One of the best ways to identify what’s going on in any area is a ground report from the people most familiar with it, that’s YOU. If you are voting today perhaps you would consider sharing a ground report from your town, city, neighborhood or voting precinct.
How’s the turnout? Any issues or concerns? What’s the overall climate amid your voting locales. Please feel free to share your personal perspectives in the comment section along with any links to any information you feel might be valuable or interesting.

Columbus (Pickerington) Ohio, peaceful, easy in and out. Folks seemed to be relaxed, as opposed to 2016 where I perceived cold anger. Of course I voted at 10 am est because I’m working from home, in 2016 I voted after work at 6pm est. Different crowds and different times. Poll workers said the lines were long in early AM.
Just voted I’m Wellington In lorain county ohio. 800 people already voted in person. Big time turnout in conservative rural town.
Ventura County, CA(just north of LA). Voted last week by county drop box, tracked ballot online showed received and accepted. Luckily county election officer is Trump supporter otherwise would have done in person. County used to be consistently red until several years ago as more and more LA people started migrating north due to housing costs, now leans blue. But there is absolutely a palpable feel that California could start at least turning back to a little more red. Still a lot of brainwashed people out here but more and more are waking up to what’s been going on out here. Even many die-hard liberals that I talk to are starting to question the continued lockdowns, school closing, Disneyland closing, high costs and taxes, etc. and starting to connect some dots and see the differences between policies in red vs blue states.
President Trump has done his job well, he has woken this country and the world up from its slumber and sleepwalking and has the whole world paying attention and being involved in their lives and destinies.
Sacramento County here. I dropped my ballot in a drop box at my grocery store on Saturday, and began checking on line for its status yesterday. No joy so far from ballotrax, which tells me my ballot was mailed to me weeks ago. Got a Robo call from ballotrax at 7:30 AM giving me a number to call, 800-345-8683, if I had questions, but it was different from what showed in my phone and from the one online, two different numbers in my own area code. Called the online number first, and reached a young voice in the county election office who walked me through checking the County’s own election website, which had the same status as ballotrax. He explained that every drop box was collected once each day and brought to a back room operation at the County where they were all scanned in, and to keep checking status. He told me I couldn’t go to the precinct and file a provisional ballot, that that would be voting twice, and a crime. I explained I understood I could do so provisionally, and he said there’d been a couple rules changes (with that unconvincing tone of voice of a young not-too-bright person repeating what they’d heard as if it must be Gospel, no citation offered).
Then I called the local robo-call number, which was answered by someone at the California Secretary of State. This guy told me it could take 12 days to count all ballots. I asked him about provisional ballots, and he told me he could not advise me to vote twice because that would be illegal. I grilled him a bit on this, and he said if I voted provisionally, only the first ballot processed would be counted. I asked him about the provisional voting process, how it worked to protect me from being accused of a crime, and he referred me back to the County, as if those rules are local.
So I’ll keep checking status, and becoming more concerned, as the day goes by.
I’d appreciate any advice about the legality of provisionals.
Meanwhile, saw this article saying Newsom’s decision to nail everyone ballots was held to be illegal. https://www.zerohedge.com/political/judge-rules-gov-newsom-violated-california-constitution-again-june-order-mail-ballots
So far, my experience is entirely consistent with a major plan to manipulate the vote count against Republicans in California, as occurred in 2018 to flip all those Republican House seats via week-long targeted vote harvesting.. My wife’s Dem ballot was dropped at the same place a couple days earlier, and counted as received within 48 hours.
Maybe you should head over to your polling place and speak to whoever is in chagre there.
Jerry – Downtown Sac here.
I put mine in a ballot box Friday. It’s been accepted.
My wife put her’s in Saturday. Thus far, it has not been accepted. She is at the polling place right now filling out a provisional just in case.
What a cluster F. Need a highly vetted absentee/mail-in process and they need to be received before the day after election day. Other than that just early in-person voting and election day in-person voting with the proper ID/Documentation. No putting your vote into the slot in the clowns head or laying it at a corner with some flowers and candles or giving it to the ice cream man to drop off. Good lord.
