On this day in history, August 26, 1765, a Boston mob destroys the home of Thomas Hutchinson, the Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts, for his support of the Stamp Act.
If there are no walls where these tyrants and sycophants and complicit revolutionaries live then…
England fought a World War across several continents spilling blood and treasure to defeat France and her allies which included several very powerful Native American tribes in Northern New York, Vermont and New Hampshire. The cost was astronomical and the colonies were paying about 1/10th the tax that England assessed back home. Do you know how many Redcoats died just in the assault on Fort Ticonderoga? On Fort Duquesne? At Bloody Marsh? On the Plains of Abraham? I don’t think the Lt Governor of Massachusetts was really a tyrant for supporting the Stamp Act. ?

The underlying issue was TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.

The American Colonies were not overtaxed so what you were taught in elementary school was a lie! In fact, we were barely taxed at all. The Americans were British citizens and thousands of Redcoats died protecting Americans from French and Indian atrocities over a ten year period that extended beyond the end of the French and Indian War when Chief Pontiac decided to continue the fight another three years. It was the Redcoats that fought and died for the Americans while most wealthy Americans stayed home. At the beginning of the American Revolution the British Army numbered only 30,000 men worldwide. That’s hardly the army of a tyrant!
It wasn’t the amount that was the problem. We had no representatives but the money was taken from the Americans anyway. That’s like what the mafia does. It’s UnAmerican.
If you think about it, what happened on Nov 3, was the same thing.
Not all American voters got a representative vote that day!!
CJ… They did not protect Americans… as America did not exist. It was not until after Yorktown that America even started to become a reality. During the Revolution, there just as many Loyalists and Revolutionaries. So this idea that somehow Great Britain was philanthropic for fighting for our safety is laughable. Tell that to Concord and Lexington… or Savannah or Charleston, or Boston. Perhaps CA history lessons have turned they are anti American and Pro British all of a sudden.
Then how were they fighting a worldwide war against France? You do realize Colonists were in the British Army and dying as well don’t you? If Colonists were considered British Citizens why could they only trade for imports with Britain? Why were they forced to return from the western frontier? It wasn’t just the Stamp Act, it was the Quartering Act, the Townsend Act. These taxes were passed by Parliament, not by Colonial governments, hence no representation.

Do they not teach US history in California? The Stamp Act was enacted by Parliament and levied taxes on the colonists. It enraged them leading to the “taxation without representation” cry. As the colonists began to resist, they were then imposed with the Intolerance Acts leading to an embargo on Boston Harbor and quartering of British troops in Boston.
Those Redcoats died for the Crown, not anyone else.
It would not be the first time what we were taught ended up later to be glorified nonsense. Here is an alternate step process to consider and it is all based on generations of Tyranny:
Was it taxes? Was it no representation? Was it finally sticking it to the UK Government for totalitarian abuses across many generations? It certainly depends who you talk to!

I don’t think too many American Patriots died on the Plains of Abraham, but lots of French colonists loyal to Mother France did, and defeated the redcoats.

James Wolfe and Montcalm both died at Quebec but the British won on the Plains of Abraham by climbing the cliffs along the St. Lawrence River and forming up at the city gates. The French attacked but the British held fire until the last second and won the battle.

Take the oldest hero of the American Revolution Samuel Whittemore. SW was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts, in 1696. He fought for decades along side the ‘British’… because he thought himself one. Lexington and Concord changed that. At around age 80 he took up arms against the British in Menotomy (Arlington, MA) and was left for dead.

I don’t comply! My wife and I went to vote yesterday in our runoff election. When we entered the polling place, we were asked if we wanted a mask. We replied that we didn’t wear masks. They were polite and we proceeded to vote. We never wear masks when shopping. None of the store personnel ever confront us.
We have gone on with our lives as normal as possible and will never give up to fear. If we get sick, we will deal with it. If I die, I’m comfortable with the fact I have lived a great life as a Free American.

I THINK whats happened; initially, businesses were concerned about being sued, by someone claiming they had contracted Covid because the business wasn’t enforcing the mandates, as well as being “shut down” by county health officials.
As time went on, they realised having a brawl in their store, over masks, and losing customers, over mandating masks, just “wasn’t worth it”, and so they compromise, out of enlightened self interest.
At least where I live, most have the sign, clearly saying “masks required”, and they may even have an employee standing at the entrance, ostensibly to insure compliance.
However, if you simply walk on by, maskless and enter, and walk thru the store. NO employee is going to say anything.
They don’t want a headline ” brawl breaks out at Smiths (or Safeway, whatever) over masks.”
It isn’t true that “Any publicity is good publicity” in this case.
Companies, like individuals, tend to think in “enlightened self interest”, and act accordingly, UNLESS subsumed with conmunist indoctrination.
And, even then they THINK they are acting in “enlightened self interest”; after all, stripped of ideological claptrap, that IS the CON in CONmunism; the collectivist ruse.

Wow, that would be a huge step. I’d question whether the Swamp and Deep State would follow those orders though. They have purposefully built the bureaucracy to resist such action. Still, with the proper preparation, Trump would be justified in calling out and acting upon foreign influence in this election. Even if he fails, it sets the stage for the cleanup of a corrupt system. Nixon gave in in 1960 and let Clan Kennedy steal Texas, Illinois and West Virginia, even though it was pretty obvious that LBJ stole Texas, Joe Kennedy and the mob stole West Virginia and Jack Kennedy cut a deal with Daley to steal Illinois. Trump may see that and realize that the right thing is to confront this lawbreaking now.

