We hear and read about alleged “threats” from politicians to remove Section 230 immunity from Social Media companies but, like AG Barr, there is NO ACTION. Words are cheap.
Yes, this was so predictable as to be silly. Of course all the “tech” companies were planning to do mass censorship right before the election, when it would have the biggest effect.
How many times were conservative voices censored over the last 2 years, only to be told by Jack (Twitter) and Scrotumberg (Facefook), et. al. that there was a “glitch in the algorithm”. No, those were tests of the censorship algorithms, to verify that conservative voices could be shut down quickly and effectively.
Many here, including myself, warned over a year ago to start using Gab, Parler, bitchute, etc., because the censorship was coming.
Truth is that many did start using alternate platforms, but I am still surprised at the fairly large number that didn’t, choosing to trust twitter, etc., when they were so blatantly demonstrating their bias.
I believe the censorship will in the long term result in beneficial changes, but for now, the alternate platforms are probably the way to go.
If we lose this election, the autopsy of this Presidency must ask:
1) Why were so many enemies put in control of Executive Branch agencies?
2) Why wasn’t more strength shown? Fire defiant personnel like Wray and Esper, declare Insurrection Act and clear the streets of all the trouble makers. I’ve said it before. Low IQ, low info voters don’t understand our government. They think President is the King you get to vote for. The “It’s your Democrat Governor’s fault” displayed weakness. “Ain’t you the President?” is the response. May seem counterintuitive, but he lost his gains with minority voters, particularly blacks, by not showing more strength. Blacks know BLM are trouble makers, and you didn’t stand up to them.
3) Why, at least at the very end here with nothing to lose, wasn’t the Republican Party called out more for lack of support? Why wasn’t Mitch dragged in public for things like blocking recess appointments?
4) Why wasn’t the crooked MSM challenged early on in every conceivable way by government agencies and in the courts? Why weren’t the Big Tech enemies broken up instead of wasting time trying to get them on board with America First? This is what happens when you are married to the idea that ‘more money will make everyone happy’.
5) Why weren’t docs ORDERED declassified instead of the impotent screeching on Twitter for 4 years? The Russia Collusion narrative could have been dispensed much quicker, and the Mike Flynn case brought to a crescendo sooner.
6) The guy famous for saying “You’re fired” should have done that a lot more.
One is left scratching one’s head.
This morning’s censoring by Twitter of a government website is election interfering and a threat to national security.
Possible national security emergency counter-measures available:
1. Close all US Twitter servers
2. Ban all US IPs from accessing Twitter
3. Arrest senior Twitter executives
The only obvious issue is the loss of the President’s Twitter account, but he has many other ways of getting the truth across.
Hunter is getting much more coverage by the Big Tech non coverage than if they hadn’t censored
But Twitter and MSM is fighting back on even that. Since the scandal broke, Twitter has kept on top of its page (“Whats Happening”) a story that the Washington Post has *confirmed* that Biden did not get the Ukrainian prosecutor fired (you know, the one Biden directly stated on camera that he did get fired and how he did it). I had to change my location to South Korea today to get that announcing propaganda off my screen.
Isn’t It is about much more that Hunter Biden? Twitter has crossed the Rubicon in it’s government censorship. There are likely to be important consequences with a President that does not take kindly to threats, faced with an enemy at the gate.
If government action is taken to close Twitter, an IT team needs to be ready to deal with the hundreds of Twitter clone sites awaiting activation.

Twitter and others keep getting away with now censoring the Pres., members of his administration, a news org. and no one pushes back meaning fully equals they will just accelerate their censorship of anything they want to. PT and all of us need to completely abandon Twitter and FB once and for all. Then Congress needs to take up this issue after the election if the repubs take control of the House and keep the other 2 banches.
