Looks like the first thing done is to legalize millions of illegals who will become democrat voters. I don’t know how this will be ever be overcome. ICE will be made to stand down or even completely neutered by executive order. There are already caravans of illegals on the way to the US where they will not be stopped. This is the end of America as we know it.

My reasoning is that they have no need of nuking the filibuster because they will be in the majority by virtue of having 48 D votes, 2 I votes, VP Harris’s(Boy howdy, that’s really hard to think of much less write!) tie breaker vote, and plenty of RINO squishy type votes that they won’t need to nuke filibuster mechanism.
Still need to get to 60 for critical legislation.

Exactly. There’s no REASON for Dems to retain the filibuster. Why should they have to buy off votes to get to 60 (and perhaps still come up short) when they can just change the rules? Their base already thinks the filibuster is illegitimate. Hell, the Dems’ base thinks the Senate itself is illegitimate – with Wyoming having the same number of senators as California. The Dems just went all-in on ballot fraud. They enlisted their media arm to cover for them and their social media confederates to censor anyone who mentions any concern about the legitimacy of the recent presidential election. In other words, they just used all of the logistical and propaganda tools currently at their disposal. They didn’t do that just so they could do small stuff like ratchet up the tax rates a couple of percent or give “Dreamers” permanent residency. They’re going to go big. Strike while the iron is hot. They know damn well that they’re likely to lose at least the House in 2022, so they’re going to do what they can as soon as they can to make structural changes that allow them to retain power and hope voters cool off a bit before the midterms. The “go big” possibilities include (but are not limited to): making millions of illegals into registered-voter citizens ASAP, making DC a state, making Puerto Rico a state, packing the courts, making universal mail-in voting a requirement (Perhaps in order to get any federal funding).
Manchin doesn’t have to visibly “agree” to these steps. All he has to do is vote to nuke the filibuster (it’s “undemocratic”). Then as each of the Dems’ structural chances comes up for a vote, Manchin can vote “nay” and they can just buy off one or two of the squish Republicans – or appeal to their purported Lincoln Project sense of “fairness”.
Manchin still has four years left in his term and has already outed himself. Saying Cruz and Hawley should be ejected from the senate because of how they voted on electors – claiming they ran afoul of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment (providing aid or comfort to rebels or insurrectionists) shows that he is not to be trusted. No one should put their hopes in Manchin. A democrat is a democrat is a democrat. And now that he’s said that Cruz and Hawley shouldn’t even be allowed to stay in the senate, he has one more built-in excuse to nuke the filibuster.
Please tell us how the Communists will lose the House when they control the voting machines.
Voter fraud is more difficult in a House district than a statewide election. It’s one thing for Fulton county to wait and come up with 5000 votes to swing a Senate seat. Can’t really pull that off in a lesser populated House district. Winning the House is possible, that’s why Obama was relocating immigrants to rural areas in red states. Vote dilution.

I guess you didn’t follow the elections or you’re just in denial. The President won in a landslide and they cheated and stole the election from President Trump. It wasn’t even a close election. If you think your candidate is going to win well dream on. But if for some reason your candidate wins well chances are he’s one of them.
They could pull a Harry Reid and just change the rules to their whim.
Lets just say I have my doubts,…for a# of reasons.
If the Swamp truly wants to TRY to get back to “business as usual”, the fillibuster is absolutely essential.
Remember what it was like, prior to “Trump”;
Candidates of both wings of the Uniparty, for Congress and WH, would regularly make campaign promises to segments of their respective bases, which they had no intention of keeping.
More broadly, each wing “Party” has party “platforms” in which they purported to lay out the parties aspirational goals, likewise lies.
And voters would vote for them, and they would fail (intentionally) to make good on their promises, and then next election cycle be back, begging for votes and donations, and making the same promises they still had no intention of keeping.
And getting reelected, in a Lucy and the football scenario.
The FILLIBUSTER has played a key role in this con; it has enabled “I will move the U.S. embassy to Jurusalem” ..”We will R &R Obamacare” and many other empty promises to be made to SEGMENTS of the electorate, to secure their votes and support, time and time again, enabled members of Congress to “serve” (screw) their constituencies for 30+ year careers.
Mitch, not Pelosi or Schumer, is the most powerful and feared member of Congress, and a great deal of his power stems from his ability to manipulate the fillibuster.
I will be surprised if they do eliminate it; as it will mean the Uniparty has decided it no longer needs the Rino wing, and that they think a one winged bird can fly.
If that were the case, Lindsey and McConnell would have lost reelection in 2020 (intentionally).
The fillibuster is how Mitch thinks he will reestablish the GOP, and “get back to the way things WERE, before “Trump”.
Lets see what happens, but to my mind, this one issue is the thing I will be watching the most, going foreward.