Thank you for your story. I’m surrendering my CA ballot and voting in person for the first time since I’ve lived in CA (15 years). Ballot harvesting shenanigans in 2018 were infuriating. Our local district was easily able to tell us which candidates won, but took weeks to finally tally the local tax bond measures (coincidentally, in the favor of the tax).
Go vote in person. Not your fault that they didn’t record your ballot and you had to go. Their issue not yours. They are liars and dems and dems and liars. Interchangeable.
Confirmed tally now up to 18 family votes for President Donald J. Trump. Seven in Texas. Four in Michigan. Two in Georgia. Two in Louisiana. Two in New Mexico. And one in Colorado.
~~~~~~~~ TRUMP the VOTE ~~~~~~~~
A beautiful, sunny, crisp and breezy late Autumn day in my small NH town… Longest line I’ve seen in 28 years here, but the polling place is well-run and we got through it all in less than an hour…. A good vibe all around, which strongly suggests Trump voters ?….
I am from Clackamas County Oregon and I have never seen anything like it. Trump flags everywhere. Cars and trucks driving around with Trump 2020 and American flags. I have seen one single Biden yard sign. Democrats don’t even like Biden and Trump supporters are vocal.
Another Clackamas County resident here.
Lakewood, Ohio here. Liberal stronghold. Went to vote at 10 am. no line but a goo number of folks voting. Was told twice on the way by poll workers to remove my Trump 2020 hat, a polite, no thank you and I went in to vote.
Poll worker at exit handing out ‘I voted’ stickers told me it was busy at 7 am and they are expecting a crowd around lunchtime and again near the end of the day.
I used to live in Lakewood. Sad that it is an Antifa and BLM stronghold now.
My hubby went to the hospital in an ambulance late Halloween due to extreme stomach pain. After two hours of tests the doctor said his pain was being caused by kidney stones.
Hubby was given a high dose of pain meds via his IV, and when his pain was under control we headed home. Got to bed by 1am and by 2am we were up and heading to a closer hospital because the pain had come back even greater than before.
Hubby has been battling pain since then, and yesterday he finally gave in and took the Oxycodone prescribed for his pain. This morning, after taking one oxy at 4am, then another at 5am, the pain was so severe he needed to go to the emergency room again.
He was in terrible shape — He was dizzy to the point of falling over from the drugs, he had not slept well in days, he beat himself up for “lying around so much,” he had not eaten in almost three days because he got sick when taking even a small bite, and he was in pain most of the time.
Yet the one question he asked while in the emergency room this morning was, “Can we go vote yet?”
We drove from the hospital to our polling place and I held onto my husband to keep him from falling over as we went in and voted. With everything he was going through, there was no way he would miss casting his vote for President Trump today.
I dropped him off at home and went to pick-up his prescription for different pain meds.
The sun is shining brightly here in northern Minnesota this morning and it is an unusually (fabulously!) warm 66 degrees. I am grateful to God for His bountiful goodness and mercy, knowing that at this moment my husband is without pain and sleeping soundly. And I am thankful too, just to sit here and read the uplifting words of patriots across our beautiful country. Thank you, all.
p.s. small town, small precinct, and we were voters #33 & 34.
Raven,
You’re both true patriots. I hope your husband feels much better soon.
Thank you!
Praying for you and your husband, Raven!
Thank you for your prayers!
Sending your husband a BIG KISS!
I’ve been fortunate enough to visit northern Minnesota a few times…the towering forests, the gleaming lakes. The air so fresh you can taste it. It is truly God’s country.
Hoping MN turns Red this year!
When I arrived at my polling place in downtown Tucson, I was the only voter. I was told, though, that when the poll workers arrived early for the 6 AM opening, there was a line of about 20 people.
It’ll be interesting to see how Tucson votes. Normally, a blue dot in a mostly red state, there has been strong support for Trump at rallies and I saw a tweet about 96 mile long rally of cars and trucks with Trump signs between Tucson and Phoenix.
Voted in deep blue Tallahassee, FL at 7:10 AM. No line upon arrival. Wifey and I cast ballots #5 and #6.
