One of the best ways to identify what’s going on in any area is a ground report from the people most familiar with it, that’s YOU. If you are voting today perhaps you would consider sharing a ground report from your town, city, neighborhood or voting precinct.
How’s the turnout? Any issues or concerns? What’s the overall climate amid your voting locales. Please feel free to share your personal perspectives in the comment section along with any links to any information you feel might be valuable or interesting.

Midcoast Maine – heart of liberalville. Our polling place seemed a little quieter than usual, but the workers said there had been a steady trickle all day. No line. I think there were 9 voting booths, and there were 3 or 4 empty when we got there. Everyone was very pleasant. All workers were masked, but no one had a problem with anyone unmasked. We did have heavy early voting turnout though, so that probably contributed to the quiet day. We’re praying for a landslide.
Small rural town in Mid-TN here. Population 1,200. I left my house, voted and made the round trip home all in 15 minutes. Lol! No lines. Poll workers were very well organized passing out plastic gloves for the electronic machines with little arrows on the floor working from behind their plastic partitions. Sigh. Traffic to vote was steady, though, so it looks like we’ll have a good turnout.
Anyway, I only had 4 things to vote for: President, House, Mayor and 2 City Council seats. Fastest vote ever! Local rivalries stay pretty friendly. Everyone knows everyone and/or are married to their cousins around here, so it’s always fine with no protestors or any other hindrance. Even I, a 4 year transplant, ran into 3 people I knew!
It’s a breath of fresh air after having lived in large metropolitan cities all my life. I’ll keep my cows for neighbors thank you very much.
Forgot to add I was Voter 545.
make sure you get all your cats to vote for Trump as well. 🙂
They did. Twice. ?
Beautiful day in South Carolina! Long lines in our country town of Chapin, Lexington County, SC., with a 30 minute wait to vote on our new voting equipment! Lots of Trump voters in our county. Senator Graham must get re-elected to the US Senate. Harrison ads have been so overwhelming! We don’t like outside money here in SC coming into our conservative state! Praying for President Trump, Senator Graham and Rep. Joe Wilson to win!
I just moved to Chapin! Love it. My MAGA pumpkin fit quite nicely in the neighborhood.
Beautiful day in South Carolina! Long lines in our country town of Chapin, Lexington County, SC., with a 30 minute wait to vote on our new voting equipment! Lots of Trump voters in our county. We (hubby & I) went to vote at 11:30 AM here in Bridgeport, WV. No line, one person voting when we walked in. We were in & out in less than 10 minutes. Nothing to report, except we voted straight Republican.
This election is in Gods hands now, it will go according to his plan! The outcome was predetermined. You never have to fear if God is truly on your side!
And He IS on our side! God bless us, everyone! THank you Jesus for leading us back!!!!!!
It is all under God’s control. God said, “I raise up Kings, I put down Kings.”
God rules supreme over human government. No doubt about it!
When we human talk about plans. Gods plan rains supreme! It is written
Just came back from voting in small town in Louisiana ravaged from Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Delta. The lines to vote were longer than I have ever seen, and people continuously coming in to vote.
You hurricane folks are tough.
God bless all of you.
Yes they are. My sister went through Rita and then one other before getting her house destroyed again by Laura and sitting out Delta in a rental house in Abbeville LA. Let me tell you my family and neighbors in Cameron LA and Lake Charles LA have been through hell with hurricanes and they are the TOUGHEST, but most COMPASSIONATE people I know. 🙂
Naples FL here: Went to vote at about 8:45. Only 2 people out the door waiting. Was in in about 2 minutes, got my ballots in another 2 minutes. Got them scanned (I was #91 at my scanner) and was back out the door less than 10 minutes after I got out of my car. This is what I expected because 77% of the vote was in before the doors opened this morning.
NW Florida here…the central time zone Florida ?.. My county had a little over 60% do early voting compared to 50% on 2016. A friend working at a polling station said so far in person is busier than the past. Keeps your fingers crossed.
Showed up at our polling place in Mesquite NV. (Clark County) at 6:45. Polls opened at 7 with about 300 waiting in line. We finished voting after my wife had problems with her touch screen voting machine at 9:30. The line was longer when we left than when we began. Probably 350-400 people.

