As we work through bugs associated with CTH 2.0 launch, consider this a thread to provide information, report user issues, ideas and concerns. Please read the information provided below as it might answer many questions in advance.
Again, my sincere apologies for any site disruption and/or user issues you may have encountered or might be continuing to encounter as we level the ship.
The majority of major site issues have been reconciled over the past 36 hrs. CTH 2.0 is flying even and stable.
The DNS issues are resolved, and all inbound links to TheConservativeTreehouse.Com should now be landing on the correct and most recent homepage. There was an issue with dual cache conflict between our new server host and a mid-way cache service intended to assist with the overall site demand. That was causing older pages to propagate upon user entry. That problem has been resolved.
Given the short time-window we were operating with; and considering the objective of Big Tech Automattic to disrupt an ongoing conversation adverse to their interests; we succeeded in keeping the CTH community voice in the fight. Trust me, this was no small effort to achieve and is cause for much appreciation and celebration in the big picture.
The rebel alliance is alive, well and we have made new ‘rag tag’ misfit friends. Your support was/is critical in achieving that objective. We are humbled and thankful.
Now that we have an essentially fully-functioning architecture in place, we are able to start a slow and methodical process to enhance the features most important to our community.
Each feature must be installed, applied and evaluated for downstream issues. It is a painstaking process and takes a little time to ensure we don’t attach a feature that creates an imbalance or impact upon the essential functions of the site.
CTH is modeled on an eleven year-old platform theme. It is reliable, but it is also clunky, heavy and not as streamline as modern tech can provide. As described, CTH is a heavy data-tank on a highway with the ability to collapse the road. We need to modernize and get faster while retaining the depth and purposeful mission priority.
To the details:
♦ 50% of site traffic comes from desktop/laptop computer use, and 50% comes from mobile devices (phones, pads etc). This is one of the issues with our older theme still in place, and a team is working on it right now. When CTH first launched mobile platforms were in their infancy, in the modern era mobile devices are now the norm.
We need to change our theme platform to be responsive to the type of device you are using making it easier to navigate the site from phones and iPad type devices. The engineers are working on a proposal, and a test site is experimenting. The good news is our site content is not complex and the modernization should not be too difficult. In essence, CTH presents itself differently, more user friendly, depending on the type of device you are using.
♦ One of our priorities right now is establishing an email notification system where you can subscribe to automatic notifications of new posts etc. As with almost all systems of this type (there are many) it involves the use of a third party email transmission process. Y’all are aware that privacy is a CTH priority, so we are being very careful about vetting the service and setting up this notification system to protect CTH users.
CTH does not compile user information, does not engage in the manufacture of processes that assemble lists of users or any user data. We are working to ensure we do not end up creating an external list of subscribers that would be vulnerable to exploitation. Your privacy in all matters related to CTH engagement is my priority.
♦ Next, we are working on a return of the “like comments” feature in some manner or form. The issue with a like feature is a direct all-time link between the user engagement and the host server. In essence, to have a “like feature” there is a continual feed every millisecond attached to the server. That is ok, but as with all things in tech world can create a draw -own of site performance given the scale of our assembly.
Don’t worry about “likes” being off-the-table, they are not. This function is actually important to me, and we will restore them because that engagement is actually a precursor to something else, something unique, that I want to see on the site. A sidebar on the page drawing attention to the top ten highest-rated comments in a real time feed. You click on the user name, or perhaps the avatar, and it takes you to the comment.
♦ Another new feature I want to execute is a “most liked articles” widget. Similar to most liked comments, this would be a real-time propagated graphic showing the articles that users are most following or reading on other sites. Instead of me aggregating the information and/or directing attention to interesting external articles, this awesome community of smart commentators can do that themselves.
In essence, you share links to important external articles or content in the comments, and the top five articles (as clicked/read by commentators) automatically shows up in this sidebar feature: “Hot Topics and Articles.” [This is a little challenging, but the technology exists to accomplish it.]
♦ The team is also working on restoring a system that will allow embed pictures, tweets and videos to populate in the comments section. This is a process/system called “OEmbed Comments”. We needed to reconcile the scale of server use/demand by the commenting system before we could contemplate this feature.
Now that we have a dual library system in place for the 7.5 million comments, we can start the process of evaluating server capacity for OEmbed functions. It is not a matter of “if” this will happen, it is simply a matter of when those functions return.
