I think that, in general, the president is automatically given security access no matter his background. The American people are supposed to be responsible enough not to elect someone who shouldn’t have access.
His son has no right to access. It can and should be denied if he can’t pass background checks.
That is correct. The president’s security clearance comes from the judgement of the people that elected him. I’m not sure how good the judgement of dead people is, but that’s just me.

The Republican-controlled Michigan House of Representatives should initiate articles of impeachment against her. It would be tried by the Republican-controlled Michigan Senate. They should do it. Some very smart people are making claims of “election fraud”.
But these people have “the curse of knowledge” and can’t seem to make their claims understandable to people that are not familiar with all the terminology.
So I am trying to add a few more words, and avoid words that are not common, so that most anyone can understand what they are saying.
The people that are claiming election fraud are saying that:
1- Some vote counting software, used in this election, has a built in option to cheat.
They are claiming that some of the vote counting software has the option to “add weight” to the ballot count.
Adding weight means take away or add a percentage, to the total vote count.
There are two types of vote.
A- Straight “party line vote”, where you choose all Republican or all Democrat candidates.
B- And there is the “individual vote” option so you can vote for some Republicans candidates and vote for some Democrats candidates.
2- The people claiming election fraud used a chart that compares the straight “party line vote” to the “individual vote” for Trump.
The chart shows a line where on the left, are the more Democrat leaning precincts that voted straight party line.
And the right are more republican leaning precincts that voted straight party line.
And the line showed all the percentages in between.
And on this chart they plotted the percent individual votes that went for Trump.
The chart shows than in percents on the left side of the line where most people voted straight party for Democrats, that Trump got about 10% of the individual votes.
And this this was the pattern for precincts that were up to about 80% Democrat.
But as the precincts became more Republican the percent of individual votes for Trump declined.
The chart shows that the more Republican a precinct became, the less percent of individual vote went to Trump.
The normal plot line should be about the same percentage of individual votes for Trump, from democrats leaning precincts to republicans precincts.
The plot line should not go way down for Trump as the precincts become more Republican, because 95% of Republicans support Trump.
But the chart shows on the very right side of the line where 80% of the party line vote went for republicans, is where the highest percent of individual voters, about 25% voted “against” Trump.
In other words the chart shows that the more Republican the precincts becomes, the more votes were changed away from Trump.
The charts show about 10% of the individual voters in the most Democratic precincts voted “for Trump”, and about 25% of the most Republican precincts voted “against Trump”.
The is not a random looking pattern but a straight line decline for Trump as the precincts became more Republican.
The people claiming election fraud say that the odds of this happening are like hitting the lottery several times in a row.
They say that the only thing that can cause this “fraud line” is a computer program (algorithm) that takes more votes away, (adds weight) from Trump, in precincts “as they become more Republican”.
The people claiming election fraud, showed normal charts from different precincts, that were hand counted, and known to be accurate, to the charts where they claim algorithms changed the vote, and it is very obvious that something is very wrong.
I hope this helps explains their claims, that there is election fraud.

Now, will our fine justice system allow that as hard evidence?
The data in this claim can be easily verified and if it is, it should be accepted as part of the comprehensive evidence.
But of course for a claim to be accepted as “not false” according to the rules of critical thinking, it needs to be comprehensive, verifiable, logical and substantial.

I’ve actually been an expert witness in an industrial/biz hacking case. Its lightly related to this but take it for what its worth.
the answer is absolutely not. without the actual code to prove that it was both written maliciously and performed the specific actions alleged, a statistical analysis that shows anomalies in a giant ecosystem are very hard to explain away as only one possible reason.
It gets a little nerdy, but there are literally hundreds of variables not captured when trying to do such an analysis, many of them seemingly unrelated but that could add up. Hey, some people didn’t like Trump’s tweets. The weather that day. A major highway was closed. daylight savings time ended. the jobs report just came out. It goes on and on, but the motivation of a few thousand people who created an anomaly cannot be said to be a pattern if it is plausible chaos. All the defender has to do is plant that doubt, that it coulda been one or more of those hundreds of other factors.
In short, unless someone gets the smoking gun lines of code, algorithms, or other hard evidence, you should be prepared for the courts to literally look at this stuff as kook conspiracy theories. All of it will be thrown out, because tossing votes is a very high bar and EACH ONE must be individually invalidated.

Agree. All the libs need to do is create reasonable doubt which will always exist in any statistical analysis of large data pools. This is NOT the path to a Trump victory. It may be part of the path, but on its own, it will not stand….unfortunately.
To be fair, it could DEFINITELY stand, but not in the next few weeks, which is all we have. Unless someone with a conscience leaks the actual code to the public, this path will be very slow.
Data may not prove the case but if the data shows the probability being trillions to one, it can add a lot of weight to a claim.

I suspect they won’t. Statistical analysis is theoretical (although I believe it to prove the case), and it gives both dem judges and cowardly conservative judges an out from making a very controversial call. Hope I’m wrong.

We really need to keep our eye on the ball as I do not trust the white shoe law firms leading the voter fraud expose.