What??!!
This is one way to swing Georgia. Voter suppression?
Not crowded but steady busy at my polling place in Jefferson County Missouri. There are a few Biden signs in my area. Greatly outnumbered by the Trump signs. I don’t anticipate crazy in my area tonight or tomorrow but you never know. Stocked up so we don’t have to leave the house. As a wedding vendor I learned to be prepared for the crazy. That way it doesn’t matter, the show will go on.
Voted this AM about half an hour after my polling place opened here in southeastern Wyoming. In a state that trends Republican by about 2:1, our county is typically one of two Democrat strongholds due to the university. I knew my polling place had changed since ’18, so I went to the Secretary of State’s website to look up my polling place based on my address. Strangely, the website was down at 7am on election day. Too much traffic? Maybe, but we’ve got fewer than half a million people in the whole state. So that was odd.
I was able to look up my polling location on the county’s website and was there by half past 7. The elementary school gym being used as a polling place was well staffed and well organized. There were lots more people voting than in any previous election I can remember. The organization of it moved people along quickly though. I was in and out in about half an hour, as compared to about 10 minutes in 2016.
As of last weekend’s polling, the R candidates are well ahead here (Trump, Lumis for Senate, and Cheyney for the House), but that’s no surprise. Interestingly, in ’16 both R’s and D’s indicated they were casting their vote “against” the other party’s candidate. Now there are indications an overwhelming number of R’s voting “for” Trump, but D’s are still voting “against” Trump as opposed to “for” Biden.
I’m curious to see if that phenomenon is happening in other states too. Recent rally turnout – huge for Trump, while dismal for Biden – sure makes it seem plausible!
Rich, older suburb in central Ohio: I just checked the crowd at my school’s Kindergarten, today used for the local voting precinct. It was packed this morning, but now not very much.
That could change, of course toward the evening.
Election judge in Idaho (boise) here. First surge over, a lull before lunch crowd. About 1000 have voted today in this precinct. No issues so far. Two voters brought in ballots they received but didn’t request. They’ve been marked spoiled and set aside. All ages voting so far. Our registration line is busy-sometimes busier than the regular check in lines.
Praying during the lulls….
I feel a little better about the mail in ballots because after doing some digging of the 65M mail-in ballots returned to date around 20M or 31% of those are coming from just 4 blue states (CA, NY, OR, WA)
I did find it interesting that around 65% of all the 92M mail-in ballots have been returned but in PA their mail-in ballot return rate in over 84% and the Dems requested 65% of all mail-in ballots in the state.
If around 40M people vote today IMO PT wins.
In Person
Clatsop County Oregon elections clerk is not allowing Clatsop County Republican party members to be in the vote counting process. This is a pivotal county, with repercussions ( good ones ) if upsets occur. Keep well everyone – Pray we do not lose 240 years of Blood, sweat and tears.

Hubby, me and our 4 year old little grand love went to vote around 8am this morning in our very red little community. We are 45 minutes south of Cleveland the Gateway to Amish Country as they say. We had about a 30 minute maybe a little less wait. We have never had a wait like today. Typically, we are in and out in 10 minutes. A friend who is in a blue county north of us said he had about an hour wait to vote. We drove by two other polling stations this morning in another blue county and the lines in both polling places were long. I feel a enormous red wave coming.
Lines in blue counties…could that mean Biden voters in late push?
No
That’s what I want to hear.
Suburban Wayne County MI. Number 1821 at 11am in my precinct. Please to find someone with the petition to recall governor Whitmer available to sign.
Lines are long…very very long…
We could use a Mitch Rapp just about now. RIP Vince Flynn.
Northern Delaware (north of WIlmington) here. Way more people than usual at my polling place and only people wearing political attire in line were Trumpers!
We’ve always had electronic ballots but this year we have a sheet of paper that you slide into the machine as well. After you’ve made your selection you press PRINT BALLOT and it prints your vote. You then verify that it is correct before pressing VOTE and the paper goes into the machine.
Mine said TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT and the rest were all Republican.
Northern Delaware is unfortunately mostly blue no thanks to Wilmington but anything is possible
even though we’re just 3 electoral votes.
#TRUMP 2020 MAGA
Same voting procedure here in Arizona.
Los Angeles County:
768 total voting locations in LA county with 20 voting locations in my area. Voted yesterday with a 25-30 person line. Went by the same location this morning after the location had been open for 2.5 hours and saw a minimum line with security guard saying there has been a steady flow but no extensive wait times. Many locations were open all last week as well for early in-person voting and ballot drop-off.
Walking up to the voting location yesterday I was surprised by an overwhelming sense of emotion. After 4 years of evil hell and an uncertain future on the line voting was a sobering experience.
Profile pic checks out!

