Some of you might remember this horrible story.  We outlined it for two reasons:  First, because it was a horrible example of why we should all be prepared to defend ourselves in our own home.

Second, because of the abject disingenuous nature of the local LEO who said:

“How dare you think you can merely kick in a door and just do heinous crimes in our community. It’s unacceptable,” said IMPD Chief Rick Hite.