Maybe I have too much expectation that SCOTUS will do the right thing, but I guess that is because I see this election malfeasance case as our only hope to resolve the fraudulent election without causing another civil war. Why so many people do not see that we are being played is a mystery to me. What the eGOP is doing is like leaving the general and his troops stranded on the beach to die, while what are supposed to be supporting forces sip tea and talk about their holiday plans.
We will find out sometime in the next few days whether or not there is any need to “keep the Senate” in order to protect the Supreme Court. If the Court does not throw this fraudulent election out on its ear, it matters not how we vote or donate for GA in January. The Supreme Court is not going to decide some case about fair elections. They are going to decide whether we still live in a Constitutional Republic bound by common laws that we all agree to follow. If, as other lower-court judges have ruled, they are more afraid of throwing out illegal votes and “disenfranchising” illegal voters than they are about “diluting” legal votes cast by legal voters, it is game over.
Late stage empires can lumber on for a long time, long after they have lost their raison d’etre and legitimacy. We might, as a country, lumber on just a bit longer. But, no sane “Republican” votes in an election ever again believing their vote was legally counted or that they can win a protest against illegal voting. Anybody with half a brain already knows there have been record numbers of absentee ballots requested in GA. The game is rigged. Every judge since 11/4 has said we have no right to even state our case in a court of law…let alone bring evidence and prove it. Not one establishment Republican has come forward to say “That’s bullshit! We have a right to a legal election!” They’ve all collapsed – as ordered – around Joe Biden.
Whether or not grass roots Republicans show up in January will be a direct reflection of what the Supreme Court does over the next hours and days. Because there is no need to vote Republican to save us from court-packing when Democrats had all the votes they needed the only time it really mattered.

There’s a reason the media is suddenly reporting on Hunter Biden’s corruption

With that principle in mind, it’s possible to understand why Democrat media outlets are suddenly reporting about Hunter Biden’s corruption, a story that spills over onto his father. The first is to get ahead of potential breaking news about Hunter’s imminent arrest. The second theory is the one Monica Showalter advanced: The leftists used Biden to attain the White House (or so they believe) and are now ready to get rid of him. Having a criminal son may be just what the Obama/Harris camp needs to make that happen. And if there’s any doubt about this theory, an article in The New York Times seems to lay it to rest.
Suddenly, though, the media is releasing information about the criminal investigations into not both Hunter Biden and Joe’s brother, James Biden. As the above tweet notes, these investigations have been ongoing for years. We also know that a sizable number of voters would have passed over Biden for Trump had they known about Biden family corruption. So, what gives? Why are Hunter and, by extension, Joe himself, suddenly fair game?

With Americans at large finally learning that Hunter Biden and James Biden are crooked and that Joe is the big, corrupt tree from which these rotten apples fell, there’s going to be lots of pressure on Joe to retire as quickly as is politely possible. “Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.”
So these states that join in supporting the cheating swing states are renouncing the cheating states’ and their own obligation to provide a Republican Form of Government; they appear to favor machine-politics tyranny in which the party in power controls the results of the elections through the corruption of officials to suit themselves. They also renounce the constitutional provision that elections shall conform to rules established by each state’s legislatures, which is the main thrust of Texas’s Bill of Complaint.

And our gutless Senate just passed(84-13) the 2021 Defense Appropriations Bill with lots of poison pills including leaving 230 immunity protection for big tech platforms. They then kicked the can again and voted for a CR to extend previous CR for another week(Dec.18th).
President Trump has said he will veto the Defense Bill if it did not address the 230 protection, it did not, now the ball is in PT’s court. I hope he vetoes even though Congress will most likely over ride his veto. Make them work for it!

FTA “A St. Louis judge, citing “improper fundraising emails” has removed Soros-backed Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner from a gun case involving two residents who protected their property from Black Lives Matter protesters last summer.
We can say with a reasonable degree of certainty that Ms. Gardner is not the brightest bulb in the room. Gardner sent out two fundraising emails mentioning the criticisms of her office made by President Donald Trump and Governor Mike Parson, saying they were “fighting for the two who pointed guns at citizens during the Black Lives Matter protests.”
How dumb was that? Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II said she “raised the appearance” that she “initiated a criminal prosecution for political purposes” and promptly disqualified her.
Gardner and her Soros-backed soulmate Kimberly Foxx have lots in common, but especially an eagerness to use the law to go after political opponents. At least one judge is standing up to her, but there are many judges who support her reform agenda who might have given her a pass.
Perhaps it’s time for the right to start fundraising for prosecutors who reflect our values.”
That’s some good news.
It’s sad that the judge said “raises the appearance” instead of immediately dismissing the case and stating, with absolute certainty, that the defendants had been targeted for political reasons and the prosecutor’s emails prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Kinda how I feel about Cruz wanting to present case to supreme court. He knows it’s a winner and wants credit for the success.

Back before I jumped on the Trump Train, I voted for Ted Cruz in the Colorado Caucus. But by March 1st, 2016, I was having serious doubts about Ted because he had adopted the same tactics as the eGOP in trying to stop Trump when what he should have done is gotten fully on board with what Trump was saying. Trump beat “the best GOP field in a generation” by simply pointing out that they were all frauds…and everybody knew he was right.
So, I don’t mind Ted, and he’s been a good ally along the way. But I find his speaking style to be a bit overwrought and grating – must be a lawyer thing – and prefer the more straightforward “just the facts” approach of Sydney Powell much better. Hopefully, she gets her day in court.
