have come to Canada from Yugoslavia many years ago.
Poor soul broke into tears while speaking with us – it’s been so long since she’s been locked down tight in her house all alone. I think her son has been delivering her groceries for the last year.
It’s not like she even has the skills to go on the computer and skype with her grandchildren.
I wish I could believe there was going to be a reckoning for these evil bastards who used this “crisis” as a tool.
So many unnecessary deaths and broken lives.
Awww, that’s so sad. Poor little thing, she’s scared. Maybe you could leave a nice baked good on her porch someday, with an encouraging note?
For others, maybe offer to help them to the Dr’s office and pharmacy and back. Or just be there and listen. I’d wear a mask for those folks.

I’ve known two people who’ve committed suicide since the Covid lockdowns. You never know what good you may do in reaching out.

I feel the same way. We have to help people in fear not make it worse. It won’t hurt me to help my sister although I will try somewhat to share, gently and won’t be wearing a mask when we go to the beach or in the car.
Yes, my cat (that I thought was a MC, and will stick by it that’s she is somewhat a MC) has interrupt vet car. The staff comes and gets her from my car, I wait, they & the vet bring her to me when finished. My vet loves cats and my “MC” likes her so I know all is well even though it really is time to end that routine, somewhat.
I went with a friend to a different vet when his kitty was ill. When in back, the masks were not an issue. Everyone knows.
It’s just that in certain states, medical offices are terrified of losing their practice if they don’t appear to comply. Yes, even veterinarians. 🙁

I had some OP surgery with my dermatologists and they didn’t allow anyone to come in and wait for me. My friend that drove me had to wait in her car in a parking deck.
It is sad about not accompanying a pet inside. My cat doesn’t come out frightened because she is at ease with the vet, but if she ever has to go for a ‘real’ visit (she’s having her nails clipped as they get too long & uncomfortable), I will have to insist on going inside with her. Criminal Gov Kemp has lifted the mask stuff, so I will just ask that they comply with that. It’s very traumatic for animals at the vets.
So much trauma associated with this mess. I’m looking forward to going to FL. I’ll be outside alot. It’ll be good for my spirit. Life is different now. I keep praying for

On the first page of this Presidential thread poster Big Al recommended a Joe Oltmann interview by The Professor Record. So, I headed over to watch the hour and change interview. Folks, you want to watch it. Oltmann is the real deal. He’s an entreprenuer out of Colorado who stumbled upon Eric Coomer of Dominion quite by accident b/c he was doing research on Antifa and Antifa “journalist’s” prior to the election. He’s done his due diligence in researching this skinhead Coomer and does an outstanding job detailing his true radical leftist leanings. What is interesting is when the Professor and Oltmann were talking about the Dominion algorithm they brought up Dr Frank’s work, Lindell’s ‘Scientific Proof, and apparently the code used is strikingly similar to code Physicist’s would be familiar. Turns out Coomer is a Physicist as is Dr. Frank, hhhhmmmmm.
You will also quickly learn Oltmann is a deeply devoted man who believes fully God’s hands led him to do this work. Truly an inspiring tale and will certainly give some fuel to many seeking some really, really good soul food.

Passports not needed. Follow the math. 60-80 percent of population gets vaccine, maybe 80 or 90 percent of seniors/vulnerable, another 10 percent had covid and antibodies. There are some with natural immunity and the remainder will not be enough for the virus to run rampant anymore. When we hit these numbers in another month or so, deaths will be at all time lows because the most vulnerable will have the highest immunity numbers. Outside the vulnerable, there are very few deaths.
In MN it was reported that of 1.5 mil vaccinated there have been 6 reported deaths. That’s a death rate well below the overall covid rate and even normal flu rates.
A paper to show that you got a vaccine, that you can keep and show when absolutely needed, is one thing and pretty neutral.
The dangerous vaccine passports that people like Naomi Wolf is warning about are entirely different. They use a phone app that tracks you and everyone you come in contact with. They include programming that can cut off your access to bank and money. They have your entire medical history in them. They can be used to make you a pariah in society.
Why would such an app need code like that if not for enforcing a social score against you?
A piece of paper is fine, but the digital passports definitely aren’t.

I agree. It is being covered sporadically, but it really is going to be an issue in many countries. Some countries might have famines. USA probably shortages. I’m ready that 2022 is when the supply shortages will really impact Europe, and our inflation will continue due to shortages, supply chain issues.

That’s why it comes as no surprise that Congress has a 14 percent approval rating and 60 percent of Americans say they’d fire every member of Congress if they could.
Unfortunately, elections alone cannot fix this problem. Not because voters love you guys so much, but due to the nearly unbreakable power of incumbency. At the same time members of Congress publicly claim elections are free and fair, they secretly exploit every advantage to keep power. Incumbents get 9 dollars in special interest money for every dollar that goes to a challenger. And if incumbents are having difficulty raising money? Not to worry. They’re allowed to send campaign-style mailers at taxpayer expense. That’s to say nothing of all the free media and name recognition politicians naturally get just for being in office. The incumbent advantage creates barriers to entry for everyday Americans without the connections to fund a campaign. It’s the case for term limits. Elections may in theory be capable of dethroning incumbents, but that isn’t how it works in the real world. Congressional incumbents have a 98 percent re-election rate.
This probably explains why Congress looks more like a country club than a melting pot. It’s predominantly made up of lawyers and politicians…and is disproportionately old, white, rich and male. Term limits would give us a legislature that better reflects the diversity of our society. The message incumbents send to young people like me seems to be “we want you just close enough to the political process to help us win; but don’t get too close and take our jobs.” The American people have lost confidence in Congress, and for good reason. We routinely see abuses of power. 18 months ago it was revealed that members of Congress were secretly using taxpayer money to settle lawsuits – some for sexual harassment. You still haven’t disclosed how our money was spent and on whose behalf. So term limits is a check on arrogance, it is a check on incumbency and it is a check on power. It is a way to restore political courage while bringing fresh faces and ideas to Washington. As Benjamin Franklin said “In free governments the rulers are the servants, and the people their superiors and sovereigns. For the rulers to return among the people was not to degrade but to promote them.” Here’s the dilemma we face: over 80 percent of Americans want term limits to happen. Donald Trump and Barack Obama want it. It is being blocked purely by the self-interest of Congress.
If this were a trial, you all would have to recuse yourselves, because you have a colossal conflict of interest. If term limits pass, you won’t stay in the limelight forever. And some people might even stop laughing at your jokes. You’ll have to become…ordinary citizens. And that is the entire point. We are asking you to do what’s right and listen to the people you represent. It’s time to bring the gravy train into the station, end the reign of career politicians and give Congress back to the people. Please support Senate Joint Resolution 1 for term limits
