This is the first rally where I listened to the whole Trump speech. Is he really extemporizing the whole time, no notes or teleprompter, after 4 previous rallies? It looks like it. Amazing performance at any age, even more so at 74.
His speeches generally are following the same basic structure. The bits in between is where new information comes in. If the crowd says something he might respond to it and make some news – like his Fauci comments yesterday.
An insightful comment RS. The speeches are complex and he uses them like a framework upon which he rifs subtle things , easy to overlook , but come back stronger and more developed. For instance his displeasure with the Supreme Court ruling.
The strong repetition that “we won’t forget what China did” actually seems more aimed at China than the audience, and the dogged repetition of “Where’s Hunter?” has an edge to it. that seems to be getting sharper.
I noticed an increased speed and force in the rally goers responses to the President’s comments. They knew what he was going to say and were synchromeshed

Oh, man, I remember staying up late when he was in Grand Rapids four years ago. I think he arrived there at 1 in the morning, and the people waited, including their children!