Just voted in District 1 in Stafford Co, VA. Area is considered “rural”, but the polling place was full. Scanner said only 1100 out of 12k expected had voted. Still early today and early/mail in voting is a thing. Beautiful and sunny today too!
No matter where you are STAY IN LINE!! Make sure you cast your ballot!
I pray God protects the candidates, the poll workers, and the voters. We need the Spirit of Elijah to flow through our Nation today. Joshua 1:9
SW Missouri, town just south of Spfd. Polling place had a line going out into the parking lot and winding along side the building. When we voted noticed the machine had already counted 4790 ballots. Figure 2 counting machines, could be close to 9K in that location. At 9:30 a.m.!
Surely a good sign. More cars pulling into the parking lot as we left. Never seen anything like that before. Well, maybe in ’16.
MAGA2020.
Rush is leading off his show by speaking for me and many others: Thank you for your tireless effort on this campaign, President Trump!
That is the story of the last five days: PT’s indefatigable effort, tireless public service far above and beyond what PT needed to do. Thank you, President Trump!
On top of the 70-hour workweeks PT has been putting in for America for the last four years!
Washington, DC. I arrived shortly after polls opened at 7:00 AM. Outside, I saw volunteers campaigning for the local candidates, but no Biden or Trump volunteers.
I entered the polling center and was shocked to be the only voter there. Activity was VERY slow according to poll workers. Perhaps lots of people in my precinct voted early or by mail.
I voted for Trump and then picked GOP and Libertarian candidates for the local races.
So, smooth sailing all around.
Washington DC is a solid democratic party stronghold. It is quite possible and in my opinion probable that many democrats are staying home and are not voting. Who in their right mind would vote for a man who obviously has dementia and has been unmasked as selling out the country to communist China?
My good friend Dennis Santiago who’s an Author and commentator over at RedState.com
told everyone a little story during a speech last Saturday evening…
Has anyone ever been in Washington DC on election night”? Everyone one was silent.
“On election night” he continued, “When the other party wins, they all go about their business in DC but the only difference, they now don’t have to get off at that certain stop they did for the past four years.
Later on, Dennis and I stood around talking and I said to him, “What struck me most with that story is how I try to explain to people that forget Democrats and Republicans, call them Party A and Party B.” “When Party A is in control, they eventually shift and then Party A is in control, than they shift again and behold, Party A is in control”
His response… “DEAD ON”
Thought some might like that true story.
Key West, Fl Monroe County Really nice weather today. I voted today I saw a few people with Biden signs a block away from the polling station. There wasn’t a line to vote or anything. But we have had early voting since Oct 19th here. I do know that in Monroe County there are more registered Republicans than Democrats.
Just voted in Illinois. I know it won’t help Trump with electoral votes but maybe I’ll be the one that puts him ahead in the popular vote! We have way too many items with only a Dem running.
Voted yesterday. only wait time was using the new machines for check in. Voter ID check, good.
Maricopa County has constant updates on their sites, with line #’s and wait times. Out in South East Valley, heavy POTUS support (signs/flags). Only a few Biden yard signs. Large Biden signs (4 x 4 ) only came out last week on the street corners. Only way Kamala wins is cheating.
North Phoenix AZ for me and mine, arrived 10 minutes before polls opened it went smooth and fairly quick saw lots of Trump supporters because you know, there’s just something about us.
Had my “Trump 2020” Mask on inside the polling station and not one word about removing or turning it inside out but boy, I was ready with the law and their manual just in case.
Inside everyone was pleasant and seemed to be relieved to finally vote. Plus, for the first time, I was happy to get a “I Voted” sticker because deep down I knew this time what it truly meant for America.
MAGA/KAG 2020 and GOD bless President Trump, VP Pence, all of you and of course the greatest country the world has ever known. Trust me when I say, the world is Praying with us.
