I actually suspect that Melania tried to help Karen Pence and give her advice or a heads’ up about what she would be wearing…as she did with numerous other First Ladies from other nations when they would be appearing together. But Karen Pence clearly didn’t want to listen and so continued to wear clothes that were poorly fitting and often highly unflattering.

I was not referring to her looks in a negative way but simply pointed out that Melania Trump went out of her way to make other women around her look good and I am sure that she would have done the same for Karen Pence. The fact that she continued to wear clothes that did not flatter and were often the wrong look for whatever the occasion happened to be tends to make me think that she refused all offers of advice…

If he impeaches Trump, he basically tanks the entire GOP for years to come. Other than worrying about Trump’s safety that would receive from life long Secret Service protection, I actually hope the GOP does it. I personally think he is daring Pelosi to do it, because he knows it would piss off millions. He will either put it down to try and unite the right or he will run out the clock [the vote wouldn’t happen until 1 hour after the Biden inaugeration, and Legal scholars have said you cannot convict a President who is no longer in office]. If Mitch “runs out the clock” there will probably be a legal battle over whether they can do this to Trump which distracts from the transition. I actually don’t think Mitch wants to do that, so think he gets the GOP to vote it down in an attempt to unite the right. They will probably move forward with the centure vote so they can save face and “rebuke” Trump again. If I am Mitch, I think that is the only way out if his posiiton.

Pence will never win a GOP primary for President. I would have said this even before what happened last week. Pence is boring and comes across as a typical politician – every word out of his mouth sounds like a rehearsed line. Now, he’s just tainted goods in presidential politics. He might get support from establishment sorts, but he will not carry the GOP base.
I do not foresee any Trump family member going back into politics and subjecting themselves to the intensity of politics, well at least for a while. I understand they are a very strong family, but they have been through hell these past 5 years and deserve some peace as well as the gratitude of the American people for the crap they have been put through in order to serve this country.
Personally, I don’t think Donald Trump will run again in 2024. He accomplished ALOT in four years. He has a great policy legacy. The only way I see him running again is if someone who is a strong proponent of America first principals choses not to run. I can see him endorsing Ron DeSantis or Kristi Noem. I think Gov. Abbot of Texas will also run. I don’t see Donald Trump endorsing Nicki Haley, who we all know is ambitious and is going to run in 2024. She is the establishment darling going into 2024.

The working class Hispanics identified with his message of putting American workers’ needs first and securing the border. Democrats split people along racial lines. Read what it states about void dire, jury selection, and laying out a trial strategy. Calls it a nearly exact science or something close. That aspect of the argument, and its related argument based on that assumption, among other things, is not close to reality. Four decades litigating in federal courts doesn’t make me clever or smart, but it does allow allow me to see obvious error in arguments about civil procedure, civil jury trials, and such. Maybe not on nothing else, but on that topic I’m decent.

I have officially as of today sent in the paper work to no longer be a member of the republican party after almost 60 years. I am still debating whether to stay as unaffiliated or to just not be registered at all as I do not believe my vote will ever be counted right again. I am waiting for President Trump before I decide what to do. I hope he starts a third party.

Even if Pence invokes the 25th Amendment, there are not even enough Trump Cabinet members to vote “Yes” with Pence because of Cabinet resignations this week.
Unfortunately for Pence, he lost out possible Cabinet supporters when Mitch McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao (Secretary of Transportation), and Betsy DeVos (Secretary of Education) resigned, which is why Pence became unsure if he could really remove President Trump or not.
I am sure Pence would love the opportunity to be President for like one week through the 25th Amendment because nobody would ever vote for him to be President and deep down, he realizes this fact and is jealous of President Trump.
Even these resignations were staged by Mitch.

I am still baffled by Pence’s actions on January 6th. Why didn’t Trump and Pence get together before January 6th to discuss if Pence was going to reject the certified election results. They worked together for four years and Pence didn’t have the decency to give Trump a heads up, especially since he knew there was a planned rally? Didn’t he know that standing there with crowds of supporters who had their votes stolen would be a bad idea to break the news that he was going to be a total ass and be a traitor?
If anybody is guilty of inciting a riot, I would say that Judas (Pence) is. Are Pence and his wife both total morons? She must have known what her husband was going to do. It doesn’t take somebody with more than a grade school education to suggest that her husband inform the POTUS of something of that magnitude. If Pence had given Trump the news earlier, the rally could have been canceled. Because of the outrageous behavior by Pence, I can’t help but to feel that he, along with the demon rats, set Trump and his supporters up for this; hence ANTIFA was bused in and escorted inside the capitol by dirty cops. Pence’s current rejection of that nutcase Pelosi’s next dirty scheme in no way redeems Pence’s past reprehensible behavior. He will always be known as Judas or a complete moron.
Trump’s tweet that he and Pence were in “total agreement” prior to the 6th tells me everything I need to know. Pence lied to Trump and then stabbed him in the back at the last minute. I wouldn’t be even a little surprised to learn that Pence had foreknowledge of the ploy to have the police let Antifa into the Capitol building.

I would REALLY like to know who it was that encouraged the President to invite his supporters to come to DC on the 6th for a “wild time”? Had he been told that Pence was going to refuse to seat the electors and throw the votes back to the state Legislatures, ensuring that he would stay in office for another four years? Was it ALL a plan from the very beginning to get a large group of MAGA types into the Capitol do that the “Reichstag Fire of 2021” could be lit and get the attention OFF of the obviously fraudulent election? And was Pence part of that deception from the beginning – promising President Trump that he would back him all the way and only announcing his decision NOT to do so as the rally started? We may never know for sure but that is my guess until I hear otherwise from the President himself!

Exactly. Senator in my state finally replied to my email that I sent before Jan. 6 to request he support not counting electoral votes and my response to him today (in idaho) was, “I am no longer supporting republicans on the national level and I have registered as unafiliated.”
