I read Clay’s OutKick piece a couple of days ago about why he’s voting for President Trump. This is a guy who voted for Gore, Kerry, Ozero twice and Gary Johnson, but he’s one of many that the democrat party moved away from and lost. I love the idea but it seems far-fetched that she could pass Senate confirmation, even in a lame duck session. I’m honestly concerned about the Senate and the very weak RINOs all up for reelection. I think we gain several House seats but could lose one or two Senate seats.

Mark had been talking about how amazed he was by the kind of rallies Trump is having – numbers and enthusiasm. Then Rollens put a damper on it by pointing out Mondale had 100K at a rally in NYC.
What he failed to point out was that it was in the Garment Center, during lunch hour (audience was there anyway) and included Music Superstars!

Those of you in Fl with all the senior citizens, do you think those folks mailed in their ballots or might we lose some of them because they’re afraid to stand in a line because of Covid?
I don’t think COVID has as much to do with fear of standing in line than the actual physical strain of standing in line for several hours. That can be quite a physical challenge for anyone, especially a senior.
I’m afraid many (and not just seniors) may take one look at the long lines and simply turn around and go home.
Most smart seniors are used to doing mail-in ballots and haven’t gone and stood in line at the polls for years. And that applies to other states.
We are both VERY senior citizens, and we are both NOT afraid to vote in person – without masks, and NOT afraid to stand in line because of ANYTHING that may happen. We have both lived through more danger than standing in a line to vote!
Here in my bluest of blue counties outside Atlanta, most places during early voting had two lines at two separate entrances; one line for seniors so they didn’t have a long line to wait to vote. Places that didn’t have the two lines moved seniors to the front of the line as they arrived. Unfortunately, turnout was huge. But, we’ll see.