When you write a comment it creates a metadata file. Each comment is a unique url. Your unique id is part of that metadata, your gravatar or avatar is part of that metadata, the content of your comment (what you write) is part of that metadata and any article links, citations, pictures, gifs, or tweets -each carrying a unique url- is part of that metadata.
The average number of lines of unique metadata in one comment is six to ten lines of code, regardless of the length of your comment. Your comment creates a mini data-file with its own unique id (the url). The library of pre-existing comments was 7.2 million. Multiply that by the lines of metadata and you get well over 40 million lines of code in the pre-existing comment file alone. (more)
Again, it is important to remember much of this server capacity exploration is in uncharted territory on a non-social-media platform. Fortunately, we have the ability to scale-up; our server hosts are just trying to figure out the actual scale we need.
Thanks again for bearing with us as we work through some technical issues, search for optimal solutions, and fiercely retain the original values and mission priority of the Treehouse. The Truth Has No Agenda
Myself and the incredibly hardworking site admins consider ourselves stewards to this community. YOU are what matters. Your ability to analyze, discuss and provide your comments on the subject matter is what makes CTH home. We will NEVER remove a commenting function from our website.
In fact, it is the crowd-sourcing work we have done as a community that has been the most thrilling and brilliant part of our work together. I will never lose that focus. The key to Treehouse 2.0 is recognizing we have built something within a system that wants to see us removed. By being proactive we have avoided some serious challenges and that makes us better stewards for our conversation.
Remember, YOU are the important part.
Without you CTH doesn’t really have a purpose. Individually we could stand outside shouting at trees with no impact; but together, sitting on the figurative cyber-porch, the conversation is rich with unique skill-sets, subject matter experts and life-long experiences that make discussion so much more valuable. Myself and the CTH admin team cherish the value you represent.
♦ Taking all of the above into consideration, if you are still experiencing issues with the site in general or specific terms, feel free to drop your feedback in the comments and we will review to see of we can intercept and/or correct any issues.
Love to all,
~ Sundance
Try to avoid a fight. Never be the first one to start a fight. However, when it does come down to the fighting, you need to fight like the third monkey on the ramp to Noah’s ark…
…and brother, it’s raining !
The first days were very quirky – and that was expected.
I noticed as soon as I checked “save my name, email ” etc. most loading issues resolved. It is as if the server recognizes my computer and iphone.
Thank you for allowing this site to exist. It is a blessing.
Now here’s a funny for everyone! I can navigate the entire site quite easily on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A in Firefox with no problems. This Treehouse IS handheld friendly for OLD handhelds…. ROFL!!!
I miss the Twitter sidebar that you could click to see all the latest tweets from sundance
yeah. that too. ?
Thank you for making such a smooth transition and I am much much much happier with the format and so grateful for all of your efforts.
Rosemary…we can not mark like comments…..are you happy with that ????
I was getting a little worried for a couple of days but things appear to be coming back to “normal”. I don’t know if this is important or not but when I first open the Treehouse at the home page, up at the upper left-hand corner where the URL address bar is located (containing the CTH URL) it says “Not secure”.
As is my usual habit, I open each new posting in a new window for viewing and reading. When I do this the URL address bar (now containing the whole path for CTH and the post) now shows the “lock” symbol, which I assume means it is secure.
Like I said at the top, I don’t know if this is important or not but it is just an observation. Otherwise, everything is looking good and it is great to have CTH back online (talk about going through withdrawals)!
Like the others, having problems viewing older comments.
Using a Microsoft Surface laptop, Windows 10 operating system and Chrome browser (I know, I know… sorry).
Great job Sundance and team! So glad everyone is back!!!
I second that! ??
Sundance, as mentioned above by you the email notification of new comments is missed as your new postings are easier to access via the email notification. Having the like option would also be nice on each comment. Like others , I also have to post something if I want to see all postings.
Appreciate your good work….thank you so much
I agree. We need to be able to like others posts.

Below comments are only meant as troubleshoot feed back – NO COMPLAINING MEANT –
I still have troubles with the comments showing up.
Sometimes it will show a single comment, but the number will say there are hundreds. I sometimes can hit CNTRL + F5 and see additional comments, sometimes it remains as the single comment.
The latest post link on the right of the homepage seems to get stuck or is different depending on which article you open.
From a user stand point, it just seems like there is a lag when you post a comment and that the links related to commenting are not auto-updating or are doing so at a significant delay.
Using iPad Pro and so far it’s been seamless, everything is working fine, as it should.