The democrat talking point today is ‘Voter Suppression’, every Democrat on FoxNews is running with that line of BS about the Republicans.
That says “we’re losing and can’t accept it, wahh!”
That picture of President Trump and Vice President Pence. The old saying, a picture says a thousand words comes to mind.
A good reminder!

TV report: I have it on mute, but Marie Harf’s face is lock-jawed right now on Fox. Almost like steam is coming out of her ears. She is not happy. Which means I am.
???
I voted at 10:00 this morning at my small town local fire department in Northern Mississippi. I usually vote this time in the morning so I don’t have a long wait time. I miss the before work and lunch time voters. Well, this time there was a line all the way to the door and a traffic jam in the parking lot. I have never waited that long. Based on this, I think voter turnout will be huge. I talked to my Dad in Greensboro, North Carolina to find out his voting experience but he had not voted yet. He did say his phone was blowing up with get out the vote texts. I will check with him tonight and post how voting went for him as well.
Central PA here, Bigass turnout happening. Voted.
Thank you. We need a BIG rural vote to offset Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
Vote, rural Pennsylvania, and you will save the nation!
Don’t forget that President Trump will grab a significant % of the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia vote as well.
Maurkice Pouncey (Pittsburgh Steeler) posted his proud Trump vote on his Instagram story today. He had Trump flags, his kids with signs, etc!
Getting ready to do my shift at the polling place the Bucks County GOP sent me to (I said wherever they needed me and of course that’s on the other end of the county, lol). The location where I voted had a good line at just before noontime and the GOP poll workers there were pretty happy with the response they’ve been getting, so that’s a good sign.
And just remember if you’re voting in PA, there are contests on both sides of the ballot you fill out, so make sure to fill both sides out!
Thank you for your work.

What Thao neglects to say is that this VBM lead has been factored into the statistical analysis by many conservative bloggers, posters and POTUS… but his final statement is correct, get out and vote, regardless of where you live.
That’s right. And we will need every vote we can get to stop them from cheating and make Trump’s mandate loud and clear.
Yes, need to win the popular vote as well as EC.
I live in a small town in northeast Iowa and arrived at the polls 30 minutes before they opened. I was amazed by the number of people waiting to cast votes compared to past years. Lots of folks in line I didn’t recognize but lots of American flag face masks and camo jackets.
Enthusiasm is on our side.
No lines – Hamilton County Indiana, north indy metro. Leans Red. It’s going to be tough for any candidates who are trailing before today to overcome deficits if voting is this light around the country.
They probably voted earlier.
I know several Trump voters who did the Absentee route this year, mainly
due to virus fears…
But how were lines over the last few weekends? Here in Johnson County (very Red) I stood in line for an hour two Saturdays ago.
Vassar mi, Thumb area 830Am
Lines are long, 80 people happy upbeat and patient. Wait was about an hour and a half. Saw three masks on in line.
This was a huge turn out compared to 2016
My vote (straight Rep) is in. As with every election, I voted in person and put my ballot into the counter myself.
Trust No One with your ballot!
No line when I got there at about 9:30. A lot of people in the numerous voting booths. A line was forming and many cars pulling in, as I left.
I was impressed with a few changes in our voting procedures. It should be much harder to cheat.
Arizona for Trump!
Small Vermont Rural Town; about 2000 residents. Voted around 10am.. Only 2 ahead of me; maybe 3 or so in process of voting. Upon leaving noticed 3 or 4 in line and as walking out notices 3or 4 walking toward voting area. A dribble of cars pulling in.. Strong North Wind mid to low 30’s. Glade no line; in & out.. Voted R for most; with the R’s that really weren’t left blank. Of course The Donald got my vote. I have never trusted the voting system in Vermont & don’t now. Sanctuary Cities and a RINO Gov; what’s to trust? He’s been lying about COVID-19 since the beginning… He’s Blue….
645am in Ashburn, VA the place was empty. About 8 of us total. Ashburn has been infested with lefties fleeing the cities over the last few years. But the Trump signs and Truck flags all over the city say people have had enough. Hoping the polls got flooded after I left. My buddy reported his poll just a few miles away was packed to gills at 6am.
LET’S GOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Concerning what’s going on, perhaps Sundance can let us in on what’s happening with HAMMER and SCORECARD. Asking for a friend.
In a blue precinct in Charlotte voted 30m after open. No wait. Wife, son and daughter voted at 1130, they were back before noon. No wait.
This district was slammed ’08 and ’12.
Pinellas co fla turned red at noon. Total GOP votes quickly out pacing dimms
OMG! And hubby and I haven’t voted yet in Pinellas! Headed out soon.
IN Minnesota, there are no lines. 60% voted early in the area i live. I do not know anyone that has switched their vote from 2016. That sad part, is talking to smart people that believe the lies CNN puts out day after day.
Why do I suspect Team Biden’s anemic campaign is due to their confidence in the mail-in ballot results?
Because Bob, you are a sentient being.
I think it’s more from the fact that he has no enthusiasm and can’t go 20 seconds without a huge gaffe. They haven’t exuded confidence in the last couple weeks, that’s for sure.
And why do I know their confidence was misplaced?
They trusted Obama.
Then he didn’t deliver Michelle, their main hope.
Then he assured them Kamala would do well. Uh, no.
Barack offered up Duval Patrick. Even Duval’s mother has forgotten.
The last option in the pantry (behind the lima beans) was Sleepy Joe.
Even then, Obama wouldn’t actually endorse his selection. Ha Ha!
Obama had to go out and campaign for his booby prize. Nobody showed up (a surprise to only Barack).
Welcome to the landslide, courtesy of Obama’s ego.
Yes, it is true, the CDC has Jumped the Shark and become a SuperSpreader!
OK to break “quarantine” to vote in person. ???
Insane.