South Central PA here. Heavy red county. Small town of 1500. 4 Trump votes from my household. When I voted in ’16, there was a line at our local library that was about only two or three people out the door. The voting room is just to the left right inside the door. Today at 10:30 AM it was out the door and down the sidewalk to the end of the building. A nice lady from the county Republican committee gave us a flyer informing us of changes to our paper ballot. There is no longer an option to vote straight party ticket. Each race had to be voted on individually. The flyer showed a sample ballot but with only the R names listed and the little oval filled in beside the names. There were also signs for Trump and all the R down ballot races. No D signs. It was about a 20 min wait to vote altogether. After we fill in the paper ballot, we insert it into a machine that keeps the ballot and tells you on the screen that your vote was counted. When I got outside the line was just as long as it was when I went in. Our town is Trump country.
Pennsylvania — my polling place in the Pittsburgh area required NO SIGNATURE whatsoever to vote.
This will likely invalidate your vote if you provide no signature whatsoever.
Insist that you sign your signature when you check in.
Pittsburgh pa here…..i had to sign my name!
Williamson County, TN – light but steady at 10:30am. In and out in under 10 minutes. Kudos to the poll workers. Ninety pct of voters wearing masks(not me) but one worker wearing a face shield upside down and around her neck, presumably to launch all breath in the direction of the person in front of her as effectively as possible. One worker said there was an early morning rush, probably from folks trying to get it done before work. No typical poster holders outside for any major races.
I’m in Seattle, so surrounded by a sea of blue, lol. We’ve had all mail in voting here for years. I dropped my ballot off at the drop box yesterday, rather than trusting it to the mail. I’ve never changed my registration from when I moved here many years ago and I was younger and foolish, haha. So I’m still a registered Democrat but I voted a straight R ticket (as I did the last election). I don’t have much hope for King county to ever go red… but I can dream!
Translation: We lost! ?
Biden put all his hope to turn TX blue to win. 🙂
“Iiiii’m dreamiiiing of a Bluuuue Texas”
Wake up, sleepy, the dream is over.
It’s, for you, NIGHTMARE time.
And even with PA sleepy Joe has only one path to 270, fraud!!!
The multiple pathways rely on phony mail in ballots, illegal voters and voting machines loaded with rogue computer software.
Because they know if they lose PA and FL, other states are also lost- I think CT, MA, and even NJ are now in play. Or they will be so close that it causes Dems to shit. Especially MA and CT. I never thought CT would be in play until the last 5 days. The rallies and the Trump Trains have been huge.
Even if CT and MA go blue they were expected too. If they are within 5 pts that’s still a huge bad sign for the Dems.
What a strange comment to make…tough when it is taken out of context. If Biden loses PA, it’s over. The fact that Biden is campaigning in PA today tells you something is going on tho’.
My wife and I voted here in SC around 10:30 AM. Voted straight R. Almost 400 had already voted which is very high for our precinct at this point of time in the day. Typically would be 60-90 at this point in time. No lines. Very efficient process that included finger signing “the book” which is now a tablet of some kind. Voted electronically. At the end, this produced a paper ballot that the voter puts into a scanner where it is recorded immediately. In and out in less than two minutes. A steady flow of people, many of whom had patriotic gear on.
Fort Worth, TX
In the mid-60s and sun shining here.
I drove past two voting locations, one a very large center. Neither location had a line; there were no people walking towards the entry and no people leaving.
Have Texans voted early? Are people staying home?
Same here in my very liberal district of East Dallas……..I was shocked. Not a single person waiting on line. This was at 8.30 am.
Liberals aren’t voting on the ED. It seems to be a trend throughout the country. The deep blue city polling place has no line while red counties have long lines.
They are voting here in SE Texas, 2 or 3 a minute arriving and leaving. Maybe 15 or so minutes to vote now. It’s perfect weather too!
My neighbor worked at an early voting location in Fort Worth…Meadowcrest, I think…my neighbor said @ 2000 people voted there in one of the days last week…Told my neighbor I was voting today…Election Day….which I did.
My voting location at @10:30am Texas time was relatively empty…while I voted there were maybe 2-3 other voters in the space, eiither walking through the door or checking in..no one else voting when i did…voting machines with computer screens in plain view such that anyone with good eyes can see how you are voting..
Bear in mind we live in the TCU area…lots of professors…hence Biden signs scattered on all our neighborhood streets…with random Trump signs or American flags…or nothing at all…so not sure what that all indicates…but doesnt feel all are in for Biden..