Feels like…home.
YEAH
I am happy?
Oh, one tiny thing…
I am not receiving CTH updates via email subscription.
Is that a temporary problem?
Is there a location on the tree where we sign up for that luxury?
I am just keeping your blog tab open for now and remembering to refresh and hit the home pages. Thank you to all of you, and Happy Christmas preparations to everyone.
We haven’t added the email subscription feature yet…..all in time.
Superb and thank you for the assurance on that.
I just thought ….. I need to wear my glasses more often. ? and couldn’t find it
It is mentioned in this post (read above):
One of our priorities right now is establishing an email notification system where you can subscribe to automatic notifications of new posts etc. As with almost all systems of this type (there are many) it involves the use of a third party email transmission process. Y’all are aware that privacy is a CTH priority so we are being very careful about vetting the service and setting up this notification system to protect CTH users.
Thank you Ad rem for helping keep this site going!
How is your Admin’n experience changed due to all this change?
Hope it makes it easier in the end when all the dust settles.
Thank you! Many of us have gone through the same experience as you have….to some degree.
Would love to see the like button return and maybe a system that can organize comments by date, likes, time, etc.
Also miss referring back to old comments without having to scroll through pages and pages of comments and getting notifications when someone responds to my comment.
Freakin WordPress ! Bunch of commies!
Other than that, I am glad that you broke free and have your own website domain, etc. Good on you and for our cause! Keep up the great work Sundance!
Since the move to the new platform, the CTH pages still will not display each page optimized for my iPhone. In other words, the pages are being displayed optimized for a web browser on a PC or laptop.
I’ve cleared my cache and everything, but this problem continues. Any help would be appreciated.
Sundance said in this article that they are working on getting the mobile version up and running. Coming soon.??
If I understand correctly, what Sundance said is it is coming. The site software has to use software that recognizes what type of device is connected and then format the screen accordingly. If they are still using WordPress, this is something usually done in the theme.
WordPiss’s timing was friggin impeccable! I’m surprised there wasn’t a widespread purging across the web.
Great work CTH team!
This episode makes you realize how easy an internet kill switch could be or even how certain sites could be re-mapped to cloned looking ones at some point.
makes the sound of a Peer-to-peer (P2P) computing or networking seem like something we should all get familiar with or look into as a backup for censorship like we just experienced…. I’m not real familiar with them but it seems like it would be harder to take down a site if a site can even be done on that type of system.
However I assume even your ISP could potentially block you even from those. (think Napster, I think it was a P2P setup)
It’s a tough job. Every plug-in has the potential to slow response, plus you can’t be sure how long the plug-in will be supported. You update to a new version of the software and some of your plug-ins no longer work, or they update a plug-in and it knocks your entire site down.
I’m starting to think it might be easier to create the site than maintain it. I am only using a few plug-ins on my site, and I see multiple recommended updates per day. One plug-in caused an error that prevented Google from indexing the site. That means search might not find your site.
Just wanted to let people know who haven’t created a web site before, this is no small feat Sundance and his team pulled off. Normally, a team would want a month or 2 to plan out the migration and run tests. Accomplishing it in the short time they had with as few problems as they had is remarkable.
With God on our side …
You get it! ? ? ?
It sure seems to me that we ‘deplorables’/ Trump supporters are in a similar position as the population in India right after the second World War. How could they change British rule? One man named Gandhi rose up and through Non-violence, (is the personal practice of being harmless to self and others under every condition.), showed an entire unarmed Nation the way. Right now even though Americans are armed to the teeth we are not looking to be violent. I suggest we just ignore the dictates as best we can, Non-Violently. Unlike India in the 1940’s we always can protect ourselves and our families thanks to our forefathers Second Amendment.
I agree with you though that we would all prefer non-violent solutions that preserve our God given Freedoms.
However, I’m afraid some Patriots may have to endure another event like in Boston on March 5, 1770 to wake the nation up.
However the British role would look to be replaced by Antifa/Communist in the modern day.
The internet is quirky, this roll was smoother than most. I have not had any adverse effects. I personally do a sweep of ACE, BB, GP, LI and then here to get sanity back. With BB flirting with the darkside (they always were) it is fun to come here to get reality.
Cancel culture is coming and if Trump fails it will swallow everything quickly. I hope this treehouse truly remains the last refuge.
