Think about the epic-ness of this. The Donald J Trump presidential library containing all the declassified and damning documents from the last 5 years of Swamp activity for anyone and everyone to see for generations of Swamp draining efforts.
Unfortunately, the swamp will do the same thing that was done with 100’s of thousands of documents from the obama administration,…. they will all go missing.

That is why the Impeachment – they are attempting to deny President Trump any of the “perks” a President receives after leaving office, and the Presidential library is one of those along with Secret Service.
I’ve read that, but if I recall Nixon’s library was private and only brought under the umbrella of Presidential libraries after his death I believe.
Did they pass some kind of law so no POTUS could do that again? If so riddle me this, could he simply have the Donald J. Trump library?

Jefferson ordered a great deal of his written documents destroyed upon his death.
Nixon’s documents and everything else were kept by NARA in one of their storage facilities in Alexandria VA. NARA runs all of them but Obama’s. Last I heard, he wasn’t using NARA to run his – It was also said he wasn’t going to have a lot to read and it would all be digital. His “library” has a performance space, a nature space, etc. I’m not sure you could call it a library from what I read in the Chicago Tribune a couple of years ago.
Really they libraries have become money laundering schemes and shrines to ex-presidents. The libraries did not even start until the middle of the 20th century and are now monuments.
I say if they deny a government Trump library he should build his own Trump museum and charge admission.
Obama’s library in Chicago does not contain his documents. It is a social club.

Maybe one reason. IMO, the immediate reason to impeach PDJT… is IF he is still the POTUS, lawfully, on Jan 21. They quick hold a trial in the Senate. If 2/3 vote to remove, they can force Trump out anyway and pence is installed as potus.
The Senate trial, however, would reveal a lot of crimes committed by those seeking to remove him. Hopefully 2/3 of senators would not vote to convict.
If they do, can they do so to hide their own crimes and have it stick? Don’t know.

My toilet has been making a horrible sound like a tornado alarm, overnight. So I needed to order a replacement fill valve assembly.
Since I am majorly pissed at amazon, and now home depot is dissing us, I looked at the manufacture site for a replacement.
Did you know American Standard is made in Japan? Lixil corp. And their website is obviously in Japan, since every click took 2min to load the next page.
DuckDG couldnt even find a single vendor for the part besides amazon. I finally gave up and tried google search. It only gave me ridiculously higher price options, ebay, walmart and amazon.
But, I tried Lowes and found the better version of the same part, plus a flush tower and a whole lot more parts in a kit for half the amazon price for the lower grade part alone .
It is going to be a real PITA, but I personally am going to fight back against all of these companies that pissed on us!
We have let them get to much control. It is going to be a fight to get back out.
Not sure about the current government, but Japan under Abe was a huge ally of Trump and America. I would have to research each company but if there’s no American alternative, I would consider Japan.
Funny thing is an American company Flush Master makes the parts inside the tank, and Lixil contracts the porcelin manufacture out to Mexico. Japan doesnt make any of it.
You can get a brand new John at Lowe’s for $ 159.99 American standard good ones. Turn off water valve.Remove old toilet and breakup and discard. Sometimes the top cover can be used as a decorative garden accent. Install the included wax ring then the jug tighten down the included hardware gently but firmly. Turn on the water have a seat and proceed to uh drop an Obama.
For the first or even second timers – pick up an extra wax ring in case you don’t get it seated properly the first time!

Lowe’s in Hoffman estates, IL closed abruptly, on a Monday morning I was looking for something and had to drive across the street to a Home Depot. The guy I knew at the pro desk says hey did you hear what happened at Lowe’s last night? Apparently Sunday night they called all employees into the back room and laid everyone off, they turn to leave and the police are there to escort everyone out.
I am supposed to give 2 weeks notice when I quit, but this company terminated a large enough group of people without any notice. I get business is business, but I care about my community over business every day of the week and twice on Sunday, it’s clear to me that Lowe’s does not care about the community.
I have never since and will never again spend another dollar at a Lowe’s.
I bought some paint at Lowe’s vs Home Depot a year ago, because I was told I could get a $100 rebate in a $200 purchase.
Rebate site never worked, then months later when it started working, rejected my rebate code as expired.
Screw Lowe’s, they are forever dead to me.
I agree. Lowe’s hates their customers. I won’t spend any of my hard earned money there either. Besides, I can’t find anybody in the store to help me or tell me where to find anything. Best to drive a few miles to my local family-owned hardware store. Not only do they show me what to buy, but also how to fix it. And since the YouTube is censoring, too, I don’t use it for the instructional videos either.
Had a buddy who worked at Lowe’s for years. They treat their employs like shit. They had a meeting right before he quit. They no longer allowed employees to make coffee in their break room. Coffee pot was bought and paid for by employees. They said it cost to much in electric.
They also constantly move people around to different stores some to stores they know the person cannot travel to. They hire and fire. It’s a big chopping block.
Buddy had 7 years there. Never got so much as a card for Xmas or thanksgiving. Yet the upper tears get 100s thousand dollar bonuses. Pretty sad.
Ya ever at store ask the people there how they are treated. I always ask different stores.
Was at a Best Buy one time talking to a fella buying a tv or something. Anyhow his manger comes over starts giving him crap. I looked at the manger and asked him what kind of asshole he was. He sorta started at me.