President Trump’s biggest flaw is him bragging that he prefers pens and paper over using computers, which means browsing the Internet is not a daily habit for him.
This makes you question just how much Internet freedom is President Trump allowed to have by his “staff”.
Just because DJT prefers pen and paper is no indication of his internet use. On the contrary, he has used twitter for years and his involvement in media/TV would lead me to believe he is a regular user and therefore knows the pitfalls which is exactly why his preference is pen and paper, much the same as using personal messengers in delicate foreign affairs

And because of the China virus, the President has also been locked down most of the last year along with the rest of us….no opportunities to get out and meet with “real” people and to travel the country, only being fed whatever info his “advisors” thought he should be given, delegating responsibility to people like Mike Pence to manage the Coronavirus Task Force, which was by far the biggest mistake IMHO. He has gotten horrible counsel, time and time again, from people that he clearly trusted who, just as clearly, had a completely different agenda. Sundance has alluded to it but has never, to my knowledge, actually named names but I hope that he will do so now. We all suspected Mike Pence was part of the “insurance policy” but the others who are equally suspicious in my mind are Jared and Ivanka…

A couple of days ago I connected the dots, like a light bulb moment, between Pence, Fauci and the demonic force. All makes perfect sense now. But look at the carnage. The missed Funerals, Masses, Weddings, Christenings, Births. The gutted education of my 3 grandsons, the poor and the less well off. Remote working from home for nearly a year. The list goes on and on and on.
So the lie has to metastasize across the whole of the world, until we are ingulfed further and further away from any resemblance of truth. All by design.
I’m not a Jared and Ivanka hater, in fact I have defended them because I felt like POTUS needed someone around him he could trust. Yes they lean left, partly due to age and partly due to being from NYC. I always felt like POTUS was strong enough in his beliefs not to be swayed by them on climate change, etc. Jared especially has been a dutiful soldier in many areas.
So again I’m not a Javanka hater, however I can’t for the life of me figure out this Ivanka for senate in Florida threat. Sorry, but she leans too far left. Floridians are not inclined to back a carpet bagger. I want Marco gone as much as anybody, but I don’t think Ivanka has the popularity they think she does. She is not trusted by many on the right and is reviled on the left, so who is going to vote for her? Talk about a rino. The MAGA crowd would vote for Don Jr., in my opinion. They would at least give him a shot, he’d have to make his own case on issues, but we’d listen. I think a lot of MAGA would tune Ivanka out from the start.
If a Trump was to run for office, I would like to see Eric’s wife, Lara. She is always impressive in interviews.
I’d vote for either Lara or Eric – I like real – not fake! Ivanka’s pretty and Smart and Don Jr is quick witted and appears manly enough but Eric and Lara are the real deal! Why would you think that a daughter that he loves and holds dear, including her husband and children, would ever think of doing something harmful to her father. That is just way out in left field. They appear in every aspect a very close and loyal family and President Trump is well aware of Ivanka’s somewhat more democratic views, he was once a democrat himself. I try not to think that people lean towards age old antisemitism with these views but I don’t know why else one might think Ivanka and Jared would deliberately go against their father, I don’t believe they would.
I am far from the only one who has expressed concerns about Jared and Ivanka and “antisemitism” has absolutely NOTHING to do with my opinions and if you had ever read anything that I post on here on a very regular basis you would know that is not who I am or how I think!
The hatred of Ivanka and Jared always gets me. The way I see it Ivanka would need an extremely deep seated hatred of her father to be one of his betrayers and I frankly don’t see it. President Trump obviously trusts Jared. Again, deep seated hatred. Jared’s father was pardoned and Jared hates the man who pardoned his father?
Besides do people understand what they are actually saying about President Trump when they make the claim he does everything Ivanka and Jared tells him? Mike Lindell is a good person. Like him, I want to see ALL the evidence—the evidence so far shows this election was not free and fair.
As for my vote? My vote wasn’t counted. The polling place official gave me a black sharpie pen to mark my paper ballot.