Facebook has removed “The New Tea Party Movement” group, which had well in excess of 20,000 members.
Dothan, AL. 0940
Stood in line for 30 minutes on a beautiful sunny day in the Deep South with over 100 people in front of me. Had to show an ID to get in and once again to get a ballot. When I left the line had grown to over 200 steady. There is heavy voting in Alabama, a Crimson Red state, for Donald J. Trump.
Clermont Co., SW Ohio. Voted at 1030 this AM. Short line moving well. NO ONE commented or looked askance on my not wearing a muzzle even though sign says ya gotta. I take this as a good sign the people in line are not flaming leftists.
Went to UDF and got a malt. Young lady (30ish?) leaned close and said “can I take it because you aren’t wearing a mask you are voting for Trump?” and I said oh hell yes I just came from voting. Received big smile and she said “we have got to win!” A great day so far!

Ohio Trump Voters Say Polls Are Wrong

Also reporting from red country N Mississippi. About 435 people are registered at my polling location, the VFD. The poll attendant, handing out masks and hand sanitizer if needed, told me there was a long line in the parking lot when they opened. By 10 AM they’d had over 125 voters. Another dozen or more arrived while I was there. In past elections, we’ve had the place almost to ourselves while voting. The county has a good, organized process to handle the heavy turnout. Cool sunny weather helped matters.
A relative in Virginia Beach, VA is getting robocalls telling him to “stay home & stay safe” … the D’s are trying to suppress the vote. He early voted, as has the rest of the family. I’m thinking the D’s are getting nervous … maybe there’s a chance of Virginia is in play? Not holding my breath ….
Your relatives should report the robocalls. That is voter suppression. Report it to local election officials and also here is a link to report to Trump team.

North Indianapolis here (Washington township). Probably 55/45 D/R voter split here, but 90% of lawn signs are for Biden. Rest of Indiana is solidly Trump. Voted at 7:30 AM. Surprised that this voting place was an assisted living facility. I figured they would fear COVID. In-out in 15 minutes. One of the poll watchers said that 30 minutes prior to my arrival, there were NO people in to vote.
Can anyone recommend a good site to follow for live updates and data? Thanks in advance.

I recommend The Last Refuge. Hee-hee. I expect Sundance will post links.
Yeah I’m hoping to find the site I followed in 2018. I can’t find it in my history because I wiped my computer, like, with a cloth. lol
Green Bay Wisconsin. I voted at 8 am. My precinct was slow. I went right in without waiting. Two other people voting. Over 60% of eligible voters in my county have already voted by absentee ballot. More people working the polls than previous years. Seemed like younger volunteers as well.
I will be driving by again at 5 pm to see if there is a surge of people voting after work.
Wisconsin is going to be close. I expect shenanigans in Madison and Milwaukee. We’ll see if the turnout in the rest of the state can overcome it.