My unrealistic dream is that Durham has been made special prosecutor because they are about to indict everyone for treason… China bought and Used Dominion Voting Systems to give the win to the Biden and Dems and McConnell and Graham. Money changed hands so the right people would get the win.
You can’t indict a president… but you can indict a president elect all day long.
Dream over… Barr and Durham will slink away into the night…
The Conservative Treehouse for the win.
I just want to add my thanks for everybody’s efforts !
I am very happy with what you have accomplished !
Just for informational purposes:
I am a dinosaur – desktop – do not own any “devices”
Not a nerd but I did start programming back in 1969 – wrote and punched my own cards
My own personal opinion – DO NOT & never have used twitter – parler would seem to be a better option – I will not use it, but I TOTALLY DESPISE twit !
My sentiments exactly, Lew, on each and every comment/opinion you expressed.
So…a great big LIKE for you.
There made a comment and does not show up and is only showing 3 comments now.
Just give it a minute or two and / or reload the page
Okay ,I see that now,Thanks Lew
The move has been a heroic work, all involved should be praised for their heroic effort.
Sundance, you & the team have pretty much nailed it in regards to the most requested features and priorities for them. For people who just skimmed the main post, here are the priorities outlined, which exactly mirror what I’ve seen in the comments over the last bunch of days:
Email notifications
Mobile site
Embeds (photos, videos, tweets, etc.)
Likes
Avatars (improved solution)
Virtually all problems I previously experienced have cleared up, so I’ll move on to a couple requests/ideas, some mentioned by others.
“previous comment page” links at the bottom of the last page would be fantastic, or at least a top of page link or button.
A “first comment” link would be awesome too, sometimes it’s nice to read them in order. What I’ve been doing is copying the “previous page” link, pasting it, then modifying the URL with the page number to say “comment-page-1” instead of 5 or whatever before hitting return.
I miss the “bell” a little too. It was a nice tool to see if there were any replies. If that’s gone away and not to return, perhaps a “my posts” button, that shows the last 10 posts that user made with a “next” button for the next 10 would be workable.
Thanks again, and great job!
Y’all are doing a great job! Two suggestions/requests)
I would love to be able to edit my own comments, mostly just to get rid of typos and misspellings, but also, to rephrase for clarity. Some other sites that I frequent enable edits for a short period of time, after which no further change is allowed. An open-edit window of say, five minutes, would be nice.
It would be helpful to be able to change the order of comment presentation (Best/Newest/Oldest).
I recently started using Grammarly, a free plugin, and it does real-time spell check and also makes grammar suggestions. In fact, it provided 4 corrections on this short post.
Grammarly is great! Bought it for my g-daughter when she was just about to graduate high school so she would have it for college. She would be lost without it. IMHO, it is too expensive, tho.
The basic plug-in is free.
Already reported:
Using older models iPhone (6) and iPad (4)
When using Older posts and Newer posts option from the main page it skips posts between the first page and takes me back to Dec 1 posts.
Workaround: Use the calendar widget for the specific day.
This issue is not seen on a laptop using Chrome browser.
Many thanks to Stella’s Place in helping me keep my sanity during the change over. The Tree house is my refuge from the on going insanity. I’m having no problems with the new site, but I just lurk here in the shadows.
I am a long time reader/follower however I never comment. I am commenting now to see if that will correct the problem of not being able to access prior page posts. I clear webpage data in safari multiple times a day and try to access from twitter. With everything going on now with the election fraud, the lack of information is extremely painful. Without being able to see comments I haven’t been able to learn how to fix this or if it is fixable by me. I use an Apple iPad.
I live in Atlanta so I really need information.
Haven’t even noticed the changes but haven’t been here for the past couple of weeks.
Like it, it seems “faster” than wordpress.
When I click on the “older comments” link there has typically been only 1 comment per page.
Admin: Oops on the use of my real name. Can you fix? I am so sorry for my mistake.
*FIFY…Admin…
Ad rem,
Where is Grandma. She is in your neck of the woods, wait to hear.
Checked….and the last comment we have from GC is back on 11/27. Many others have been asking on the Pres/Open. 🙁
Ditto
Sundance, you and your team are the tops! I hope you will post your Christmas wish list in time for Santa to take a crack at it.
It has been an outstanding year here and I am sure you will be tangibly recognized for going above and beyond.
Thank you so very much for captaining us through trouble waters!
THANK YOU
I have no idea how any of this works and appreciate all the heavy lifting you are doing.
Seeing you mentioned it….click ‘Older Comments’ and I often get but one older comment up. iMac Sierra.
