The issue that struck me most about Haley was that she is imposing herself on Trump the day of Rush Limbaugh’s death. President Trump is showing his respect for Rush and his family with calls to various outlets on Wednesday.
Haley doesn’t figure into any of the events from yesterday. She is so out of touch with anything resembling common sense or decency.

It does not matter. America has birthright citizenship.
Birthright citizenship is an assumption that has not been put to the test for many years; the last time the decision came down to whether or not the parents were subjects of (i.e. citizens of) another governing sovereign. The next time it came before the courts it was that if one parent was a US citizen then the child, when they turn 21 years of age can choose to either be known as a US citizen or the citizen of the nation their other parent was a citizen of. It is a question ripe for an honest Supreme Court to clarify as the nation goes forward.

Only thing that I would add to her list would be that President Trump kept as many of his campaign promises as he could. That made him very different from the political animals on both sides of the aisle.

But I believe she misses a key fact: the majority of Republicans in Congress aren’t committed to the America first policies. They won’t change and they can’t be trusted. I am a woman. Having worked in many hospitals with large quantities of women….I agree. Out of 30 yrs in the field there was only one nurse mgr who I would have walked on glass for. The rest were over rated, whiney, vindictive, and all about feelings. The menopause ones were horrid and looked like Hillary. I survived by avoidance and just doing my job so I had little interaction. I would never vote for someone just because they were a woman. I will take a sexual harassing man any day over the wrath of a woman. They have a pack mentality. I avoid packs.

As a brazen politician, lying is second nature to Nikki. She trashes our President and then wants favors from him. What is she thinking.
Her gimmick is Romney’s gimmick. She can find the middle ground every time. She can cut the baby in half, and make everyone happy. After ripping President Trump, she can meet with President Trump, and find the middle ground. The unholy compromise.

Regardless of what people think of Haley, she’s certainly not a stupid woman. She is very smart… yet her public behavior is stupid.
There is no way that Nikki could believe she could publically accuse/attack Trump and then Trump would agree to meet her. As expected, PDT refused to meet w/her which SHE KNEW he would do.
Therefore… for some reason Nikki WANTED Trump to reject a mtg w/her and she WANTED that rejection to be public.

I was just about to post along similar lines. Haley may be a Decepticon but she is unlikely to be a Dumb Decepticon. Either PDJT welcomed her approach and allowed a weakness narrative to develop or he rebuffed her. She would have expected the latter. It would be interesting to understand what is the logic of this tactic.
Romney logic. Compromise for the sake of compromise. She tried to find the middle ground with Trump. He refused. Now, Nikki pushes on without him. Morals, ethics, principles be damned.
I suspect it is more likely that Mitch and Mitt and Nikki live in such an echo chamber that they actually think that bashing Trump and then being dissed by him is career enhancing. It is possible that they are playing to the mega donors who love this stuff, which would make sense. Regardless, they have no clue how small their audience is.
