I don’t think any moderator could have controlled this properly. As Perot Conservative put it, ugly, with constant interruptions. Might as well put them in an actual boxing ring, or let them mud wrassle. If you can’t enlighten, at least entertain.

Better questions would have been a big help. Everything was surface level. Wallace never made either candidate actually think before answering, they just gave canned responses to questions they knew were coming. Trump had to question Biden because Wallace was throwing Biden softballs.