The same thing is happening for me on android. When I hit older comments at the bottom of the first page of comments, I only get one comment on the older page and the Box field to make a comment
God. Richly. Bless. You. All.
Thank you from Arlington, Texas
I’m certain you’re getting tired of me mentioning this, but the comment pagination is still not working. I realize this can be a cache issue, but it is a serious flaw. What is displayed is totally different depending on which direction you come into it from.
This may have something to do with the fact that I do not use a WordPress identity or any other form of identification, preferring to come in “anonymously” using the Name/Email form. Others who have some kind of account don’t seem to be mentioning this issue.
Going to the comment area on the main post has an “older comments” link which sends you to a page with only two or three comments, and no link to “newer comments”. If it is at all possible during the fixing of this, might I humbly suggest a link bar across the top that goes to any particular page of comments, rather than having to ratchet back through the pile?
Other than this issue, the new site looks great! I agree with all your future ideas, and look forward to using them.
Issue:
Older comment links, as other have said, don’t appear to work. This is pretty critical IMO.
Desired Feature:
The WP account dashboard that used to exist in the top right of the old site. This could be used to quickly see if/when someone had responded to one of your comments. Would be super nice to get some sort of notification system like this implemented.
Thanks and keep fighting the good fight!!!
When I select ‘Older Comments’ it does not take me back to previous pages. I only shows a couple of comments and I can’t get to ‘Newer Comments’.
I am finding if I make a comment,in order to see it,I have to click the home button and open up the thread again.
Glad to hear you’re working on embedding tweets and YT’s- knew you would be!
I was never able to “like” a post on the old system, so if it happens I can w/ the new one, that’ll be a plus.
….it’ll be nice when people get different pics back w/ their “name”, instead of most having the sideways “G”, or whatever that is.
Gravatar (your icon pics) is owned by Automattic (WP)….so they went with the move. I’m sure we’ll find a replacement….all in good time.
Ad rem – my avatar followed me here. Far as I know, I dindu nuffin! How can this be? (Not complaining about it, believe me!)
Also, every time I post, I get the sign-in box. If I don’t exit, it seems to be staying signed in (info already filled in), but if I exit, I have to “re-apply”.
Is this normal?
The box always being there seems to me to be a waste of bandwidth.
My avatar being up in the corner was always how I knew everything was OK, just like seeing my Bit Defender icons in the tray. Any chance that can be re-instated?
WOW! Just replied to you, and it vanished. Try again…
My avatar followed me here, and I swear I dindu nuffin! How is that possible?
Also, when I comment, I see the “credentials” box below the comment box. If I haven’t exited the site, it’s already filled out. Seems like a waste of space.
Really miss seeing my avatar up top telling me everything is OK, just like seeing my Bit Defender icons in the tray. Any chance that can reappear?
Thanks for all that you ‘invisible’ elves do here, sincerely!
Looks like Weeweed fished the first comment out of SPAM.
Most people’s gravatars vanished because Gravatar is a product of Automattic (WordPress). We’re not quite sure why the few of you have ratained your avatars…unless perhaps you are still registered on another WP site?
All the other functions you mention are works-in-progress. We are working on ways to streamline the process in order to gobble up less bandwidth. So tweaks will be made here and there….nothing completely written in stone as of yet.
Thank you once again, furry friend!
Realized when you said “spam”, it may have been my using the name of my firewall??? The Gods of the Algorithmic Headings can be a vengeful lot……
Everything great on my iPad. Contribution coming. Thanks for being here.
Nothing but 1000% awe and admiration from a very small branch
Thank you bigly
Thank you, Sundance, the site is performing beautifully for me. I look forward to the added features in the future.
I want to also thank my fellow Treepers. It took deprivation of your input, feedback and discoveries for me to fully appreciate them.
Whatever it takes. Always.
Still not sure if my comments get posted. I have posted a few in the past few days but I don’t see them (unless there is a long delay in them showing up). Very happy the new site is working out for everyone.
YEA!!!!
Test – You are not alone!
I see your post Bullnuke – “Still not sure if my comments get posted. I have posted a few in the past few days but I don’t see them (unless there is a long delay in them showing up). Very happy the new site is working out for everyone.”
I also see your reply to yourself on the above post of “YEA!!!!”
I don’t have enough grand kids to help me through this stuff.
And, half of my kids turned into bleeding heart liberals so I can’t ask them.