Ace Hardware is corporate but stores are owned by locals. That is who I use, and even though we have an idiotic mask ordnance in our small town the owners and their employees rarely wear them

Ours wear them but never challenge anyone who chooses not to wear them. More expensive but closer to where I live. Definitely owned locally.
Our local Ace is locally owned. Its the Helpful Place. I have always had a great experience in Ace. And they usually can order stuff quickly if they don’t have what you need in stock.
Mike – That’s a pretty short-sighted view when you don’t know the details of what happened. There could be many reasons that people were let go on the spot and some of them would support your position but others may not. I’d find out why before judging.
I will bet that Lowe’s gave them at least two weeks pay.
In defense of Lowe’s. In my big city our Home Depots do not carry In Stock appliances. So if your refrigerator or washing machine dies you cannot run over to HD and buy a new one.
However, at Lowe’s you can. I appreciate that they keep much of their major appliances in stock.
Doesn’t Illinois have a law that requires that an employer give notice to employees before a closing that involves 50 or more employees? I thought that a closure had a 60 day notice requirement.

I know. I was looking for a particular style of winter cap. I used the Amazon search, found the style I wanted and went to that company directly to order. Low and behold there was no way to order it directly from the company. Apparently, they are set up to only supply Amazon. I passed, I didn’t really need it.
I’ve had this exact experience. On the other hand, keep trying. I’ve also been able to order both directly from smaller manufacturers (call on the phone) as well as received cooperation from them either giving me local retailers I did not know about or making arrangements for me to purchase through a retailer contact that otherwise did not carry the item.
Agree, but I do expect it to get harder. PDJT was bringing it back home and we were starting to see American made options, but fear that will be short lived after the COVID attack and the “new gang”
I agree with you on that. I research everything before buying. I am still using Amazon to some extent, but I’m searching on how to get away from them. I don’t go to Lowe’s, Home Depot, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, or any of those places any more.
Even buying from a local place you have to be careful about where the product is made. Difficult finding things not made in Chy-na.
However, American’s are resilient and creative – we built this country! Our biggest fault is that we went to sleep and allowed the tyrants to steal it from us. The best way to fight back is to hit them in the wallet. I’m keeping a spreadsheet and taking names.
One way people haven’t mentioned to fight back is to only buy the loss leaders from those businesses. They will often offer some products at such low prices they cannot make money. The theory is to get you in the store and you’ll buy something else while you’re there and they’ll make money on that. If you’re careful, you can periodically find items where they are losing money and buy only those. That does not help their business, it costs them money.
Perhaps one day you will share your spreadsheet with us?
Been doing the same myself. I needed those temp sensitive vent door openers and I spent an entire day searching but I finally found a company in Finland that makes them for twice the price of anything from China through Amazon. My neighbour laughed at me. But guess what? His broke before the end of summer in his first season and mine are still going strong.
I went to find a book I need for class. The only place that came up where it is available was Amazon. I cannot find it anywhere else. And, it is only available as a kindle book. No other sources available. They have so much locked up. They overtook so many retailers. It is going to be hard going forward.
It will be difficult to disengage with Apple & Google too, but we must.
Tech has provided tremendous ease and efficiency, but the way things have evolve it has done so at the expense of choice & independence.
It has reduced cost. But at some point not too far in the future when most of the profits from economic activity go in to fewer and fewer pockets that will no longer be the case.
We have to take back control of our choices and independence.
Anti-monopoly actions are imperative to do that.
Delta is pretty decent. Some say better than American Standard. Only a few things manufactured in China.
I replaced my sixty year old American standard with a new one, it was so aweful I took it out and replaced it with an industrial grade one.

