I’ve known my wife since 9th grade. No- we didn’t date the whole time and get married young…quite the opposite. Dated a bit in high-school, messed around during summers home from college. Saw each other at social events throughout our 20s then got together again at 27 and married at 30….started having kids. I know who she was, who she is, and who she wants to be (her best self). It was/is a good strategy and I love her dearly and she is an amazing partner in life!