Avatar, Gravatar, Bytes and Bits are above my pay grade.
But thanks to Ad rem and Stella, I’m still clinging to a branch or the bark at least!
And, I’ll live with whatever you people do.
Thank-you for keeping a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
AMERICA FIRST
Please make the Andrew Breitbart graphic banner clickable back to home page!!!
Right underneath the Andrew Breitbart graphic banner, the word “HOME” appears at the left hand margin. If you click on that, it takes you to the home page.
I access CTH from my iMac. I’m pleased with the change from my end. Like so many others, I am amazed that everything has gone so smoothly, at least as far as I can tell. I suppose that was the goal: so smoothly we hardly noticed. Sundance is a gift. Can’t keep Sundance down! His tenacity and selflessness are motivating. How dare I not do my part from my little perch in life! I come here first thing every day when I go online and last thing before I go offline for the day. I am off to make a donation to help with the expense. Thank you, Sundance!
Thank you to so many Treepers who make CTH a good place to get away from the crazies online. I spend way too much time reading the excellent comments. I get a kick out of how quickly trolls are graciously—or not so graciously (whichever it takes)—sent on their way. CTH really does give us a refuge. I love it! Thanks to all who take part in making it great, especially those who work in the background and might not hear as much appreciation as we often think toward them.
I wish everyone a blessed Christmas. As you celebrate His birth, anticipate His Coming!
Great job Sundance. You deserve a rest. I can’t imagine the pressure you were under to get the new site set up and all the files migrated over into the new system.
From our end, it was pretty seamless, with just a few glitches, but nothing major.
I hope as time passes we can start to post videos, pictures, etc. Like the old site.
Again, Kudos to you Sundnce, and thanks for this CTH.
I believe many of the problems are coming from the CDN caching. The first page will have many comments with a count of around a hundred comments. The second page is sometimes just one comment, but has a count of 450+ comments caption at the top. The next few pages might have a few or many comments, and indicate there’s 900+ comments.
It appears that the CDN is not getting consistently updated as new comments are input.
On the post of December 3, titled, IMPORTANT Supreme Court…
When clicking on ‘older comments’, only two comments appear. Then there is no button for ‘newer comments’.
The above occurs whether on Chromebook laptop or Android smartphone.
No button for ‘newer comments’ even though I know in fact that there are newer comments.
BTW: my comments are only visible to me after I have refreshed. Sometimes refreshing several times is necessary.
I miss is the bell that shows when someone has commented on a post or “liked” it – and also indicates you’re signed in. I can live without it, but it was nice to be able to follow a post and any conversation that ensued. Any chance of that returning in some form?
Other than that, the site is great! It took a couple of days for me to be able to get to the new site from my home computer, but work computer was going to the new site from day one, so I wasn’t overly panicked or withdrawing!
Thank you SO much for the hard work – not just with the site migration, but the hours you put in day in/day out to keep us informed. The analysis is second to none and I have to say this – I have YET to see you miss the mark on anything!!!
I’ve never been aware of ‘a bell’.
Is this somehow connected to the fact that I was also never aware that one had to ‘sign in’?
I’ve never signed in either.
You can’t miss something you never had, but this bell idea intrigues me.
The “Notification Bell” was uniquely a WordPress feature, and it lit up whenever you had an incoming message or like.
I believe our new Notification shape will be a rectangular “Comment Bubble”….and still will light up when in use.
Just don’t burst my bubble!
Awesome! Thank you adm. Can’t wait. On my i phone i can get CTH through DuckDuckGo.com Works great.
In the interim I have added a “CTH comments” folder to my bookmark bar and bookmark my comments there so that I can easily return to them later to see replies.
Me too! There is no way to know if someone replied you back. But they are working on it.
And now, having refreshed after my 3rd comment, none of my comments are visible.
Also happens to me.Go to home button click and reopen thread, see all new comments ,but can not go back to older comments.
Not a programmer myself, but was a sysadmin / IT guy and loved watching our Progress database gurus troubleshoot and create code. Too much to have to remember for my pea brain! 🙂
Sundance and Crew……
You’re the top!
You’re the Colosseum.
You’re the top!
You’re the Louvre Museum.
Cole Porter time! ? ? ?
How can I upload an avatar?
CanaCon,
I believe this URL was suggested as a place to do just that.
(Needs a WordPress account ?)
https://en.gravatar.com/
Thanks! Unfortunately, I have the same attitude on WP