Our polling station had ALL Democrat candidate signs…not one Republican sign out front at all…that was unexpected…and a bit disppointing to see as I left.
My first time voting in Texas…wore dominant red…made sure my ballot was counted….most others, poll workers and voters, in variations of blue or everyday wear.
Anyway…that’s my slice of Fort Worth report?
No line out front can be misleading . . . .
My voting place had no line out front, only a few people. I soon found this was not representative of the number waiting to vote. Voters were brought in quickly, identified with two IDs, signature on a tablet takes a second. That completed, voters were directed to a hall to stand in line.
At 9:45 a.m. (SE AZ) there were 10 in line in front of me. Before it was my turn there were four behind me.
The couple in front of me and the woman behind me were there to vote Trump-Pence!
I voted a couple of weeks ago. I live in Keller but voted in Hurst or North Richland Hills because they did not have a line. I think early voting was huge at the Keller polling locations. Made my wife vote for Trump – she may not have otherwise but she knows it is important to me. I made no other specific request of her and when I asked her if she voted for Cornyn she said she did not vote on that race because she always heard me badmouthing Cornyn – I tried to explain to her how he was “cold french fries” but his opponent was a feces sandwich.
This is in alignment with other highly Democrat populated districts- no one is there. Whereas in either purple or red areas- lines out the butt. Long lines. Historic lines.
Now, It could be early voting but south Florida is showing that the Dems were also absent during early voting. Even the mail-in ballots are showing a lack of Dem turnout.
I think regular Dems are just not voting. They won’t vote for an R but they can’t vote for Harris, er, I mean Biden.
wind:
several of my Trump-voting friends here in DFW voted early, including me?
North SF Bay CA here. In line at 7:15am. 35 min. wait. Very orderly. Fill out name card. Take it to sign up desk. If you ask to fill out the ballot old school to run through the scanner, you had to sign a receipt which they kept to validate your signature to cancel any secondary ballots handed in. Then go to next desk where they give you the scan-able ballot to fill out. Fill it out and insert each page into scanner. Get your “I’ve voted” sticker. When the spouse and I finished, the line was gone. Saw lots of folks in red hats and shirts, fwiw…praying for popular vote upset here…
One of my children in L.A. voted R.
Maybe that will help!!!!
Same procedure here in Pittsburgh, Pa……all good and orderly!
PA Bucks County here. I arrived at my polling place about 6:45. Voting began at 7:00. I waited one hour. I was voter #33 but there was another district voting in the same room. Massive line out the door and around the building. My township has roughly 40.000 residents and 25 percent are Russian immigrants. They hate communism and always come out to vote. I expect our President to take our township quite easily.
I’m at my sister’s house today, across the street from the school, steady stream of voters coming and going. Short line. It appears they are in and out in 20 minutes. Looks like a heavy turnout on day of election here. Liberty County Texas.
Beautiful day, sunny and light wing. 68° right now… T-shirt and shorts weather 😉
I live in the Democrat stronghold of Berkley Michigan. I voted a bit after 11 am today, there was no line and I was the only one not wearing a mask. I was voter 254 according to the tabulator. Likely most of the votes in my city were early voters given its mainly democrats
Or they are not voting- south Florida early voting numbers are showing that Dems are not voting. As are mail-in ballots. Still early to make that call but the signs are showing very low turnout for Dems.
Here in Las Vegas, NV, we voted early (last week) and we were and are glad we did! A local newspaper is reporting VOTING PROBLEMS this morning as follows:
“Shortly after 7 a.m., the elections division of the Nevada Secretary of State’s office tweeted that “several polling locations in the county are experiencing technical problems and have not yet opened.””
Clark County Nevada is VERY CROOKED. If POTUS gets a state stolen, this is the most prime candidate. Republicans have been killing it in Nevada so far, so I fully expect every Dirty Harry Reid trick there to counter.
I read elsewhere “polling problems” in Pennsylvania forced the poll workers to break out manual hand-completed forms. The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if such issues forcing hand-written back-up ballots are actually fraud-prevention forced by some patriot initiative?
