I listened to this Dem caller and I found it really interesting in that he was voting Biden of course but one thing he mentioned was how over the past 4 years things that were hidden are now coming out like the Proud Boys, etc…and so it seems to a Dem keeping things hidden is good ….l see it the direct opposite…bringing things out into the sunlight is how things are healed. (I’m not talking about the Proud Boys, just that the dark cannot tolerate the light…the llght shrivels it up..Dems I guess prefer to keep things in the dark in case they need it or something…).

I don’t think he “crushed” her, but he easily outshone her in professionalism, manner, composure, and sticking to facts. He did manage to get in several strategic zingers.
I was very impressed with our VP. The moderator and Harris, not at all impressed with their having any professional abilities other than to lie.
I had to give him credit where it was due tonight. But, I haven’t forgotten that he’s still best buds with the likes of many a rino, lyin’ ryan being the main one that doesn’t bode well.
My thought is that Pence is just a genuinely nice guy and doesn’t waste time disparaging others. He stays above the fray so to say…

After a slow start, he methodologically got in all the answers to the Biden/Harris lies and finally we got to see President Trumps accomplishments.

Raven, you are not alone in yur frustration. Many have tried to confront this issue wince the 2008 election when Obama was clearly ineligible because his father was under the jurisdiction of the British Crown.
I’m working on it. Many lawsuits have been entertained only to be tossed aside by the courts. It’s time the Congress followed up by the SCOTUS clarified the issue.

I will post later today in then Presidential Day #1358 with my summary of the history. Meanwhile, we need to fund one entity –perhaps Judicial Watch? — to undertake a movement to get this determined. My understanding is the points of approval are:
1. The Democrat and Republican Party heads who confirm their party’s candidates per The Constitution (?),
2. The states or attorneys general offices in each state where the candidates and elections are confirmed (thus Soros trying to control these offices),
3. The Congress where the Constitutional laws are confirmed,
4. The SCOTUS where judgements by the Congress are confirmed, if only temporarily as many have been overturned later.

I just watched the first 5 minutes of this and want to throw things at the TV! Page’s first question was deceptive because (more tests = more positives, actual % of positives is lower) and then mistates how many industrialized countries actually have a higher death per million than we do. Did the entire debate go like this? ?
That was among the worst. Emphasis on the fake climate change issue was up there as well. Handpicked false narrative questions via the Dems.
I had the same reaction, Magabear, at the beginning, but I watched the whole thing and glad I did — Kamala was very weak, giggled her way through the debate, very annoying…Pence was strong, direct, to the point, got in a lot of points that needed to be made about Trump’s achievements. He knocked it out of the park. I’m very pleased with Pence tonight.

The president should take some notes on how Pence handled a biased moderator and mixed up his attacks on Harris. At times he went on the attack and other times he let her speak at length. The more she talks the more the American people see how stupid and utterly incompetent. Those fence sitters may think long and hard now about voting for Biden knowing he may not make it through a full term if he steals the election, and then clueless Kamala become president. The Trump campaign needs to hit that theme hard going into next week’s second presidential debate!

The Charlottesville lie is going into the dustbin of history along with Dr. Ballsy-Fraud’s entire Kavanaugh testimony.
Scott Adams has done this at length using the transcript. He goes over it step by step. Even after someone sees they were wrong because 2 separate issues were conflated they will start over again with racism. He explains it better than me, he calls it a very “sticky” narrative. I think POTUS has made the calculation that the people who believe the fine people hoax will never change their minds so its not worth the effort.

Met the Vice President in Duluth about a month ago and wore a T-shirt that read, “Trump 2020, Pence 2024.”
The VP seemed genuinely grateful for the vote of confidence extended four years from now.
I watched the first half and couldn’t finish the rest. I felt like a sword fight was going on and that all Pence wanted to do was waltz. Sorry, I like President Trump’s battle style. Politeness just doesn’t match up to what the democrats dish out. We are in a war, not having a church picnic.
But Pence kept getting better and better, like a slow build up of paring, setting up a knockout. He destroyed all the Democrat talking points methodically. And finally someone answered the Charlottesville lie, which totally ruined her closing.
I agree, Raquel and Nepanyrush – Pence got better, but for me, he took way too long to get to the point, putting in all kinds of flourishes and niceties. His pace in the first half drove me crazy, because by the time his 2 minutes were up, he was just getting started, and kept talking over the moderator. (I wish they would have a light on the podium to give them a 30 second warning — I think I saw that in a debate from a previous election, and it worked well. That way, they know when to start winding down.)
In the last half, he finally started landing some punches and focusing his answers better. He made some crucial points that I was hoping he’d make. But I don’t see him as the one to pass the MAGA torch to for 2024. I would love to see Jim Jordan run — he is so pro-Trump and pro-MAGA, and seeing how he handles himself so well in House hearings, I think he would be a fantastic debater with whoever the Dems put on the ticket.
pence did screw up the answer to the 8th graders question about what she sees on the news. pence should have reminded her of america’s past. the founders were not polite to one another. pence said americans argue hard, and then come together in the end. not this time. i won’t be coming together with communists.

She was reading answers to the questions at certain points in the debate. No paper shuffling, No sorting through pages. It’s annoying that not only are the questions loaded in one direction but that one side knows what’s coming….
And some of the ones posed to Pence were LOADED QUESTIONS, such as the Climate Change question, in which the moderator made it seem that “It is settled science” that climate change is manmade.
Sure, the evidence shows that the climate IS changing. But there’s HUGE disagreement as to whether or not human activity is the significant factor.
All night the topics were posed in a very slanted manner.