If Mike Lindell has hard evidence the election was rigged via the machines he has to show how the ballot counts matched. I would caution Mike against trusting Mary Fanning. If Mike slanders Dominion, and he is wrong, he will lose his company.

Listening to Lindell talk about when he presented his evidence to the two lawyers, and their responce sounds eerily similar to Sundances account of his meeting with was his name, the guy actually conducting the “Durham investigation” that Sundance outed.

I’m looking forward to reading Sundance’s posts, after Inauguration, after Senate trial, if it illegally takes place, about what are the most logical AND have a chance of succeeding steps to take to combat the the system of illegalities we face at every turn.
I feel that simply electing new people to the House is meaningless if their voices are ignored, which they will be.
A person like AOC can yell, scream, issue hate, inanities, offer far, far left policies and be treated by the press not as a crazy person but simply as an articulate spokesperson for moving her party leftward. She succeeded too. Even if Biden doesn’t move that far left, local school districts are being pressured to do so, and we’ll see the results of that left wing agenda everywhere.
Were we to copy that strategy, offer up a far, far right person for Congress in an area in which we believed he or she could actually get elected (that scares me too, extremism is difficult to control once it’s unleased), that voice would be silenced by Mitch OR, if Mitch chose to work in cahoots with the media, they’d gladly offer up that person as a crazy, with Mitch labeling him a MAGA supporter and the media liking MAGA to crazy.
So, that strategy can’t work in helping the GOP move off position.
Next, we saw just how corrupt and cowardly are members of GOP state legislatures. What to do about that. We don’t have 10 years to do this.
The only thing I can think of is that some people need jailing.
We need a “Lawfare” of our own.
how about we offer up a strong Constitutional Conservative. I know what the litmus test is for that. (and no it is not a law degree)

I disagree with the authors terminology; “conservative” ceased to be a term I would apply to myself, when Romney asserted “I am a true Conservative”, and Neocons like Chrystal and Wills, and squishes like David Brooks were described as “conservative”, but strategically, as ONE PART of a strategy, I agree with what he is suggesting.
However, the Republican primary is run by the Republican party, and they have manipulated the process forever.
So, I think we need to break with, and then break the party, using the strategy he suggests.
Simultaneously, since the Georgia runoff confirmed we can’t get a “fair shake” in elections until we clean up the fraud, at the local, county and State level, we need to do a lot of work to push for “F&F”; free and fair elections.
Finally, look how the thought police manipulators have got into our heads, when campaigning for policies to improve the lives of ALL Americans, by fair trade agreements, ending endless wars, bringing manufacturing into the U.S., secure borders, “Peace thru Strength”,”Economic Security is National Security” supporting law enforcement and the military i.e. the “America First” MAGA agenda, is considered “extremism”?