Suburban Columbus OH…longest lines I have ever seen. Just packed at 11am which is usually a great window to get in and get out. Well run precinct as usual. Surprised by the number of 20 somethings but I guess they are all home living with parents. Beautiful weather so no problems waiting 45 minutes outside..
Suburb west of Richmond. Polls opened 6am, about 60 in line at 0545, once we all entered the building I will say 275-300. Retired couples and working class. One zoomer in yoga pants staring at her phone.
This is the third election I’ve volunteered for the state or local GOP. In the Kerry-Bush election, I made a few hundred phone calls.
In the infamous ORCA election (Romney v. Obama), I was a poll observer for 8 to 10 hours. The whole point of observing (apart from identifying questionable or illegal practices, and I spotted none) was to enter into ORCA the names of those who had voted so that phone calls could be to GOP voters and leaners who had not voted. It was a miserable experience—ORCA never worked, I heard numerous angry voters telling their neighbors they’d never vote for another Republican (they were loud–I wasn’t eavesdropping), and I developed a nasty cold and sinus infection that took months to get over.
This year has been much different. I volunteered in the office a few hours and spent a few hours doing some easy-peasy on-line work at home. Today I was again a poll observer for four hours, and this time the application to enter voters (i360 Walk) worked great. Hopefully those who haven’t voted will get a phone call urging them to make their vote count. I live in NC. If the vote is close, this ground game could make the difference for the president, Tillis, and others.
Sadly, looks like my absentee ballot has been lost in the mail. Tracked it and called the town clerk. Mailed mine out a few days before my wife’s and hers was accepted, mine still shows as being not returned.
Looks like I will have to live vicariously through the rest of you.
You should call your county board of elections and see if you can vote provisionally in person today.
Unfortunately, I am in SC and my district is in Mass. I just moved down to SC and missed the cutoff by about 3 days. I’m so freaking bummed right now.
Can you get a local stand in to vote for you? Other than that, I am afraid this is a problem…
Go Vote In Person!
no record…Vote Vote Vote!!!
I wish but I am several states away. Don’t worry, my vote was in a deep blue state, making it largely symbolic (sans popular vote). But man, I was excited to vote for PDJT after abstaining in 2016. I
Vote early, vote often ?
Go vote in person now.
Danbury, Connecticut: I voted at the local high school this morning around 11AM. I was only on line for about 15 minutes.
Connecticut does not have early voting. However, they sent everyone an application for an absentee ballot. You were allowed to check “Covid-19” as the reason for voting absentee.
Smooth sailing here in rural Michigan, good size line but everyone friendly and moving along well. Official recall governor whitmer petition kiosk right down the road from the poll so I got to sign that too. The recall effort looks well organized. This psycho tyrant has got to go!
West Coast of Fl. 60 minutes south of Tampa. No line at the little firehouse. 1 of 2 people that check you in liked my Trump mask. Had it around my neck. The other poll watcher was a friend I know from AA. We only have 400 registered voters here . I have a couple of Trump / Pence signs in my yard. My car did 2 direct hits from eggs a couple of weeks ago. VERY hard to get off. Finally , after multiple tries to remove I found that magic eraser works wonderfully.
Just voted with my son who is a first time voter. Both my boys 21 and 23 voting Trump in small town in NW corner of Connecticut. A long line in cold wind. Have never seen a line outside before (in over 30 yrs). Husband tried to go before work and line was very long at 6 AM so will have to wait until after work now. I pray somehow we can turn this state Red!
Same experience in eastern CT. Extremely long lines at 6:30 am. Over the past 35 years I have never experienced a wait or line of more than 10 people. Hoping for a conservative turn here in CT.
Just voted in heavily Democratic Cuyahoga county (Cleveland OH). We tried to vote early at the Board of Elections last Thursday and it was mayhem so we went home. Didn’t fancy two hours in line in nasty weather. The polling station today was in the foyer of the Cavaliers stadium. No lines so we were in and out inside ten minutes.
