What’s actually more interesting than the conversation between O’Mara and Chris Cuomo is the obvious nature of Chris Cuomo learning the skill of injection.
CNN is still Twitchy about Mr. Cuomo because he has not passed the critique of the propaganda elites in the CNN upper echelon. Cuomo’s bona-fides do not yet come as accepted without worry.
They are constantly monitoring his words and phrases. People who have reviewed CNN contextually, and with curiosity and intellectual honesty, will admit to having noticed this with many stories the have a need to shape in a very specific and nuanced way. I know the first time I found out that CNN was actually paid to deliver their stories in a particular fashion (See: Susan Kelly for Benghazi talk, and Soledad O’Brien for racial talk) I was shocked, well, perhaps better said as creeped-out. So there are probably more than a few people in the dark as to what they are actually receiving from the network.
Knowing the scripts are administered through upper production offices, with intents outlined in the telling of any story, it’s actually quite funny to watch Cuomo looking off camera for the cues to talking points he is expected to drop into the conversation. Cuomo is just not good at doing it yet. He is still in training so to speak, so the handlers have to present the “cue cards” and in-person gestures to get his attention.
