Trump declassifying trove of FBI memos exposing Steele’s motivations, ties to impeachment witness
Once-secret documents will show Steele told FBI he leaked Russia collusion narrative to counteract Clinton email scandal.
Among the bombshell revelations is an admission by Steele that he violated his confidential human source agreement with the FBI and leaked information from his dossier to the news media in the final weeks of the election because he wanted to counteract new revelations in the Hillary Clinton email scandal that were hurting her election efforts. The former foreign intelligence officer made the confession in a fall 2017 interview with agents.
The documents also will settle a long-debated question in Washington about whether the FBI’s tactics amounted to spying on the Trump campaign.
Tasking instructions the FBI gave to Halper, an academic who long worked as an FBI informant, make clear he was instructed to infiltrate the Trump campaign by posing as someone who wanted to work for the GOP nominee and then targeting campaign advisers to find out what they knew about Trump or his campaign’s ties to Russia.
Halper was specifically instructed by the FBI to focus on campaign advisers Sam Clovis, George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, in some cases recording some of their conversations, the records are expected to show.

They r afraid, IMO, to collect together b/c it would be real easy to arrest them in one full swoop.
At most, there MAY be 100+/- Trump supporter protestors at the inauguration. That’s zero threat to biden w/20k NG hovering around.
Something else is clearly going on. Don’t know what but I am feeling better & more hopeful. Over the past week++, I think I have been going through the stages of grief: denial, crying acceptance/depression, anger & blame, actions to take now… repeat, over and over. ?

I read an article regarding the National Guard.And fema. When president trump brought fema into Washington DC After declaring A national emergency in Washington DC as well as 4 or 5 other States,and then ordered the National Guard to come in to the area he effectively was giving control of our government to fema And the military. If you read title 50 of fema it apparently States that because they are responsible for moving populations out of disaster areas they have full control.

Most of this info has been out there for a couple of years. The actual documents will fill in blanks and provide the proof, but nothing was done about any of it by the only agency that could, the DOJ. So to quote the star of the Russian Hoax, “what difference does it make?”

Blue Wildflower, Hi, yes GAB is experiencing Massive growth right now and sometimes it seems near impossible to sign on/access. It is slowly improving and I find it is easier to access early mornings (i’m on central time) between 5-7am. They are adding servers daily and scaling as quickly as they can.
FYI – Treehouse Friends is a private group and you’ll have to request to join. I did not start the group so I don’t know who moderates it, but with the slow down GAB is experiencing it took 2 days for me to be approved.
Today was my first day to access and there are 148 members so far and I recognize most of the usernames there as they are the same usernames here.

EweTurn, the pages are loading very slow and twitchy. Not a social media guru or anything, but I have to reload a page several times to see any updates, due to their massive influx of traffic everything is slowed down.

I’m not monitoring, but I guess I still have my account. I haven’t gone there since they banned Trump. I’ll go back someday because I have interest other than politics. Twitter was an excellent source of information on many things if you follow reputable sources. I never saw the sleazy side of twitter much.
I signed up for Parlor in June, but just started using it regularly (it’s not as easy as twitter) and bam it’s gone. I’m really not interested in jumping to another one and will wait and see if Parlor makes it back.
Gab is a lot like Twitter and much easier to navigate than Parler. It is slow these days but I blame that on the influx.

Co workers are asking me for advice on how to “fight back” peacefully. I have told them the standard…drop Facebook, Google, Whatsapp, Messenger, Amazon, etc.
However when it comes to banking they know they need to pull their money out of the banks, but are wondering if local credit unions are ok and safe?
Any opinions on banking with local credit unions instead of regular banks? Are they better and if so why?

Credit unions will at least do business with the legal pot shops. We used to bank at a credit union, through which we got vehicle loans. Don’t EVER be late, even a day late on a payment we learned. I had a major job loss 2 years ago (Downsized from Dow Chemical in the DuPont merger) and they were very hard to work with. We ended up switching to a conventional, LOCAL bank, but most of what we do is in cash. I even go pay the utility bills in cash at payment locations. I’m a waitress now and made more cash this summer than I was making in an upper middle management job at Dow. Husband’s company requires direct deposit, so we just draw the cash out when his deposit hits and leave a little in there. At any rate, in my opinion, small LOCAL banks are best if you can still find them around. I know its difficult for people in large urban areas.
On the waitressing, is it because people are tipping big because of CV risk?
More personal, though less so in recent times and during the -19 operation. More flexible. More ‘local’. I used to work at one, one I was a member of since 1970 and my dad a founding member, on loan committee and we kept the loans in-house and still called in members and discussed loans with them personally if needed, conversations which sometimes changed a ‘no’ into a ‘yes’, and members got a chance to personally ask us hard questions each year when we ran for credit union office at the public meetings of the membership. Community. Again, things are a bit less personal now but it varies by CU. Ask around. I haven’t had money in a bank since the mid-80’s except retirement accounts at an investment company.
We are leaving Navy Federal Credit Union after being members for over 30 years because they’ve just become too “big bank”. My daughter works for them at their large campus here in Escambia County (FL) and after spending billions on the brand new campus, it is shutdown (due to CCP flu)
So disappointed in their service and their draconian way of dealing with customers since the CCP flu hit. We are going to a local well funded Credit Union.

