Tonight one of the most watched senate races in history comes to a conclusion. Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler, who was appointed to her seat in 2019 and is seeking to finish a term that ends in 2022, is up against the Rev. Raphael Warnock, who leads Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta.
Meanwhile Senator David Perdue, a Republican whose term ended on Sunday, is facing a challenge from Jon Ossoff, a hand-picked avatar for the extreme-left with a profession as a documentary film executive.
President Trump has campaigned for Senator Loeffler and Perdue, while Joe Biden has campaigned for Warnock and Ossoff. Polls close at 7:00pm ET. However, as with the prior election the ‘mail-in ballots’, and the subsequent fraud, are an unknown variable.

Loeffler was appointed by Gov. Kemp to fill Senator John Isakson’s seat when Isakson had to retire for health reasons. By Georgia law, Loeffler can only hold the seat until the next regularly scheduled statewide election. Whoever wins will finish Isakson’s original term.

There is certainly enough support since President Trump won in 2016 and increased his vote count in 2020.
The problems will be the same that the Libertarian, Green, and Constitution Parties face – namely media blackout and getting the party on the ballot in 50 states, as well as getting a place on the debate stage. The Democrats actually filed suit (and won) to keep the Green Party off ballots in battleground states for 2020. In a couple states (Wisconsin was one, I think), the Green Party was forced off the ballot because of some arcane technicality.
President Trump is definitely a force of nature as far as the media goes and his supporters know what news outlets will give his new party air time. But his team has to have its act together to get – and keep – the candidates’ names on the ballot.

My wife and I voted at 8:15 am and there was only one other voter there the entire time. We were there longer than normal as I forgot to bring my absentee ballot, which I did not request, so I have to fill out a short form and a phone call made to cancel said ballot. Then my wife was informed one was mailed to her also but she never received it. She was processed the same way. We did see 4 people heading from the parking lot as we left.
I used to get there in a presidential election 30 minutes before the polls opened and there was 75-100 people in line ahead of me.

This election is over. Both Democrats are going win. They are up 10% points (about 189,000 votes) with 40% counted. I do not see the Republicans catching up. 1.6 million votes are counted.
I read today that there were all sorts of issues with the machines in the Republican strongholds. And there were issues in Fulton County with people scanning ballots without Republican poll watchers.
Like I predicted, it got close, then a dump of communist votes put the communists way ahead again. Watch for this process to keep repeating itself.