Many of us are grieving the loss of our President and our country right now. One of the things that I have found helpful when grieving is to list what the person meant to us. In an effort to work through my own sadness, I have penned the following letter to President Trump:
Dear President Trump;
I want you to know that I believe you are the greatest President in my lifetime of 68 years. I am so sorry you had to go through all that you have had to. I wish there was a way to take away some of your pain.
Even though your term has been cut short due to the evil of the Uniparty and the corruption in all the branches of our government, you will be remembered by many for your amazing accomplishments. However, I believe your greatest legacy will be how you revealed to “We the People”, the overwhelming amount of corruption prevalent in our government.
I am a retired physician. I first worked as a self-employed Family Doctor for 20 years. In mid-life I went back to do a second residency in Psychiatry. I spent the last part of my career working as a Psychiatrist at the VA, helping our wounded vets. When I first made the change from being self-employed to becoming a federal employee, I was astonished at how hard it was to get things done. I was also amazed at how crooked the system was. Friends would ask me how I could handle the stress of dealing with wounded veterans. My response was that dealing with the veterans was much less stressful than dealing with the corrupt and inefficient administration. My sense about you is that it was probably easier for you to run the mechanics of the country than deal with the corruption and inefficiency inside our own government.
Before entering the Presidency, I am sure you were aware that there was corruption in the government; however I wonder if you, like me, were astonished to learn just how bad it was. You helped so many of us to see just how crooked our “justice” system is.
I am sad to see you go. I, along with many others, are grieving now. Our hearts are broken. We are sad to realize that our beloved country is headed toward communism.
I want to thank you for all your efforts: for your courage, your leadership, your honesty, your brilliance, your willingness to follow God’s way, your support for life, your commitment to keeping your promises, your love for your country. You truly are an amazing person who used your talents for the betterment of our country. Thank-you. You are blessed.
I don’t know what God has in store for you next, but I pray that you hear His voice clearly. Please take care of yourself and your family. Be the best husband and the best Father you can be. Melania has been through a lot. Please thank her for us for allowing you to spend untold hours away from her. Of course, no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. I pray that your marriage be strengthened through this crisis. Baron is watching you. He needs you to be available to him. My sense is that you are a “doer”. Right now, I wonder whether Baron may just need you to “be”. Please listen to his concerns. He too has been through a lot.

The reason I ask is this there are three in a row that left Topeka, KS going into Andrews.
Yes there is an air refueling wing at Andrews but these planes stay on the ground 30-45 minutes then back airborne.
This will make 5 KC-135’s this morning plus such a short leg Topeka to Andrews.
Seems more like a drop and go flight IMO but curious if any military folks know if these old birds have or can be retrofitted?
I was in the USAF Security Police for 8 years. A bunch of us needed to be transported to another base and they used a retrofitted KC-135 to transport us. This was in the ’70’s.

So yes looks like they are still piling in troops as 4 Gopher C-130 flights landed and departed within 45 mins or so at New Castle Co Airport near Wilmington which is 120 miles from Dc so that seems a little strange.
Also looks like 4 KC-135’s into Andrews and then out in 30-45 minutes.
What is hilarious is that there aren’t going to be any or very very few IMO MAGA folks in DC on Wed.

I was referring to the loss in Georgia’s runoff senate races. Those losses right before the vote to certify two days later, after PDJT worked his butt off and laid his own popularity and clout on the line convinced some of the weak-kneed GOPers that his influence was waning and that the future was with the GOPe. You’re correct. If anyone takes the time to look, or if they were watching Richard Baris during the runoff election, they would know that Republicans under performed in heavily red areas. In fact, the dem vote in the Atlanta region was way down from Nov 3, but the Republican vote in northern GA and a few other solid red areas plummeted.
Sad that many Trump voters listen more intently to Lin Wood than to Trump himself.

We rescued a lab mix from a no kill pound a few years back when we lived in Wyoming. He was a sweet dog, but had some troubling behaviors. We contacted the pound to see if there were any details they could share about his life that may help us manage him, only to discover during that conversation that Jack had lived his entire life (seven years) on a concrete slab at the pound; they hadn’t mentioned that fact when we adopted him. We just couldn’t send him back after discovering what a pitiful existence he had endured so we made a commitment to do our best to give that dog a decent life.
Fast forward a few years, and our daughter was born. No matter what we did to help Jack get used to Bonnie Blue he wasn’t having it. One day when my husband was out, Jack bit our little one. I cried for her and I cried for Jack.
I simply said, “Jack bit Bonnie” to my husband when he came home for supper. Without a single word, he went to the fridge grabbed a steak, went to the garage got his gun, and then whistled for Jack. His supper lay cold for hours and I eventually went to bed. I heard his truck pull in late into the night and met him at the door. He was tired, smelled of whiskey and had dried tear stains on his cheeks. We went to bed without any words between us.