I’m not able to go into whether banks or credit unions are better. But I will tell you that I don’t have any bank accounts; and have been a member of the same credit union for over 30 years and have no plans to change anytime soon. They have been more than excellent with me and my financial needs.

I only use non-member banks (not a member of Federal Reserve)
I think that is the key…bank with a credit union that is not covered by FDIC ( but is insured through NCUA) and are NOT members of the Federal Reserve ( the arms of the Vampire Squid)
If you have accounts that are FDIC insured, you are a member of the Federal Financial System. Plus, ALL banks have to follow SEC and Federal Banking rules for handing deposits and withdrawals as well as reporting. There is no escaping big brother but the thoughtofre sisting is good to embody.
My wife’s family bank (which was sold 2 years ago) was a non-member bank but was insured by the FDIC, and yes they had to follow all federal banking laws. Even credit unions have to follow all federal banking laws and are subject to federal bank examiners.
Is there NO benefit then to switching from big commercial bank to local credit union if you want to diminish the globalist banking cabal’s power?

Several benefits. My understanding is Credit unions are not for profit, and so what WOULD be profit, they return to members in additional services, or waiving of fees a bank would charge.
Been with Credit Unions for many years, and been pleased with how I have been treated.
I think even if you went to all cash, you would still be involved in banking system.
Its not so much a matter of NO involvement, so much as “reducing your footprint”, like they say with the carbon nonsense.
Each of us do, what we gotta. Right now, I am focused on trying to “boycott” big tech, with my DATA, since vacuuming up and selling Data is whats made them rich.

I have several bank accounts both in the USA and in Canada via the Royal Bank of Canada with a small percentage of my retirement in each. I also have credit union accounts. My money is not invested in any one bank. I don’t trust any of them anywhere. I figure by spreading everything around I’ll be less likely to get burned unless they all go down at once. Same thing with credit cards. I have a wallet full of them and I make sure each one is paid off in full each month but I collect points and rewards.

That’s a great question. If anyone is struggling to determine where a line is or what “hill to die on”, that would certainly help to provide some clarity. Some people and institutions stand up for their rights while others capitulate.

It’s an interesting position. Maybe, yes, Dominion didn’t directly do the fraud, but it doesn’t mean the fraud wasn’t done. The problem is their software allowed the fraud to occur and, most likely, they knew of the vulnerabilities.
This is an interesting tactic they are taking: forcing people to “retract” statements that only they can help prove true. I’m truly surprised they sued Sydney Powell knowing she took on the corrupt DOJ and Judge Sullivan. And, I don’t think she’ll settle with a non-disclosure agreement to give Dominion a “win” in public opinion: people will remember they sued Sydney Powell for defamation and no one will pay attention to a case quietly getting dismissed.
The Michigan case and Sydney’s case will be interesting to see if they allow for some light to be shed.

I know who is on my city council, but it’s time to make sure that they are committed. Same for the county board. It’s time to look at a replacement for our sheriff (good man, but up in years and more politically motivated than committed). Time to get to know well, my state reps, look for someone to replace them if they aren’t good, and look at a replacement for governor.
We have to start somewhere, and it makes sense to start banding together with those in closest proximity, and securing our hamlets and towns, and moving outward.

I wrote all of my reps (all R’s) after the election nonsense. I received an email explaining how well WA does it elections – I wrote back that he was “towing” the political line and either stupid or corrupt (two of them didn’t even bother to write back – not even a form letter). I do not believe that Inslee increased his votes from 1.76m to 2.29m votes given how unpopular he is with the Covid, people did NOT moving into the riot-torn Seattle, and the fact that he did very little outreach (no campaigning, and he was AWFUL in the virtual “debate”). California, here we come. So sad, and unfortunately this disease seems to spread unchecked.

Social media has totally banned Donald Trump, General Flynn, and Sidney Powell from speaking on their platforms but has anyone seen these people being interviewed on live TV? Fox? Newsmax? OAN? C-SPAN? How about radio? Rush? Bongino? Giuliani? Hannity?
They just impeached a president because he had the temerity to go on national TV on 1/6 and read off a litany of evidence, representing only a small fraction of the overall evidence, of blatant election theft wherein the votes of 74+ million Americans were negated, so that tells you just how desperate they are to cover this up and keep these folks quiet.

This Ipsos poll is interesting in a lot of ways. Granted it’s a lamestream poll and presumably biased, but there’s still interesting stuff from there and worth looking at, IMO.
One of the most interesting things is that of self-identified Republicans, given the choice between saying they were “traditional republicans” or Trump supporters, 56% chose traditional, and 36% chose Trump. Even if you reverse those numbers, it is still lower than I would have thought. I think however if you polled traditional republicans on MAGA policy positions without Trump’s name it would be near 100%.
On its face however, it suggests a 3rd party can absolutely deny victory to GOP, but faces an uphill climb to defeat both a democrat and a “traditional” GOP candidate. Races would have to be chosen wisely to conserve resources.

Really hard to see what people are thinking when they answer true/false type questions. I consider myself a traditional republican, but I think the two best examples are PDJT and Reagan. The GOPe to a lot of people does not reflect traditional republican values. But I consider PDJT the best president ever, and support MAGA taking over the republican party rather than replacing it. IMO, dividing the conservative vote keeps dems in office.