Just voted in rural township outside of twin cities (MN). 1 hour 15 minutes in line. Didn’t mind – weather in low 60s after having 9 inches of snow a few weeks back. Lots of President Trump supporters and lots of enthusiasm. People in good mood but worried about riots that might ensue when President Trump wins. We miss visiting the cities – too dangerous these days which is unfortunate.
I early voted with no issues on Friday in Texas. Today, our voting system is down and they are using paper ballots. This was reported from some of my employees that voted on their way in to work. Not sure how widespread this is.
SPAULDING COUNTY, GA = Trump country
Officials in a county in Georgia said Tuesday that all polling stations are up and running after a glitch caused voting machines to stop working.
“All polling stations in each precinct are now up and running as they should be,” Spalding County said in a mid-morning statement.
The county had said previously that there was a “county wide technical issue with all polls,” prompting them to deliver provisional ballots to every location.
“The computers at all polling locations across Spalding County are down. The problem is being worked on and hopefully will be resolved quickly,” the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “Until the issue is fixed, paper ballots are being used at all locations.”
Spalding County, in western Georgia, has a population of about 67,000.
The county went for Donald Trump in 2016.
Spalding County Elections Supervisor Marcia Ridley told WSB-TV that the computer issue was caused by a glitch.
Officials were waiting for the Dominion company to send workers to fix the machines, she said earlier Tuesday.
Thousands of provisional ballots were being sent to polling stations so people could vote with paper.
Polling stations in the state are closing at 7 p.m. People in line at the time can vote.
Just talked to someone who voted there. It’s fixed now. Poll workers didn’t program the machines correctly. Incompetence moreso than cheating.
I voted at a polling place north of Lawrenceville GA 30043. Greg Kennard is the incumbent Democrat house member and he was only elected in 2016. Soo Hong is the female Republican opponent. This district has been trending blue for some time with a lot of solidly middle class black, asian, and latino families have moved in. I would use this district as a primary example of how anyone in America can be successful if they finish school, don’t have children too early, get married and stay out of trouble. In 2016 I waited in line for 45 min with a wide array of what I would say were obvious Democrat voters. Today there was no line at 11:30 am. I walked right in and was out in 5 min. There is a steady stream of folks coming in but no wait. there were maybe 14 actual voting booths and most of them were full but there were always open ones. The early voting locations around here were busy but not outlandishly so except for the first day. My impression was that most of the voters there were likely red.
Just voted in Chicago and there was only one other voter there. No lines here despite a beautiful sunny day.
My take on that is that many democrats are not voting and sitting out this election.
I Voted! Twice! ✊
New York Post: CDC announces that people sick with covid can break quarantine to vote in person.
Is this to suppress the vote? Or are they so desperate for Blue voters they are telling the truth, that the virus isn’t that bad for most people. Do people waiting in lines know?
Ask people if you can.
Lol lol , my guess? They are desperate for votes! The masks are all about control? Take em off and enjoy the air! Smells like win here in Pittsburgh, PA!!!!! Just keep,praying! God is surely listening!
More likely they are trying to scare people from voting. They can falsify the mail in votes but not the in person voting.
Irony is it will suppress dem votes more not Rep votes
I’ve lived in a small town in Alabama all my life. Population is around 3,000. Heavy Trump support here. Line at the only voting place was wrapped around the building this morning, so I left and came back at 10 AM. Line still wrapped around the building. Stayed and voted. Got in and out in about 40 minutes.
I can’t help but think this portends a HUGE turn out for Trump nation-wide.
I think he might have a chance on winning the popular votes this time.
My polling location in a small town in Upstate SC is the longest line I have ever seen. Same kind of reports all over our area of SC. MAGA!!!
Upstate SC. I had a 2 hour wait. Talked to a lady in front of me, said she has been in the area for 40 years and has never seen the line that long. Parking lot was packed and people were parking all over the place. The same lady went to feed her vote in the machine and did not get the same Thank you that I got. Unsure if her vote was counted.
My husband voted earlier and he said a lady in front of him, that her vote when printed, did not have Trumps name on it, she had to go back to get it cleared up.
2 million people voted in the 2016 election in SC
1.2 million absentee votes cast in 2020.
