It could also be drugs. I met and briefly dated a gal from Redwood City (Nanzi’s district). She was on a cocktail of anti-depressants, hormones, and mood elevators, Ambien, etc. It made her a crazy person and was the reason I stopped seeing her. Like a switch being flipped, she (like Pelosi) would go off/on at any moment for no apparent reason. It opened my eyes to how many people (especially affluent women) are living in an altered state EVERY day. Frightening. I also think “progressive” people are more likely to subscribe to over-medication for a lot of reasons. That’s been my observation, anyway.

I have a slightly different read on this. I think we’re seeing a behind-closed-doors Dem strategy fight break out onto national TV, with Blitzer being activated as the attack dog.
The Dems bet the animal farm on Coronavirus, burning the economy to the ground (among other things) so they could blame it all on Trump. Somewhere, there is internal polling showing this NOT going the way they thought it would. Internal polling must be showing voters are blaming the Democrats, not Trump or Republicans.