Jack wasn’t bad. He was damaged by all those years of isolation and lack of good medical care. He suffered from deep inner ear infections, sore hips, and a terrible fear of sudden high pitched loud noises (long before our daughter was born).
We loved Jack. My husband did the right thing.

I feel for you & your husband. I can imagine how hard it was to do what had to be done. I cried like a baby for weeks when we’ve had to put one of ours down.
Not every dog at the shelter will make a good pet. Some are too badly damaged. Two Pitbulls killed a dog at our shelter. This wasn’t the first time for the one but she refused to put them down.
When I worked at the shelter I would see these damaged dogs get adopted and returned time and time again. People think all they need is love but that’s not true.
Your husband did exactly what had to be done, as a man, as a dad. There is no equivalence between an innocent child and an animal. The decision was clear, carrying it out heartbreaking.

I was trying to make a point (that seems to have gotten lost in the sauce) that every man has moments that present themselves where they must act. I believe President Trump is facing one of those moments. The experience with Jack doesn’t even compare to what he is up against, none the less he will be making a choice in the next few days.

Lulu, Jack was very scared of sudden high pitched noises and reacted with aggression usually just growling. We believe his consistent ear infections (that didn’t respond well to treatment) added to the outcome. The day he bit Bonnie, at the age of 10 months, she was squeezing one of her farm toys while sitting in her play seat. I was doing dishes and Jack was at my feet, he didn’t growl, this time he charged 10 feet and bit her.

What if the lady is a first-time mother, and she learned the hard way that her dog didn’t take a liking to the toddler? Happens all the time. Dog loves X, dog hates Y. Why? Ask the dog. I really dont get why people have such a problem here. If you take a dog to a shelter that bit a kid it gets put down. Most wont take them off your hands. If you dont tell them its a biter and it bites someone else that can come back on you. You lived in an extremely low population state hence why the dog was never adopted, and you had no other reasonable options. You deserve no guilt

It does require thoughtful consideration to understand the concept.
Her story is perfect for the times.
It was a judgment call that caused her personal grief but that she felt was the necessary. She put it out there to illustrate the sometimes harsh measures are the ones pretty well dictated by reality, even if deep down the harsh measure is not the desired one. Tie it in to today’s presidential options with respect to opaque, manipulated elections and the gallery of citizens watching and awaiting in judgment for the outcome.
She got ripped for it because critics, lacking details, know the whole story so well that they can lecture her on her lack of morality and value as a human and mother and then figuratively wish ill upon her.
On top of that, they attack her rather than take home the message of her story. Rather like Anti-Trumpers who can’t get past Trump’s style and get on with his pro-America message. Her lesson is more valuable than she thinks, because it outs the savagely puerile among our own ranks…and we wonder why the GOP cratered itself.

There are shelters which put down animals turned in for biting. She could have delivered the dog to one of those and have been cleared of all CTH charges for the same end result.
Or, deliver it to a No-kill shelter. Her personal result would be the same.

A note on the “sacredest place” to consider. The DC Metro and Capital Cops were likely “briefed” with all sorts of hyper superlative statements that would hopefully put them on edge to increase chances of them using a weapon. The fact there were no shootings by police other than the premeditated murder of the USAF Veteran is testament to the actual professionalism of the cops who were there. Plus there is the utter calm of the cop in this video that says there was no riot.
This is the big bad riot and historic breach of chambers that the entire Congress cowered and hid from while their lives were supposedly in danger? Really?
