If the SCOTUS declares the swing state elections tainted beyond salvation and turns them back to the states involved, Trump will probably win. There will be blood. If the SCOTUS doesn’t do that, and punts on this issue, Trump will invoke the executive order and, refusing to turn over the Presidency, go after the coup conspirators with everything he can get to obey his orders. There will be more blood than via the SCOTUS route, but Trump will probably win.
If President Trump tries to invoke the executive order, fails, and is then removed from office and Biden installed, that is when all Hell will break loose. There will be no quelling the violence. Most of the country now believes that Biden did not win and that there was massive fraud in the election. More of them every day are realizing that, with Biden as President, the U.S. will have been conquered by China without ever firing a shot. Well, all states must send Electors to the federal congress to conduct the final vote for President. Those State Electors are appointed by a system of laws outlined by State Legislatures. All states are impacted by the federal vote for the President, which is why TX has standing.

We are now alleging that the State Laws were not followed by the respective State Executive branches in conducting the elections, which result in assigning the State Electors. State Laws were bent (broken?) to get a specific voting outcome, which affects the Electoral assignment, which results in a specific outcome at the federal level.

So, it is evidence time, put it all out there. That is the only way for State Legislatures to recall the delegated certification from the State Executive branches, and still follow the Constitution.

Clever trolling that doesn’t pass a simple logic test trying to shift the point of the lawsuit.

The lawsuit says that all states should be held to the same constitutional standards of conducting the election according to the legislature of each respective state. A state has a mandatory responsibility to uphold the Constitution.

This is not one state attacking another or influencing their voters. All states must follow the laws. At least four states did not follow their legislature mandated rules for conducting elections.

Unlawful is unlawful. Your attemp to paint it differently and argue a different point than the primary complaint of the suit shows your true colors.

That argument is a red herring. The several states jointly signed on to the Constitution. There are some limited areas where the Constitution sets standard which will be followed by all states. One of those is for the federal election of President. And the standard is “in a manner in which the legislature thereof may determine.”
So, it’s not “telling other states how to run their elections.” Their legislatures did not determine these changes – so that’s a very broad requirement. Noting these states failed to live up to their agreement, that the body closest to the people would determine the conduct of the elections for that office, is not telling them how to run their elections.
On the standing/injury argument – the counter (and I’ve since seen SWC or some other attorney say the same thing I used as an example) is – could blue states comprising 280 electoral votes band together, and in each state make a legislative change saying “In the federal election for President of the United States, only the name of the Democratic nominee shall appear on the ballot.”?
They would argue – “How are Texas, Missouri…etc. disenfranchised? They got to vote in their states.”
If the Supreme Court does not take this case, and does not rule the elections in these 4 states violated the Constitution, they are opening the door much wider to secession. There was a broad baseline of rules agreed to hundreds of years ago about how “Our” President would be selected. And these states (and others) – individual actors in these states – decided to change the rules WHILE the election was going on in some cases. And in contravention of the Constitution.

I am nit smarter than you, but a fraud-fest cannot be allowed to deprive other voters in other states to a free and fair election.

Fake vote factories in a state that has loosened and changed all voting guidelines by executive fiat and ignored enforcement of existing voting laws – can eliminate the impact and rights of millions of voters in other states.

There have been lawsuits asserted by citizens of a state such as the Mike Kelly case in PA. The PA Commonwealth Court granted some immediate relief which the corrupt PA Supreme court promptly overturned. The Mike Kelly was appealed to SCOTUS which has denied the request for immediate injunctive relief but is otherwise pending. The Texas case is no longer just one state seeking relief. MO, and 5 additional states have filed application to ‘intervene’ meaning they want to be involvd in the dispute and not simply offer a friends brief. Texas is not seeking to tell MI or PA how to run elections. Rather ,Texas requests that the states or officials within those states be required to follow the rules (Constitution). The votes and interests of people in Texas are diluted by actions taken by in PA,MI, WI, and GA. This is a recognized right. One huge difference between the Texas SCOTUS lawsuit and the others is that the US Supreme Court has ‘original jurisdiction’ as opposed to ‘appellate’ or review jurisdiction.(The is some question about whether SCOTUS original jurisdiction is mandatory or discretionary. Does SCOTUS have a choice as to whether it must decide the dispute ?) While I have practiced law for almost 40 years, my experience with ‘Constitutional Law’ is minimal. In any event, I am certain that I have a better grasp than Joe Biden and B. Obama who were both law professors. It occurs to me that SCOTUS will decide the Texas case on the merits and that at least 5 of 9 justices believe that PA and the other defendant States violated the U.S. Constitution. To believe otherwise requires one to ignore fact.

There are decent arguments on both sides. The question is whether anybody on our side will be permitted to air them in a court of law. Thus far, we have been “no standing”, “too early”, “too late” and outright banned in some forums from even DISCUSSING it.

The basic principle here is whether we are a Constitutional Republic or not. If we are, then all the member states in the Republic agree to follow a basic set of rules so that we can all trust that the other members of the Republic are acting responsibly. Once some states start tossing the rules to the wind, all bets are off. Those legislatures that didn’t do anything while their Supreme Courts and SOS changed the law? That is not “silence is consent”. That is “silence is complicity”. They don’t get to ignore their own laws, allow other to break them, and then fall back on the old “well, if we wanted the SOS and Supreme Court to obey the law, we would have said something.” The argument the Left is making – that the Legislatures could have done something – is the moral equivalent of saying that the high school shooter in Parkland, Florida is innocent and what he did is perfectly legal because the Law Enforcement Officer was too afraid to go inside the school and stop him and the School District opted not to enforce its own disciplinary policies.

But yes, IMO it sort of sidesteps the lowers. The difference as I see it is that many of the lower cases are still trying to address fraud, which has a criminal element, generally names a perp (rather than a generic shadowy entity), and a high bar of evidence, which is why so many judges are tossing them. Important to note that the SC case is not about fraud.

I find it interesting that anything that goes against “The Vaccine” is junk science.   It concerns me that we are rolling out a new mRNA vaccine that has zero understanding of long term effects.
Why would we put our children at risk with an untested, unproven vaccine that could have long term effects when Covid has a 99.8% cure rate for those under 20.  What if it causes sterilization?  Cancer?

Trump has said vaccines are bad for years and that they cause autism. I think he is pushing it to boost the stock market and for a reason to end the lockdowns in the libtard states. As a current (35 years) graphic designer, my opinion is that this font is good. The size and leading just need to be adjusted, along with the right side justification. As I understand it, portions of the legislature joined, but not the legislature officially. In the sense that they didn’t vote as a legislature to join the case. So that weakens it a bit. I think it’s more of the classic “make it look like we’re doing something without really doing anything”