I am torn on this myself.
The massive, systemic fraud is a far higher bar to achieve, and will take months or years. Statistical analysis is highly suspicious, but when seeking to invalidate lots of votes, it is absolutely unacceptable in court because of the giant universe of other reasons for the anomalies that are ot being measured. Call me eeyore or whatever you wish, but we should expect that to be the case from local to the SC.
These “witnesses” that are now being put out there about Dominion are all saying they “saw” some things as an IT worker who was in a room at the time. None of them have the source code that could actually blow things open, that I have seen. When a court is asked to toss ballots, there is a very high bar, and their response to these affidavits will be “great, tell me WHICH BALLOTS you saw being mishandled, and I will toss those.” It will have to be specific, named ones.
The evidence of and arguments about systemic irregularities making a State’s voting tally unreliable should be addressed to that State’s Legislature. It has an independent constitutional role to play in the State’s elector appointment/certification process. It can refuse to appoint electors by Dec 14 if it finds the process so tainted it cannot reliably say who won.
The Legislature is not bound by the standards the courts apply.
I agree with your sense (at least as I read your post) that courts will say: “Prove to us beyond a preponderance of the evidence (or some heavier standard) that X votes were uncounted, miscounted, illegal, and that X is sufficient to make DJT the winner.” Meeting that standard will be a very difficult lift.

HOWEVER, if you can randomly sample some ballots, show hard evidence that some portion of those is bad, then statistical analysis can absolutely be evidence to suggest that the same ratio of the REST of the ballots may be bad. .006 of 2,984,522 roughly 18,000 votes. Do that a couple times and you win a swing state.

I looked at this article and in general I would agree with what it is saying. The legislature exercised it’s role when it passed laws giving power to the AG and Governor to select electors.
Where I disagree is that the article calls any electors that the legislative branch would send as “rogue”. I would think that the legislature would step in by passing a new law and that law is what would change to allow them to directly choose which electors they send. In that sense, they wouldn’t be rogue.
The article outlines a legal defense you would see in courts should the legislature step in to select the electors to send. In my VERY non-lawyer opinion, the defense is reasonable.

This analysis by Josh Shapiro is wrong. A previous legislature cannot bind a future legislature even if they passed a state law. Nor can a court intervene. The legislature has plenary power to appoint the electors – PERIOD! Whether or not they would have the stones to ignore the courts is another matter. It may be possible that the US Supreme Court can rule on this if a Constitutional issue is found.

Heck no, I’m not doing that. Sure, audit any contested states, but in my state (WA), there were neither any flipped nor lost votes, according to those Truman Black reports on Dominion software. Why should we bear the pointless delay and expense of audits in states where neither campaign disputes the results anyway? Not every state performed in error. Stick to places where one or the other side has objections about the numbers. A 50 state recount sounds unnecessary and disruptive.

Barr is nothing but a smoke screen. He is -allowing- federal prosecutors to investigate. I googled who federal prosecutors use to investigate, and it is the federal agencies like ATF, DEA, FBI. In this case it would be FBI, and Barr did not direct Wray to do so. And we have seen reports that FBI is refusing to investigate.
So Barr’s -allowing- federal prosecutors to investigate was empty blather to put us back to sleep. He is pure deep state, and no longer pretending very well.

I would like that to be true, but I noticed he provided no evidence of FBI doing anything. And his conclusion certainly sounded like gaslighting to me:

We need a audit of all of these swing states. Georgia better do an actual audit and not try to fake it. The same with these other battleground states , their needs to be an audit of all of these votes especially of the mail in ballots. No audit then no way to assure that the election was fair. I believe that the GOP reached an agreement that was mutually acceptable and following that had dropped its court appeal. That is in this article. I do not know what agreement they reached, but from the headlines it clearly is intended to give the message to Trump supporters that the GOP in Nevada is not with Trump. This is my question that is very basic but yet unclear to me:
How could the Dems commit election fraud so sloppily and expect to get away with it?
Vans and Ferraris full of ballots in the middle of the night? All swing states stopped counting at the same time? Voting machines with known programming flaws? Not allowing opposition party their legal right to view and confirm ballot counting?

question: Is there an actual deadline for how long the election can go on without being called?
December 15? Sometime in 2021? Some date of some kind?
The next date is sometime in December when the electors meet to cast their vote for president. Sometime before then, the states need to “certify” their election results. There is no specific deadline for a state to “certify” their result. The electors can vote without all of the states there. If no candidate gets 270 votes, it goes to congress to vote on who the president should be. Each state gets 1 vote.
Ok, but what happens if the recounts, audits are still going on in December?
Any State that has not appointed electors by the critical date (which I believe is Dec14) has zero electors when the tally gets counted. Unless someone wins 270, the presidency is decided by the House, voting by States (Republicans have a majority of the delegations).
State Legislatures that find their State’s tally unreliable as a result of systemic irregularities should refuse to appoint electors (think PA and MICH particularly).

I’m not entirely clear, but most I have seen says that both those states the state legislature does NOT certify or appoint the electors. They have given that power over to the SOS’s.
More — That is the position the other side will take if any of our Legislatures find the results tainted and unreliable and refuses to appoint (let alone overrides their SOS and appoints DJT electors).
We also have good arguments that the Legislatures retain their Federal Constitutional powers.
We’ll fight this out later if we have to, but first we need courageous Legislatures to assert their authority.
State legislatures that find their state’s tally unreliable have a Constitutional duty to set aside the votes and appoint electors as they see fit.
US Constitution, Article II, Section 1: “Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: ….”

It goes to the House (a very important distinction at this point) where each state gets 1 vote.

If it goes to the new House. the VP presides. with each state getting one vote, the Republicans control about 27 states to the Democrats 8 states the others are tied, President Trump will most likely prevail. Majority rules.
For the Vice President, which happens before the House vote so the VP can run it,it is determent by the new Senators so hopefully VP Pence will.
That is why Biden needs 270 electoral votes to win. In the case of no win for him he would most likely loose easily with 4 more years for the POTUS.
