Today is the opening Sunday of the NFL. I typically wake up on this day in my Falcons Jersey and say, “It is Football day baby. This is our year to win it all”. I then dive across the bed trying to tackle my wife and, of course, miss the tackle! She replies “You tackled just like that in High School”
It is always a great day. But I cannot bring myself to let someone, something or a group think they are bigger than the sport itself. They cannot claim it for themselves, make a political statement and assume that their current politics replaces all of the colorful history of this great sport.

I actually enjoy listening to my team on the radio. I put looping highlights from around the league on the TV and do chores around the house. Whenever my team does something spectacular I race from the chore I am working on to catch the replay on Redzone. My football day is typically concluded with the touchdown montage every Sunday evening around 7:20 p.m.
If the Falcons or Bulldogs loose I am unable to read about their games till about Wednesday.

I made the mistake of watching from the Notre Dame vs Duke nbc broadcast from pregame and opening prerecorded video setup, into the kickoff – yes they talked about blm/race on nbc, and incorporated ND players. I wasn’t happy at all, and almost tuned out – almost.
ND Uniforms had the ACC logo and whats called a “Rally” patch (team reference), but no actual blm crap anywhere that I saw. Duke team had black D on helmet and blm logo as well.

I think it’s hilarious that the NBA has been playing for a while now and it’s mostly a non-event. At least that’s how I perceive it as a somewhat sports fan who is conversant enough to usually talk sports with “fans” in conversation.
Sports radio used to be permanently on in my car. I cut them off cold turkey when they started soon after everything shut down and they were spouting off about CV-19 and politics. F-em.

You omit that the democrats and China Inc. tried to incapacitate the President in November 2019, via exposure to the China Virus at the trade talks. in related actions, you omit that Nancy Pelosi said there would be no impeachment trial in October 2019, until this attempt to incapacitate the President failed and a major diversion was needed to deploy the China Virus Sham-demic operation.
These omissions remove ALL context in any timeline cataloguing of the President’s actions.

Just watched this. It is a very emotional Roundtable. The people in that vid really love Trump and what he’s done/is doing for this country.
I walk by this house on my daily route. There’s a new family living there now, one of many new families in town because of the NYC exodus. When I’ve walked by everyone is speaking Spanish.
Last week is saw a Trump bumper sticker on a minivan parked in the driveway. Nice… But maybe a visitor to the house?
Today I walked by and there’s a Trump Flag and an American Flag flying from their garage. This is about four houses down from another NY transplant, going by the license plates, that is also flying an American Flag and Trump flag.
