Here is the full video of Robert Zimmerman’s interview on Piers Morgan. As you watch the video, remember the progressive approach to controlled narrative. Isolate – Ridicule – Marginalize
- As expected Morgan used the Mark O’Mara interview to isolate Robert Zimmerman Jr.
- Morgan skillfully then ridiculed him using Zimmerman’s own apology to verbally beat him up.
- Then Morgan marginalized Zimmerman by framing the previous controversial tweet as racist.
Isolate – Ridicule – Marginalize. It is the approach always taken.
Also note when the O’Mara leverage is pulled, Piers sees himself losing ground to the point that Robert Jr. is making – as soon as he views the Zimmerman position as foundational, and with merit, he quickly moves to remove the validity of the position by using Mark O’Mara’s admonishment to marginalize and isolate Zimmerman’s point.
This is a classic example of media narrative control. The agenda is diminishment and disparagement. The approach is classic Alinsky (Fabian-Socialist) Isolate – Ridicule – Marginalize.
Also note the subtext (attribution) on the O’Mara quote as it appears on the screen.
It is never attributed to The Daily Beast columnist because the viewer knowledge of the Daily Beast ideology diminishes the impact. It is presented as a stand alone quote, as if O’Mara gave a press release admonishing Robert Zimmerman Jr.
It is only by knowing what adversary you face that you can understand how to fight them effectively. This is new ground for Team Zimmerman, they have never fought this enemy before – but Robert Jr. does a good job despite the bias he is confronting.
Unfortunately, as previous discussions have highlighted, Mark O’Mara does not see the enemy as his opposition – he sees the collective grievance industry as a counterpart. Hence he assists, unwittingly, the trap that Robert Zimmerman is forced to walk in to.
