I cannot believe what I am hearing and seeing. The President of the United States is blatantly lying right now, on TV, in front of my eyes. This White House Administration team is incrediously innept, manipulative, and at times, flat out liars. I just watched him on TV lie by saying:
“We responded immediately and quickly to the crisis in Libya, and now our partners in Europe and around the world have joined us”. -Barack Obama 3/18
Well allow me to lay out the facts. I previously outlined them on February 26th in this post. But here they are again as blatant proof Barack Hussein Obama is a liar in chief:
President Obama DID NOT call for Ghadaffi to step down immediately. He waited 11 days from the beginning of the uprising to make his first statement. His position was: “It is up to the Libyan people to decide if Gaddafi should go.”
“I would repeat what I just said, and because it is a matter for the people of Libya to decide it is also clear that the people of Libya have continued use of deadly violence, his clear violations of human rights are totally unacceptable,” Carney said. (Video Here from February 25th)
Again let me repeat. Obama said nothing, nada, zippo, zylch for 11 days after the turmoil in Libya began. (He claimed a ‘scheduling conflict’ for his delay) Then after stating the above he made a decision to rely on “Pantsuits” Clinton and the United Nations to take action. But something strange on that front too. While the U.N. was in emergency session on February 25th and February 26th to draft sanctions against Libyan mad-dog Moammar Khadafy The United States Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice was not even there. This is how the NYPost Reported it:
(NYP) There were plenty of carbon emissions over Tripoli and Benghazi this week — from fighter-jet and helicopter exhaust as Khadafy loyalists strafed protestors in the streets, and from exploding Molotov cocktails. Lead poisoning from stray AK-47 rounds were an issue, too.
But instead of taking the lead as the United Nations tried to force Khadafy to end his war on his own people, America’s top UN official was essentially AWOL.
Which is every bit as shameful as it sounds.
But it’s hardly a surprise, given the Obama administration’s utter cluelessness in the Middle East of late. O & Co. have been out to lunch since protests swept dictators out of power in Tunisia and Egypt — just as they’ve been slow to act against Khadafy now (more)
Again, this was on the same day that the White House said “it is a matter for the people of Libya to decide“. The UN was in emergency session, Obama was golfing, and Susan Rice left for a Global Sustainability – Carbon Emissions Conference in Cape Town, South Africa -8,000 miles away- the topic? Bovine Emissions and Global Impact from Bovine Emissions along with “Green Iniatives”. These same UN sanctions that President Obama just went on TV and took credit for creating – Seriously, I’m not kidding, I just saw it with my own eyes. Incredulous !! Beyond Lying!!
What really stokes my ire in his manipulation of reality, is that Obama is claiming to have done something specifically on the exact date that the Americans in Libya were stranded by the State Department bumbling their evacuation on a boat that was too small, while Ghadaffi straffed the streets. We wrote about it here, and you know what Obama was doing on this exact day? HOSTING A MOTOWN REVIEW DANCE PARTY in the White House.
Think anyone in the media will challenge him on these claims. These lies. These easy to disprove mistruths.? Arrrrgh…. /SD