The news stations in Dallas are carrying the story of the FBI Agent who testified at the indictment of a Denton, TX person for actions at the DC protest. The only testimony cited was that the FBI agent said the person’s Facebook Account was loaded with racist and White Supremacist Materials.
I’m not seeing anything about the FBI clearing PDJT.

Scott Adams is still relevant. For weeks, he’s noted how Teacher Unions are the cause of much of society’s problems.
Adams is spot on. So, will conservatives work hard to win school boards and fight the Left wing run Teachers Unions?
As usual, Scott is like so many that don’t point to the source of a problem. Teacher’s unions certainly are a problem but not the root of it. The problem is the voters. They can vote school board members out and run against them, then take action to change the schools. That includes leaving the unions. Not every school system is part of the unions. Some communities have independent systems that work directly with the teachers as employees and don’t have to deal with unions.
But the bottom line is that every problem we are facing is because the voters have allowed it to happen. This started about 70 years ago and got worse and worse over time. This is not new, it’s just grown worse over time because voters did not do their job of holding people accountable.

My phone does this automatically it is not me taking that action. I have to be careful to scroll from the left side of my phone screen or I’ll flag every comment. I have been trying to diligently go back and unflag anything I inadvertently flag. I’ve skipped coming here quite a bit because I feel like a troll and I am NOT doing any of it on purpose.

I have been experiencing the same problem intermittently, since CTH 2.0 began.
I am running Firefox on Windows.
My suspicion is that it has to do with how the CTH server caches pages.
My hope is that the server-software developers will address this.
This happened to me at first also until I not only cleared my cache of cookies and such, I had to delete my CTH bookmarks, and in a search engine of your choice time in theconservativetreehouse.com click on the link and re-bookmark CTH. Never had another problem .

When I click a thread to read the comments, it always opens the current page, which may be page one, or may be page 8, 12, or whatever. It may have a lot of comments or just a few. I manually navigate backward in the thread to read earlier pages of comments.

In my eyes as the above video seems to show it is a fact that there was bad faith in the election process. It is provable. Trump side hasn’t shown all of their cards yet.
I’m trying to be forward looking and wondering what is going to happen. The scenario I’ve in mind currently is that it seems Democrats are going to be on the top stops. In the spotlight.

Washington State Democrats Proposing Legislation to Ensure They Win All Future Elections and Prevent Any Public Disclosure of Fraud Embedded in the Process
The House in Washington State is proposing a law to make elections less transparent so they can steal them into perpetuity. They want to pass a bill exempting election security information from public records.
The Democrats in the state of Washington are afraid of being caught stealing future elections like they did the last one. So they want to make information that comes out of an audit of security reviews and other similar information away from its citizens review.

Two items to watch for as the weekend progresses.
The local Dallas TV news outlets were carrying the breath taking story of the indictment of a Denton, TX person who was arrested, on Federal Charges, for participating in the DC Protest. The key testimony was by a local FBI Agent who said this person’s Facebook account was loaded with racist and White Supremacist rants but nothing about the charges.
Noticed on the news feeds of the primary e-mail carriers that there is a an emerging story of “massive bitcoin transfers to right wing organizations being followed by law enforcement during the time leading up to the DC Protest”.
When you own the ALL the media and very creative “Hollywood” screen writers, anything is possible.
Never mind that China Inc. is a major shareholder in bitcoin and cyber currency industries.
When a lie gets too big it gets out of hand and falls apart. The media narrative can’t sustain the weight of the truth. people are awakening to this like never before.
They (Dallas Fox4 am) completely ignored the arrest of Antifa leader posing as a Trump supporter.

I used to be a big Stuart Varney fan until he also joined the controlled opposition 2 years ago.
The interesting thing about many of the older FBN hosts is that they were the ones who left CNN and NBC to FORM FBN due to the politics at their former employers.

It functions uniquely to allow people to efficiently communicate.
In large part it is successful because as is often the case the pioneer in an Idea has the most initial success.
As far as the question of the ownership of the idea of “communication” Twitter does not own that.
And Twitter does not own the efficiency of the communication either.
The efficiency is by virtue of the Internet.
The reason we find ourselves where we are with Twitter being protected is because big forces do not want unfettered, efficient and free communication.
Note that Twitter also bought up a number of blogging platforms that could have been competitive.

These owners are the real power of cyber space and it is no accident that their major shareholders include Foreign Governments and that those same companies are being (and have been) awarded major US Government Contracts for cyber space development and management as a GROUP.
